Despite high marks on this stay it’s important that management addresses the fact that there were no safety grab bars anywhere in or near the tub shower and only a plastic shower curtain to perhaps catch if you slipped on the extremely slick bath tub. They might save money in the long run using non slip ribbing on the tub surface as well as installing grab bars. So a fail in terms of handicapped accessibility in the bath area.

Short stay for me. Arrived late and gone early the next day. Comfortable room and a good nights sleep

This hotel fell way short of others at this same price point. There was an odor in the hallway to our room. They had cut a flap in the carpet over electrical outlets. I tripped over that flap twice. We have stayed in rooms this size many times before. This hotel has chosen to do away with what I consider essentials. For example, there is no clothes rack with hangers for hanging garments. That has been replaced with 3 hooks. There is no towel rack in the bathroom. The towels are kept under the sink in the main part of the room. There is nothing to hang your clothes on in the bathroom. The hook that had been on the back of the bathroom room has been removed, the holes in the door remain. The “hot” water is warm not hot. When we opened the door to the room it was obvious the floor had been mopped which was nice. A quick glance at the bathroom showed that it was extremely small which was to be expected since this is an old hotel. When I took a bath I discovered that the tub had not been wiped out. There was soap scum in the tub. The exhaust fan did rattle a few times but eventually settled down. The black out shade on the window is excellent. The towels and bedding were good quality. The TV had cable with numerous choices. There were 2 face size bars of soap but they were a good quality. There were 2 paper cups in the room and they were at the coffee pot on the desk. The back of the room door showing how to evacuate the hotel did not show our room location.

It just was OK, it was a bed to sleep in. No grab bars in the shower in the mobility access room. Did not respect us when we stated booking.com tried to reach them by phone and we had called twice. No one answered the phone at the hotel.we showed them the bookings.com email that was sent to us and also I showed them my phone that showed that called twice the day before. It was a horrible experience. We were able to call booking.com again the next morning and they got a hold of the hotel to resolve the problem.

Dog crap all over the sidewalks. Really no breakfast on offer.

Loved the jacuzzi tub in the room! Clean!

Right off the interstate

Nothing honestly Our room was filthy, tried to talk to staff and get it resolved they were very rude and unkind and defensive. Tried to tell us that it was us who made the mess but we had just got to the room maybe twenty minutes beforehand. Would not give us a few extra towels considering we stayed for multiple days.

Public areas in the hotel had odd smells, and the staff felt very eager to charge for a late or early check in.

My room and the bed were clean and comfortable. Air conditioner in the room worked well and was easy to adjust. Public areas in the hotel had odd smells, and the staff felt very eager to charge for a late or early check in.

The microwave and refrigerator were both unclean. The refrigerator had several rust spots on the door and it only had three legs so it was wobbly despite the rolled up shopping bag used to correct the wobbling. No hooks any where in the room to hang towels. Holes in the bathroom door indicated where the hooks used to be. The ellipse machine was out of order and no signage indicating this placed on or near the machine. Staff were informed about the refrigerator and stated that someone would check it the next morning. No one ever came. Breakfast was visibly horrible with its individually wrapped slices of white bread and toaster waffles. Butter and grape jelly were the only toppings for the bread. Small individually wrapped cinnamon rolls were also available. Yogurt, 2 juice options, 2 cereal options and coffee completed the menu. I ate nothing either day. No Day's Inn or for that matter Wyndham chain for this traveler.

The breakfast was not that great, the aroma of the hotel was odd, and when we pulled out sheets back on the bed there were crumbs in the bed. The shower was also clogged with hair in the drain and sticker residue was in the shower. The toilet and bathroom were in a little like closet thing. Not much room to move around.

I believe the owners living there I heard so much screaming in the halls then when I walked out there were 3 Indian men that worked there that were standing a group standing there and looking at my room when I walking out there where just starting there was lady with no shoes on the couch I think the mom the place is really ran down but the rooms where nice wouldn’t give me a refund and I was only there for 3 hours and needed up booking somewhere else. The are very greedy halls smells like food when I pulled up it was drunk me just standing around staring & I also believe there was only 2 other people staying there is gave me very weird vibes didn’t feel safe at all location in a nice area but would recommend the hotel across the parking lot. Front desk asked me a bunch of question I wasn’t comfortable with as a female traveling over all terrible experience, but I can say the room where nice & clean & did look like the pictures the rest of the hotel was very old & ran down also there wasn’t much space on think to put your things.

Barely any guests in the hotel and the continental breakfast was scares to say the least. One frozen waffle, one yogurt, 4 bananas, and some cereal. That was all the choices for a family of 4. Got a text saying if we need anything to respond to the text. Asked for an extra blanket and some more towels. 4 people in the room, one blanket, 2 towels. Never got them. Went to the desk to ask, still never got anything.

met my needs. wanted a clean, quiet place to sleep while in central Iowa to visit family and this is what i got. continental breakfast was nice, i tend to choose hotels that offer it, one less meal per day to search for when i am in town.
