The hotel was beautiful, as was the room. The front desk clerk (I believe her name was Maria) helped me with my bags, due to an injury that made it difficult for me to move my luggage. She was incredibly accommodating, and I was very appreciative. There was nothing to dislike. It was a wonderful experience.

This hotel was superb, the decor was beautiful. It was exceptionally clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, I especially loved the Belgian pancakes! The location was fantastic. We walked everywhere and found it easy to pop back into our room to rest or refresh. The restaurant Diligence across the road was very good and convenient. We used Uber to get to and from the train station. The view from our ‘canal view’ room did not disappoint. Very pretty. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was great!

Location Had reserved five premium historic rooms but was "upgraded" against my will and without prior notice to family rooms. Bad experience and very unprofessional. Also shortage of staff in the bar leading to long waits.
