Room Mate Carla, Barcelona

Location was great! Very quiet area with clean rooms and proper lighting. The staff was not attentive. Worse staff for in my about 20 hotels across Spain. There was only one young man I will give 5 stars at check-in ! The regular rooms have soluble powder coffee to use with hot water. Only the Suites get a coffee pot, I was told. Staff not helpful at all. We stayed 3 nights at about 260 Euros a night. Will not stay again and not recommend

There was not enough closet space in the room.

The location of this property is excellent. A hearty breakfast buffet as well. Staff were very helpful.

The room was nice. In a great area. Super walkable and a 15 min walk from Sagrada Família The bed was not comfortable. The receptionist Silvia was so freaking rude. All the other staff was great but Silvia, extremely rude and should maybe look into another career if she can’t provide at the very least good customer service.

The room and bed were large and comfortable. Having the terrace was wonderful! My husband particularly liked the fitness center. Yes, it is very small, but it did the job, and they are hard to find at all. The location was ideal for walking around Barcelona. The hallways are oddly dark. That seems intentional, setting a mood, perhaps? But the room was quite bright, so really not a problem.

the room was great, the breakfast was ok, nothing really special, but the staff were lovely and great. they also let you leave the suitcases in the hotel if you have a late flight. the location is the real star of the show! Sometimes it was a little noisy due to vehicle traffic, but it didn't detract from the hotel experience.

Location is superb, excellent value for the money. The moment you walk out, you can see the top of Sagrada Familia, and you are two blocks away from the main street. You are surrounded by amazing cafes and blocks that you can stroll around for days. A quiet and safe neighborhood. Beds being two separate single beds and them moving during the night while sleeping was a pain. The iron was leaking water and had a malfunction unfortunately, but we got by!

Nothing much to be honest… location might be the only good thing 1-Staff were not concerned about the guests. Felt more like renting a room in a random building rather than a hotel 2- one of our rooms had a huge yellow bed stain on it and when I complained to the reception, they said sorry we cannot do anything about it as we do not have cleaners today 3- the entrance of the hotel is dark fine but also covered with street dirt and dust and leaves 4- breakfast plates and cups are not clean. The breakfast was very basic.

This situation is especially upsetting as these were my child’s belongings, which have not only financial but also personal value. I expected at least a basic level of customer care and willingness to help, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Such treatment of guests leaves a very negative impression and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s integrity. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious and not rely on the staff’s support in similar situations.

Excellent location, outstanding staff and very good breakfast. The corridor seemed dusty .

they refilled the complement water whenever we asked. everywhere clean and modern, definitely it made our hotel stay so lovely! a little far from the bus stop from/to the airport by foot, so we used the R2N train which is closer and more convenient.
