I love this hotel, this was the first time I’ve had an issue. There was quite a bit blue painters tape on some molding and the tub leaked. They’re not major issues. I remove the tape so someone else wouldn’t have to. 😁 The breakfast staff was very kind to get me a bagel and some cream cheese when I was late. I misread the time. I really appreciated that. 💕

Ayers is our go to place when visiting the area. Clean rooms, breakfast is fairly good (pancakes are not that great), they need real decaf coffee and the staff are very nice. However, don’t leave anything behind because it’ll be lost forever.

It was very clean and easy to get to. There was a couple of fast food places close by, CVS, and supermarkets. The location was very convenient. I also drove to Disneyland and it took me 25 minutes.

Everything about our stay was great, except we didn't understand why the bar isn't open on Fridays & Saturdays, just open Monday thru Thursdays. With a vacant restaurant next door, the hotel should at least open the bar on the weekends. Makes no sense at all. We had to Uber to a bar to get some cocktails before heading to a wedding.

It is convenient to travel because of its location, just off the 91 freeway, near malls, up the street from Costco and there are many restaurants within a short distance. Highly recommend the Ayers Hotel,

Late check in at the end of a long day. The lone desk staff was struggling to check the couple ahead of us in. She couldn’t get the software to accept the couple’s payment info. Waited over 30 min to complete a transaction that should have taken 10 min. I can’t imagine my experience is typical, but it was frustrating. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations.

The bed was not soft enough, the tv offset, the hideabed was very uncomfortable to where the couch was more comfortable by itself, the chairs were not comfortable as they did not offer enough back nor arm support and we needed more towels washclothes,.pillows and larger trash cans. Noisy guests in hallways at all hours of the night. No quiet hours.

Lots of lighting and outlet options. Mini frig, microwave and coffee pot, plus iron and ironing board. Sink.and vanity separate from the bathroom with ample space. Clean floors throughout the building. Ice water are front desk. Luggage carts available from car to room and back. Pool was clean and deck furniture was clean and comfortable, plus towels were provided. Gym was very accommodating with hours 24/7. Ample and convenient parking. This is a great hotel, overall a safe, clean, relaxing place to stay. I'm disabled and the ADA rooms are very welcoming, the staff is really kind and helpful, the room is clean and doesn't give the ick in any way. The shower is a marvel, every assistance device and bar possible, I was pretty impressed.

Our whole experience from walking in the front door till we left was excellent. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Our only concern was the list of restaurants supplied by staff didn’t have address which made it a little more difficult to locate .

The only thing I did not like is my bathtub spout was dripping all night.the maintenance guy looked at it and just hand tightened it but he should have use tools or a wrench to figure it out. I been coming here every time very comfortable but rather see better breakfast they have the same thing every time. No bacon or waffle maker.

Technically walkable to many shops but you have to go through or under freeways! Otherwise plan to drive The AC in room is in the wall and not centralized, barely cooled the room but it worked Continental breakfast is very basic but it’s spacious seating, clean and friendly staff

Breakfast is exceptional with choices such as real bacon, real scrambled eggs , pancakes and fresh French toast doesn’t get any better than this if the rating is 5 stars I’d give it a 6. Bed is comfortable, air conditioning, bathroom water pressure is great, tv with lots of channels black out curtains great for that afternoon pm nap. All personnel are friendly engaging and seem to appreciate the business our favorite Ayres by far

Everything was great except that the first night I checked in my room had an overwhelming smell of deodorizer (assuming someone had smoked in the room). But it was 2:45 AM when I checked in and I was too exhausted to request a change. I hoped it would dissipate by morning but it did not, and it gave me a terrible headache. I requested a new room and staff immediately accommodated me and the new room was perfect. I interacted with 4 different staff members over my 3 day stay and each person was so friendly and nice. I would definitely return. It was just unfortunate about the room on my first night.

The parking was 'completely' full at 9pm, there was literally no place to park - had to park on the street. When I came in with a late dinner and went to my room, the key didn't work. The young woman at the counter was weird when I asked for my keys to be reset (I had my keys), she took a long time and then said she needed to check my reservation again. I had been there the night before, and my stuff was in the room. It felt weird, like I was suspicious. She could have handled it better.

This is our go to hotel to stay at when we go to Southern California. It’s clean, the breakfast is great and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Location is 25 mins from Disneyland and beach. You can’t beat it!

The staff was rude. Housekeeping banged on my door at 9am and wouldn’t stop until I answered the door. They woke me up. Check out is not till 12pm. They came back at 11am and again banged on my door until I answered. When I checked out I asked the lady at the front desk if this was customary and she replied yes. They start knocking on doors at 8am unless you put the no disturb sign on the door. I did not know that and I have stayed at other locations and this was not done there. I asked her if they have a digital system in place so that they don’t disturb checks that are still in there room. She replied that they do have a system but they don’t use it.

Aw our home away from home, we’ve been staying here for awhile when traveling and it’s always clean, safe and the rooms are nice and big we love the rooms and they also have good breakfast.

The only issue was the tub faucet had a leak and was pumping out a lot of water.

Our room was quiet, very clean, spacious, and had a VERY comfortable bed. The hot breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the fruit, cottage cheese, and yogurt options. The English muffins, bagels, and muffins added to a complete meal. We’ll stay here again!

This hotel is really superb for the price. We had to stay here for a month as our home was getting ready. At most definitely served our needs.

Breakfast is dished out. Canned fruit is used not fresh. Towels are scratchy. Beds are comfortable but linen needs to be under dated.

Breakfast definitely was a big hit. French toast and sausage the first morning and pancakes and bacon the second. Huge selection so you should be able to find something you like. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and perfect to help cool off during the little heat wave we were having. Only El Torito right next door and since no sidewalks, the walk to Wahoo's was a bit sketchy- - - luckily, it's not a busy street...but if you are with young kids, it wouldn't be a great walk, even though it's only about 10 min away.

Mostly in hotels at the same level there is always coffee or hot water during the day. However, coffee in that hotel was only during the breakfast time. There is no sidewalk where the hotel is located so you cannot walk around. Hotel in general was clean.

The property has stayed on top of room maintenance. Someone at the front desk all the time.

I called the property ahead of my reservation to ensure a late check out was available. I was told one addl complimentary hour can be given, subject to availability. As an alternative (so I was told) a 3pm checkout could be purchased for an additional fee. With that assurance I made the reservation. Once onsite I was told that no paid extension was available. Stephanie Rench the manager did not speak with me to address my concerns in spite of my repeated complaint to the desk staff. This was a classic "Bait and "Switch" in my view.

This is our 4th stay at Ayers and I'm sure not our last. We live out of state in Nevada and family is in Yorba Linda. This is a hotel that is always welcoming, clean, comfortable and accomodating. Also, the breakfast is fresh with a large variety of choices. Staff is professional and very friendly.

Excellent accommodation except for … noise. Loud talking in the hallways up till 12:30 and starting from 7 am. Felt like an airport hotel.

Wonderful place to stay. If you are not looking for any frills. Anything from here is driving distance except for supermarket. But we stayed here two weeks while shopping for a home. And it was very comfortable.

Nice suite type hotel, clean and looked recently updated. The building is alongside the 91 freeway and our room was on that side. It wasn't at all bothersome to me, my wife would have preferred a room on the north side of the building but again, it was very minor. The towels could use replacing, you could tell they were end of life. The pillows were all feather type and they were mush. I think they should provide an assortment of firmness as my neck needs a bit more support. Would still stay here again, nice place in a safe area.

The cable / tv set up I didn’t like. Too much trouble in finding what I wanted to watch

Also a couple bottles of water in the room would be nice. They supply a coffee maker, but no water. I would definitely return and i would recommend to others.

This was my second time staying at the property. I enjoyed my stay. The only thing that could improve is the large bath tub drain. Last time I had a hard time using it because I had difficulties closing it so that water would fill up, this time I was able to close it and water filled up the tub but I had a hard time opening it back up to release the water. Other than that, I was on the 2nd floor and around 11pm at night the guest above me was a bit noisy. Otherwise, the hotel itself is pretty quiet and rooms are excellent and spacious.

I go here every few months. Ayres is a favorite of ours. Some better than others. This one is good.

They have happy hour, but the day we wanted to go, the bartender did not show up, so the bar was closed. That was a big disappointment.

This is my third time staying here and I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I love how friendly the staff is. I also love how clean the hotel is. The breakfast was amazing. It is also very convenient to Disneyland as well as Knottsberry farm.

I only have 2 things to report: 1)!The air conditioner squeaked each time it shut off, and 2) Maybe it was just me, but the bedsheets seemed a little rough, almost like they were very new and had not been softened up yet. I am used to a softer sheet.

Clean, quiet, modern hotel but the bed was a little soft.

Our request for a quiet location on the top floor was granted and our 5 night stay allowed for restful sleep. Breakfast was served with a smile each morning and I felt well taken care of each morning. We stay at this particular hotel for all the reasons mentioned and much more. Keep up the good work Ayers Yorba Linda and thank you again!

This hotel offers great value. Rooms are spacious and I was surprised to find a large soaking tub in the bathroom. The only issue was I tried to use but could not figure out how to close the drain to fill it up with water. If I had more time I would have called the front desk but I was on a quick trip and I really did not have time to soak but wanted to try since the tub was nice.

Attended a retirement/70th birthday. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Price is affordable, location was perfect to our destination.

This is way more than a 3 star property. Room is huge. Very clean.

Gym is nice except only treadmill works. The other 2 are just there. They are non operational. Breakfast is not good. Canned fruit is not a thing these days.

Pretty good stay, but a/c had a bit of a weird smell, and also creaked loudly when it automatically turned off, sometimes in the middle of the night. Other than that, newer curtains and spacious tub, water pressure good in shower. Nice room.

I read recent favorable reviews but this hotel surpassed my expectations. Parking easy. Check in staff friendly. I asked for a room on the back side of hotel away from road which is so quiet. Great view of hillside and neighboring area. Costco, Sprouts, many restaurants nearby. Room is immaculate, comfortable, generously sized, and bathroom is well laid out with great water pressure in shower which is inside an oversized soaking tub. Everything is so clean. We’re only staying a night but this place has a mini fridge, a microwave, self laundry on the floor, nice pool area and we are glad breakfast is included. Wi-Fi works well, lots of premium tv channels. I would definitely stay here again.

Tv remote not working properly

Wonderful hotel but my room had no view. The window was covered by a wall. Other than that it was a great hotel. Avoid room 221

We had a nice stay. The beds were not really comfortable, and breakfast was the same stuff for our whole stay which got boring.

Helpful and professional

Breakfast is horrible. Powdered eggs and same potatoes every single day. But the worst is canned fruit and only on weekends there is fresh fruit salad. Vanilla yoghurt and cottage cheese is unidentifiable, and coffee is industrial strength. I would have liked individual packages of yoghurt or cottage cheese. Plain would be nice. Fresh fruit would be great, since I have food allergies and I don't know what is in all this food.
