The Prime Canggu Bali

The prime canggu has been by far the best place ive stayed at in bali! I booked a single room private villa and right from the pleasant greeting of the staff all the way to check out was such a wonderful experience. The staff are genuinely kind amd attentive, they remember your name and also the little details you tell them such as your plans in bali. The staff was also only a call away and willing to help with any request I had. Ive never experienced bali hospitality before and I have to say its world class. The food was delicious and the whole hotel was beautiful! Perfectly located, very close to the beach yet still quiet most of the day and night! My biggest thanks to all the staff; from security, reception, cleaning, dining and even the gardening team was very kind! I couldn't recommend the prime enough to anyone interested or looking for a quality stay at a still reasonable price!

Staff amazing Room was very accurate to pics…..although the private pool in the one bedroom villa is smaller than the pics but still great. Entrance/kitchen/lounge area was great to have Huge bar fridge was very good to have. Double the size of most hotel bar fridges Clothes cupboard area was nicely hidden around the end of the bathroom. That was great. Bathroom amazing. The design is super cool. High pitch cone ceiling was very cool. Bed very comfy The main pool does not have much sunbaking space at all if ur not staying in a villa with private pool The property does have an odd dirty linen surcharge tho. I was there during wet season (feb 2026) and they did make me aware of this possible extra linen washing policy to which I didn’t see as an issue at first. But seeing as it was very heavy rain 80% of my stay, unfortunately I did get the sheets a bit wet and muddy so to speak by putting my back pack and feet on the bed after being outside. So I did need the fitted sheet and mattress protector replaced. And I was charged AUS92 for the cost of washing the dirty ones. $92 is definitely not the end of the world, I was just a little surprised at that small extra cost during wet season

A la carte breakfast very good, however the premade tea was only luke warm. Comfortable room, excellent value through Booking.com Cold tea. Ask for tea bag and hot water.

Food

I had such a great stay at this hotel! It is in the center of Canggu. The staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and super polite. Special thanks to Anna and Sisil for their kindness and also to Rai and Rini the reception girlies for their warm welcome and great service, and to all the staff of the hotel to be honest, they were all amazing and helpful without exception !!! The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality! All good!!

It was in a quiet location, tucked away down an alleyway. However my room was on the second floor across from the restaurant and there was a little bit of early morning noise when staff were preparing for breakfast which carried to my room.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Prime Hotel Canggu! Our one-bedroom villa was gorgeous and so comfortable, but what really made the trip unforgettable was the amazing staff. Ana, Cecil, Dian, Rai and Elza went above and beyond with their care and attention to detail. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Location in the heart of Canggu. Cool pool with 4 meters access from the room. Free drinks and breakfast and more. Great room with everything one need. Maybe just the lack of elevator that was tough on my wife after 2 days of stairs walking in the north of Bali. So go up/down to the restaurant daily was a bit too hard for her.

Vila was a great size and has all you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting upgraded to a vila. The staff went above and beyond to help us where needed. The bed is very comfortable and good size. Love the size of the pool in the vila and worth every penny of the upgrade. Good privacy and in a great location but tucked back away from the Main Street so very peaceful. Would 100% stay here again. Food was good but not great. So many good food options around so not an issue.

Took on our last minute booking with enthusiasm and kindness. Our room was prepared with love, personalised note & all despite the last minute arrangement. Very clean & centrally located in Canggu. Lovely staff all round from the front desk to the restaurant, we felt very welcome. Bed could be a bit more comfy ? But everyone is different.

The only thing that was a little inconvenient was that the breakfast was served on the terrace and you had to climb some stairs and it was quite hot, as it is in the open.

Everyone at Prime were amazing to the guests. They were friendly and remembered our names. The rooms were very clean, and the service was excellent. The pool was nice. The location was close to everything, shops, restaurants, the beach, yet not on the busy road and thus it was quiet. Not much to improve on. I would suggest more hooks to hang towels, etc. in the bathrooms. The beds were a bit firm, but ok once we were used to them.

Everything about the Prime was amazing. The staff greeted me and my daughter with our names every time. Helped us with our very many bags, and even offered to store them. Our room had a cute bowl of fruit, and welcome note. The bathroom had a bathtub, which was greatly enjoyed by my daughter. The hotel is in a great location, at the end of the street so there are no motorbike or construction noise. We stayed long enough to qualify for free breakfast, which was a lovely bonus. The pool was both sunny, and shady with great beanbags, chairs, and umbrellas. My daughter ended up getting sick, and the staff was more than helpful - even in the middle of the night - with new sheets, in a not so pleasant smelling room. I truly appreciated that. Really close by to great restaurants, very easily walkable to the beach. Would definitely suggest coming here, and I am sad our visit was only three days. We will have to come back I wish we could have stayed longer. There was nothing bad about our stay.
