Days Inn by Wyndham Calvert City/Paducah East

The hotel is conveniently located. It was easy to park in front of our room door, which made carrying in luggage very easy. I found the bed comfortable and had a good night sleep. It advertised breakfast included, but there was only dry cereal, two slices of bread to make for toast. There was a juice dispenser and A coffee dispenser, I didn’t use either so I’m not sure if they worked. There are plenty places around the hotel to get breakfast just don’t count on having breakfast there. I stayed two nights and housekeeping did not come in to make beds or replace dirty towels. I was able to go to the front desk and get clean towels with no problem.

It was safe and fairly clean. Not enough towels and on the second floor. The 4 of us were in our 70s and it was a little hard to climb the stairs.

Nothing I didn’t even stay because when I looked at the room the carpet was dirty and it smells and the tub was rusty Everything it was a very old building need to be remodeled inside and out.

That there were no parking spaces available for a car with a trailer so we switched rooms to the opposite side which ended up being a smoking room. The bed cover as well as the towels were covered with cigarette burns and stains. The room was very much covered with smoke dust and burns

For the price- it was okay. That’s not to say it was good. The room itself was nice- new paint, nice linens, decent mattress, nice bathroom sink, seemed clean… then I went into the bathroom… ugh. The floor tile was old and even though it may have been clean it was just too old to look clean. But the bathtub was the worst. One of the older old-fashioned looking bathtubs and the white enamel on the bottom of the tub was all rubbed off and just looked like crap. The shower curtain was also not very clean looking. The last disappointment was at breakfast, they’re just really wasn’t much food and there was nothing that was fresh. Sliced bread, sliced cinnamon bread, cereal, a few apples, a coffee machine that seemed really gross… It was very disappointing. I will say the staff was always very kind and cheerful.

It was a good day overall. Withdraw out of state state there as we were coming through the room was clean. On the way home we stayed again and it was very obvious. The carpet had not been vacuum so it made you wonder about other things being wiped down. We have a toddler so it’s very important to us to make sure the carpet is clean. It would be nice to offer rooms that do not have carpet. Staff was friendly.

There was cat hair on the bed and a musty smell. We used air freshener and took the comforter off the bed. Overall a pleasant stay.

The gentleman at desk when I checked in was exceptional and friendly! Rooms were clean and comfortable.
