It was a good stay! The parking was great!

The back parking lot and pool were an unofficial smoke lounge, so if you're sensitive to smoke, be aware. The halls tended to carry the smell too. My kids didn't feel comfortable going to the pool because of all the smoking. Room was actually pretty clean. WiFi was spotty, but the cell network was down while we were there, so everyone had likely switched to WiFi / video calling. Breakfast was good. They had some fresh fruit, waffles, toast, cereal, etc. And the staff minding the breakfast was helpful and courteous.

Check in was easy. The front desk was friendly. There was a funny smell when entering and the trash was overflowing by the front door. I appreciate room service came everyday (stay was Friday-Monday), and they did a great job. Carpet could use a deep cleaning. Fire alarm went off the first night there for over an hour, and it took for guests to ask what was going on to be told that someone was messing with the alarm. The hotel was dated but not too bad to just sleep in.

Staff, Building is 10 yrs past update and remodeling. Windowswouldn't close,tolietslow and low . Drains on sink ,tub, slow. TV problems, electric problems with blinking on and off. Terrible ownership.

The hotel was inexpensive and clean, except for the smell. The hotel smelled heavily of marijuana, which is illegal in Texas. Our room reeked. When I complained to the front desk clerk and asked to be moved, she told me they could move me the next day. I asked her if moving rooms would help with the smell (I could smell it throughout the hotel) and she said "Probably not." This indicates that they are tolerating the guests smoking marijuana, even though it is illegal and they are advertising smoke-free rooms. I couldn't afford to move hotels and wait for a refund, so we reluctantly stayed. We wanted to use the pool, but there were men wearing work clothes and reflective safety gear laying in the pool chairs, smoking. Anybody swimming would have to endure being stared at by them. Why were they allowed to lounge and smoke if they were not swimming? I would not recommend this hotel for families. It was a very uncomfortable stay.

The location is convenient, there was plenty of parking, and some grassy areas at the back of the lot where we could walk our dog. The breakfast was way better than I would have expected. Every property along the highway is SO LOUD, no matter what side of the building you’re on. Everything seemed kind of run down but it was very clean.

The hotel itself appears to need some work and some maintenance. We used the laundry facilities, one dryer was out of order (which was fine) but what was concerning was the washing machine drained into the floor? Or in a garbage can? The floor up to the baseboards was wet and it was dirty around the washer so I was a little confused on how that worked. But my clothes came out clean and that’s all I cared about. Breakfast was also sad, but it’s right by a McDonald’s and ihop which makes it forgivable. If you are looking for a decent place to sleep with pets, nothing super fancy, I would say for the price, it’s great. It’s also super close to a Sam’s Club for cheap gas and within 5ish miles to Buc-ee’s which was super fun to experience.

I walked into my room with the water in the bathtub still running, it would not shut off. It was so hot in there that the condensation was dripping. All over the place I went downstairs to complain and ask about getting a new room.And was denied

Perfect for a one night stay whilst on a roadtrip. Breakfast consists of waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bananas, coffee & juice. Very basic if that’s important for you. I’m good with just coffee. Beds are clean and comfortable.

Property was in need of a lot of TLC but you had to anticipate that. Was simply a few hours stop over on a road trip so you simply deal with it.

The hotel needs major maintenance. Breakfast is very limited but McDonald’s is next door. Exterior trash cans were overflowing. Not good unless it’s a quick stay and even then you may not get a restful night of sleep due to the noise.

It was quite noisy. The windows aren't soundproof n i had to put earplugs in n leave the tv on in order to sleep. I'm a light sleeper n noise bothers me. I live in a rural area n enjoy my peace.

I initially gave this hotel a one-star review after my December 25, 2025 stay due to the disappointing complimentary breakfast. After staying again on January 2, I’ve reconsidered. Compared to other hotels in the area, it’s actually not that bad. The room was clean overall, though I did find a couple of hairs in the bathtub. The property also feels safer than most motels since the rooms are located inside the building.

The hotel room was terrible. It strongly smelled of paint, and the shower water was not running at all. This made the stay very uncomfortable.

The room was clean. There was no microwave available. Unfortunately, the TV was not functioning. The restroom was outdated. The entrance area was dirty. The ceiling in the entryway was old and rotten. Although breakfast was complimentary, it was not a hot buffet breakfast.

The room was relatively clean. There were some dirty marks on the bed sheets. The shower wasn’t very clean. Overall the room was well stocked and comfortable. We traveled with a dog and it was an easy, good experience. He tends to alert bark but it was quiet enough that it only happened once or twice through the night.

Room was very "stuffy" and a faucet leaked and bath fan was fallen. Street noise was terrible.

Customer service was rude. There was mice droppings on the floor, stains on the sheets and the traffic outside was so loud it was hard to sleep.

Overall Experience From start to finish, this stay was filled with issues: • A first room that was dirty, damaged, and without heat • A second room that was already occupied, which is a serious safety and privacy violation • A third room that was remodeled but dusty, with a non-functional fridge • Continuous signs of poor maintenance and poor attention to detail • Another guest also being moved multiple times • A personal item disappearing after checkout • Housekeeping failing to locate an item that should have been clearly visible • Multiple apologies from staff that didn’t change the reality of the situation I travel often, and I rarely leave long reviews, but I feel it’s necessary here. Guests deserve clean, safe, functional rooms—and to feel confident that their belongings won’t mysteriously disappear. Final Thoughts This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in years of frequent travel. The problems weren’t small and isolated; they were systemic issues that suggest deeper problems with how this hotel is managed, cleaned, and maintained. I hope management takes these complaints seriously, because no guest should go through what I did. As it stands, I cannot recommend staying here, and I would not stay here again. Overall: A horrible experience across the board.

The lady at the front desk very nice She give us a room 104 we check room and the beds and we found hair on both beds and carpets very dirty We talk to the front desk lady she was surprise But she give us other room 4th floor The all the way to the room smell a fresh paint we get in check beds and the same thing we took photos of all the hair and talk to the front desk lady again ok another room 508 we check and we found a los of dog hair under the pillows photos and we talk one more time She said she couldn’t refund us because we rent it through Expedia and we had to stay because we needed to rest. We ask for clean sheets and we made the beds ourself.

There was a large, dead cockroach next to my bed, there was a gap between the door and the floor… I had to use a towel to seal off. The top blanket was either dirty or terribly stained, regardless, it was gross. I did not feel comfortable in the room. Had I not traveled 12 hours and it not been so late, I would have gone elsewhere! Would never stay there again

Room was spotless and roomy. Bed and pillows were also very comfortabe.

The room felt neglected, the couch was covered in crumbs and stains. Leftover stuff in the fridge from the previous tenant and room keys were only working intermittently.

Absolutely unacceptable! I am moving out of town and had to make a few trips. I booked this hotel online and when I went to check in the owner refused to give me the room I ALREADY PAID FOR because my driver's license shows that I'm from in town. He said for me to receive the room that I already paid for I would have to pay an additional $200 deposit which is not stated in any of the paperwork when booking this online. The person at the desk was very rude and combative to the point that I left and decided I would rather sleep in our vehicle. The room I booked was no refunds or cancellation so I showed that to the owner when he told me to cancel it and yet he still did nothing to make it right so now they have kept my money and not even acknowledged the problem. I can't get a hold of anyone through hotels.com so I think I'm just going to be out on this one morning to all do not go here

The property provided decent internet that I was able to game on just fine. They had a convenient ice machine, and the hotel was nice and quiet. Did the hotel desk chair have a bite out of the arm? Yes. Were the sheets older with some old stains, and maybe some burn holes, yeah... but it was all washed and clean. I miss hotels having good water pressure, but it seems none of them do anymore. For the price I really can't complain, and I would go again, no real issues. I prefer it over a hotel that we paid double for a few weeks back. No bells and whistles, she's just a place to land with the necessities.

To be honest, is one of the most dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed. The carpet was sticky. They were hairs on the bathroom and the shower, and it was a funny smell in the room.

Bathroom sink and vanity area could use a little freshening up. I couldn't turn off the TV without unplugging it which might explain why it was on when I entered the room.

Place is nothing like the pictures. Room given to me was still dirty from previous guests. Hallway was overflowing with trash and smelled disgusting. Was a bit upset the staff would not provide me with a fork for my salad on this extremely stormy night since the dining/kitchen area was right behind them - again, I was slightly disappointed. Gave an honest review and manager replied with a apology like the trash hotel he manages. He was more butthurt about my utensils complaint than the trash I mentioned that was all over the hallway. Yeah, never booking here again.

Our room faced I-40 and it was so loud from the traffic, you would have thought the window was open. Therefore none of the family got good sleep. The pool is tiny. We didn't use it due to time.

There should be more options in breakfast. Also, the room had very old vibes. It should have been renovated. Also, drinking water should be available for refill in bottles.

The pool was closed which was a big disappointment as we booked this hotel for the pool! The breakfast was ok but not a great deal of choice. It was situated on the main road but luckily we had a room at the back so it was quite quiet.

The off putting part of our stay was when the front desk clerk tried to come into our room with another guest, who had the wrong room. No apology offered or anything. The room was clean and comfortable and was as described. The bathroom could use a little upgrading nothing fancy but definitely utilitarian. Great location right on the interstate. Wall paper coming off everywhere and holes in the walls throughout. tiny tvs lucky if you get a remote, and if you ask them for one they'll come check, and then they'll give you one. Wall mount tvs but they didn't bother to take out the old box tv cabinets. Pool closed the hole time. Breakfast was okay bordering a continental breakfast, lady making the waffles was nice. Broken lobby doors makes it look run down and really uninviting especially pulling in at night. Didn't take pic cuz we were in vacation and who would want to remember that?? Thanks for nothin Expedia, your rates were way off. Ricadiy elevators and gang tagging in the stairwell. You get all this bang for your buck. Go elsewhere.

I didn’t like that i had to wait over 30 minutes to get checked in for my room and the staff didn’t communicate with me.

Our room was large, shower good, one bed comfy the other needed a new mattress. Carpet was filthy & there were stains on one of the blankets too. Wallpaper held on wall with staples! Breakfast was average. Would not stay again!

When we got there for check in at 3. No one was at the front desk. We waited for 45 minutes before anyone showed up. When someone finally did show up, she just walked up nonchalantly with a rude face and even worse attitude. Didn’t even bother to greet us or apologize for the wait. Just rude, all around. Our room keys didn’t work, so we had to go back to the front desk like 5 times for new cards. The room smelt like wet rag and the tub was clogged. It was just horrible. But I mean what could you expect for the price? It was cheap and it was just needed to sleep and get ready for a party. So I wouldn’t have minded any of these problems if the customer service would have been better.

After driving 14hours this stay was perfect!

Pretty standard stay. My wife was not happy finding potatoe chips on the floor apon entering the room. The sheets being stained didn't help either.

Photo show a modern room and this was not modern. Walls could be painted, ceiling had stains, lamps fixtures old and out dated. Vent in restroom had dust and air conditioner was slightly noisy. Breakfast was lacking, the establishment on the west side much better.

The room I stayed in smelled like marijuana and the sheets and towels were stained and worn. Actually the entire rooms and all the furniture was old and worn. Not bad overall but the hotel definitely needs a renovation.

This property had declined bad. The staff in the the breakfast area was rude. And the housekeepers were in their eating wihile the guests were eating. We even had to wait to get our breakfast so housekeeping could get their breakfast first.One lady was sitting down with a heater on her legs and being on her phone watching movies. This property needs many upgrades. The desk clerk needs to dress more professional in stead of a crop top and sweats that showed her mid section with Tattoo. I will not be returning to this property.

Took my reservation and money, but didn't have any rooms available when I arrived. Several others in the lobby had the same issue at check-in.

I left and had to drive 1.5more hours in the dark to another hotel. The walls, doors were dirty I thought I’m just sleeping here. Pulled down the sheets and dirty! I left after being there only 20 minutes. I have pictures of the sheets if you would like to see.

Room wasn't bad, but the toilet flapper was wonky and wouldn't seal, so the toilet leaked until I removed the top and pushed it down. The room has discernable wear around the sink/vanity. It showed signs of its age. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. The heater/ac unit worked. So there was some good and some average, but overall I would stay here again.

I didn't get to stay at the days inn they supposed to cancel my reservation because they don't rent to locals without paying a 200 deposit

We ended up staying here during a windstorm after driving for hours. Other than the TV not working we had no real issues. I was not a fan of the $50 incidentals charge placed on my card. I was told I would get it back after our stay but I never did get that refunded back into my account despite all us doing in the room was sleeping and using the bathroom. Otherwise it was fine and we were lucky enough to have people help us get our car unstuck from the snow the next morning
