The hotel is very beautiful, clean, and organized. It is located right in the city center, very close to several shops, restaurants, and convenience stores. The hotel was a little more expensive than the others. The Wi-Fi didn't work very well.

Excellent location, many souvenir shops & eating stalls nearby. There is an very authentic reflexology shop within walking distance of like 2~3 minutes. Excellent value for money. The shower area needs a shower screen, else the whole toilet floor is wet once finished shower. The room at the inner side is quiet, free from street noises, but the doors are not so good in soundproofing. We can hear guests talking outside of our door, very clear. The room needs larger space for luggage, especially twin room as it can't be only 1 luggage for 2 guests needing twin room. The space provided also not big enough to open the luggage properly. The towels are greyish despite it's original white design, moreover with black spots. But since it smells good, we just assume it is clean as we didn't bring our own towel anyhow.

Bad smell in the bathroom

The room was large and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed. The location is not far from the center, but also not in it. Still, it’s on a major street and the traffic out the door is chaos. However, they have a staff member dedicated to helping guests cross the street. Believe me, you’ll need it. Breakfast was not typical for westerners. I have nothing against Indonesian food, but these felt more like lunch or dinner items which I found hard to eat for breakfast. However, they did have toast.

The location is good for reaching all the interesting places, like Malioboro street. The hotel looks modern and is good value for money, but don’t get too high expectations. The breakfast is ok and has some variation in food choices. The room service food is good. The shower was old and broken. The sink sometimes cannot handle the water.

Perfect location, not too crowded, even though located in the main street. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast, Omelet / Fried egg only available during the weekend.

Breakfast was very good - wide selection Paid for a room with a view; didn’t get one because they ran out. Wasn’t a big deal; it didn’t ruin what was overall a fantastic stay.

Price Cleanliness and staff at front desk

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I also like that they prepare breakfast for you to go if needed (provided you got breakfast included with your room). The overall hotel vibes look quite nice as well. I think they are more on the eco friendly side - so didn't have disposable toothbrushes and they only provide the bath towels.

It was clean and the foods were great.

The location is near all the in city attaction of Yogyakarta. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing.

The hotel was a 20 min walk from Malioboro markets, which is the main tourist area in Yogyakarta. The staff were friendly and spoke English which made the check in process much easier. The room was clean and the overhead shower was very nice. The food was pretty salty and ordering room service was difficult. We called the extension number 2 times and no one picked up. Considering we called around dinner and no one picked up? I was just confused so I had to get my sister to order from the restaurant

Amazing service!! After staying in many of boutiques hotels in Indonesia this is easily the best place my parents have stayed. The service is truly world class and the all staff go above and beyond. We could write numerous stories of how they went above and beyond but your really need to experience for yourself. I booked for my parents who come to Jogja to celebrate his 70th birthday and he was surprised by the real hospitality from all the team who turned up to congratulate him in the most genuine way. Special thank you to Pak Beka and the entire team of Hotel Ayaarta for making my father’s birthday and stay even more special. He already planned to return soon :) Amazing value.

but overall all staff friendly, parking lot just ok,, location is super nice.. breakfast just ok, well,, we travel for 2 adults and 1 kids 8yo, we require 3 towel and 1 additional pillow, but it turns out charged for around 3dollars for the pillow and 2dollars for the towel. if the towel is good we dont mind for it but actually the towel was also torn and lousy one.. so i decide it thanks but no thanks.. we can survive with those.. hahahaa.. perhaps if the front desk telling in sweet way for instance,, "due to we support the climate and water suistanability bla bla bla,, therefor we are sorry to charge this bla bla bla... then the customer can re re re reconsider.. to take it even it was charged.. but they just oh,, add some,, then you need to pay for ... " (this is the first time for me for being charged anyway,, #Shocked) bottom of bedroom was not clean up, so many dust.. i stay there for 4 days... come on.. and there are no welcome drink or else.. poor support when we would rather have not twin bed,, because the bed cannot be put together.. #classic but we need it though..
