Los Arcos Hotel Gothic Quarter, Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy

Central location is great, chosen specifically as we know Barcelona well. The bed was a lot firmer than expected but after the 1st night we were too exhausted to notice

Hotel Hamsa House was a lovely stay - the room was very spacious and comfortable. Location was great, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and right near shops, cafes and restaurants, so perfect for getting out to explore. Staff at the sister hotel were friendly and helped us walk our bags over (only a 5 min walk). Being so close to entertainment, it was a little noisy, however nothing to complain about and to be expected being close (earplugs are provided and did the trick).

The location was fabulous as too were the staff on reception who went out of there way to assist us. The room unfortunately felt and looked grubby. There was hair in the bathroom and the floors I don't think had been moped as our bare feet became very dirty whilst just walking around the room.

Great location in Barrio Gótico just off the Plaça Reial. One block from La Rambla, 5-6 blocks from port. No staff or reception on premises, no common spaces outside your room. Check in is at the Hotel California, several blocks away.

Very modernized rooms and linens, incredibly clean and stylish bathrooms and good shower. This is a good economic option that is very close to La Rambla. Also, despite being in a heavily trafficked area, the rooms were very quiet. The rooms are very small, and the Hamsa House itself does not have reception. You have to take your bags across the nearby plaza to Hotel California to check in where they give you a door code for the main door and your room door.

The location was excellent. The staff at Hotel California, where the front desk is located, was friendly and super helpful. The room was nice and very clean. The bathroom is modern and big size for European standards. The beds are a little hard and there's not much room to move when you are four in the same bedroom.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Hamsa House. The location was perfect, the room was beautiful and thoughtfully equipped, and the bathroom was incredibly spacious. Every staff member we met was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This was my third time visiting Barcelona, but my first time staying at Hamsa House — and it definitely won’t be my last. I’ll absolutely be looking to stay here again on future trips to Barcelona.
