    After checking in we went up to the room and it was a complete mess. We went back to the front desk informed them the room was not cleaned. He apologized and said we would get an upgrade. We received our new key and headed up to the room. It wasn't an upgrade, same room different floor. The A/C unit worked however, it made a whistling noise before it would come on and after it would shut off. Needless to say, we didn't get a good night's sleep. One bath towel had black stains on it, the coffee maker had coffee, creamer and sweetener however, nothing to stir with. The ironing board had duc tape on the feet. The door was missing the right side of the door frame molding. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again.

    Driving up to the property, we immediately knew the hotel is not maintained. The signage in front of the property said “hotel” not Yuma Inn and Suites, just “hotel.” We checked in and removed the top layer of bed comforter. On both beds we saw human hair on the sheets. On one bed there were yellow spots and what appeared to be a dirt mark from a shoe. Further, there was a used bandage on the carpet. Clearly, the housekeeper failed to change the bed sheets. I was very disappointed, packed my bags and for the safety of my family we reserved a room at another hotel. I showed the front receptionist the images I captured with my phone and told him we were checking out. Although I appreciate him offering me another room, I was not convinced, based on my observations, of not just my room, but the entire property, that there is a serious failure on the part of management to keep this property clean and safe for their customers. Never again!

    Clean rooms, some a bit dated, we as a family had 3 rooms, love the suite with kitchen. Staff are helpful and understanding. Grandkids love the pool. And breakfast included with stay is great.

    The room was clean and well-kept with no issues. The only downside was the AC took a little while to cool down, but it eventually got comfortable. Parking was easy and convenient. Overall, the customer service really stood out. Alex was professional, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth. I’ll definitely consider staying here again next time I’m in Yuma.     Everything was amazing like always a second time there the pool was fun to be in and the Jacuzzi was relaxing and the gym and sauna is always a great addition to this hotel. I am a little disappointed that the owners are changing, but I still hope that they continue to have the same amenities as as well as great customer service 10 out of 10

    Wonderful, friendly staff! The hotel rooms are comfortable and cozy, but are in need of an upgrade. The bathroom was pretty clean, but also in need of an upgrade. The bath towels were old and ratty, and in need of replacing. All-in-all, I had a good experience. I would stay here again.

Which the pool was cold not heated at all and the hot tub was dirty and not working. There was a dead cat sitting in a chair by the pool.     The property is located in a prime location. It was rundown. Many of the lightbulbs in our room didn’t even turn on. The pool was slimy green and the hot tub had muck in it. We didn’t even stay the night. We left and went to the hotel across the street.

    It was close to the freeway and downtown. The hot tub was the only reason I booked this room and it wast working. I would have been more comfortable in an Airbnb but none of them had hot tubs. Based on the pictures, the Yuma inn has the best looking hot tub. I booked this room 2 days from my stay. They knew the hot tub wasn’t working but still had the pictures on their website of it.

    It is very private and clandestine in a way. I got the Desert Suite and it was very spacious and has all commodities. I did not like that my room had so many flies. We had to open the sliding door for a while but no luck.

We had an event to attend within the hour but we're told if we wanted to check-in early would have to pay an extra $30.00.     AC in my room didn’t work. Couldn’t be moved as the hotel was full. Staff stated maintenance would look at the AC the next day. When asked if they got the AC working, I was told they didn’t have maintenance on the weekends. They finally “upgraded” us the next night to another room. The new room looked the same, other than some decorative pillows and an extra bar of soap and the AC did work. Staff also stated the had been having issues in the past with that rooms old rooms AC in the past at checkout.

    Staff was efficient and pleasant. Entire property is in bad shape. Wallpaper peeling in my room. Could not set the AC below 75 in a place where it gets to be 123 degrees. None of the exterior doors had key card entry on them, they were just unlocked 24/7 and that hotel is close to the freeway. When I booked my room I was under the impression that I was booking a room at a Shilo Inn. The website still showed it as a Shilo Inn property. I was not happy when I found out it was no longer a Shilo.

    The pool wasn't heated, jacuzzi was out of order and empty. The room carpet was stained and dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We only had 1 washcloth and the room smelled like cigarettes. Very disappointing. The beds are very uncomfortable and made our back and necks hurt.

    This place is completely wore out. The bath towels were thread bare and small. No Ice bucket. Wall paper falling off the walls. The only good thing I can say is we had an excellent young man check us in and out. I wanted to tell him he was too good for this hotel and should hire out elsewhere. I will never go back to this hotel

    Keep expectations low and you’ll be happy. The room didn’t have a remote for the tv, so I requested one, the ice bin was not there and “housekeeping was gone” so I couldn’t get ice. Wallpaper peeling, air conditioner made a lot of noise, lower end, but the bed was comfortable.

The young man at night working front desk yelled at me when I asked if there was a hair dryer. kept saying I'll change your room, but all I wanted was a dryer for morning. 1 white wash cloth with brown spots was all we were allowed. Asked for more towels and were told there weren't going to be more ever! No soap, or any extras. jacuzzi, steam, sauna don't work! Sheets had spots! Next morning we thought they would at least have coffee. It was old and no cream of any kind available. A lady found a few packs of dry cream in a closet. One nice lady told us they were having problems getting paid to work. WE LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT AND LOST THE MONEY FOR THE SECOND NIGHT. We were afraid after a man kept checking all room doors with a random key. You owe me money! So unsatisfied. Check online the Shilo Inns and don't stay in any. They are bank rupt.

    Noticed the laundry room on the way to the elevator, that one of the washers obviously didn't work, as it way turned around backwards, and unplugged. Made it to the room, and found the microwave oven randomly sitting unplugged on a table, and the TV unplugged laying on the screen, the window wide open, and the A/C on, not blowing cold, and the room had a very bad smell. The front desk moved us to a suite, and the smell was wort than the original room, the carpet in the hallways, and rooms appeared to have had cattle headed through them!! Do not stay here, this property is in very big financial trouble!

    Noticed the laundry room on the way to the elevator, that one of the washers obviously didn't work, as it way turned around backwards, and unplugged. Made it to the room, and found the microwave oven randomly sitting unplugged on a table, and the TV unplugged laying on the screen, the window wide open, and the A/C on, not blowing cold, and the room had a very bad smell. The front desk moved us to a suite, and the smell was wort than the original room, the carpet in the hallways, and rooms appeared to have had cattle headed through them!! Do not stay here, this property is in very big financial trouble!

    The room was dirty and that when you walk on the floor after taking a shower, your feet change color also I had to have someone come up and unclog. The sink in the bathtub was a super slow drain so I think it’s plugged up too the meds that were working cleaning the room for wonderful they did a great job But in the future, I won’t stay there need some updating lots of update in.

    The room that I was assigned smelled like mold and there were spiders! And many spider webs on the sliding door. I report it to the front, and I was given another room on the second floor. That was a little better, at least it had no spiders however, I had to removed excessive hair from the shower drain since the water was not draining. I also report it. Anyways, overall, it was quite and the staff tried to assist me in the best way she could. She had no idea why I was given the room that smelled like mold since it had flooded and the carpet smelled!

I did notice a lot of areas throughout the hotel that could be repaired. Not so much in the rooms itself, but just the hallway area or the elevator doors. The breakfast is a grab and go just like muffins, juice, water, coffee, not so much of a complementary breakfast. The pool area is really big. One thing I could say is that they had great customer service. They made me feel welcome from the time of check in till I checked out. So kudos to the employees I came across through my stay.

    The Shilo Yuma advertised quality accommodations...it is anything but. The pool and deck area were filthy. Tall weeds growing between the deck expansion joints. The room offered thread bare towels and toilet paper for facial tissue. The tv is ANALOG..there are water leak stains on the celing...thd wallpaper is peeling off.....the grounds are run down and in disrepair..the advertised breakfast was a grab and go stale muffin...the entire experience was a huge disappointment.

Area around property wasn't the cleanest and some parts of the structure needed repair/attention, Still it was a comfortable stay that I would gladly repeat.     The bed was lumpy and uneven, the freezer door was unable to close due to the buildup of frozen water, the vending machines took our money lol definitely would not stay there again.

    I called a head of booking to confirm they had a heated pool as well as a hot tub and that they work, because I seen reviews from two years ago that say it didn’t work and that it was dirty, so I thought I’d check and that surely by now everything was fixed, so anyway she said yes yes heated pool and hot tub working, then upon arrival I again asked another worker at check in and she said yes again on all questions. I went and checked as soon as I unloaded everything from the car as that is the only reason we got this hotel for the kids to swim in warm water… and guess what??? Pool was dirty, full of leaves, and it smelled bad like mildew, it was cold, the hot tub had only 5in of water in it and black sitting dirty water that looked like it had been there awhile. I did go to the front desk and told her how I found it, she claim the maintenance man said it’s supposed to be heated and it must be turned off, and that she forgot to tell me that yesterday the hot tub stopped working- she held to that even though I told her well it’s been not working as the water is black like it’s been sitting there forever. Then things just kept getting worse…. No towels, shampoo, or conditioner in room. No TV Remote, you have to get up and push the buttons on TV. Could not turn AC off, unless you unplug it, so that means no heater either. Keys would keep stop working even after she fixed it the first time, and someone had to constantly be inside to let you in. Room was clean & hot water!

    I’ve stayed at this property and enjoyed it, but we were told that the pool would be heated and it was cold. The Jacuzzi was not working as well. We were not happy. But then we were able to check out a day early and the GSA was very friendly and attentive.

    night clerk was bored with her job and not helpful until we moved in to our room and found that the sink was plugged up and filthy. She quickly found a room next door and came up to give us the keys. Service was great once we told her we had a problem with our room

    We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay here again. It may not be for everyone, it's an older hotel & you see areas that need repair or maintenance, breakfast is basic. We needed a place where we could have space to relax with our 2 dogs, and this was perfect. Beautiful gardens that are big enough for a nice walk. Large pool. Spacious room, clean & fresh smelling, comfy beds, new fridge & microwave, ceramic cups for coffee. Alex and Jasmine at the desk were kind & helpful.

    Do not be mislead by the photos. This property if filthy, the pool and hot tub are NOT safe to swim in. The place should be torn down and the health department should red tag it. Never again!

    room lacked basics... no soap, Kleenex, and fewer towels than number of guests. The free breakfast... just coffee and vending machine pastry... no fruit, tea, bagels, cereal, etc that you would expect. Toilets not ADA height.

    When we left Yuma for San Diego, I promptly also left my husband's favorite pajamas. When we rolled back through Yuma on the way home a few days later, the staff graciously had his gear stowed and ready for us to pick up. I am SO GRATEFUL they kept them for us! Top notch housekeeping staff.

    Our room only had a single towel when we arrived. On our way out to supper world the desk clerk that we needed towels, wash towels and face towels. Came back and found they delivered 1 more towel and only 1 hand and face towel. Very ragged. Air conditioner was very noisy. No hairdryer Room was falling apart.

    We stay several times yearly and seem to be put in older rooms. On 3/4, we were given a room with no clean sheets on the bed. They gave us another room, in which the toilet overflowed. The third room had wallpaper rolling off the walls.

    Employees were nice enough, but no results. We asked for a washcloth 2 times, then bought one ourselves. They said they didn't have any. The "Grab & Go" breakfast was always gone. Even when we got there early. The rooms need upgrading. Our blinds were broken & we couldn't shut them.

    This Hotel should be condemned by the City. Card readers for door do not work. Trash outside in the Dumpster Overflowing. Dirty Carpet. Wall Paper peeling off all walls. Only half water pressure in Shower. Flys sticking on the walls. Elavator is Dirty.

    I went to the front desk an found out that the hotel emailed the home office and they ignored the request for soap! The ice machine was out or order and fournd out later that the machine had been not working for months. I asked the front desk to have the owner call me and never got from management. Too bad---Shilo inns used to be a good place to stay. If you google Shilo inns you will find out that the State of Washington is taking legal action for non payment of back taxes. The front desk confirmed that the company is going broke. They are off my list of places to stay.

    I wish I write a positive review but this place is nothing as what they advertise. This place isn’t well maintained, carpet filthy, hallways smell awful. The a/c in the unit was very loud, wallpaper peeling off the walls, bedding was awful, mattresses were old and unleveled. I do not recommend to anyone. Place doesn’t feel safe.

    It was okay. They advise a bar and restaurant on premises but they don't have either. You have to go next door to Angry Crab which is pretty pricey. I feel they are trying to capitalize on the crab place. Breakfast is a joke!

    The second room had a toilet seat anchored by one bolt… You could pivot the toilet seat off the toilet by almost 8” Sink stopper was broken off. Carpet in room and elevator was dirty and stinky. Very run down overall.

    At check in, the young man made sure we had a room close to a door to accommodate our senior dog. We have stayed at the Shilo many times and find it in a great location for our needs. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet.

    The staff were very nice, very helpful. The grounds are very nice except for a broken sprinkler head in the dog exercise area. That was flooded. The room itself had clean linens and was spacious and did not smell badly like the hallway on the 3rd floor. The swimming pool was lovely looking and it was pleasant to sit in the gazebo next to the dog run area. The Shilo Inn has great potential and at one time it was probably excellent. Now it really needs some money and work invested to restore it. The hallway outside my room had a bad smell of...mold? Disinfectant over mold? That fortunatly didn't carry into the room. The airconditioner/heater fan was so noisy that it woke me up every time it cycled on. I could not open the window so had to leave it on.

    Not the best choice for sure. Price was good but there was no breakfast and the coffee they put out was mostly empty. The maids never brought clean towel. Twice I had to go ask for towels. We stayed 4 nights and the sheets were never changed. We still had the room booked for 2 more nights but we checked out and moved to another motel.

    The room we were given was not made up. The staff quickly reassigned us to a new room. It was in overall great shape, but did have cobwebs in the one corner. Overall this was a good experience.
