    The staff was excellent! The property itself, and our room in particular, had a damp, musty smell to it. Our room smelled like a swimming pool, or damp earth. There were only two towels in the bathroom. The office chair was peeling and cracked. The hallway had some broken doors, peeling paint, etc. it wasn’t an unpleasant stay, but we won’t be returning in the future.

    Rooms are outdated and not very clean. The hotel double booked because of mistake they made with hotels.com and made me pay for it. The only good thing about this place is the location is decent to Texas Ranger Stadium at Six Flags I will not stay here again.

    The hotel was in a good spot to be around all the parks and attractions. The room was very clean and nice with the balcony looking out towards six flags.     This was the first time I’ve seen a janky Doubletree. The room was nice at first glance, but rusty around the edges, showing age, half-a$$ maintence practices, like missing drywayy around a wall outlet, looked like a ghetto landlord special. On the upside, staff persons were pleasant and the famous cookie was wonderful and didn’t disappoint. (That cookie is why I chose Doubletree out of the may options. This is the first time the cookie led me to a rundown-looking hotel.)

    I had a very disappointing stay. The outlets in the room didn’t work, which made it difficult to charge any devices. The AC unit was leaking water onto the floor and left the room smelling unpleasant. On top of that, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt overly worn, like it had seen far too much use. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained and not worth the stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

    We checked in late. Booked a king room with balcony. Had to switch rooms at 130am. The toilet don’t flush. The shower head was falling off. The room was not very clean. I was really upset that our room wasn’t to a check in standard. When we switched rooms. I got downgraded to a double bed room. No balcony and got a bathtub instead of glass shower. The room had a beeping sound coming out of the outlet. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. And we had to put pillows over the outlet. The whole hotel smelled like pot. This hotel does not live up to the Hilton standards at all. I was told the property manager would be contacting me for a refund on the downgrade and that never happened

    The single elevator they have was extremely slow. The room was dated and needed re-caulking and maybe new shower tiling because it has broken sections. The lighting was maybe the worst part. Cold bright lights that make me feel like I’m in a hospital. Disappointing as Hilton is usually not too bad.

    We stayed 5 days and had to extend a day because of the Michigan blizzard. I asked for another bottle and the front desk said, "They said they only provide 2 bottles of water per stay." So I had to pay $3.00 for another one. On the plus side? They were in the process of replacing the TV's with new 52 inch (or larger?) TV's.

I think we just had bad luck that our room had a smelly odor. They sent housekeeping to the room but it did not fix the issue.     Location Smell was smoky or burnt popcorn. Woke up to musty damp smell. Thin walls, could hear everyone in hall all night. Felt dirty and run down. First room had a toilet issue and we had to be moved. Bathroom had rust in bathtub. Had to wait 5+ minutes for elevator as only one worked. Used hot stairs most day but was on 5 floor.

    After check in I latched door Thankfully! Then hopped into shower. As I am drying off the door opens & slams into the security latch. I run to door to see a young man walking away. I say hello? He says oh Sorry and walks away. Unnerved that keycards work on more than one room. Then a few hours later several herds of elephants ran up & down the hallway. Unaccompanied teens. Some Christian Youth Group with obviously not enough supervision or chaperones. At 1 am my room phone rings. Awakened but ignored it. Then a second time,on third time I’m under 20 mins my mom brain went maybe it’s front desk or a hotel emergency? Answer Hello to be hung up on. I left it off the hook laying on the table. Alarm went off at 5am. After barely falling back to sleep I reluctantly got on with my packing to get out of this nightmare. I will say the room was clean,bed was comfortable water pressure in shower was good and if not for the key lock card,random room calls in middle of the night & unsupervised heathens this might have been a great resting place on my trip. I drove to my next destination and collapsed from sheer exhaustion. Thankful for early check-in at different hotel & much needed nap to get the desperately needed rest I did not get the night before.

    One of my favorite hotels. It's huge but the parking lot is small and not so good! They need to designate spots for hotel reservations and those going to conferences. Otherwise you have to park super far and it's not well lit. That's the only downside really.

    The pictures of this property are deceptive. When we arrived the outside smelled like burning trash. The hotel lobby was even more deceptive as that’s is the only place in the hotel that looks nice. The hallway smelled of mildew and the rooms smelled the same as if it is no ventilation. The headboards had rips in them and the lamps were broken and leaning. There were no ventilation in the bathrooms and there was no hot water in the shower. None of the plug outlets worked in the room to charge phones. I paid $200 a night for this room and would like a refund! Horrible experience!

    Very clean, with friendly staff. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, we were visiting on the weekend for a Cowboys game! The stadium is about 8 mins away. We didn’t have breakfast while staying at the property so can’t comment on that but the lounge experience was great! My only complaint was the loud constant humming noise in our room. Otherwise definitely recommend the Doubletree.

    Room was decent. Check in was easy. They have some dude in plain clothes running around pretending to be security. He’s very rude. He flipped out when I parked under the overhand so we could carry bags in at check in. Said it’s a no parking zone. However, his busted up car sat parked there all night. Might not want to get your “security” staff from the hood. He smelled of marijuana badly. This was our second time staying there. It will likely be our last. Honestly I felt less safe with him there. He was a rude, cocky jerk that chose cussing at me instead of communicating.

    Room was nice, clean, facilities a little dated. Staff was top notch, very helpful. Only major complaint was the bar/restraint card reader was broken for the duration of my stay, so it was either cash or room charge, which presents an issue if you’re there for work, so I ended up having to spend $5 extra to get cash out of the ATM. Small gripe, but an issue nonetheless.

    The lobby area was clean and nicely decorated. Very nice bar area and we had a clean comfortable room. The favorite part of my trip was the front desk attendant, Pamela. She initially greeted us with a very friendly hello and brief conversation, thanked my 90 year old Navy Veteran father for his service and felt more like a friend than an employee at a business. Every morning and afternoon we were greeted with big smiles and genuine interest in our daily plans and then how our day was. I looked forward to seeing her everyday and sharing friendly conversation. She is a true gem and such an asset to your business. Thank you Pamela! We will miss you! - Laura M.

    The hotel was average. The hotel breakfast was very expensive. Our room looked out onto a brick wall. The room was very damp. I assume someone was wrong because there was a high powered fan on in the hallway outside our room for most of weekend. We also got stuck going down for flights of stairs in the morning because the elevator doors had been blocked open to dry after being cleaned. Thankfully everyone in our party was capable of going down the stairs. Overall, not a horrible stay, but not great.

    Room was super clean. We did request cleaning service each day. The first day they didn’t came until we went up to the front desk and asked. The 2nd day they didn’t come again, so that wasn’t great. The breakfast was $16/person, so we just went to Cracker Barrel next door. My husband left two jeans and a top, all brand new, I. The room closet when we left. They were able to find and ship it back to us which was great. Inside of the hotel is nicely decorated, bar is great, and the food there was excellent!

    The room was OK I must admit. We went for a football game on a Sunday night, and we were told that the restaurant would stay open till 11 PM. That is why we stayed at this hotel. When we got back to the hotel, the restaurant was closed about 75% with only one bartender working and one person in the back cooking. We ordered our food at 7:30 and got our food at 9:15. When we went up to our room, frustrated after waiting so long we realize that the pizza was still doughy and the wings were not seasoned whatsoever. It cost us over $60 to get this food and we couldn't even dine in. They made us take it to go. It was the worst hotel and I would not recommend staying here, especially if you're going to an NFL game.

    The room was fine other than the shower dripping all night. There was hot water when we arrived Saturday, but there was no hot water Sunday morning and when we returned from the Cowboys game, there still wasn't until about 40 minutes later. We went to the bar to watch more games, had a drink, billed it to the room. There was a staff change, then they couldn't figure out how to replace the receipt paper in the register, couldn't figure out how to charge to card, and couldn't figure out how to bill to our room, so we had to deplete our cash for another round; an hour and half later, they still couldn't figure it out, so we left - you lost probably another 6 drinks due to incompetence. Additionally, babies were allowed in the bar area, so during most of one game, the kid was screaming uncontrollably and the parents just thought that was too funny. At 9pm at night, a screaming baby should be asked to leave the bar area - move to the restaurant if you still want to serve them. The front desk staff was pleasant. The shuttle driver for the game was quite pleasant Saturday night and we booked and he promised an air conditioned charter bus. Sunday morning it was upsetting to hear him seemingly trying to convince customers to visit a Gentlemen's club on the way back. When we were picked up after the game, the van had almost NO air and we were all sweating and I about passed out, while my husband was having chest pains from the heat...and more gentlemen's club offers.

    Cold showers. They don't have hot water 24/7. We got in about midnight and were too tired, so we took cold showers after waiting 30min for the water to warm up. Next day we called and maintenance got it almost hot. We went to a concert that night and came back late and the shower was cold water only again. Hot water couldn't be turned on again since maintenance went home. So 2 cold showers. Staff was very nice and tried to find a room we could shower in with hot water, but we had to leave for airport at 4am, so while waiting we just showered in cold again....

    The front desk and common area was the nicest part of this hotel. The hallways and rooms are very outdated and in disrepair. Carpet coming up from the floor. Random holes cut in the walls. It's the worst Hilton hotel I've ever been in. Oh and there was no hot water!!

    There was a very large cockroach in our bathroom the second night we were there. Tried getting ahold of the hotel manager multiple times and were told he would call back, but never heard from him. We’ve stayed at other Double Trees before and thought highly of them, but not this one.

    Toilet has low pressure when you flushed it, the buffet that cost $15 for adults is a ripoff. It’s the same breakfast you get at holiday inn, I thought there would be more options. It was scrambled eggs, bacon, suasuage and French toast, beagles, toast, yogurt, coffee and juice. It wasn’t worth the $15+tax. Another thing the tv in the room could at least be a smart tv for what you pay for a night.

    Check in lady was on the phone never really addressed us. The carpet in room was old and the AC was very loud. Outside the unit system was very hot to the touch in the patio area so may be wise to warn parents with small children.

    Room was great, hotel is beautiful for the price point. Only issue was the pool, it was open but pretty dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I actually had to go around with the skimmer and get all the (very large Texas) bugs and stuff out. But other than that it was a great stay!

    The exterior of the property had trash all around it. Both around the building and in the parking lot. The check in process was average. The room was musty and most of the outlets didn't work. Initially, our room was on the second floor but we asked for another room because the exterior AC was very loud. The next room had a similar musty smell and most of the outlets didn't work. This room was on the second floor, same side. Could still hear the ac unit but not as loud. Would not stay here again.

    Access to elevator from side door was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable. Shower didn’t have a lot of pressure and tub paint was peeling. The beds looked thrown together when made by housekeeping. Location wasn’t ideal.

    We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. The lobby is very nice. The elevator was very slow and made loud noises but we were only there for one night so it was fine. Our room was very clean. Tv didn’t have many channels but once again, we were there one night so no big deal. The bathroom is very nice also and the shower products smell great. Staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!

    I liked that the hotel was super nice looking but I did not like that you had to pay extra to include breakfast. Normally when I go to hotels it is already included. On top of the hundred I had to pay for the room I additionally had to pay more to get breakfast in the morning and there was not even that many options to choose from. I did not like that.

    Only stayed one night as a stopover between flights. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and cooled. However, the restaurant is not really a restaurant but a bar/fast food. The really sad thing is everything is delivered on plastic plates with plastic cutlery supplied which is supplied in a plastic bag. The food menu is very basic, badly cooked, burger over cooked, eggs solid, toast not toasted etc and the quality is very average. I had dinner and breakfast neither was very good. The bar staff were fun and attentive.

    There was an empty hot cheetos bag and tag from clothing on the floor of the room upon check in. The pool was green and was closed during the entire stay. We did like the convenience of the trolley to the baseball game and the employees were friendly.

    I love Doubletree Hotels but this one was a bit disappointing. We came to see the Texas Rangers game on Friday and the plan was to spend Saturday by the pool. We took a walk Friday to have a look and it was green. Spoke to the front desk and they said the pump was out but should be ready by Saturday to check back for an update. Checked back on Saturday and was told the pool would not be ready. The only other item that was disappointing was the floors and rooms need some updates and people were allowed to smoke and vape in their rooms which made the hallways reek. The front desk staff were very nice. The bartender on Friday night is a “boss” but the food was a disappointment. Overall I would give this stay a 4 out of 5

    After having a horrible experience at Motel 6, I decided to book our stay at Doubletree. Thankfully they had a room available. Upon arrival, we were welcome by the receptionist. The room, the beds and pillows were just what we needed after a long drive. We were very happy to have stayed there. Highly recommend.

    I will never return here! They have a serious roach problem! We had a roach run in our room, then one time getting towels we seen like 4 roaches running and staff acted like it waz normal there....yuck! The place was a little out dated as well. The AC unit smelt like it was burning on the inside and had hot air leaking out it. We didnt have a plug in our bath tub, we only received 2 towels when we had 4 people ans when they broight fresh towels one waz folded with old makeup from like lipstick, eyeliner, and eye shadow on it. This place was beyond not worth the money. We paid over $200 a night here to have pool access, never again!

    Was a little disappointed when I checked in and found that they do not provide shuttle service (which showed to be provided when I booked the hotel, which was the reason I booked it). Upon check in the front desk stated they do not provide shuttle to the airport. However, the front desk clerk did help give directions to the terminal in order to pick my husband up from the airport. I also noticed that in our room, there was some damage on the wall near the bottom of the air conditioning unit. Overall, the staff and bar staff were amazing and accommodating.

    The outside does the interior no justice. You wouldn’t think it’s as nice as it is. The room was smaller than I expected, but it got the job done for a night stay. The bathroom was nice and clean. The beds were comfy enough. The warm and inviting cookie at check-in sold my bff and me! Check-in was quick, easy, and smooth. Overall, great stay!

    Overall, the stay was good. Our room, unfortunately, did not have a microwave to reheat food. The fridge was very tiny. The TV is way too small, and you can not hook up a Fire Stick to have access to your Streaming Devices. The last thing was that our blackout shades did not close all the way and still let light in. The bed was very comfortable.

    We were there 4 days. No housekeeping once. The reason why I pick double tree with my kids its because they love the cookies, they were out of them two of the days, we prepaid for breakfast, and they constantly harrassed us 6o try to make us pay, to the point that we didnt go the last day to pay because of the interruptions while eating we got, not once not twice but seceral times by different staff members. The elevator was not working properly. The conditioner dispenser was falling off the wall, the toilet was dirty and the room had an odd smell. I hate leaving bad reviews but this time i think its worth sharing. Its close to six flags, so it was convenient to what I wanted.

    I had requested that both rooms be cleaned in advance, but only one room was partially cleaned. They made one double bed, but I also asked for the second bed to be made and for the room to be cleaned, and housekeeping never showed up. Additionally, the toilet paper was very low, and there was an empty roll next to it. They only provided two towels and did not refill the toilet paper. However, after I called the front desk, they quickly delivered the toilet paper.
