The Flower B&B

We loved the closeness to the Bruges Marketplace and also the little romantic touches in our room by the host to make our stay so pleasant. In summary, the room was charming, the cleanliness was first class, the welcoming staff did their best to assist us, the security system was useful and the close vicinity to the Marketplace first rate. 10 out of 10 for this property thank you. There is a steep climb to our room over three flights of stairs with our heavy bags but that's okay because we expected this staying in a BnB like this. This would not be advisable for anyone who is infirm or lacking in mobility, but for us it was not a problem. One tiny detail might be a suggestion which is to attach a small shower gel, conditioner and shampoo dish to the inside of the shower cabinet, maybe to the inside of the glass door via some suction cups if possible. But this really is a minor issue and more of a suggestion than any complaint.

Parking was far but well explained so expected

The most amazing staff, delicious breakfast, lovely room with a little deck to enjoy. Lovely, thoughtful touches throughout, mini-fridge. We were leaving very early the next morning so they left our breakfast in our room! They even did a load of laundry for us, thank you!

This B&B is a bit quirky And definitely not for everyone. The Hôtel design and description DO NOT MATCH what is there. PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVES… There are only 2 rooms, one on the second floor and one on the third floor. We could never have made it up the stairs to the third floor and you have to be minimalist packets and athletic under 28 to manage this room. The breakfast service time was no negotiable and we survived the lack of a room thermostat only because it was unseasonably chilly for our September stay and we had a second comforter for the bed. Unfortunately this DID NOT accommodate the bathroom temperature which made a shower a Nordic event. The location is excellent, specify the second floor room and DO NOT risk a stay any time other than seasonal temps. Circular staircase, no elevator. Physically challenging. Breakfast served at 9am No individual room thermostat. This means NO AC AND NO HEAT and there are no screens for the windows.

Host is welcoming and kind, welcome drink, drinking water in the room, tasty waffles with coffee ;) Nice spacious and light room with a comfortable bed. Extra terrace in the backyard. Location is super central. -

Staff was extremely accommodating. The room was adorable and very comfortable. It was obvious how much thought the host put into making sure her guests felt special and tended to. The stairs but unfortunately unavoidable in the area.

Proximity to sites. Cleanliness. Tanya is a wonderful, friendly host. Room was spacious. Fridge an complimentary soda and small bottle of BRUT. Prepare to climb up some stairs. Bring your own washcloth.

Loved the location. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing.

Tania and Pavel were excellent hosts, the property is delightful and the breakfast was fantastic. Location is central to everything in Bruges and the room and facilities are perfect. Steep narrow stairs were a struggle with our luggage but absolutely worth the effort.

The welcome we got upon arrival was wonderful. Having a bottle of Cava on the bed was a fabulous touch. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and the shower was amazing! The breakfast was gorgeous! The presentation was stunning and they adapted the breakfast to suit allergies without any problem. The location was perfect! Within a couple of minutes walk we were on the market square and 20 minutes walk we were at the train station. We had the best trip to Bruges and The Flower B’n’B really added to this! 100% will stay here again and recommend it to friends and family! The stairs were a little tight but reaching the top of them to our room made it worthwhile

From the moment you walk in its wonderful. Was here for my birthday weekend and the host tania was brilliant. Breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented. From a small bottle of bubbly..chocolates and beer in the fridge..outstanding..my birthday balloons and waffle plus extra fizz and sweets was perfect!! Thank you!!!!

The room is super cute, comfortable and cozy, great shower and bathroom in general and a very cute terrace. The owner of the B&B was super helpful and kind to us! Also amazing location, a few steps from the main square (Grote markt)

Delighted with our stay here - the bnb is modern but very warm and cosy, and the hosts have added lovely touches to make it feel homely with warm lighting, tea and coffee etc. Tanya greeted us on arrival and is so warm and friendly. Our room even had a little porch outside - it was a bit chilly in winter but would be absolutely gorgeous in summer. The location is unmatched - Bruges is a pretty small, walkable city but this was less than 5 minutes walk from any attraction we wanted to visit. My only gripe is that the central location came with noise - it was very loud outside our room on Saturday night so bring earplugs! The room was very clean but could have done with a dust as I noticed the wooden furniture was quite dusty.

Absolutely beautiful and welcoming, the room was immaculate and beautifully heated. It was all perfect, there’s nothing I would have changed.

What an excellent day we have spent in Bruges! Tanya does an excellent job here, and the good taste and work is noticeable in all the details of this small paradise in the city. The rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast is spectacular. We already miss Archie, their dog, who is pure love. Thank you for everything again. When we return to Bruges, you will surely have us back! Alan
