Had no TV the first night, intermittent the second night & finally good the third night. Noice was far too loud first two nights. Bathroom amenities were lacking. The room was fine and the staff attempted to be helpful. Will not book this hotel again.

Wonderful stay at LaQuinta Ankeny Iowa. Great room, wonderful staff good breakfast. Our only negative comment would be about the beds. My wife and I are both octogenarians and getting in and out of the bed was a major challenge. We ended up asking the staff for some kind of stool to help us get into the bed. As most hotel rooms now have the higher beds, it was not totally unexpected, but this bed was exceptionally high. I wish hotels would take older patrons needs when deciding to replace their beds. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Would recommend to our friends and family members. A special shout out to Heather at the front desk who was very helpful in a situation that arose. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness. Thank you Heather.

The door to the room was falling off the hinges. Instead of moving us to another room, we were told to grab the door handle and lift the solid wood door into place to close it. No discounts were offered for the inconvenience.

The location and cleanliness and comfort. The room didn’t have one stove kitchen like it’s in “extended stay America”. The sofa cum bed is not good for bed. Worst options for bed. Might be good for sofa.

The elevator wobbled, which was unnerving. The bathroom wa just ugly…. But it was clean. No body wash.
