Small boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Austin. Great restaurant on the bottom floor. Bikes for rent. Pay a little extra for the room with a view. Well worth it.

Also, pool was closed early for private event. The lobby and parking garage smelled of sewage and the AC was out on the first floor. Front desk staff was friendly. Earplugs, noise machine and sleep patches were provided to ease the noise but little help.

This is a great place to stay if you are partying on 6th street. Horrible if you want to sleep before 2am.

Our room feltl a little dingy. And although I was aware of it, the parking fee is exorbitant. There is plenty of other public parking that will cost you a third to half the price of Hilton's charge.

Smelled like a hot fart 💩 in the hallway and elevator. Pool was great, but, there was trash everywhere and there were no towels. Thermostat in room didn’t work properly.

Great little hotel, almost ruined by the elevator banging night and day, echoing in my room. The nearby club noise didn't bother us at all. It was the clanging elevator.

Everything was clean and the staff was extremely nice and very polite. The gym was good the pool was nice. Only complaint would be the parking. But it’s Austin so you have to expect to pay premium for parking. Overall I would stay here again.

I told the person at front desk that you can't even read the numbers on the t- stat. It looks damaged. (Probably from the last person in the room pushing on it to get it to work.) Front desk offered a fan but o was already trying to sleep. How does a motion sensor work when you lying in bed? Pretty aggravating.

My longtime best friend and I met in Austin for a reunion and catch up weekend and chose the Canopy on 6th. We wanted to watch the nightlife while visiting without having to actually walk down on the streets below. We felt a part of the action but were safely above it with a cool drink in our hands. The room was very comfortable and room service was superb! The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and our cars were safely parked below. It was great!

Clean, large room! On site restaurant was delicious. In great area to walk to many restaurants. Noisy bar next door but they provide ear plugs & sound machines, so easily drowned out the music.

I can not say enough about the property staff especially the front desk! both were pleasant and very helpful when I misplaced my phone. The lounge has the coolest vibe and the food is delicious! I will definitely plan my stay at the Canopy when I return to Austin

Nice hotel but noise level from adjacent bars are really bad. You can hear loud music until 2am and it was hard to sleep.

Every aspect met my needs

Room was perfect. Great location. Walking distance from a dozen nice bar/grills, and nice restaurants.

We love the clean urban rooms and patios , our favorite place to hangout is by the pool area on the tables looking down at all the interesting characters on 6th street . We just wish that area would stay open past 10pm . But overall , we always have a great time here and love all the walkable spots . Can’t wait to get a balcony room facing 6th!

Loved the courtyard and pool area. Really nice to be able to relax there. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the little touches like white noise and sleeping tea etc. The breakfast wasn't good, food overall average. Shame the transfer lounge which has shower was OOO. Would be great for late flights.

*The hotel is located on 6th Street, so if you’re a light sleeper, keep that in mind. We slept great. The hotel provides earplugs, tea, and a white noise machine.

We had a suite with a balcony which was nice but quite expensive and the parking was expensive. The music blaring until 2am from the bars across the street was terrible. Not possible to sleep even with the white noise device they provided and ear plugs. We had no idea it would be that bad. The parking was $54 a night which made a 3 night stay with little sleep very expensive.

I like the location and how walkable the area was. I liked the staff, who were all very friendly and professional. Housekeeping was spotty. I stayed for two weeks, with the July 4th in between. I was so suspicious of the towels and cleaning during the first week that I brought my own towels the second week and only elected to have housekeeping come in once. It wasn’t that they were terrible. But they would leave things they shouldn’t, forget to replace things they should (like the little mat for getting out the shower), and on at least one occasion I used a towel that had been washed and saw right after using, that someone else’s hair was on it! That’s what gave me the ick. I do realize that it happens, but I was put off by it.

It was the best hotel at which I’ve ever stayed. I’m fearful of writing such a good review that it will become swamped and I won’t be able to stay there again. The rooms are lovely, the food is good, but it’s the staff who make the difference. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Friday night at 1:30 in the morning, hotel guest a few doors down were have a horrific, loud, screaming fight, that was terrifying to hear. I usually don't even mention something like these things, but the fight made me really uncomfortable, as it felt it could be not only abusive verbally but maybe even violent.

Everyone on staff was wonderful, and went beyond their position to make us feel welcome. The reality is that your location is next to a loud bar. I appreciate that you provide ear plugs, and I will accept the tradeoff of being close to downtown in exchange for loud noises from the bar and from the garbage trucks. But I expect that I am the minority, and I wish I had known of these before I had booked. I was happy with my stay. But you should understand why I will never book here again. You did everything right, but the noise beat you.

This hotel is in a perfect location for enjoying the nightlife in Austin. The staff were extremely friendly and generous, and the rooms were very reasonably priced. Another great bonus is the on-site Verbena Restaurant which has a beautiful patio and the food was excellent. There’s also a really nice pool that overlooks the Austin skyline, which made for a perfect way to relax after a busy day at ACL. To top it all off, the hotel is dog-friendly, so my dog Teddy had a wonderful stay too!

Don’t expect “hello” or “goodmorning”. Staff is not friendly at all. No bell service. Valet took a long time to deliver the car while you pay over 60bucks a day for parking. Overpriced.

I didn’t think about the loud music on Friday and Saturday nights but the hotel staff was very helpful upon check in with solutions to assist.

The hotel is right off sixth Street but feels very private and secluded its acute point hotel the service staff housekeeping and front desk were amazing very accommodating. The cleanliness was very good if I come back to Austin, I would definitely stay again or recommend this place.

I was really hoping for some relaxation by the pool but Hotels.com failed to relay that the pool is NOT exclusive to Hotel Guests. I was extremely disappointed to find that the pool are was over-crowded, stuffy, nasty looking and feeling from all the bodies and people smoking - Not only was the space really small and crowded, but there was also a DJ - this was definitely a party pool and not the exclusive leisure experience I was looking for. I definitely have not been happy with this experience. I will not be using this site ever again.

Best part about this hotel was the restaurant and the front desk staff. The overall hotel room wasn’t great. Broken toilets (neighbors had the same issue), sink didn’t drain, housekeeping didn’t come until 4pm, and shower didn’t drain. The area was ok and pretty close to downtown just not the vibe that they claim in the area.

Canopy Hotels are very ecological sensitive. They are clean and never ostentatious but quietly elegant. We weren't crazy about the $54 per night parking charge but that is common in downtown Austin.

The stat was good,until night time. There was a club in the back where my room was. I had to wait until after 2 am to sleep,other than that it was great.

It was very convenient for a meeting I was attending in Austin. Prices were reasonable, however the additional $54 valet parking per day was not as reasonable. It would be great if your website states clearly that you can use the valet to park in the garage or find parking elsewhere. Also, it would be good to block some of the sound from the bar/dance music next door (room 223). The breakfast was delicious and Dawn was wonderful and attentive.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean and the lobby / restaurant was a great area to set up and work. It's right on a main drag of the popular 6th Street so I'd account for that heading into weekends but if you're looking to get out, it's a perfect place to stay. Only knock I had is one of the elevators was making a bunch of noise and bothered me in my room but I asked to switch rooms which they accommodated.

I travel quite a bit, and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The location and amenities were great. Our room was also very clean and well kept up. If you’re staying in Austin, I would definitely book this hotel.

Saturday night was very very loud!!!!!! Until 2AM. We were not able to sleep. Otherwise lived the place.

Property has a urine smell throughout the 3rd and 6th floor. Carpets in room need to be updated. No matter how loud we turned up the noise cancellation, could still not tune out 6th street at 3am.

This stay was absolutely amazing! For the price and location, if you have plans to drink it is worth it. We were offered melatonin strips, ear plugs and a sound machine was already in the room. The staff was super helpful and very attentive. If you have no intentions of staying up late with the other 6th streeters then I wouldn't recommend staying here but only because it will be extremely hard to sleep. The music from the streets ca be heard clearly from your room and there is no way to avoid it. For the price and location this is a great stay.

We booked this last minute and it was the perfect location. The hotel it’s very nice. I love the concept of it. The pool area. Everything was just perfect about it and I truly enjoyed my stay. I would rebook in a heartbeat.

This property was so nice as soon as we walked in we checked in. They gave us a complimentary guac and chips and offered us sparking wine. The room was so comfortable and so clean. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Great property in downtown Austin!

The postmodern industrial interior design was appealing. Made the hotel feel clean, comfortable and secure. The beds were comfortable and large. At least my corner room was. It was also very quiet inside, which was fantastic for someone traveling on business. The staff was pleasant and helpful. And gave you a nice treat at check in as a Hilton Honors member. Great spot to stay at, within a walk to local areas pf business.

Great staff and customer service! We were worried about the noise due to being on the 6th street, but the front desk staff was able to get us a room not facing the 6th street and this worked out perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

We were here for a wedding. The staff was fantastic. Valet parking brought my car up quickly every time. The service in the restaurant was timely and very accommodating. The room was well thought out. The only negative was the street noise. We were on the second floor. If we stay there again, we will request a room on a higher floor. The location was in the middle of everything; hence the noise. But it made things walkable.

Loved the welcome champagne at arrival and chocolate chip cookies too! Staff were super helpful and property was modern and clean. Encountered poor cell service inside the hotel but otherwise was top notch.

This is a great property that is thoughtfully designed with a very nice and accommodating staff. We’ve stayed here a few times and rooms near 6th street can be pretty noisy late into the night. The hotel provides ear plugs but if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room overlooking the courtyard. Those are much quieter. The area is fun and near good shops and restaurants. Try dinner at the hotel restaurant, Verbena, if you can. It was a great and a pleasant surprise.

Great hotel. I’d stay here again for sure. Beware of noisiness in 6th street. Don’t splurge on a balcony. Ours was interior and share with other rooms. Otherwise, perfection!

Loud neighbor hood

Nice hotel in a fun location. Loved the room and bathroom/dressing area layout. Cool decor, cozy furnishings. Lots of counter space and shelf storage in the bathroom. Great views. Filtered water available on every floor. Book room that doesn’t face 6th street if you want quiet time in the evening.

Small things but worth noting: Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower were charcoal based but did not smell very good. Did not have but two creamers for coffee creamer even though there were 6 pods… Overall good experience though!

Great hotel with good location, loved the happy hour cookies, drinks and snacks in the lobby. Stayed on the 6th floor and the music from the clubs next door was loud until 2am on weekends. The room did have a noise machine and ear plugs which helped a little.

The hotel staff went above and beyond with hospitality and kindness. It is a beautiful hotel with cute, unique touches. Complimentary sparkling wine was served until 9 pm and there was a free tasting hour hosted in the lobby by the attached restaurant. The room was comfy! Earplugs, chamomile tea, and a sound machine were thoughtful and nice touches for a restful night's sleep. I would definitely stay there again.

A nice spot! Interior & patio design were attractive. Restaurant menu was… overpriced and under delicious. Would stay again, but eat elsewhere.

If you don’t mind to party every night, it is a very good place to stay. We used to travel with our pets for ACL and it was a very nice place to stay. They provide earplugs and sleep gums if you have troubles to sleep with all the party people around.
