This hotel has become our new "go-to" when passing through Yuma on our way to Tucson. We've stayed here twice, and both times our room has been clean, quiet and comfortable. The AC has worked great (a must!), and the property is easy to access from the freeway. It's close to restaurants, coffee shops and gas stations. An excellent choice if you're looking for a basic motel.

Negatives: The website photo of the room was misleading; I chose this motel initially because of the attractive colorful bedspread and curtains, but our so-described “deluxe” room had none of these. The room had all the basics, but there were no frills, such as a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, or any extra pillows (only two were provided). The two chairs were wooden, made for utility rather than comfort.

The staff were very professional and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. And the location was great. I wish they had more channels on the tv. And to able to use a firestick to stream movies as well.

The bathroom towels were the size of diapers, inadequate. No shampoo or conditioner. No bathtub mat to prevent slips. There was trash around the outside.

We were in town only for the weekend and chose to stay here because we were traveling with our dogs. While the rooms weren’t top-tier, we’d still consider staying here again. Overall, our stay was a good experience, and we have zero complaints. We’re glad we found an affordable option with a welcoming pet policy that makes visiting family easier and less stressful.

The pool was dirty and cold. The room itself was mediocre. Our room key stopped working six or seven times in a row, and the bed was extremely u comfortable, the pillows were lumpy.

The room was clean, and the young lady behind the desk was Very friendly and provided excellent service. I would also say that you get what you pay for.

It was cheap but the bedding smelled good and the floor and sink seemed clean. There were new wrapped cups. But no coffee, shampoo, or hair dryer. The walls were filthy and there was a strong smoke odor and the bedding and towels were as thin as can be. The pool looked fine and the grounds were neat with flowers and even a couple stray cats. Several people had pets because pets are free. It was in an excellent location, right off the freeway with shops and restaurants all around.

First night we stayed there the sheets didn’t fit the bed so at middle of night all bunch up under my body . There was bird crap on sidewalk in front of room. A guy was washing down the rocks but left the bird crap on the walk . I would never stay there every again

This location is very outdated, it looks like it’s a campground for homeless people. The air conditioner semi worked however it was so loud. It was hard to sleep. The floors were dirty, and there were flies everywhere in the room, the microwave didn’t work the refrigerator worked, but the freezer portion did not. It was pretty much a disaster.

I gave this a 5-star on all items because you get what you pay for. It was amazingly cheap in terms of price and you got a room that was great for a nights stay and accepted pets without a charge. You couldn't ask for more for the price.

The bed looked like someone had slept in it the nite before. Talked with another guest and he said the same thing. No charger outlets at all - had to go and purchase a plug in for iphone The refrigerator that I paid extra for had no freezer...thats the reason I chose that room

Normally it's a decent stay at this Motel 6, but this time around, it wasn't very great. They put me in a large accessible room, which was great, but it was pretty dirty. There were brown smears on the shower curtain, dry wall flaking off, scratches all over the floor, human hair on the door, and the people above me were so loud with their walking around that I had trouble sleeping.

This room was just a place to sleep due to long travel. Reviews stated the property was good on cleanliness. It may have just been our room but cleanliness was not good. There was a small hole in the bathroom door, stains on the walls all. Around the room, tub had stains. Overall the room looked as if someone just wiped things off but didn’t truly clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. First and last time I will be staying at a Motel 6.

No microwave, No Frig, No Tissues, not cleaned well, other guests looked as if they were living long term with dog. Air conditioner was kind of loud and rickety but worked. There were transcends hanging out and going through trash cans. Car horns and highway traffic noise. It was a 3 night stay with no room service and no clean towels

Run down property needing significant updating. AC unit needs to be cleaned as I’m still suffering with allergies 12 hrs after leaving the hotel. Only redeeming quality is the price point.

The property was very clean and rooms will maintained. Laundry and vending on site. I needed a little extra time at checkout and it was no problem for them to accommodate me.

I requested a non smoking room and was placed next to a smoking room where the smoke came into my room. Also the pillows on the bed looked slept on and when I asked for more, they were full of cigarette smoke.

The hotel staff was great. The hotel location-not so good. This hotel is located NEXT to the freeway, so plenty of road noise and people checking in going to their rooms all night. The room was clean and decent condition. The mattress was terrible. Next time, I won't stay so close to the freeway. You get what you pay for.

Loud squeaky floor noise from the second floor every time someone was walking around. No water faucet access to fill the bath tub, only the handicap shower head which took 10 minutes plus to fill the tub. We did not request the handicap room. Our room key stopped working on the second day, had to go to the office and rekeyed.

No thrills here… but it gets the job done! You can’t beat the price and the location is prime. They are very consistent with cleaning your room. And it was great to have the option to pay with a credit card or cash. Customer Service stands out with their hospitality.

First of all there was dog hair under the bed it smelled like straight bleach when we went in the room then when that smell went away you could smell the odor or a dog, they should have a specific set of rooms for people with animals because i am a person who is allergic to pet hair. Unfortunately, this Motel 6 was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. If it wasn’t for such a late arrival I would have requested a refund and left. Room was dated, dirty, stained couch. Filthy floor. It was a terrible experience. Staff was apologetic but did not offer any resolutions.

The bed was absolutely awful. It should have been thrown out along time ago. You could feel the springs. Asked for a wake up call, never received one.

It was an old motel 6. The shower was a bit rusty and water pressure was weak. My daughter liked the bed but I had no opinion about it. The motel is right by the freeway but I didn’t hear cars. But I did hear trucks leaving super early (5am on Saturday) and that was one of the downside. Check in was easy. The place meets expectations for the price we paid for

I usually stay here 2 times per year. they are very pet friendly and the airconditioning works very well. THe girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I needed a ground floor room with a refrigerator which I requested on line. They were going to place me in a second story room but when I told her the situation with my elderly dog and the stairs not good for her because of spinal surgery she placed me in the handicapped room on the ground floor.

It wasn’t available when we got there and we had to be upstairs!! That was dangerous for us and it put a strain on us wanting to come and go so we left early!! Also the room smelled strongly of the bleach cleaner you use the whole time we were there! 3:00 pm to 8:00am

Very disappointed. Dated but essentials missing like no clock in room, no easy chair for relaxing watching tv. Only chairs were 2 wooden straight back chairs for eating at small table so had to watch tv sitting on the bed. No coffee maker, Kleenex or extra blanket. Would not recommend or stay here again.

I always get 2 keys, but the clerk gave me one. Of course, it didn’t open the door , and u confirmed I was at the right room. Now I know why it’s called luggage. Lugged my suitcase and laptop back to the car, went to the front desk and explained the situation. She gave me a new room, and I asked for 2 keys. Lugged my suitcase up the stairs again to the new room. No apology, just “here you go”. I’ll pass on this place in the future. Too many other choices close by.

Room was clean, AC works. Staff was great nice and happy. Quiet at night. Theres no kids smoking or party outside like other places. The only thing about the room was bed was not comfortable and the hand sink did not work properly. Needed to wash hands at the bathtub. Other then that i would go back.

I found this place to be a great place to stay. It felt safe and convenient. And the staff were very friendly. During my stay I did run into an insect issue. My bed sheets had two black carpet beetle in the sheets and approx 4 flys in the room. I sincerely did not expect that issue. I removed the beetles and killed the flys. Also the pillow itself was very heavily used (looked dirty) as for the pillow cover appeared cleaned.

I dont speak Spanish so I had a hard time communicating with management and the maids. I had heat exhaustion, not because if them, but tried to get some help and they just shrugged their shoulders. I used my card for a $2.75 washing machine and it took off $10 from my card. After several tries the manager understood and told that in about 24 hours the amount taken would change to $2.75 or $3.00. She said sometimes they cgarge $3.00. No sign or anything tell the customers how it works. I was there for 3 nights. When I asked for fresh towels I was told to go to the front desk then was told to ask the maid. About 20 minutes later I did get towels. To me it was a disaster.

Very central location. loved having easy access access to mall and anywhere we wanted to go. Front desk was helpful. Enjoyed the pool. Could use some updates of the property in general and some pool loungers. We were pleased with our stay. Great value for location and facilities.

Simple roadside place to sleep.

You get a budget room so you get budget neighbors that seem like they live there. I was awakened at 3:30 in the morning buy the sound of a cat being malled by a dog, and a woman screaming, because she allowed her cat to be outside, and there was someone who couldn't control their cane corso, which got away from them. It's great that they except dog's but the bathroom area for them is not well maintained. The trash receptical where you put the bag of poo was overflowing, for those of us that actually pick up after our dogs. After my last visit I have decided to pay a little extra for a better quality room.

The front desk attendant was super sweet! It was so easy I just went right in and my key was waiting for me. I will be staying again when i’m in town.

The staff was very friendly, the location was fine, the photos must be very outdated because everything else about the property was old, worn down, dirty. Dirty sheets with cigarette holes on the bed, bath sink was falling apart and barely holding on, worn out mattress and pillows, it just felt dirty.

It’s an older property, but for the price I can’t complain. When I leave I’ll give a few suggestions to them

When I arrived, I was standing outside in 100-degree-plus weather. I took about 5 minutes for the clerk to recognize me. After requesting me to fill out information the hotel should already have, he assigned me a room. I had to walk past several bags of trash sitting outside to get to my room. When I got to it, the room was literally torn apart. Cartons stacked in the room - shelving half built, no bedding on the matress. I went back - was assigned another room. Walked past more construction debry. That room was clean. The bed was actually comfortable. I won't be booking rooms at motel 6 again.

Honestly, it's just a super friendly, safe, and convenient location (from the airport), as well as price! The staff is always available, even past midnight, and the room cleaning is available every day - whether you want it or not 😂 I would like to offer a gentle suggestion to Motel 6 in this regard, that it would be better to have "do not disturb" & "do not clean" door tags available for guests to set on their doorknobs, that cleaning staff could pay attention to. Otherwise, it is always a perfectly fine experience with Motel 6 at this location! Thanks for providing all of the hot water I needed 🙂🙏

This is the quietest Motel 6 I have been to in a long time. I did not hear the people on either side of me. It is clean and in a good area.

The room was not very clean with bacon bits (not ours) in the corners, dead bugs in the bathroom and cat hair on the pillows. The positive was that the AC worked very well and the price was cheap.

It was a very peaceful trip

I enjoy using a facilities swimming pool and they have a decent one. But this trip the pool was monopolized by what I highly suspect to be non-guests. Possibly the children of employees. And the motel has to know because the pool is next to the office and you can’t help but see and hear them. Then As a result of their overuse it was closed for 1.5 days to shock it after the kids were in it for like six hours straight. Then on my last day it was finally opened and not full of people for hours and hours continually on end, and I was able to enjoy a dip and had to skim the styrofoam cup pieces floating on the surface. Then they showed up, again, around 4pm and at 930 they were waiting for a ride out front. I hate to publically complain but it is very inconsiderate for people to drop their kids off and leave them for six hours or whatever. It’s not a public swimming pool. And then the pool has to be shocked the next day. Out of four days I had one swim.

I always stay at this hotel when going through Yuma. There are a lot of cats here so if your dog doesn’t like cats be conscious of that.

Cold water was hot and hot was cold…very low pressure, air conditioning ok, no vent fan in commode/tub/shower/ old run down, pool closed, urine smell down near laundry…

If it’s summer the pool should be running properly. I understand things happen but it’s ridiculous. Also, having a room with a microwave was $10 extra dollars. If the power wasn’t out at the Howard Johnson, I wouldnt have ended up having to stay at this over priced motel 6.

Quiet place, next to freeway but still quiet. We've stayed several times and will be back.

I had a decent stay there. It's a typical Motel 6. No frills, but no complaints. I asked not to stay on the West side facing the highway and where a lot of birds were squeaking. The desk clerk let me stay in the quiet middle section, and I got a good night's sleep

The first room I was in half of the electrical outlets did not work. No where to plug in my phone or laptop. The second "non smoking room" reaked with smoke smell. The third room for which I finally stayed in had crackes in the bathroom sink, the bathtub floor had been puddie over or something it had black specks and was terrible. Thirdly, ALL the electrical outlets were coming off the wall. Finally, the clientele was less than desireable. It was actually a little scary so I did not go out at night. Finally It was the worst placed I've stayed in 50 years of travel. HOW this place rates at an 8 is beyond me.

Area is dingy. Property is dingy. Druggies and bum fights--awesome. First room I was given--the door wouldn't lock, someone left toilet paper sticking out of the peep hole. The property and rooms are pretty funky. The staff is pleasant enough.

I really liked I got a room that was really close to my parking. The room was clean. The maid service did really well.

Right next to the Interstate with a Denny’s out front. Rooms are basic with not much more than a bed and bathroom. OK for a one night stopover.

Heater didn't work, phone making dial tone even after attempting to set correctly into cradle. Finally just unplugged the thing. Freeway nose on that side is loud! Not too mention the dog barking all night and owner not shutting it up at 02- 0530. Asked to be switched but was told no more rooms. Canceled and went somewhere else.

the tv doesn’t work even after calling front desk

I was disappointed for the fact that the water from the water faucet came out so hard it made a mess. The water was everywhere. Also couldn’t get comfortable because the freeway was so close and so loud it felt like our bed was on the freeway couldn’t sleep and so frustrated. We ended up leaving early like 12 midnight.

Stayed for one night and the room itself was neat and clean! Room smelled fresh, showers/bathroom areas were clean as well! Shady area around but overall good!

The lobby stank so terribly I chose to stand outside in the freezing cold wind and check in through the window. I stood there almost 10 minutes with my teeth chattering while the attendant chatted with someone then took my I'd then I stood around for several minutes more before she informed me she couldn't use the internet system to check me in so I needed to come inside the lobby. I said I couldn't because it stinks so badly and she said the room smell just as bad. That was the last straw. I left.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Location great for dining, gas and shopping. Close to highway and access to Los Algodones for dental work.

Booked a deluxe room with fridge and microwave. Was told on arrival that I have been given a Deluxe room but mine doesn't have a fridge or microwave and he doesn't know why. I was told I would have to cancel the booking or get a rate adjustment from Expedia because they can't do anything. Was stuck at 1am and took the room without the amenities I paid for.

Front office landscape is nice but the rest of the property needs care

For a necessary and budget friendly two week stay, I was very satisfied. The room was clean, shower/ bath worked well. Really liked the laminate floors for cleanliness purposes vs. carpet. The bed was comfortable. Initially had flat pillows but these were replaced with big fluffy ones. The staff were always sweet and accommodating.

Very convenient for a dental visit to Los Aglodones. Bed was comfortable. I just needed a king size.

As always ~motel 6 is an overall good place to stay in Yuma. The rooms are generally clean-ish and the beds are normally satisfactory.

TV had 5 channels that work...I called office and they sent a tech who not only didn't speak English but had NO IDEA what to do about the TV. ICE machine ice was filthy as I could see the grime in my glass in the AM. Last the beds shown in the photos DO NOT represent the piece of crap I had to try and sleep on. There a quite a few hotels in area and I would suggest you choose one of them...

The cable tv would go out at 0930 hours on three straight days we were there. Cable would come back hour or so after I called front desk.

Overall clean and convenient to stores and restaurants but i wouldn't stay again R/T horrible bed and perception of sketchy individuals hanging out in parking lots and under stairwells.

I appreciated the location of the Motel 6 in Yuma, across from the large mall of stores and restaurants. It was ideal for breaking up my drive southern Arizona. I will probably book here again.

The sink faucet blasted with high pressure when turned on, splashing water everywhere. Great rates, though.

A box of tissue might have been nice. The little paper with the hand-written room number, which also included info for access to your WiFi was incorrect. It required a call to your support team to get the correct password. Boo.

I’d say you get what you pay for, but it’s honestly worse than that. There is nasty brown gunk on the walls and the doors. One of the bolts in the door was completely loose and just hanging out. The bathroom fan (which is connected to the light so they both have to be on) squeaks horribly. The tub is stained and parts of the enamel are rubbed away. We were woken up in the morning to a chainsaw or wood chipper or some godawful noise. And the downstairs neighbors had TWO horribly noisy dogs that barked for HOURS. No coffee maker in the room. We were told upon arrival that fridge and microwave COST EXTRA. Don’t stay here.

No one advised that kitchen items were available for use in our unit during our stay. Really didn’t like to have to do our own linen and towel change and sweeping the floors.

The fan in the room was scraping and made so much noise that I could not sleep. The Front Desk, Martha, told me that the only solution was to pack, and move to another hotel. It is now 11:08 PM.

I will return next year

Since my dentist is in Lowe’s, Algodones, this is a very inexpensive and decent place to stay. I mostly stay here because dogs stay for free, which is a really good convenience for my little Brussels griffon.

this is a convenient and nice place to stay for one night while en route. I travel this route often, and this is a good halfway point. I think this is the 3rd of 4th time I've stayed here, and this time I even got the same room as last time! I have not had Yuma as a final destination, so don't know what other amenities and dining is around. But this Motel 6 suits my purpose perfectly.

A good bargain option close to lots of great restaurants, and easy to get pretty much anywhere from here. Could use an extra blanket in the room as it is just a blanket between two sheets. However we just turned up the heat and we were comfortable. Towels were also a bit of an issue as even though we had double occupancy we only ever got 1 towel. Overall you get what you pay for and it was a GOOD BARGAIN OPTION.

We left after only staying 4 of the 10 nights booked and paid for. We went to stay in another hotel to feel safe and be able to sleep. We booked through Expedia but no communication with them to receive some kind of rebate of the 10 days.
