Hotel was very well maintained and clean. I used the laundry and the machines were clean and worked well. There was a good variety at breakfast.

Families enjoy the free breakfast and BBQ grills. The pool is huge and the water stays cold even in the summer.

This is my go to place in Yuma. I stop over for one night several times a year. I find it safe, quiet, and always well maintained with a cheerful staff. I think having the central interior patio with the gardens, pool, and bbq area make it seem like a private estate.

When I go to Yuma, I stay here. It used to be a chain of some sort, but the owners are now independent. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and modern. The breakfast is good for self-serve and they have a free happy hour. There is a grill station if you want to eat in. I didn't use the pool, but it is large and attractive. Kids would love it. And the prices are reasonable. Yuma is overflowing with hotels and more are being built. This place is a reason to try an independent operator.

Nice 'resort' like hotel, much nicer than other regular hotels with a pool. Overall very clean, very spacious room and very nice garden and pool/hot tub area. Breakfast was also good. Fresh strawberries Pool needed cleaning.

Stay is always nice and clean, showers and bathrooms are always well maintained in the rooms, beds are comfortable, the staff is always friendly, only drawback was a fan that wasn't properly secured to the ceiling and felt unsafe to turn on.

Upon entering the room the room looked okay, The Ac was cold but s little loud and hoped it would allow me too sleep. It didn't. We had to turn the HVAC off at night because of the noise and left the fan which actually worked adequately to keep us cool. When we left for our event we switched the AC to a different mode but on return it had made the room smell a little musty. The sofa seemed a little "overused" and could have used a cleaning. When walking from room to sink the carpet was a little torn up at the edge and was needing repair. When Showering the tub tended to creak when you stepped near the drain plug. No big deal for our room but I'm sure below it was amplified. When we finally got into bed the AC had to be turned off because of the noise and then the refrigerator start making of and on noised every 30 minutes, It kept me up all night. I didn't turn

It was all I expected and more! Staff, including maintenance and janitorial and front desk were so friendly and attentive! We lived the pool and that we were near it!

Check in was early and was accommodating and pleasant. Upon check in each guest gets beverage coupons to use at “Happy Hour” ( 5 to8pm). My room was clean and prepared very nicely. Multiple USB’s and electric outlets. WI-FI is provided at no cost. Access to near by restaurants is outstanding. No need to drive, a five minute walk allows a dozen possible choices, from Dennys, next door to many large chain restaurants. Excellent on & off to Interstate 8. A full breakfast is provided, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurts, coffee, tea, multiple juices, and fresh fruit. The pool was clean and the patio is neat and comfortable. Also BBQ grills are available at no cost, and they are,,,Clean!

It’s great for the price, my only complain is the overwhelming smell of cheaper cleaning fluid in the lobby. I’m not someone who is sensitive to that kind of thing so for it to be an issue for me says just how bad it was. Couldn’t be in there for more than 10 mins without feeling ill.

Basic amenities like towels, toilet paper, and napkins were low quality and did not meet expectations. Additionally, the photos online are misleading and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the hotel. The arrangement of the facilities around the pool and BBQ area. We were able to set up our own group BBQ bringing the food, beverages and stuff from outside the hotel. The room smelled a little bit and the A/C was not on when I arrived, even if I did my online check-in providing arrival time.

We were happy with the size of the king bedroom suite. The living room area had a couch, chair, end tables, lamps, small desk and mounted tv. The bedroom had a door with plenty of space around the bed, dresser and another tv. The shower had nice tile too. The pool area looked nice but it was too chilly and windy for us to enjoy. We also took part in the breakfast.

The breakfast was good but limited in variety. My biggest complaint is hill the room was clean, it smelled very musty to the point where I had to go out and buy some air freshener. The shower and the sink by the coffee maker had drainage problems.

It was wonderful, this is now going to be our hotel next year, and the staff were so friendly. We noticed that a few people we talked to stay here for a month at a time, so that says something about the place.

This was a great value! The pool area was fabulous with very comfortable loungers. It had a bit of a resort feel with the palm trees and plants in the courtyard surrounding it. Breakfast albeit the same every day there was a nice variety. The happy hour Monday - Thursday was really nice touch as well! Location you couldn’t beat either being right across from a large shopping area and the In and Out burger place!

The carpet in the room had a strong odor, hard to ignore. The mattress was old and in bad shape , impossible to stay on the corners with a hole-like on the center.

If you are passing through Yuma, i would recomend this property. It is older but has a great old southwest ora. Just off hywy 8 and close to many dinning optios and of course, the Yuma Territorial Prison of old.

2- The shower head has a problem, water sprays against the wall only. Hard to adjust the water head. 3- Night front desk clerk is overwhelmed with duties when there’s a need from guest. Better have 2 desk clerk, verses one.

I like how the central patio,pool garden area creates an ambiance just for the guests. With all the rooms facing the central core it becomes a private oasis to the outside world.

The room was clean, but it did smell like smoke even though it was a non-smoking. The staff are amazing and make a personal effort to make you feel at home. The breakfast is also very good with lots of variety to choose from. There are BBQ grills available for cooking your own food as well and the pool is private and quiet. We visited our parents there and they have enjoyed the hotel as their snowbird home for many years.

The grounds were pretty and the room was very nice too. My only complaint is that my room was upstairs and there’s no elevator. So after flying all day, landing at 10:00 pm and tired with health problems and 60 years old, I had to drag two heavy suitcases and my carryons up the stairs, which I was barely able to do, then repeat the process in the morning.

The hotel is old and needs updating badly. Everything in the room is beat up. There was mold all over the bottom of the shower. All the reviews of this hotel were 4 stars and above and must be fake. This hotel is 2 stars at best.

The room was clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. It was perfect for a stopover. My only small complaint was that the fridge did not have a freezer for my icepacks. Will stay again.

Hotel staff were warm and friendly. The grounds were lovely from the pool to the landscaping. Breakfast was well done and amenities were as promised. Room cleanliness was not what was expected. When I arrived there were orange medical pills scattered on the carpet by the bed and couch. There were also crackers and food residue on the floor and on the sofa. It looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed. There were also random nails of various sizes on the carpet by the couch. If I was not wearing shoes it would have been a night in the ER. It was incredibly dangerous. In the bathroom the ceiling and walls were buckled and peeling. Huge water stains on the walls and ceiling. Cracked tiles and Mold in the shower. It felt unclean to get clean. Super dirty shower. Not a good feeling at all. I would not return to the hotel based on the lack of cleanliness and health risk entering the room. I’m sorry to say that because the property and staff have a nice property. It’s just you can’t easily stay in the room. I hope they clean it up for future guests and reviews.

One of the best stays in a long time for price point. The pool was nice and warm and when it got too chilly, the jacuzzi hit the spot. I will say the room was warm though, only complaint.

I love this place! Very reasonably priced and exceptionally clean and up to date. The breakfast was delicious! This will be my go-to going forward as a stop over when traveling from Tucson to San Diego or LA. My favorite thing was the bed. I have chronic insomnia but I slept like a baby on the extremely comfortable mattress. I would almost book a room just to take a nap 😂. Thank you to the very welcoming staff.

If you like super soft beds…this is your place! We personally don’t, so the sleep was not good, the pictures vs reality are much different, the hotel is older and the rooms smell stale. The water pressure in shower is poor

We came to Yuma for Dental appointments in Algodones. The location was convenient and good places to ear are nearby. The Staff were all very kind and pleasant. The pool area was great - I felt the temperature in the hot tub and pool were fine, but my husband could not get into the hot tub because it was quite hot. The rooms are updated, and the breakfast was standard for this type of hotel (coffee was pretty rough). We did not like that the noise from the 2nd floor was VERY loud (showing the age of the hotel) and the bed pillows were awful. We would probably stay again but bring our own pillows!

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The morning buffet was very good. The pool was cloudy and looked dirty so I didn't use it. The room was nicely furnished but had a really bad musty smell throughout the suite. The walls are super thin and the walkways are poorly lit, especially at night. The area around the hotel is extremely noisy, but you hardly hear anything when you're in your room. Please note that all of the rooms on the lower floors face the parking lot so you will always have a vehicle right outside of your window. The locked gates made me feel safe.

The airport shuttle AND the shuttle to Marietta Dental Care was outstanding and helped reduce stress. This was very much appreciated as my husband was ill. Additionally, staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were very kind and helpful. Thank you!

The best part of this property is the cleanliness. It is very well kept, but obviously a little old. The only issue I have with this property, is that their coffee sucks. Lol. I would definitely stay here again.

I woke up with the landscaper blowing the lawn at 10am and the check up time is at 12pm and I was not able to finish my sleep. It will be nice if they need to clean up they would do it at 12. Pm is when everyone need to check not 2 hours before.

La Fuente Inn & Suites in Yuma is a very solid choice, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a pleasant courtyard with a large pool and hot tub. The included hot breakfast and evening happy hour with drinks and snacks add great value, and parking feels easy and secure. Although the property is older and some rooms can get a bit of highway or A/C noise, overall the price–quality ratio is excellent and it is a place worth recommending for business or leisure stays in Yuma.

It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the stomping of our upstairs neighbors late at night. Either the walls/roofs are thin or some amazons were staying up stairs. Other than that when the stomping stopped the stay was excellent.

This hotel is always a pleasure to stay at. It is a well kept property with everything you need nearby. Always quiet and daily room service and friendly excellent front desk! All the amenities worked great! We always recommend this hotel.

The only down sides is that if you have a lot of luggage you have to go up and down the stairs which is no problem but would be difficult for someone with disabilities.

We did not eat the breakfast. The rooms are dated but very clean. Staff was fantastic. It was very noisy. Every time the people in the room above us walked around the floor creaked very loudly. You could hear people leaving in the morning rolling their bags along and talking. Not great sound insulation. I’m a sound sleeper but the noise woke me up repeatedly throughout the night.

Good location!

This hotel is the best hotel in Yuma. It’s always clean and fresh. The grounds are very nice. Has a nice pool and barbecues. And the service is always great.

Once inside the gates it felt like a little oasis. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic.

Clean room but uncomfortable bed

On a positive note the staff was polite, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and nice. The bed was not comfortable for both my wife and myself and we woke up with back aches. The grounds appear a bit unkempt. The security gate in the back would not close all the way by itself. By the positive reviews I was expecting something a little better than what I got. I won't be returning.

We stayed at La Fuente Hotel in Yuma for a quick overnight. We’ve stayed here before—it’s okay for a short stop—but this time the AC was terrible. It had a smell similar to an old swamp cooler. Since we only needed a place to sleep, we didn’t complain, but we’ve decided to stay elsewhere next time. The facility itself is grand and has potential, but it’s definitely in need of repair and upgrades. The staff, however, were lovely as always.

The staff were friendly and professional. The outdoor area was quiet and inviting. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast food; tasted fresh made and replenished often. Convenient location close to the freeway and easy to get to. Overall a nice place to stay.

I'm a repeat customer. I find the staff very nice and efficient, the rooms are clean and they have impeccable standard of maintenance. The hotel is always improving itself with fresh paint, decor and landscaping. I know there's lots of competition in the area but I find La Fuente a welcome oasis. I love the lay out of the patios, gardens and pool in the center of the building.

I filter where to stay by if there is a hot tub . Before I checked in, I asked if the hot tub was working and was informed it was. I made my reservation, checked in, and unloaded my bags to the room. After 8 hours of driving, all I could think about was how great a nice hot soak would be. Sadly, the hot tub was colder than the pool. Very very disappointed

The entrance is gorgeous as is the breakfast room. The pool is wondeful with new lounge chairs and cabanas. The rooms are remodeled, but sadly still old. My tub creaked every time I shifted my weight and the deadbolt didnt want to open. I nearly called the office to send someone to let me out of my own room. The roo.s were immaculate and furnished nicely. Ill stay again.

But really wish there was a smoking area, so you didn't have to go out the gate and stand in parking lot and smell sewer!

Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool was not available and had green water in it. The property has lots of lush greenery so there were lots of mosquitoes. There’s a cafeteria style room for happy hour. You can get a beverage and small snack - chips and nacho cheese. Only stayed one night and wanted a clean spacious room with nicer amenities. This hotel fit the bill and it was a well priced room.

La Fuente is a very welcoming hotel. It was convenient to dining and shopping choices. The complementary breakfast was basic, but offered a variety of options. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and felt like home. Carpeting created a musty smell if room closed up for any time. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit older than other hotels in the area but it is a great value for the money saved. The breakfast was excellent; loved the omelets! The courtyard area around the pool was quiet and inviting. The hotel is close to the interstate and surrounded by restaurants and stores, so it is a nice location.

We love staying at La Fuente -- a little more expensive now, but still an oasis with a pool and courtyard in the middle of a very busy area of town. The rooms are clean, a good size, and reasonably well maintained. However, this time, they tried to put us in a room without any view of the courtyard -- I was able to persuade them to move us to another suite with a view of the pool and courtyard, but would have been very unhappy where they tried to put us. Make sure you ask for a pool view when you book! Also, we had an extremely noisy bathroom fan -- sounded like a rough-running truck. Apart from that, this is our favorite place to stay in Yuma. The pool is well maintained and (especially attractive for families with kids), there are Weber grills provided for your own BBQ.

AC units loud, mosquitos in the room

This was a surprise in the best possible way. In my entire life La Fuente was my favorite place to stay. It was like being in my own, lush hacienda. The grounds were magnificent. Breakfast was great. The people who staffed La Fuente were exceptional. The pool look like it had been plopped down in a garden just inviting you in. So quiet and peaceful.

Our room was comfortable, air/heat was quiet, breakfast is always great here. We’ve stayed several times and don’t look elsewhere. Recommended.

My second stay confirmed El Fuente Inn has the most comfortable room, not too soft bed, and the pool area is so relaxing. I may have unnecessary dental work done in Algodones just to stay again soon!

Nice happy hour and wonderful pool area. This is the only hotel I stay at when I am in Yuma. I have been staying at this hotel exclusively for the past 17 years.

Was quiet the first night and a little louder the second but there was some army stuff going on in town. Overall very happy with everything. Staff was super nice and friendly, accommodating with the airport shuttle early in the morning. Location is perfect location, can pretty much walk anywhere you need. Breakfast was decent for hotel breakfast, the salsa is amazing! The pool was dirty but I’m not familiar with outdoor Arizona pools so that just might be normal. Will say we will be staying when we are in town again next time!

Great stay. Quiet and clean

From the moment I opened the door to the room I was choking from the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. It smelled like people had been chain smoking in there for days. The toilet seat had layers of film of what I can only imagine was human excrement. There were finger nails on the floor of the bathroom as well as hair in the sink. I could not even last in there more than the two minutes it took me to look around because the residual smoke was so heavy, I couldn’t breathe.

Was nice to receive complimentary Happy Hour tickets.

Once we were inside though things improved a lot, the inner courtyard is really nice and looks just like the posted photos. The pool is large and my kids had a lot of fun in it. There are bbq’s available, we didn’t use them but they looked nice. I would maybe dock some points as the pool area has some caution tape up in certain areas with no explanation as to why. The rooms were pretty average, but nice enough for the price. Our room was humid with two AC units running the entire time we were there as it was 110F while we were there. The included breakfast was hands down the best I have ever seen at a hotel. So much variety, fresh, with friendly staff and a large clean eating area. We felt bad as there was a lot of food prepared but my family was the only people there to enjoy it! Overall I would say that this is a decent property, and staying here was a good experience, but maybe not exceptional. It is a good value and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Water smelled like rotten eggs, told staff about it and they would not switch me rooms so i couldnt even shower or brush my teeth. The rooms are like apartments. Can hear every word in the room above me. Very noisey and out dated. Will be requesting a refund or i will charge back

The outside of the property, parking and surrounding areas trhew me off at first( not bad but ok i guess) but once inside the hotel it was nice good price too, it was a pleasant experience overall👍

There is even 2 coupons you get on checkin for their "happy hour" that provides for some drinks and/or light snack appetizer. Breakfast menu has a good variety with some nice omelets, cereals, waffle maker, toast, breakfast sausages, juices, fruit, coffee and a variety of teas.

This property was very nice. It was well kept and lots of greenery. The room was nice too. I had a King bed, Sofa bed with a coffee table, a desk, a mircowave and a frig. The AC was nice and cold too and included a ceiling fan. Everythimg about the room made me want to come back. In the morning, I had some breakfast, which was fresh and hot. They offered two kinds of egg omletes, sausages and potatoes. Also there was a waffle machine and a lot of other breakfast items, like bagels, toasts, cereal, and hard boiled eggs. After breakfast, I took a dip in the pool. It was great. Very clean and big. The pool was so big. I was shocked. They also had Cabanas available to sit in, out of the sun, at a table or lounge chair. The whole place was nice and I will definantly would go back there again. Lastly, the pricing was very reasonable. Enjoy!!

We stayed in a suite with a very comfortable king sized bed. Excellent shower, good Wi-Fi. We only had coffee, but the breakfast offering looked above average. Relatively quite AC was aided by ceiling fans in both rooms. Only negative was pre-check in app didn't transfer any information to front desk; I had to give the front desk clerk everything except my drivers license.

I took a chance booking a hotel where I've never stayed before, and I was pleasantly surprised. It offered a nice happy hour and breakfast, with decent options and good coffee. Coffee pot in the room did not work, but I've found this to be the case in many hotels where I've stayed recently. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay. We have only one suggestion for all hotels in the desert. You should put a canopy over the pool during the summer. The shade would make the pool usable even when hot, and the water would stay cooler.

I have been having dental work done in Los Algodones for almost 20 years. Often I have stayed overnight in Yuma as it's a 4.5 hour drive to get back home. How have I missed this gem of a hotel? Friendly staff, comfortable room and a fantastic courtyard area pool. Close to lots of food options, too. I can't wait to get more dental work done just to stay again!

Gorgeous setting like a resort. Great floor design like old Sothwest constructions with a pool and gardens in the center and all rooms surrounding them. Easy parking, safe enclosure for the rooms. Hands down the best hotel in Yuma, it doesn't matter the stars (stayed in 3 other big chain, 3-4 star hotels)
