The hotel was perfect and tastefully decorated. The rooms were bigger than most and very comfortable and quiet. The choice of foods at breakfast met all expectations and dietary needs. I would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect as it was away from the busy tourist areas. There was a pretty canal close by with lovely bars and restaurants where you could enjoy one of Belgium’s beers and good food. I have no complaints about the property as I enjoyed my stay there.

Lovely historic building close to the attractions in the centre of Bruges, lift to all floors, limited availability secure extra height garage available at cost, nice breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful Nothing to dislike, our rooms were shower over bath I’m unsure if this is every room, merely for less able bodied to consider, a non slip rubber bath mat was supplied for my elderly father and he managed no problem.

The historical building is amazing— the garden and reception are super welcoming to stay and enjoy the inside view. The limitations of internal areas for pets, but I can imagine no everyone takes care of as we do…

We were very happy with our stay. The breakfasts were super, great selection with beautiful fresh fruit to start with.

Nice room on 3rd floor with plenty of space. Air conditioning was great to have during an early heat wave. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice, pastries, and homemade jams as well as eggs and bacon. Automatic espresso machine was a wonderful addtion.

Excellent location, beautiful property, and helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit expensive. Could do with a rail for the outside stepps.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May 2026. The Hotel is in the old city but is accessible via a motorable road. The taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was around Euro 16. We could walk to all attractions from the hotel The hotel is a heritage building so rooms are very small. Ours was on a floor that is accessible by an elevator (all rooms are not). Our room had very low beams close to the bed and in the bathroom. We had to be very careful not to hit our heads on these beams (and we are not very tall). For some reason our bathtub had no shower curtain. This led to a lot of water spraying all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was served in a small room. However, the breakfast spread was very minimal. When I wife asked eggs can be prepared, the lady was kind of curt with her answer. We would stay in this property if we ever return to Brugge.
