I didn’t like that the “private bathroom” is a built in bathroom that had a leak and also had no sink which kind of defeats the purpose

Great location, will be perfect once the gate to kraton area is open again.

I LOVED this place! Super cosy and homely and Irene is such a kind and friendly host. It is a nice sized hostel where it's easy to meet everyone and plan adventures throughout the day. The location is fantastic. Hidden away in a local alley with really friendly and smiley neighbours. There are plenty of spectacular food options within walking distance and it's very easy to get to the centre by Grab or hired scooters. I only wish I could have stayed longer because it really felt like home for a few days!

I had a wonderful stay at Wood Stone. The staff and guests were all lovely, and the facilities are comfortable and met all my needs. I would definitely stay here again!

The room had good decor and was clean, and the place was very quiet. They let me hang around the common area after my check out until late in the evening. The bathroom and kitchen weren’t as clean as expected the corners were quite dirty, it could be maintained better. There were people smoking in the dining area at the entrance which can be quite uncomfortable. Its common for people to smoke all over Indonesia, but when they host people from different countries it would make sense to have a separate smoking zone and atleast leave out the kitchen and dining.
