Position and facilities. The problem being the restaurants and top floor are public areas and there is no chance of a booking. Lifts are literally full of people trying to get to the top floor and returning disappointed. The noisiest rooms I have ever stayed in. We had young kids screaming up and down the corridors and jumping on their beds until 1:15am when the parents returned. Thereafter another 30 minutes of parental and kids conflict and crying. Literally the worst night that I have ever experienced in a so called luxury Hotel and no intervention from the Front Desk who said they did not want to get involved despite complaints from 8 rooms.

As always, The Majestic treated us to exceptional staff service and very comfortable rooms. The bathtubs are some of the best in Europe and the breakfast IS the very best! ALWAYS get the breakfast, you will be very glad you did. I have no complaints, this was my 4th stay and The Majestic is my home in Barcelona !
