Bert and Astrid made us feel at home, always stopping to have a chat, and welcomed into their home. The location was excellent. Not far from the centre of the old town and all the tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area for the laid back ambiance of the city. That we couldn't stay longer.

High quality across the board. Great hosting with regular check ins from the host. The property is magical and the food for breakfast was our favorite. 10/10 would stay again Honestly, everything was just so great. The smallest comment I’d make is that it would be nice to have a couple extra outlets in our room, but that’s a very small note.

Very beautiful house on the canal with charming terrace. The interior has been tastefully renovated with quirky furnitures and objects. We were a bit unlucky to have a very noisy family staying above our room.

Proper was in an excellent Old Town location. Staff were all SUPERB! Breakfast was wonderful every day! Many steep stairs to upper floor rims with no elevator…but staff will take your bags up for you if you ask.

Great location, delicious breakfast, comfortable rooms. One should know the attic room is 2 flights of narrow, steep stairs. It did not diminish our stay but if someone has mobility issues or trouble carrying bags up stairs, be mindful.
