Maybe the toilet and shower

The facilities are more than enough. There are gas stove, water, tea, refrigerator, etc for free. Great. The locker security still needs to be improved.

This was the second time I stayed at this property in just one week. This time, I upgraded to a private room and was very happy with the clean, simple spacious room. I stand by my opinion that this hostel has thought of absolutely everything. They even have Hanging scale to weigh your backpack before you go to the airport. I 100% recommend and will be back myself again soon!

I don’t usually give all 10, but I feel like this place thought of everything! There are cool and comfortable community spaces, super comfortable beds and linens, hooks where you need them to be, outlets where you need them to be, a place to dry your clothes, hot and cold water options, clean bathrooms, good WiFi, and everything is well labeled. Check in and check out was easy, the staff are friendly and it’s quiet at night. I will be back very soon! As other people have suggested, it would be nice to have curtains to give more privacy in the dorms. Otherwise, I found everything to be just right!

The location, cleanliness, price. They always give me lower bunkbed as I requested. Its ? Since I knew Sante Commune long before pandemi, everytime I went to Yogya, I stay there. Almost nothing. Maybe just little suggestion, a curtain in bed? Because sometimes I felt uncomfortable if my bed lamp still on in the night, meanwhile person cross the bed want to sleep in the dark.

Nothing I could not check in this hostel because they require you to send your passport data to the group chat on Whatsapp to check you in, which I didn't want ofc. Why would I share my personal data on WhatsApp in a group of 6 strange people? Very risky way of sharing personal data. What if anyone's phone is compromised? When I asked them I would like to give my passport in person they even replied no matter how I give my passport to them they would share it on a WhatsApp group anyway. Very unsecure and I believe even against the rules of sharing personal data in booking.com!

Practically nothing.

The common areas upstairs and downstairs are cozy. The bathrooms are awful. The toilets and showers are in the same room, which is common in SEA, but the hostel has some non-slip mats on the floor which end up having hair stuck on them. I was hoping that the mats would be moved when cleaning, but even after the bathrooms were cleaned there were lots of long hair stuck on the mats. It was very gross. The toilets are also not great. Hard to say if the liquids on the toilet seat and on the floor were water or pee. I ended up checking out a day early because of that. The location is not great. There are no restaurants or cafes around, so you always need a grab to go somewhere.

Everything! It is a great hostel for take a rest, very clean and the atmosphere there is so quiet. I highly recommend.

Location was great, the bed was very clean and comfy. It’s not a social hostel but if you are in for a calm stay, it’s perfect The bathroom area is very old and gives a dirty vibe, could use a small renovation, remove dirty shower curtains etc
