Don't like that they put us in a room dogs had been in. Dogs barking woke us up. Dogs all in and out of food area. Went for breakfast at 9 am and girl had it all put up. Was very put out that we asked for something to eat.

The room itself was fine, clean with moderately comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the AC was controlled by a wall thermostat that kept converting to 73 degrees overnight. With the humidity it would get very stuffy and I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it down. It was also very loud, so we’d wake up periodically when it shut off. The main issue was the pool heater was broken during our stay leaving the pool quite cold. It was the primary reason we chose this hotel over others in the area so that was disappointing.

Clean Had pet odor as soon as walking through the sliding doors. Covers had pet hair. I like pets, but am disappointed that pets are allowed in a place where I just want to relax and enjoy with no foul odor or pet hair.

The hotel stay was good. The hotel was clean, attractive, and breakfast very good. The main issue I have is the forethought from the hotel on requested handicap room. The room was sufficient except there was not thought in the type of bed provided for a handicap room. The mattress height was so high and so it was extremely difficult for my mom r to get in and out of the bed. I had to physically assist her every time she got in and out. In most cases, handicap guests need to be able to sit easily on the bed without climbing in it. The mattress was fine, but the height with box springs was very high. This critique should be considered by the hotel and maybe corporation's guidelines for this type of room. I made my comments known to the front desk clerk, but she did not seem interested in my comment.

Stayed for one night on a road trip. Great place. Clean, inviting lobby. Friendly staff, really nice room. I’d stay again if traveling through Amarillo. Had to leave before breakfast started but coffee was ready. Fresh, hot and delicious. The staff member even offered that whatever was ready at the breakfast bar I could make a to-go plate. Very nice.

I checked in very late and out very early. However, the front desk was manned 24 hours daily, so i had no problems. The hotel was conveniently located to major thoroughfres. Breakfast started early. I was able to get some rest in a comfortable, clean place, and be on my way.

New building in a great part of town. Breakfast was delicious. Bed comfortable. Our reception was cold. She was not friendly. Was unprofessional by chewing her gum while checking us in. She told me to look at the prompts on the machine and answer yes. Never explained anything or tell me when breakfast was being served. I was still in the lobby when the next patron came in and she explained everything while he was prompted by the check-in machine. She also explained when and where breakfast was being served.

It’s in a great location, it’s exceptionally clean, the staff is great and it’s still reasonably priced compared to less well-managed properties in Amarillo. The only issues were in the bath/shower—a slow moving bathtub drain and a shower head that didn’t have enough water pressure.

We had a room with two queens and a pull out couch. Plenty of room for our family of four. The room was clean and updated. I love that you got two firm and two soft pillows for each bed. Breakfast had cute little texas waffles and my son really enjoyed the biscuits as and gravy.

I didnt care for the location for restaurants within walking distance but there were plenty within a short drive

Exceptionally clean property with a very friendly, helpful, efficient, competent staff. Amazingly quiet rooms (ours equipped with hearing impaired door bell)! Breakfast was great with a terrific latte machine. On-site gym clean and well equipped. Only downsides were that the pool was unavailable due to maintenance. In our room, one bed was ok. The other was the worst ever, lumpy, hard with pillows to match. Despite that, I’d stay here again and give it another try. Appreciated the kindness of the staff — they were exceptional in every way.

I travel once a year to Phoenix. My experience at Best Western was great the first time I stayed there, so I choose it every year. I have passed this information along to friends and family who also stay there. This year I paid about 30% more for my room. The woman at the check in was unfriendly. The room had an odor. The shower had very low water pressure. The breakfast buffet had fewer choices than the hotel I had just spent 6 nights in for 30% less. I will no longer recommend this hotel.

Everything was clean and ready for us, even upon arriving and checking in around 11 pm! Super easy to check in and out and the breakfast was delicious and convenient. Also super easy to bring our cat in with us for our brief overnight stay on our road trip!!

The cleanliness, the spacious of the building, parking, small area to walk the dogs surrounding and the size of the rooms. We were doing a road trip and stayed first and as it was great, last night in our way back to Houston. This is not a dislike is more like a suggestion, would be great to have chocolate syrup for the pancakes in the breakfast and the pet fee around 25 usd per pet would be great

Room was very clean, AC worked great, the bed was extremely comfortable, the only issue I had was a low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancake maker, a variety of pastries and breads. They even had a latte machine. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast, excellent exercise room. Booked for the pool and found out when we arrived that it was closed for work. Bathroom has a barn style door that didn’t lock or provide much privacy. Won’t stay again for one reason: the walls are paper thin. One neighbor coughed until midnight, the other watched Star Wars until 2:30am. No way to turn on the continuous fan in the room. Was like listening to an audio book of Star Wars throughout the night.

This was one of the nicest hotels we staying in on our 2 week road trip. We were surprised how nice it was and close to a big mall and food nearby.

It was in a good location. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly I really wish you would use those little plastic bottles and soap that just gets thrown away and puts more plastic into our environment. We've seen other Best Westerns that had the refillable containers attached to walls or the shower wall. I'm not sure why it gets such good reviews on the breakfast - it was average and like most other hotels. Also just a note. Our room was huge and should have a couch in it, not just empty space. it seemed weird

This was our best stay - however it was more $$ than we usually pay- the room was great - clean roomy temperature perfect and beds were wonderful! Bathroom was extremely clean. Highly recommend but would have gotten the single king bed- my son clocked the incorrect room type so that’s why we paid more. Unfortunately but it was nice.

Probably one of the cleanest best westerns I’ve stayed In has very good breakfast choices actually better than some of the high end hotels. The only complaint I really have is our 1st night there at 11 pm we had some people above us being extremely loud slamming things around and just being all together inconsiderate when I called to the front desk he was very dismissive of my concerns when I called back at 2 he still made excuses for them but he did say he’d call we listened to them for almost 30 minutes was pretty upsetting and made the the 1st night terrible the next day was more enjoyable and had friendly staff

A pet-friendly hotel can sometimes present challenges for guests seeking a peaceful stay. After an extensive drive, we found ourselves in an unexpected situation, visiting our third Best Western in as many days during a thousand-mile journey. The check-in experience was unfortunately met with discourtesy from the staff. When a dog, left unattended and vocal, was placed in the adjacent room, the staff simply stated that it was a "pet-friendly hotel." While I appreciate animals, I believe the comfort of other paying guests should be prioritized over the convenience of pet owners whose animals may be disruptive. Furthermore, no loyalty program benefits were acknowledged at this establishment. There is certainly room for improvement.

We made reservations at this property because the listing said 'No Pets Allowed". Not true we learned as a couple brought in two small dogs to a room next to ours. I asked the person at the desk if they allowed pets, thinking the couple may have tried to sneak them in - "Pets are allowed" was the response.

Well lit parkinglot. Decently clean room, my sheets had some dirty marks on the main bed cover. Overall the room was clean otherwise. The tv had all kinds of channels which was nice. They had hot brrakfast and tried their best to refill everything, but it was all gone so fast still. I had cold gravy for my biscuits because I dont think anybody noticed it in the corner. They had no milk, no hot food except for eggs. The pancakes were out and the waffle batter gone. Only had a few muffins and 2 bagels left. Atleast they yogurt and had a cool coffee machine tho. I saw a worker pull out a whole new waffle machine and a man made a waffle for his daughter...I came up to make one but she told me it was out. I saw her refill it. I dont understand. I get that it had became 9am for breakfast to be closed, but there was barely any food.

The laundry room was fine. There was no staff. It was a kiosk check-in outsourced to India. No personal touch here. Since there was no staff, all public trash containers were overflowing with food and trash. The breakfast area was okay but doesn’t even open until 7:00am. I’m usually out of the hotel by 7:00 when I’m traveling. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. I won’t be back.

Try more like 3.5. The beds were decent. A solid 8 who is picking about their beds. But the showers was not warm enough and the water pressured was awful!! Room 207 stayed 02-18-2026 for one night.

The room is very clean, the hotel is very nice too. Came from another Best Western Plus during my road trip, this one has more comfortable bed but the breakfasts is a bit worse. Not saying it's bad, and definitely will book again

My overall stay was nice. However, the girl at the front counter, was a bit rude when I was checking out. I went to put some of my stuff in the car, went back to my room, and couldn’t use my key. It had been deactivated without me checking out but besides that all was well.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff was great, breakfast was wonderful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Checkin agent was not friendly. Gave no direction to room or amenities; ice location, room location, 24 hr coffee availability.

My concern was regarding a broken glass covering for the eggs at the morning breakfast. The top had been dropped on the floor and it shattered all over the breakfast area. Staff was quick to sweep up the glass, it was quite a large area to sweep. After sweeping up the glass the person who was at the desk, and who did the cleanup looked at the full pan of eggs and left them out for service. My concern was that glass pieces or slivers could have gotten in the eggs. The desk person went back to the desk and went on with their work. Only after I questioned the safety of leaving the eggs out for service were they removed. Perhaps I am overreacting, I’ll let others who read this decide.

Room was great, clean spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, blanket and pillows not so much. Dining area was nice. Breakfast was ok. Food choices could use some improvements. Hot food containers not easy to access and somewhat dangerous. Great place to stop after a long drive.

Bfast was hot and plenty of hot and cold choices. Can't beat also their 24 hours coffee availability including choices like Mocha.

The bed in our room was almost impossible for me to sleep in -- VERY hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was clean and a large room. But we canceled our reservation for the return trip and found another hotel with a better bed.

This is our go to stop when traveling between Texas and Oklahoma. It’s right in the middle, it’s safe, easy, clean, affordable, and has everything we need.

Staff was fine but there was a domestic dispute in the next room in the middle of the night and if the clerk/cops actually followed up, we couldn’t tell. There were hairs in the bedding, too. We will not be back.

Check in service was fine. Hotel was very clean. Workout room was great and well stocked with supplies. Hotel was fairly quiet until about 930pm, when room 410 (we were in 412) had its TV up full blast non stop past 1230am. We brought this to the attention of the front desk multiple times, and one lady did go up and knock, but no answer. I tried to knock on room 410 multiple times myself to address the issue, but no answer. My girlfriend and i both brought the issue back up to another gentleman at the front desk, but he seemed indifferent. Despite trying ear plugs and noise machines, the room next door was too loud, so we promptly packed up and went to a run down Motel 6 at 1am to try and get SOME sleep. Its unfortunate because most of my Best Western experiences have been good. We had an interview for jobs the next day and this hurt us. We won't be returning here again.

This was the quietest and most comfortable stay of my summer and I stay in A LOT of hotels. The bed was cozy. The room was clean. The door lock worked. And I didn't hear anyone next door so I was able to sleep. I would have liked to have seen the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower and other eco-friendly features. BUT...I will stay here again.

The breakfast was plentiful and spotlessly clean. This is a perfect spot to stay. (Cons: I'd suggest they check the AC units. Ours had a slight damp odor all night that was obvious when you re-entered the room. Also, just so you're aware, the bathrooms are BARN DOORS. So there is a definite GAP on one whole vertical side when you are in there. This is no fault of the location, it's horrible design from corporate.)

I only had a couple of issues but other than that, our stay was great. The hotel was affordable, clean and location was great as we were traveling & it was easy access to the interstate. There were plenty of places around to eat so we didn’t have to go far. My issues were that I thought I was booking a hotel that didn’t allow pets but when I checked in that wasn’t the case. The information under property details was incorrect on the Expedia app. The clerk was kind enough to switch some rooms around so that we could have a room on the 4th floor where no pets were allowed but there was a dog in the room next to ours?? So that was a disappointment but other than this, our stay was pleasant.

This place is clean and appealing and comfortable. My only issue is the paper thin walls and ceilings as far as noise from other travelers. Also, the tv is on the side wall to the bed which is a little awkward to watch. Other than that, it’s a very nice place.

This is a nice hotel but I don't believe it deserves an Exceptional rating. The property was a little confusing to get into but the building is new and clean and the area feels very safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, but the sliding barn door concept for the bathroom was weird. You can't lock it and the toilet sits right inside the door, which just feels off. The wifi is good, the beds were comfortable. The armchair in our room had a worn out cushion which made a loud groaning noise when anyone sat in it. It needs to be replaced. Our only real complaint is that when my grandkids were playing in the pool, one of them got small, metal filament stuck in his foot. When we looked in the pool, we saw lots and lots of them, mainly on the steps into the shallow end. We reported it to the front desk and they closed the pool immediately. Unfortunately, the problem wasn't corrected while we were there because it was Saturday. I might stay here again but would most likely choose a different property.

This is our go to place when we visit my mom in Amarillo.

Very quiet location and room which is a plus for Amarillo. Check in person was sour and scarcely civil. Very unfortunate. Bed and pillows were much better than a typical motel of this category.

Did not have amenities on the wall in the shower, still tiny bottles. Bed was comfortable. Did not appreciate waking up early to a dog barking for at least 10 minutes on our floor.

Check in at 2pm was great, front desk clerk was fantastic! This is our 2nd stay at this location and we will come back!

Stopped here to rest overnight on our drive from California to Fort Worth, Texas. Perfect location, everything was clean. Parking well lit. And nice breakfast. They offered Texas size/shaped waffle in the morning. :)

We got to the property late, couldn’t get into our room because the card reader on the door broke. At midnight, with 4 young kids, had to switch rooms to one with less beds. Room didn’t have bedding for sofa bed, had to call down to front desk to get bedding. Did not sleep well as not enough room for us all. Was not pleased.

Overall hospitality service was less than average at best. The staff members at desk seemed bored and uninterested. They would not greet us at all. I asked for a complimentary deodorant because housekeeping threw mine away. I received a snarky response from lady who was at front desk). Rarely did she or any employees engage or even smile. In this economy, guests can opt to stay ANYWHERE and in my opinion, hospitality trumps ALL other aspects of hotel. It appeared there was no vacuuming done in my room as we found an empty food container and trash & wrappers under one of our beds. 2 out of 5 starts.

Room very spacious, but arranged inefficiently and only one seating chair. Loveseat or two lounge chairs would be preferable. A/C in room sounds like a jet taking off when cycling on and running.
