Mesón Castilla Atiram Hotel

Friendly staff. Decent breakfast, very clean. Updated bathroom, even a tiny fridge in the room. Great location. The room was very, very small. No safe in the room; no room for suitcases, five hangers for two people.

room was on a side street. Could hear some outside noise, but not disruptive. Guaranteed 2 twin beds, which was hard to find when looking for a hotel... most said they wouldn't guarantee it wouldn't be a full size bed. Didn't use the breakfast buffet, but did see it and it looked excellent. Staff was extremely helpful!!!!!!!!

The property was excellent, and the staff truly stood out for their friendliness and professionalism—they made the stay feel welcoming from start to finish. The location is another major advantage. It’s conveniently close to both metro and bus lines, making it very easy to get around without needing a car. Whether heading into the city center or exploring nearby areas, transportation is simple and efficient. Access to the beach is also very convenient. You can reach it by bus Line H16 or opt for a short drive if you have a rental car, giving you flexibility depending on your plans. Overall, a very comfortable and well-located property with excellent service. The only minor consideration is the proximity to the communal garbage containers. While this is not something the property controls, it’s worth noting for light sleepers or those sensitive to surroundings. That said, it did not impact the overall experience—there were no issues with odors or flies during the stay, which speaks to how well the area is maintained.

Great location, amazing parking security and staff. Overall stylish and nice Cleaning staff left the room door open! It was ajar and unsecured with passports etc inside. (No safe for valuables.) The triple room was very small, not enough room to open suitcase and walk.

The staff was excellent. Room was very clean. Fresh linens when needed. Very good location. Very nice to have a good elevator also. The room was pretty tight and neighboring rooms could be lightly heard

The hotel was close to everything Love the location I know that I was there in February so it is like your winter but the room was very warm

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The "guest of the week" was a nice touch. The bathroom was excellent for a disabled guest. There was enough space in the room for the wheelchair. Wheelchair ramp to the breakfast room. Great location - walking distance to the old city. Elevator was a bit small and difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair (not sure how this could be solved). The breakfast was fine but seemed a bit pricey for what was on offer.

Room is not reachable via escalator. I have carried all baggage from stairs. Room was average size for 4 people. We have found small red instincts at one bed.

he room was clean and well-maintained, but it felt too small for three people. Additionally, the three large trash bins placed right in front of the hotel give an unpleasant first impression — the smell and appearance are quite off-putting.” The staff are nice and the bathroom is clean

Small room but very adequate! No street noise. Super clean shower. Enjoyed the comfortable lobby and 2nd floor seating area for reading and also met some nice people. Water station in the lobby was nice. It was still hot in September, but the air-conditioning in the room was super!! Location was excellent. Even our taxi driver said we were in the middle of a lot of things. Small hotel located near many restaurants. Friendly, front desk person at the hotel was EXTREMELY helpful with maps, locations, The breakfast looked great at the hotel, but we preferred to go out to a local coffee bar.

Mason Castilla Atiram was exactly what we needed to enjoy and make the best of our 2 1/2 day stay in Barcelona. It was very clean, comfortable and the concierge staff was outstanding. One night the fire alarm went off for a long time. The night staff need to know how to deactivate it. Life is not perfect but we can always do better.

The room and bed where quite small.

Great location, comfortable rooms and staff were exceptional. Bastian, Marc, Carlos Isa and Oscar were very friendly, attentive and made my friend and I feel completely at home.

Cleanliness of the towels, sounds from next rooms can be heard clearly which is very annoying during night, the pillows are not comfortable at all.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and filling! Tiny room.
