The staff is friendly and tries hard with what they have to help the customers. The buffet is solid with some vegan options. This is an old hotel that needs some kind of major refreshing. The gym is quite small. The noise issue is not good- one side is near the train station and the other side is next to a mosque with 4:30am calls to prayer.

It's a 4-star hotel but not always top notch - it's generally clean but certain things look a bit.like falling apart. However, the staff was super nice, the food was super tasty and plentiful. It's quite a noisy neighborhood and the windows don't really keep the noice out, so make sure to take earplugs for a good night sleep (the nearby train station has a really loud street crossings that will sure wake you up at night, as well as the callings from the mosque before dawn).

It’s a short walk from the station so a good base for sightseeing down the Main Street to the museums and palaces, and easy to get out by vehicle to the historic temples in the surrounding countryside. Food was excellent. It was a little quiet when I was there - off season - so I don’t think many rooms were open on the higher floors. I was at the 2nd floor to the back. I did not mind the slight noise from the station but if you are noise sensitive, then ask for a room at the front.

Good location for train station access. Nice room and furnisings. Friendly staff. The breakfast offerings might have been heaven's delight for local tastes but it offered very little for Western breakfast preferenances (no eggs, potatoes, meats, cheese, yougart, bagels, muffins, etc.). Most of it was what one would consider "lunch" (rice or noodles with various toppings).

Was truly delightful experience thanks to the exceptional staff. I must commend the team for their excellent hospitality, which was truly the best part of my stay. The staff members were incredibly accommodating, warm, and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit. Unfortunately, I noticed that the room cleanliness fell short of expectations during my stay. Additionally, the housekeeping staff often forgot to set up the bathmat and provide adequate guest amenities. The bathmat provided was more akin to a hand towel due to its thin and unsatisfactory quality.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riss Hotel. The rooms are lovely and big with everything you need. Staff are very sweet but not a lot of English is spoken. There is a huge variety of food for breakfast. It's within easy walking distance of the Tugu Train station. The pool is used for swimming lessons on a Sunday morning making it quite noisy. Could hear the train.
