    My AC didn't work. Fridge didn't work, I didn't book a handicap room yet I was given one. Shower nozzle sprayed water out on the sink so all my personal belongings were soaked. Overall the experience was horrible. I told the front desk about my issues they just down played it. Asked if I could switch rooms, wasn't an option. I travel work often and the location was great but other than that it wasn't a good stay. I most definitely wont be staying here again.

    Overall good stay. We had a minor issue at first no tv remotes and we had 2 tv’s but the staff was great at helping us right away to fix that! Only problem we really ran into all weekend.

    It was in a good location. Furniture was updated and nice. Bathroom needed new fixtures for the tub. There were cracked tiles on bathroom floor and bathroom ceiling had cracked Sheetrock. I had a hard time getting hot water for the shower.

    The only 2 things I can say about this hotel is that the AC worked good and the beds were ok, that being said we will Never stay here again! The plug ins the bathroom didn’t works, nor did half of them in the room, the ice machine didn’t work either! When I called to the front desk to ask about the plug ins not works the guy at the desk said “what do you want me to do about it” after telling me it was late (10pm)and he couldn’t do anything, did I need to use them! REALLY!! I paid for the room right! We are in a hotel every weekend playing baseball, this hotel will start my do not stay again list!

    I stayed at the hotel from March 26-29. I had a double queen for myself and my aunt. The first night was fine, however when I woke up to get ready I noticed that our room didn’t have an iron. The front desk clerk was gracious enough to get me one. I went down for breakfast all days to see what they served and I was disappointed that they do not accommodate non pork eaters or those of us who can’t drink cow milk. Also the second night we came back to the room, we noticed our bathroom floor and toilet wet from water from God knows where. I’m assuming it came from the ceiling because it did look as if it were painted over a few times. We went to let the front desk know what was going on he did move us to the only room they had available, a king bed with a sofa. I was very disappointed because my aunt and myself suffer from back problems, we both have shoulder injuries and she has had to have knee surgery. We paid for a double queen and yet we were downgraded in my eyes to a king where one of us had to sleep on an extremely uncomfortable couch. Our last morning there, I tried to use the key to get into the room it would not work. I thought they locked us out, but the front desk clerk stated this happens when the key comes in contact with a phone… it’s still weird because I know for sure my key was not near a phone. Anywho, won’t be staying here again.

    Terrible experience, water was turned off last visit then the toilet stopped working this time around cards kept deactivating house keeping didn’t replace towels or take trash out and when called was told we had to request towels the night before. Hotel also had roaches, will not be staying here ever again.

    We were in town for my mother‘s funeral. I expected because of the reputation of this hotel things would be standard or even better what we found was mold in the shower, mold in the soap dish, mold on the floor, and not one single plug-in worked in the bathroom so you could not shave could not blow dry your hair. You could not do it many of those things you needed to do in the bathroom with electrical stuff there were smells of some kind of chemicals. I’m assuming for remodel, but that just kept coming in the room. The air conditioner was not satisfactory at all, so to say the least it was not an enjoyable stay. The breakfast bar was watered eggs some kind of a sausage that didn’t even look like sausage.

    The room was clean, large, and comfortable. The pool is closed until May due to city regulations so keep that in mind. It's only open from May until September which seems insanely short for Texas. The lobby was nice and the breakfast was good though average for a continental breakfast.

    Room was ok. Hot water barely worked, took several lukewarm showers. Our keys were deactivated on the first day of our stay, locling us out and forcing us to wait in a line to get keys reactivated. Biggest complaint is the exterior door next to our room was broken. You could enter/exit, but it would slam and shake the walls and was very loud in our room. We notified the staff and they placed a sign on the door, asking guests to gently close the door(didnt work). The door poses a safety hazard in addition to the annoyance of guests. 0 effort to fix it, just a sign. For the price, this place isnt bad, but, i would opt to pay a few more dollars at a different property in the future.

    We sat in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. Then the room was dirty, and we found multiple hairs in the bed and bathroom. At one point, an employee conducted a room check to see who was in every room, which was weird. We checked online and picked noon. Then we got a call at 11:30 telling us we were about to be charged for late checkout. It was just unorganized and not the best stay.

    Breakfast was ok: not amazing but good. I had one issue with the staff. The housekeeping staff opened our door before 9am when we had a do not disturb sign on our door and we had until 11am to check out. My 3 year old daughter ran out of the room while her uncle was inside and I was downstairs getting her breakfast. I had no clue why my daughter was roaming the hallways with housekeeping but it was unacceptable. My brother had no clue because he thought she was in the room with him. I was told that they go into rooms because they don’t know when people are checked out and I said so? We have until 11am to stay in that room and they had no reason regardless to be in there. I’m not happy with the lack of privacy and the fact that my kid could’ve been hurt with no supervision from her family.

    The room was spacious but there was no microwave as advertised in the room. We had to ask and they brought one to the room shortly after. Noone ever apologized for it not being in there as it should have been. The outside side door was broken and had tape on it so anyone off the street could have walked in. The breakfast was basic. Hotel in some parts like the gym was closed. The room also advertised sound proof and it was not it was noisy all times of the day and night.

We requested room cleaning, and they offered to provide the necessary equipment, citing insufficient personnel to perform the task. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.     When checking in we never received the wifi information to do work since our service was slow. The main light did not work in our room. It was already extremely cold outside and the AC was extremely cold and would not get any hotter even with the heater on, it stayed on 63 degrees our entire stay. The water also went out, so we had no water in the restroom until we pretty much checked out, and when it came back on it was EXTREMELY cold! These conditions definitely gave me the flu.

    The Breakfast menu, once a highlight of this hotel was reduced to tasteless powdered eggs, some sort of grey meat, and a sausage gravy for the Busquets that was a pale brown. There were two of three options for the juice and no water available. The room was sort of clean. Found trash on the floor and the tile in the bathroom had been recently sealed but left incomplete and messy.

    The front desk could use room for important. Got in late around 1 AM and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk. Stayed at a hotel for a special event and was late because our room didn’t have a blow dryer. Called the front desk and had to follow up 30 minutes later because I didn’t hear back. Told me it was best if I run to the store to get a blow dryer. I was flabbergasted what I heard. Couldn’t find one blow dryer in the dang hotel? So my mom had to take matters in her own hand and found housekeeping. Housekeeping were the real MVPs they were able to find a blow dryer. The front desk could do better and problem solve. Customer service was lacking this weekend. Reached out through Expedia and haven’t heard anything.

    I made it into my room and was ready to shower… when I found 2 used needles sitting on top of the fire alarm… the room was not fully cleaned and I’m glad I didn’t have my family with me for this stay. Used drug needles should NEVER be left in rooms. The cleaning of each room is very important.

    The staff were courteous and professional. The room was clean. My area of disappointment is that I selected the hotel over other hotels in the area because the property listed having a hotel tub and 24 hour workout facility. Both of these amenities were inoperable and according to staff have been down for several months. It would be helpful if this was stated on the website so that customers can make an educated choice as to selecting which hotel to book in the area.

    We had no electricity in bathroom outlets. Our friends room, the toilet wasn't filling with water. Had to get buckets of water to flush. High humidity to the point all metal things are rusting in the room and bath. Front desk lied to us saying the problems will be fixed the next day. It wasn't. Never again!

    Unfortunately, we are in the process of trying to get a refund. We tried to get a refund the night we arrived as our room was so mildew that it was difficult to be in the room at all. The floor has been broken up and glued back together. There was gross things on the walls and on the couch And when we talk to the person on duty, he said it was the only room available and he would not refund our money to go stay somewhere else. We only stayed one night and we left as soon as we could.

    Ceiling in our bathroom was leaking, no hot water in the shower and no one ever seemed to care to help us. Would say ”we’ll send someone to try and fix it” but no one came. This happened twice! Our room as well as our friends room smelled like mold. It was gross. Also, I wanted To talk with someone about a possible partial reimbursement when we checked out, but for a good 45 min no one ever showed up at the front desk and we had to leave. Very disappointing.

    Very clean rooms, felt safe. Air conditioning was fantastic, Wi-Fi was fast, breakfast was amazing. Only complaints are our key cards kept deactivating so we had to go back to the front desk to reactivate them. Also, neither outlets in the bathroom worked. Had to use my hot hair tools out in the room with a portable mirror.

    My car is a hybrid and I pull up to try and charge my car and the charger doesn’t work. I go to relax in the hot tub and it’s filled with floating bugs and moths . I wanted to sit in a hot tub so I took them out myself .but then I go inside to a damp and mildew smelling room. Just wanting to watch a little tv and go to sleep. After 20 mins of trying to get this tv to work I go downstairs and ask just to be told yeah sometimes they don’t work it’s a hit or miss really . And as I’m talking to the staff member another guest comes down complaining his tv and ac isn’t working so I know it wasn’t just me.I ended up having to pull out my iPad and connect to the WiFi and watch YouTube throughout my stay. The lock on my hotel room door is also broken and hanging limply on the door frame. Would not stay here again

    BED BUGS! Terrible and nasty will never stay there again! Added paint to look clean but still dirty. The manager refused to give me my money back after a bed bug was crawling on the sheets headed toward my 11 month old baby.     The dryer in the hotel doesn't dry your clothes this was a bigger than normal turn off to me after being wet being in the texas floods for 2 days prior to checking in. Also i got there a little after 3 and my room was not available... also normally not a big deal but was disappointing due to be wet and just wanting to get dry. The staff was super nice and very polite about everything. Breakfast was mediocre but edible.

    A really great value for your dollar. The whole property very obviously was renovated or is new. The rooms look really nice and are comfortable and pristine. Even the A/C was so quiet, thankfully. Breakfast was good quality and had variety. It’s in a fantastic location for anyone attending events at the Credit Union center.

    When I checked in the lady was rude. I ask about my discount which she said we do not give any. The air in our room DIDNT work & the lady said I would have to move rooms they had no one to check it. My elderly Mother was not able to change rooms!     Don't let the bargain price deter you. This place is as good as many nearby for quite a bit less. The room was clean, everything worked. The building is near 75 Central Expressway, but you can't hear traffic, day or night, at least from the rooms I've stayed in. No complaints about this stay or my previous ones.

    As you would assume with any property under renovation. The hotel was missing a few amenities, however it did not take away from the over all stay. Few things water takes a bit to get hot on the ends of the Hotel (management should look into) the Hot tube could use a little TLC but the over all stay was nice. The bed was harder than we normally like, but we were able to sleep well. The room looked as advertised very spacious! Would stay here again! The breakfast all though simple was enough for the price, eggs( rehydrated) sausage patties, biscuits and gravy. Fruit , cereal, oatmeal,waffles juice and coffee. We were over all happy 8/10!

    Food during breakfast was consistently being refilled during its hours, which also tasted great! We got served hot foods eggs, sliced sausage, breakfast potatoes, and there were many cereal options. We got to drink fresh coffee and orange juice. Extra toiletries, such as toilet paper, was always available for us at the front desk. Rooms were supplied with generous amount of towels as well, given we were there for six days total. Given the low price, we were able to hear people going in and out of their rooms, but was a great stay given that we were constantly out of our room throughout the day. Unfortunately, during our stay, there were scattered ants around the coffee maker/fridge area, so every so often we would have to kill a couple of ants. We had a smell hint of spilled coffee and put two and two together. Overall, for having a fridge and microwave available in the room, it was expected but something that can be easily fixed for next time. Overall, comfy bed and many pillows provided made up for a pleasant stay. Thank you Texas!

    We weren’t able to use the tv. It had to be connected to Internet but we were never able to get it connected. Mini fridge was barely cold. They did offer to swap us rooms, but it was a pet friendly room. Spoke to another guest on the 4th floor and they couldn’t use their tv either, so not sure swapping would have mattered. Breakfast was great. Close to shopping and the Allen Center which is where we were for an event.

    Overall, it was OK. We were there for 10 nine night's we asked for toiletries towels. We asked them to clean our room after our fourth night there with no success. Their excuse was the hotel was too busy and they did not schedule our Cleaning spoke to the supervisor twice he promised to send out towels never got them after six night needed more toilet paper. We had to go get it because they had not enough staff when we asked to get the room cleaned a day before.

    Three night stay. Hotel is mismanaged and going downhill. We’ve stayed many times but never again. Rude when we asked for housekeeping. Which we were promised and didn’t receive housekeeping services even one time. No fresh towels for day 2 and 3. They were literally out of towels each time we asked in the morning and evening. Bathtub was dirty. Floor was coming up and dangerous in the bedroom. Ice machine was broken all 3 nights. Gym was unusable all three nights and piled with chairs. Staff was extremely rude. We heard them having to apologize to other patrons for different issues all three mornings we were near the desk having our breakfasts. Find somewhere else to stay. Don’t stay where you aren’t appreciated and they don’t manage the property.

    The rooms were surprisingly big or the tall ceilings of it gave it that effect and it was a very upkept property! If I had anything bad to say it would only be to update the laundry area where there are more washers and dryers available

    I usually skip these reviews but I want to make sure you are prepared when you go to this property. The hotel was good and the room was fine the only problem I had was that there appeared to be several people hanging around the lobby and food area that may not have been staying there. We also noticed there was a lot of people who appear to be staying there that are long term residents. I had no problem with that but this isn't a traditional travelers only hotel. Also, if you are bringing a pet be aware that there is an additional $25 pet fee per night.
