Central location and friendliest receptionists

The front desk was very helpful. Let us check in early and held our bags for us, even took them up to the room as soon as it was ready.

The staff members were the most accommodating and friendly, demonstrated a high level of professionalism.

The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming! They are happy to give recommendations and accommodate you however they can. They managed to get my room ready for me early which was a lifesaver after all the travel to get to Barcelona. The breakfast was good - I recommend trying the jams as they’re quite good. The location is great - very easy to walk wherever you want to go. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. When I was checking out, I had a good amount of time left before I had to get to the airport, and they happily stored my luggage so I could spend the day walking around carefree and when I returned they kindly welcomed me to relax in their lobby while I waited for my ride. I could not have asked for a better stay. Make sure you keep in mind that the streets around the hotel are pedestrian streets - they make this clear in their welcome message.

The location is good and we like the old town and the boutique style building.

The staff was wonderful, the room was convenient, and the bed was comfortable. It is a charming hotel tucked in a residential alley of the El Raval neighborhood. The room had one window overlooking an interior patio and the backs of other apartment buildings, so the glass wasn’t clear (understandably). It provided adequate daylight; however, I would have preferred a clear window, which I guess is provided in rooms overlooking the street. Not a big problem, just a preference.

Best service I have ever received. Friendly, very helpful and excellent advice and suggestions. Great location near metro station. Uber can't find the hotel but taxis can.
-
The quiet of the location, accommodating and kind staff. The room was clean, breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. The location is kind of far from where we spent most of our time.

Loved the 24/7 coffee machine. The receptionist was so friendly and provided us with local recommendations. They were accommodating and let us check in early around 10a. No climate control in room, no screens or light curtains for window. Window faced courtyard with many other windows. To maintain privacy, we had to open window but then cover it with the heavy curtains which restricted airflow.

Staff was super helpful prior to and during our stay. They reached out to me a week before my stay to confirm a couple things. I also requested a closed off bathroom and separate twin beds which they were able to accommodate. The hotel is also conveniently located near popular neighborhoods which made it easy to plan our days. Our room was perfectly clean everyday. They do have some good breakfast offerings in the lobby which you can choose to add on anytime during your stay. There is a club/bar on the next street over which gets pretty loud at night (until ~5am). This was only an issue starting Friday night but during the weekdays the noises outside weren’t as bothersome. However, this could be due to where our room was located, but you can still hear groups talking outside until around midnight most nights. Just something to note for light sleepers.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleans and comfortable The neighborhood is as pretty loud since it’s around the corner from a dance hall

The customer service was excellent! The hosts were more than accommodating and extremely welcoming. The free coffee and tea was excellent, and we certainly took advantage of it. My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend H La Paloma to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with a great location and phenomenal hospitality! There was construction being done outside of our room which woke us up a couple of the mornings we stayed there, but everything else more than made up for it.

This little boutique hotel is a gem. Very clean and the best of staff. Ellena who was the daytime person was exceptionally help in everything. The breakfast was first rate and the always available coffee was a great add on. Beds comfortable and bathroom large. Bring facecloths as most European hotels don’t have them. We had difficulties with several uber drivers not being able to fine the small street it was located on.

I liked everything except the taxi couldn't go directly to hotel but just a short walk no big deal.

Lovely place. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The room is as seen in the pictures. I especially liked the bathroom in the room. The facilities in the room are in good condition and comfortable. Location is very central and near the airport bus stop, so you get everything you need. They offer free coffee and tea for the guests, and the quality is nice. The alley where the entrance is located looked quite shady, but nothing happened, so it might be just me. You may hear toilets flushing from the rooms above you.

The staff is really something else! They are all super kind and available. The room is big compared to other hotels I’ve been to and there is a bathtub. The street can be a bjt noisy sometimes. But well, it is a big city in the downtown area.

Hands down best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Nothing.

Very friendly and available staff. My bf had his birthday during our stay and they wrote a very cute note, thank you! Really clean and spacoius room, good breakfast and I liked the interior of the common spaces! The area is close to all the central attractions. All the common spaces are available on the day of checkout - great if you have an evening flight. Also you can leave the luggage for storage. It's just small things, nothing super bad, but the drain in the shower was not working really well (so had to wait for the water to go down during shower sometimes).
