Wonderloft Hostel Jogja

Unfortunately my bed had bed bugs:( I told the staff and they offered me a private room for no other cost, but they didn’t seem too surprised about the bed bugs unfortunately — and after speaking with them I learned this was not the first time there was an issue in the hostel, and it seemed like not much action was happening about the issue. If this wasn’t an issue then the hostel would have been great, but due to this I left before spending a night there.

Quite small, and not spot clean

The curtain should cover more part of the cabin for more privacy, some pods are needing to maintain, the door also needs to maintain.

Really helpful and nice staff The jacuzzi and outside area is very nice, also the small rooftop Bathrooms were decent, but quite old The dorm was very small, lockers are in front of the room in the hallway The kitchen was not very clean, towel was so smelly and a lot of rotten food in the fridge

BED BUGS!!! Chaos in the hostel. They let us, unwilling and knowingly, stay an extra night after bed bugs were confirmed in the hostel. They didn’t inform people we found out through others. There was also a sanitary towel on the wall of the shower for over 24 hours. There is not enough space for someone to even open the door fully never mind have your bag in your room at night. Yet there aren’t even anywhere near enough lockers per a bed. Curtain also didn’t even cover the bed so there was no privacy. Madness. Would not recommend.

staff is friendly, helped in renting a bike who gave me the best bike and helped me in buying tickets to the temple. the room was very difficult to lock and open so cause nusense whenever someone enters at night. the overall area seems old and need some remodelling. hot water is not there in all showers.

Loved everything about it. Great staff, wonderful location and very clean The communal fridge doesn’t close well other then that all is well

I intended to stay only for one night and extended for 2 days later… meet a lot of people, it’s fun! everything was nice, bathroom and toilets are all clean, lots of lockers (need to pay 10k for the lock). Free water (bring my own tumblr). All good! would be better if: -more chairs so we can sit together with a lot of people -more clothes line so we may dry our towel/clothes

cool, all great, staffs are nice -If we move when sleeping/climbing the bed, the wood will all move and making sounds. If you’re a light sleeper, you might try the smaller room (for 6). -Will be better if there’s any catalog to tell us what’s the next destination (probably Karimunjawa/Malang/Banyuwangi/Bali) or maybe the destination in Jogja itself, tons of them?

Please Europeans stop turning off the AC, this is a shared room.

Everything was great - The Hostel is very nice with beautiful design clean and quiet, staff " Ivan - Abdul - Ana and other guys are very cool and amazing people, always smiling, will helping you at any time you need them, i requested check in at 06:00 am because my train was at night , and they provide a a private check in for me , it was very simple and easy to do it by myself, Also, whenever I need something, they are always at my service with great passion, it's one of my favorite hostel in Java , i will come back again Thank you so much for everything ❤️ Everything was perfect ❤️?

clean, comfortable bed, no mosquitoes in-room many restaurants/ bars nearby a bit far from the town centre but a grabbike will make it pillow was a bit stinky. had to cover it with towel

Wonderloft hostel is incredible!!! I really had an unforgettable stay, the vibe and staff are amazing! This is the kind of place you want to be when you travel. Beds and dorms are confortable and the hostel and bathrooms are clean. Also you have Air con at the bedrooms. All the staff is ready and happy to help you and they are always there for you ❤️ I felt like home and I regret not staying more time. For sure, next time in yogyakarta I will be at Wonderloft Hostel

- nice common rooms (you can either hang out at the jacuzzi or on the roof top) - clean bathrooms - nice rooms - big lockers - amazing location (quite enough were you can walk places but busy enough that there are many delicious restaurants around) - not all rooms have windows (what you know in advance when you’ll book) however due to the lack of air circulation, the rooms can have unpleasant smells
