We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Beautiful infinity adult pool and two other pools for family ! They had tons of activities for families/kids and adults as well (live music events everynight! Great restaurants. Extremely nice staff . I liked how there were managers walking around and the staff always picking up any trash and abandoned towels . Always tons of towels availables. Very attentive staff . Beautiful property overlooking the Hill country and golf course ! Will definitely book another staycation

I stayed here 4 days and never once made it anywhere without getting lost. It was draining.

The Omni Barton Creek resort is beautiful, the staff is accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. There are 4 pools, all accessible, 2 are for adults. The only complaints we might have is that the 2 queen size beds in our room had very soft mattresses; we sleep on firm mattresses at home and in most hotels. The other minor complaint is in the bathroom; the vanity is small with no shelves on the other size for our shaving supplies and cosmetics. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We went here for a low key spring break from Dallas. It exceeded our expectations. Great for families with so many activities for adults and kids young or older. Loved that they have a Bobs on site for a nicer option for one of the nights. Great views. Loved it.

There were a couple of downsides. The service at the pool could definitely be improved, as staff didn’t feel very friendly or attentive. We also ordered room service twice, and both times our order was incomplete. That said, the staff was apologetic and handled it professionally. Overall, despite a few service hiccups, we had a nice stay and really enjoyed the property and amenities.

The location is very lovely! The room wasn’t ready. They asked us to please wait on a room high up and all they had was ground floor. We waited with all our things in the lobby just to be handed a key to the 2nd floor. Then the view was the roof. When we showered, the highest pitch whistle came from the shower head. And that room we waited on was next to the elevator so we didn’t get much sleep. Bummer.

We truly appreciated the staff for acknowledging our anniversary and thoughtfully upgrading our room—it made our stay feel special from the start. Upload speeds were in sane range whether in our rooms, in hallways, or in the lobby hotel. This made even simple tasks like scrolling on Facebooki difficult if not impossible. I mentioned this issue to the staff and they gave me another network to use. That being said, staff were wonderful. In addition I found the housekeeping and maintenance staff to be polite, helpful, and made to feel like a valued customer. There are 4 golf courses associated with this resort. We played the Foothills Fazio course. It was in immaculate shape. Overall a wonderful experiece with the only disappointment being the quality of wifi reception.

We have a great stay for fall break. The food on the property was very good. It was quiet and clean an plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. We did the nature trail, the putt putt, the pool, the bounce house. Loved it and will be back. Very pretty property

We were double charged for breakfast I don’t remember pool service giving me a receipt of costs to sign. It felt overcrowded at adult pool. Mini golf was very outdated and not clean- kids running around everywhere without shoes. The stairs from 1st to restaurant with green wallpaper was so dirty and heavily trafficked. It just was disappointing. The front desk and cleaners were kind. We come to Austin often and must say I don’t think I would consider this spot again.

The room we were given was disappointing. The window faced the front porch and couldn’t be opened, which made the stay uncomfortable. While the room itself was just average, we decided to check out early rather than spend another night there. Next time, I’ll choose a Marriott or Hilton instead.

The facility, grounds and pools were lovely. We had some issues with check in and had to wait over an hour to get our rooms after 6 pm and then we had to wait to get into a restaurant for dinner. Not a good start for a family with small children.

Anthony at front desk was super gracious. Tye entire valet and front entrance staff are also wonderful. All cleaning staff was amazing and rooms are very clean We had a nice room on 5th floor with beautiful views. Self parking is easy. It’s a large priority so be ready to get your steps in when walking to and from Parking space - we liked getting our steps in. Velvet Joe staff is absolutely warm and wonderful and we loved getting our morning coffee and snack here. I had gone for work bit Ho early wouldn’t mind going back in a winter month with all my family again, just to relax for a week. The day we arrived they had difficulty getting our rooms ready and by 6:30 PM we did not have a room. The staff was very helpful getting us in two rooms but not what we had requested but close, but then our luggage got lost/taken to the wrong room. It was not a good start to the stay and then we had to wait a long time to get into a restaurant for dinner and get the food. The management on many levels were very concerned and did take care of us though. Waiting to get food at the restaurants always took a long time.

Husband and and I stayed for our 28th wedding anniversary. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. They hotel offered a few complimentary beverages and desserts as congratulations throughout our stay at the various on site resturants and bar. Our room was beautiful and spacious, very clean, and really exceeded our expectations. As part of our stay we enjoyed a day at Mokara spa which was relaxing and beautiful as well. We can't wait to come back.

This property was beautiful. Amazing facilities and gorgeous property but the food was pretty poor for being so high priced. Additionally, the layout made no sense and was difficult to navigate. Overall, it had its pros and cons.

The resort was beautiful the valet was great to work with and the service was wonderful customer service. All the workers were very nice and polite and the restaurant's food was so tasty The bartender was awesome and kept me and my husband laughing. .

The Omni showcases the Texas hillside views, with large windows in our room, fantastic breakfast, the overall property is delightful, and every hotel representative was very professional, attentive, and pleasant.

Loved that everything is 20-25 min away but you are in a secluded, nice neighborhood. Staff was very kind and accommodating. The pool was really nice and service great. I had a car so everything was easy to get to. Definitely be back for a golf weekend next time I’m in town.

Gorgeous view from heated infinity-edge pool. Great dining options for a weekend stay, we never left the resort. Great tennis courts and friendly staff at the tennis clubhouse. The only ding was at one restaurant, the hostess told us they were booked and didn't offer us a spot at the bar. Once I requested that, we had a wonderful meal at the bar.

Resort was beautiful and clean Despite being a guest, I was not able to get a booking for their best restaurant (Blind Salamander) or any establishment I wanted to attend for at least 2+ hours. This was over the course of 3 nights. That was really disappointing. This is a resort that is a decent drive from most things and their valet was honest enough to admit that taxis don't come to the resort. We waited an were refused an uber and lyft for a example. So if you want/ need (because you can't find anywhere for dinner) to go into the city, expect a 40USD trip. The fact I couldn't get into a restaurant for dinner until after 9.15pm each night was unacceptable and a huge damper on the experience. I wish I could review blind salamander but.... no luck, never got in. Either booked for a function or no availability.

Great property in the hill country. You can tell no detail was left out when planning this resort. Very beautiful location and not far from downtown Austin. Sometimes it was hard to believe that the city was nearby. I loved the multiple restaurant options and that the fare was being sourced locally with selections to cater to multiple dietary needs. Self-parking is great! Especially if you don't want to pay the crazy high valet price. To each their own. Jim Bob's Bar and Lounge was intimate and cozy; but the staff, although nice, could have been a little more attentive. The bartenders were multitasking and even seemed overwhelmed at times. Not sure if this is an every day occurrence or just because it was Valentine's/holiday weekend. The spa was amazing and will definitely be back for that! If we were staying longer we would also have hit up the fitness center too. Everything was top notch. Friendly and supportive staff as well. Trust me, that can be a deal breaker for many people. Will gladly return and recommend this place to others.

The people that work there are amazing!!! Kay Bonner who helps run things in front office to the best valet people EVER to the luggage help. They do the little things no other hotel does to make it an EXPERIENCE in the best way EVER!!! I’ve been a traveling salesman for 30 years and trust me they RULE!!!

What a beautiful location in the Austin hill countryside, where you can get a little quality downtime while still being close to the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Super friendly and helpful staff everywhere we went. GOOD breakfast buffet. Lovely lounging spots, from pools to spas to chairs by the firepits at night. Just overjoyed with this staycation. Also, free self-parking is so appreciated since most hotels gouge you that way. Country music in the shared areas is my only complaint.

This is a beautiful and expansive property. The kids loved the mini golf, nightly smores, pools, and the space to run and be kids! Our only struggle was that there are many different levels throughout the property (separated by many steps or sometimes 2-5 steps) so if traveling with a stroller, this may be tough, just fyi. Otherwise, excellent staff and service.

I stayed here over New Year's Eve and it was spectacular. They made it such a fun experience with unexpected snow (machine) to ring in the New Year, live music, s'mores around the fire pit and more! It was a special vacation for sure. Had a great meal at Bob's and at Crenshaws. Rooms were spacious and cozy and the grounds were beautiful. Furthermore, this hotel had the best guest service I've ever encountered. Every single employee went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Pilar Villeneuve at check in told me that I had two reservations showing up in the system but I didn't show that in my reservation. I was so concerned that I would get charged for another non-refundable room and she mentioned that she would fix it without any problem and wanted my stay to be stress and worry free. Christian the valet unloaded all my luggage which was waiting for me in my room by the time I arrived and Jeff happily helped me take my luggage back to the car when I left and offered me a bottle of water for the road trip. Our waitresses at Bob's Steakhouse and Crenshaws were also both exceptional. I'd highly recommend for a special getaway!

The property is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is older and shows its age(sheets have gotten scratchy, air hockey table no longer works) but is well maintained and our room was perfectly clean. We were disappointed that we requested a late checkout, called and confirmed it again with the front desk the morning of our departure, and then still found ourselves locked out of our room and having to show security our ID’s just to get in to be able to get our stuff to leave.

The property was simply beautiful—it was immaculately maintained, with awesome staff and a wonderful spa.

Upon arrival, the representative asked what brought us in, and I mentioned it was my birthday and that my husband and I had decided on a short getaway, driving in from Louisiana to Austin. To my surprise, he instantly upgraded us to a suite. The next morning, I ran into the same representative in the hallway, and he addressed me by name, asking if I had enjoyed my birthday. I was impressed that he remembered, especially with the number of guests staying at the resort and all the activity around us. That evening, while enjoying the Christmas activities, I had a brief but pleasant conversation with the events coordinator, Shelby. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up running into her 2-3 more times during our stay. Each time, she addressed us by name and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Later, when we were deciding on dinner, another representative we spoke to surprised us by comping a drink for both me and my husband. While complimentary perks are always nice, what truly impressed me was the consistent, personalized attention from every single staff member. Each person we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure that our stay would be memorable. Our valets, Colin and Tyler, were incredibly kind and attentive. A new standard has been set, It’s a place I will undoubtedly visit again for years to come.

It’s a simple hotel , rooms are very basic. It’s not at all a resort. Don’t go there if u want a resort like experience like other resorts in Texas.

My wife and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary and we had a very nice time at the resort.

Amazing place and food and service

The entire resort was very well-kept. My husband and I enjoyed our room, the spa, the fitness center, and the outdoor seating and walking areas. All the staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help with any questions or requests we had.

When visiting our daughter in Austin the Omni Barton Creek has been our go-to hotel choice for the last 3 years. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel amenities are excellent. The best recommendation I can give is that we keep returning when in Austin

I loved the views from the restaurants. They were absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop to our dinner. I also thought the drinks were really tasty. My husband loved his massage. I wish I would've known that many of the restaurants would not be open during the week. I tried to avoid a lot of people, but I may have chosen differently if I had known that. A lot of the pools/hot tub were also closed.

I brought my kids here for a work/family trip and we had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, the property is gorgeous, the staff at Omni hotels are always the most courteous and kind. It was perfect for our work/vacation. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!
