Reviews
The hotel's proximity to the airport is a significant advantage, and the staff is generally praised for their friendliness. However, the property's cleanliness and maintenance are consistently criticized, with multiple guests expressing dissatisfaction.
- Convenient location near the airport
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Poor cleanliness and maintenance
- Inconsistent service and amenities
- 2/5
The hotel was being renovated. So I will give them a break on that. But the first room they put us in was covered in ants they were everywhere. So the second room they moved us to the lock didn't work. Finally the third room was ok. They should probably inspect the finished rooms before they put them in use. Not much for breakfast. Again maybe it's because they were renovating?
- 1/5
Breakfast sucked, the whole hotel is under a very dirty renovation which I should’ve been informed upon booking to make the choice of booking
- 4/5
Upgrading the property always a plus
- 4/5
Alot of renovations. I'm sure it will be great..
- 1/5
I paid 130 dlrs for a cheap ass room even motel 6 was like a five start compared to del valley
- 5/5
Good spot, everything’s was so nice
- 2/5
Remodeling was being done , floors uneven , elevator not working. Door would not Lock , had to be moved to another room
- 2/5
Property under renovation, no hot water
- 1/5
It is the cheapest near the Austin airport, but you get what you pay for. It seems to be halfway under construction for a remodel and I was unsure if my room was the old version or the version.
- 1/5
They tried to give me another room but the ac did not work. As for breakfast old cereal. Just a very disappointing experience.
- 2/5
most of the hotel was under construction/ renovation which was not stated prior. there was no gym or workout room. construction vehicles and debris occupied a lot of the parking areas. breakfast was bagels, muffins, or the make your own waffle. they did not have any active staff working the breakfast or any protein options. the workers doing the renovation work remained at the hotel at nights in their vehicles and the two picnic tables outside the lobby. there was no swimming area open and that was also advertised. i believe the hotel needs more work completed and more staffing on duty to accommodate guests. its shocking to walk into the lobby of the hotel and the entire first floor and both emergency stairwells have been stripped. no carpet but still the exposed tack strips running across the floor in the stairwells. there needs to be major disclosures to any customers looking to book a stay there because there are major discrepancies between reality and what was advertised at booking.
- 1/5
The hotel is very close to freeway and super noisy
- 1/5
We arrived at 2:20 AM to find a hotel that looked completely abandoned. The lobby had construction materials for art and smelled strongly of fresh paint. It was clear the "renovations" were far from finished, despite the photos online. Our experience went from bad to worse through three different rooms: Room 1:No toilet paper, no towels, no sheets for the sofa bed, a broken phone that wouldn't connect to the front desk and the smell of fresh paint. Room 2: An adjoining door that couldn't locked because it was stuck shut with paint. Completely unsafe for me and my two young daughters. To make matters worse, we found crumpled-up toilet paper shoved between the sofa cushions. Room 3:Still no sheets or towels, and the paint fumes were overwhelming. When I complained for the third time, the receptionist admitted they had no other rooms. Instead of fixing the issue, they suggested I go elsewhere and cancel my reservation—at 3:00 AM. Avoid this place even after renovations are completely they don't clean their rooms.
- 5/5
It was ok
- 5/5
Even though the property is going through renovations, the floor I stayed on was completed and rooms were glorious
- 2/5
Clean room and wonderful staff, but no hot water in the room. The hotel is undergoing major renovations and much of it seems to be under construction. A worker was hammering late into the night on whatever he was working on, until maybe around 9 p.m.
- 3/5
It is under remodelation half of building is bare material
- 4/5
Under construction. Room was newly remodeled, but not done? TV had no signal, no hairdryer, no hangers, and bathtub/shower temperature sensor only allowed for lukewarm water.
- 1/5
First off, we were directed to a different hotel. Second, they said there was hotel parking for 8 dollers a day and there was no long term parking. Horrible! Under construction. Ghetto.
- 1/5
Hotel is in bad conditions, rooms without ac, old elevators, the food so poor
- 1/5
Unprofessional staff
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very pleased with night's staff was wonderful, the room was very clean and comfortable night attendant was extremely helpful thanks
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming and efficient. They explained they were under renovation. The rooms were all updated and very comfortable. Would stay again.
- 5/5
They are doing construction around the hotel, however the rooms are done. The beds were comfortable and room was nice and clean. Checking in and out was flawless. The convenience and staff keep us coming back.
- 4/5
We had to change rooms because the TV nor the Refrigerator worked.
- 2/5
Had to get the tv remote from the front desk. The remote turned the Tv on but wouldn’t change the channels or even turn it off, we had to unplug it. It sounded like they were doing construction on the place during the night so we didn't sleep well at all.
- 2/5
property under construction, dirty
- 3/5
TV service was terrible! No hot water
- 4/5
The room itself was clean - Tv did not work with the remote, Bathroom was clean and stocked.
- 1/5
HORRIBLE hotel. Bed FULL OF HAIR. SMELLY ROOM
- 3/5
Remodeled room was nice, breakfast was just ok and location was a little rough.
- 3/5
Friendly staff but you get what you pay for. Half the building was in renovation so take that as you will.
- 1.5/5
It was being renovated and I mean total renovation mess everywhere bad deal
- 1/5
This place was disgusting. We left and did not stay more than five minutes. We told the girl at the front desk and she left and did not come back. We need to be refunded for this as we did not stay the night and were not taken care of.
- 3/5
Rooms weee decent
- 1.5/5
The motel's website said there was a shuttle to the airport (what I needed)when I got there the front desk informed me that they don't offer a shuttle to the airport. Hed to send extra $20 on an Uber. The TV didn't work and only 1 light had a bulb.
- 1/5
The hotel is deep under construction and you can tell. It is cheap but a $65 Motel would have been preferred had we known the condition of the hotel.
- 4/5
The location was under renovation, at first when we arrived it didn’t look open, we thought it was the wrong location. The first room we were given had a moldy and unclean smell; they changed us to a better room after I explained what the room was like with first room. Staff was very accommodating.
- 5/5
Hotel is being renovated at the moment, service from staff was very good. The ladies cleaned and organized every day. Also they have the best price per night near the airport. Will stay again
- 1/5
This should not be listed on Expedia, it was so disgusting we had to leave and go someplace else. Then Expedia and the Poor Quality Inn wouldn’t give us any of our money back.
- 4/5
Under construction
- 0.5/5
Dirty, holes in walls, unsafe. I did not stay.
- 2/5
Under construction. Had a weird smell in the room
- 3/5
Room smelt moldy or musky. Accessibility not that great. Too much traffic!
- 3/5
Under construction
- 1/5
Pesimo hotel....
- 3/5
The hotel and staff were good. The facility itself was going thru a renovation that i had no idea about. In reality the facility and room served its purpose. It was a good experience.
- 5/5
Property is under construction and the ac was not working good
- 5/5
Good customer service excellent
- 1/5
I will never stay here again.
- 5/5
Excelente
- 2/5
Property was dirty, room was dirty. Bathtub faucet ran all night. I shut the bathroom door to drown out the sound and the door got stuck so I couldn’t use the bathroom. Got up early to leave to the airport and there were cockroaches on the walls.
- 2/5
The infrastructure is falling apart, windows broken, horrible conditions
- 2/5
I honestly want a refund! The fire alarm went off at 2:30ish AM, at 3 and at 3:30. All were false alarms
- 1/5
It showed that it's a pet friendly hotel on both Expedia and Google maps. On arrival the lady told me they are not pet friendly, and pointed out to a sign at the front deck that says no pets allowed. I called Expedia as I wanted to cancel the stay and look for a pet friendly hotel. They refused to allow a refund and said that we can pay $75 extra for our dog. Expedia phoned them and they then lowered the rate to $60 for our dog for the night. So we had to pay, or loose the accommodation that we already paid for. Once they have your card on file they will keep changing random charges to your card. The place is under construction, and it is a total mess. The carpets in the area not under construction look like they have never been washed before. The AC smells like mold, and it's probably never been serviced. The included breakfasts didn't exist. We went just after 8 am for breakfast and there was nothing. I went to the front desk and asked where's the breakfast. The lady told me that they don't have stock to replenish so only the first few people get to eat. Avoid this place at all costs.
- 1/5
Stains on rug in room and mold on the ceiling in the shower. No shuttle service to airport.
- 1/5
Renovations are happening with no notice , the entire 3rd floor reaked of construction and paint and the room had a horrific mildew smell that made us nauseous. There were workers coming up with planicrete and sheet rock and the place was wrapped in plastic and tape
- 5/5
All is ok
- 2/5
Property under construction
- 3/5
There wasn't anything I like about it
- 2/5
I was offered a room on the first floor upon entering the room, felt stuffy, moldy. The air was just not right. I complained and was told I could change the room the next day, but since I was out a lot, I decided to let it go till I couldn’t take it anymore three days later and was switched to a better room which didn’t have that wet, moldy smell. It was on the third floor, but the tiles in front of the elevator were broken. The hotel is currently being renovated. Second room was much better but the condition getting out of the elevator definitely wasn’t normal.
- 1/5
I didn't like anything. First our door to the room would not lock unless it was from the inside. The motel was under construction so it pretty much looked like a horror movie. I couldn't stay there so i left.
- 1/5
Everything
- 0.5/5
Receptionist English very poor, uncooperative and during the night there was no one at reception, only two cats walking on the counter. Half of the hotel was under construction. There weren't even disposable cups to take a coffee from breackfast
- 5/5
No
- 0.5/5
Old, in serious need of a remodeling ASAP but close it down while they remodel. Half of the hotel was closed to remodeling and there was no AC outside of room
- 3/5
Water was cold in the shower
- 0.5/5
Everything. I was triple charged. They were only supposed to charge the room plus $25 deposit. They charged me $150 when no damages were done and it was not smokied in if I could give zero Stars I would
- 0.5/5
crime ridden slumlord management and ownership
- 1/5
Pool water was brown. Most of weights missing from gym. Breakfast room not ready at posted time. Waffle maker broken. No spoons. Originally booked for 6 nights, left after 1. Hotel manager was very nice, though, and did her best to be accommodating
- 2/5
Broken luggage trolley
- 3/5
Overall, it's a cheap place to sleep. You get what you pay for. But a few things are worth noting, because based on the pictures I wasn't fully expecting the disrepair: The parking lot is blocked on the side street entrance (which my GPS did not realize), so you can only enter from the one-way highway. Surprisingly annoying to get to in the dark, as a tourist, only minutes from the airport. The lobby pictures must be from another era, as the Texas star is the only accurately depicted feature. The whole place has a dilapidated feel. The front door sensor is faulty. The elevator feels like it could break at any moment. And lastly, there was a strange open electric motherboard thing mounted near the ceiling in the corner of my room that was for sure NOT the fire alarm. Still don't know what that was, but ignorance is bliss. I traveled alone as a small woman, and felt safe enough here. No bugs in sight, and staff was professional. Just want people to know what they're getting when they book here, because the pictures felt slightly misleading.
- 1/5
Property was under heavy construction and seemed like it was in an unsafe condition. We chose a different hotel for the two nights - but the Quality Inn refused to refund our money for the two nights.
- 4/5
Solid place to stay if you need sleeping quarters. Not for hanging out. Staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean. It provided the essentials for an overnight stay after a long day of traveling. Continental breakfast was very limited. Hotel common areas need some repair & updating.
- 4/5
Convenient location.
- 1/5
Horrible experience. Front desk was kind but the hotel is obviously in shambles. AC broken, key cards didn’t work, trash on floor and in hallways, supply closets open, doors look beat in, stains on walls, overhead lights out, smells funny. My wife and I were bamboozled by the pictures and left after 20 minutes. Absolutely don’t stay here unless you are in dire straits.
- 4/5
Maybe the property is going through some repairs or remodel. Ive stayed here before, but this time it felt different and the parking light did not have any lighting
- 1/5
This property is horrible. The first room we had the TV did not work. The shower did not work tiles were broken in the bathroom. It was horrible. They found us another room which was slightly better, but the entire property is rundown. There’s actually a door on a hotel room on the first floor made of plywood
- 1/5
You get what you pay for I litrally only spent 1 night out of 3 cause in the middle of the day after the first night I found a bed bug in my bed also it smells really weird in the hotel itself it was a hassle to get set up with a new place i had to jump through hoops to get a proper refund from Expedia to get a new place which could only be there credit system just be careful booking here it also has a lot of homeless people wandering around.
- 2/5
Outdated. Smells pee by the elevator. Smelly room. Loud noise from outside
- 1/5
Dirty
- 2/5
Room smelled, room didn't look like it was vacuumed. Security was lacking was walking my dogs a guy approached me from the bushes and blocked my way back in. Grounds are in terrible shape. You are RIGHT on the highway. Very loud traffic noise in the rooms. AC was barely working and room was stuffy.
- 1/5
Hotel room and hotel is a mess. Room door is broken and toilet is wobble. The worst hotel ever.
- 5/5
Good option for my commute to work
- 1/5
Room was super dirty I don’t recommend to anyone if the rest of the rooms are in the same condition
- 2/5
This property is unclean and does not have the minimum expected amenities in the room. The fitness room was inadequate.
- 1/5
The entire hotel is extremely run down, the rooms smell terrible, and the deterioration is noticeable from the moment you step into the establishment!
- 2/5
We booked this hotel for a planned overnight stay after a late flight. Upon arriving, there were several squad cars in the littered parking lot due to a domestic, signs on the front doors because they frequently don't work and peeling paint and broken tiles in the halls and old elevator. The room had broken tiles in the shower, damaged furniture and tiny TVs. Thankfully, front desk service and room cleanliness were much better than the maintenance of the hotel and rooms. The free breakfast was minimal, with DIY waffles and otherwise grab and go items, most of which were gone by 8:30am.
- 2/5
The Breakfast is horrible.
- 4/5
Old hotel, cheap and adequate stay for a night stay close to Austin airport. Everything was dated, staff was friendly.
- 2/5
Property is in need of maintenance repairs. Shower curtain rod is almost off the wall and the ac didn’t cool. The cosmetics of the inside of the hotel were rough.
- 3/5
No remote control the whole time I was there they keep saying I will have one the next day the never got it
- 4/5
The room was clean and the property was convenient to where I needed to be the following morning .
- 1/5
They sure can take some good pictures, smells like cat urine as soon as stepping off elevator onto floor, very sketchy area, very sketchy people all around, cops constantly in and out of parking lot, seemingly looking for people, no food close, everything was broken all over the place, broken tiles everywhere, the third floors actual floor felt like it was going to fall in, construction stuff everywhere, really wish I could get my money back from this stay. Did not enjoy.
- 1/5
NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE. The hotel advertised a hotel shuttle. When we arrived, we tried to schedule the shuttle, and we were told they have not had one for years. Front desk people were disorganized, short when asked questions, and somewhat rude.
- 1/5
The parking lot didn't feel safe and it got worse from there. The bed felt like it was mostly box spring. But it was super close to the airport so there is that
- 3/5
The headboard was damaged and crooked on the wall. The shower nozzle was loose and the water sprayed everywhere but within the shower. I was surprised to be charged for a deposit on a room that was already in such need of repair.
- 3/5
Straightforward no nonsense hotel where the price meets quality.
- 1/5
Absolutely no hot water and the heater didn’t work. I was told ‘because I booked with Expedia, I couldn’t get a refund or discount’
- 4/5
Breakfast was lacking but the stay was sweet
- 1/5
Tattered and didn’t seem very clean. Otherwise fine.
- 5/5
Everything was good left all my tools on my truck came out in the morning they were all still there
- 1/5
Hotel is old and run down Continental breakfast was non existent. Stay away if possible.
- 1/5
Due to the weather, my business I was there for was canceled two days before my checkout day hotel manager refused to give me credit for even one day
- 3/5
The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy and not comfortable.
- 1/5
Booked because it was listed as having airport shuttle service and the did not. No compensation for the additional expense to get to the hotel. The worst part is it doesn't appear as if they are trying to fix the listing.
- 4/5
I stay here frequently and recommend.
- 2/5
I did not feel safe, limited breakfast and the TV in room did not have a good quality picture.
- 1/5
Dangerous. Blood on towels and coakroaches
- 2/5
The charged me more that the website showed.
- 4/5
Pleasant front desk staff, and my room was right down the hall. Expansive area for continental breakfast each morning. The Wifi, however, was poor and could not maintain a signal. Had to use my phone's hotspot.
- 0.5/5
Worst hotel I’ve ever walked into. Please remove them from your site.
- 2/5
Arrived near midnight. Missed the parking lot so it was very difficult to get back to the hotel since it is on a one-way street. Seemed very isolated with empty lots nearby. Window in room was too dirty to look out. Popcorn ceilings, old carpet and furniture. Mattresses were very worn. Did not stay for breakfast as we had an early flight. Positive not is it was only minutes from airport.
- 2/5
I booked last minute because our VRBO got canceled the day of. After booking i saw the reviews and was scared, but too late to cancel. defiantly wouldn't stay here again. The beds were good. when we opened the sofa bed, there was rat droppings. Our comforter had a blood stain. The place just needs a good cleaning. The staff was very nice. They had security watching the place which was good. The towels were clean. no hot water in one of our rooms. The door to our room looked like it was broken into many times before.
- 3/5
The hotel looked unfinished floors, walls trimming. The AC did not blow cold and the room smelled.
- 4/5
Good budget hotel for the area.
- 4/5
Ffc
- 2/5
The first entrance i came across was blocked off with a chain link fence causing me to reroute several miles. After getting to my room the first thing that catches my attention is the heavy smell of mildew then i realized the door isnt latching behind me. The secondary safety latch was broken halfway down the arm which showed obvious signs of attempted forced entry. I then requested another room which was in the same condition as the first except the door actually latched. The secondary lock showed obvious signs of forced entry as well. I ended up sleeping on a friends couch due to concern of safety.
- 1/5
They put shuttle to the airport they don’t have shuttle to the airport very bad place I will never state here any more
- 1/5
This hotel does not have shuttle service. There was a distinctive odor and the room had old furniture and wall plugs that did not work. Some of the lamps also did not work. The breakfast was not enough for $120 stay. I am disappointed!
- 3/5
Overall not bad, but old and outdated. Pool advertised is dry, cracked, and broken. Conveniently located across from the airport. Breakfast was included
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 2/5
The property was dirty and unkempt. I felt unsafe walking from the parking to the lobby. Lots of homeless people wandering around
- 5/5
Great place to stay... Highly recommended...
- 5/5
Great location. Needs exterior updated
- 1/5
This hotel was just bad, my smoke detector was wrapped in plastic wrap so it wouldn't work, broken doors, bad smell. Not well maintained at all, friendly staff though.
- 2/5
There were bugs in the bathroom. There was a chlorine and musty scent in the room. The walls in the hallways were dirty.
- 1/5
Room smelled terrible. Zero hot water. Luke warm was as good as it got. Whole facility looks old and dirty. Gym had treadmill and something supposed to be a bike and 6 dumbbells all over 40 lbs. Breakfast was a joke, very limited and yogurt waa expired. Housekeeping was inconsistent. One day they gave us just towels. One day they made the bed. The next day they took all of our shampoo and soap. Was not worth the premium price I paid. Price gouged for sure to take advatange of big event weekend. Hotel not worth $50 a night. Do Not stay here!!!
- 1/5
Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. We left early due to the mold in the room. It made the smell god awful. Son and I had terrible time breathing due to allergies from it. Lights and signs outside the property did not work so it was difficult to find at night. Would not wish any one else to stay here
- 3/5
Surge pricing a rip off
- 0.5/5
Hotel was unsafe Homeless people in parking lot Room adjacent vandalized No airport shuttle as advertised
- 1/5
Expedia should not list this property. I have photographs of broken down doors. Rooms are moldy and have a terrible smell. I actually went and booked another hotel. Have the receipts to prove it
- 2/5
Room had an off putting stale smell, one of lights didnt work, toilet continually ran making constant noise. Shower drain was full of hair and sink drained very slow. Guessing maintenance is lacking and on a pennny pinching budget...but you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Mildew smell, outdated appliances, walls are very dirty. Staff was super friendly!
- 4/5
Pretty clean, no complaints
- 4/5
Very dark parking area. Every day our key reset and we had to go back downstairs to get the key to work. Limited dining options in the area. Not terrible for the price.
- 1/5
When all you serve for breakfast is waffles and dry cereal there is no reason to shut the doors 5 minutes before closing. There was anything left anyway. Very poor excuse for any hotel. I would remove them from even being allowed to get a room thru Expedia. Do not recommend
- 4/5
Worked well for us.
- 4/5
No shuttle service to the airport is a major inconvenience. Everything else was fine
- 3/5
You can tell the property is old and outdated, but was close to the airport and worked for the price.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Very pleased. Breakfast was a pleaser. We booked the last room available which had a queen. Husband is tall though and he kept hitting his head on the bed post thing. Next time we will plan ahead and opt for the bigger room/bed.
- 2/5
Bare minimum:fridge freezer frosted completely up. No trash can in bathroom. No coffee maker or any amenities in the room. Am breakfast was lacking and appears the front desk clerk warms the breakfast attendant. Would not stay there again even for the value.
- 2/5
This hotel has definitely seen better days. The main positives were a comfortable bed and air conditioning. But although our room was clean, the rest of the building was dirty and run down. Breakfast was very limited and on our second morning they ran out of waffle batter. The swimming pool is out of service, weed infested, and what little water there was had turned into a swamp! The access to the hotel is almost impossible to find (GPS takes you to their back gate which is locked. I did not expect luxury or anything fancy but the "rating" was seriously inflated ("excellent" on the website). I don't thnk it was worth the price we paid for our two night stay.
- 2/5
It was ok for the price. Key didn’t work. I pay for 2 night, the first night the key wasn’t working they gave me another one. Second day and key stop working went to check and I wasn’t on the system. Supposedly it showed that I didn’t show up the night before, when I had paid. Had me waiting almost 30 minutes before they resolved the problem. False advertising the pool wasn’t working.
- 1/5
Next dsy still no housekeeping and all the same. I asked again, and got same response no one until tomorrow.. I said I leave tomorrow. Suddenly someone came changed coffeemaker and fixed tv. By now I was so upset. At breakfast no waffle mix. It was bad I tell you, bad. Would not recommend.
- 1/5
Everything is to old and some night staff were a little crazy!
- 2/5
Old towels. AC wasn’t working properly. Never again!!
- 1/5
We walked in.. and I walked out no longer than 5 minutes later. The pictures do NOT match the website. This place is sketchy and smells… the elevator barely works. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else for the same price
- 0.5/5
Keep charging $93
- 1/5
The swimming pool was dirty with green standings water. The girl at the front desk was rude and the required deposit was inconsistent the night said cash out card the day shift said card only... The hotel smells old
- 1/5
List my I phone $1,500 from my room
- 2/5
Car with a broken window right by the front door made me feel unsafe. Trash all through the halls and loud music coming out of several room. The room I received had little flies dive bombing you and the door looked as if it was kicked in at one time.
