Heywood Hotel

Parking was easy and great restaurants nearby. The property itself felt safe but I would drive in the neighborhood. Especially at night. We walked and wished we had driven. We're from Portland OR. So to say we didn't feel great says something. But with that change I would totally stay again. Staff was amazing and accommodating and the property was beautiful and very comfortable.

The staff at Heywood Hotel were very friendly! They gave us a ton of recommendations of stuff to do and where to eat. The Heywood is very conveniently located too.

The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex.

The Heywood was impeccably decorated. Customer service was perfection. My room was clean, easy to get to, private, and had everything I needed. Plus, they had custom touches… my name on my snack basket, a note from the staff, a tiny chocolates. I can’t wait to return!

We stayed for two nights. The king patio room is spacious and comfortable. The bath tub is a very nice feature with a skylight. If you want a romantic room, this is it. There’s a small but intimate patio for two right outside the door with a privacy gate. The staff was amazing and immediately contacted us prior to our stay to see if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable. Jayde was an amazing hostess and went above and beyond our expectations.we will definitely return to this beautiful boutique hotel in the near future. I highly recommend it.

Nice bed, fantastic shower, spacious room, quiet AC, good coffee. Super fast wifi, I measured 100mb down and 25mb up. No workout room but you can walk to the trail at Lady Bird Lake in about 10 min. No breakfast.

Unique place to stay at a great price in popular East Austin. 7 rooms, very friendly and personal service, felt Covid safe (they went to a lot of effort to keep things clean and accessible with limited interaction).

Maris checked me in early and she was amazing! I arrived before 11am and my room was not ready yet, so I asked for lunch place recommendations. I took her advice and walked to Lou’s Bodega. It was perfect as I was looking for something healthy after a long flight. While I was getting lunch, I received a text from Maris that my room was ready, So after lunch I walked back and settled in. Maris included all my request in the refrigerator and the room was lovdly. I love a boutique hotel and this one was outstanding! I’d love to come back! Highly recommend

Amazing experience! Room was clean, staff was very welcoming and nice, area was great for a weekend getaway with my husband. We were greeted with a hand written note and a complementary local brew! Super sweet touch!

We really enjoyed our stay. It's an absolutely charming property. Lots of attention to detail and attentive customer service. Close to lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Plus, easy to get to main attractions from. Also, they have hybrid (not clunky cruiser) bikes available with helmets and lights that are perfect for exploring.

The staff is extremely lovely and helpful. Hotel is very pretty and well run. My only complaint is that I did not have a dresser to put my clothes.

The architecture of the guests rooms was very modern as it was an addition off the back of the 1920s bungalow. The neighborhood is up-amd-comming and very clise to the ever popular South Congress.

This boutique hotel is very near downtown, cycle path and innumerable restaurants and nightlife. They have a collection of good bicycles included and we rode extensively, first the lake/river bike path and then all over downtown which is vibrant. There are some street bike paths but not everywhere but nevertheless we felt quite safe. The hotel is also walkable to downtown if you are vigorous. The neighbourhood is eclectic but feels very safe. The hotel is an interesting architectural work of fusion of old and new and our room was perfect.

The bathroom was spacious, well-lot, and clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure and an amazing rain shower head. Our only complaint was the incredibly firm pillows on an otherwise comfortable bed. The staff members were warm and welcoming, ready with suggestions of nearby watering holes and taco trucks to try (an Austin must). The neighborhood is thriving, with a ton of cute and trendy bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely book this hotel again!

This is a GREAT boutique hotel; I wish there was a Heywood at every one of my vacation destinations!! This was our first time to Austin. The suite was very quiet, private, clean, and comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to all the main attractions, and the staff was Awesome!!...very knowledgeable and friendly! Honestly, I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in Austin! Very pleased, thank you!! :)

This place was amazing! The property is beautiful and modern. I had a room that had it's own private patio which was wonderful. The room itself was great; the bed was very comfortable, the decor was beautiful, and the shower was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for cocktails and food, all of which was in walking distance! I'm still daydreaming about my stay there. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
