The beds were super comfortable and a decent sized room. The floor was sticky and there were various stains on the floor. The bucket for the ice didnt have a bag. The screen door was broken, couldn't get it to close all the way and the lock on the door to the patio was broken.

Toilet was clogged, running very slowly, when we arrived. We had to go to the front desk and get a plunger at 2 o’clock in the morning. No offer to help, no later acknowledgement of our effort to help ourselves. That was disappointing.

Absolutely disgusting rooms. Do not stay there unless you wanna get sick. I had to go and pay $300 at 1:30 in the morning so I can actually get a couple hours of sleep before I had to leave.

The hotel staff is first rate right thru the cleaning staff - All so very friendly and courteous.

The beds were comfortable,. The rooms were clean. The view was beautiful. The restaurant/ bar was nice. We sat outside and enjoyed a complimentary drink. The free soup and warm roll hit the spot. The staff was great.

Upon entering the Oxford Suites I was greeted by two of the friendliest and welcoming front desk clerks. They were funny and kind, helpful and informative. I complimented them on their professionalism. Too many times the front desk staff are just doing the bare minimum. These guys made me feel happy about choosing this hotel.

it had a indoor pool, the deepest end was only 4 feet, but it felt nice. It had a hot tub. It had vouchers for buffet breakfast for each guest. We werent there for the free happy hour and appitizer, it was closed on only the days we were there. which sucked. but thats okay. its a really nice hotel actually. i like the little kettle things to warm up water in the rooms. the river view with balconys are awesome. and that trail is pretty cool. It was a very nice hotel. and i would definately stay again. for sure

Enjoyed a quiet, relaxing overnight stay. The room was tidy, the bed was cozy, and the atmosphere was peaceful.

2 complimentry drinks each, per night and breakfast each morning included add value. My only corrections would be the breakfast and they did not service our room. They did not make up the bed and bring fresh towls. (Towels were provided when we asked) They are they stopped preparing food well ahead of the ten o'clock hour and would not replentish fruit, oatmeal items and ut was only 9:20 a.m. Bar staff, cleaning staff, front desk staff very welcoming and helpful upon request.

I like the breakfast and wine and munchies at 5pm.

We travel to Yakima three or four times a year and always stay here. It's location is easy to get to and we've always felt safe here. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean and spacious, and they have a nice view of the Yakima River. The beds and pillows are excellent so we always get a good nights sleep here! The free breakfast is very good, with good coffee and hot food. They have a nice selection of breads for toast, cereals, waffle-maker, etc. You can walk from the hotel quite a distance along the river on the paved pathway. I can't speak about the pool, as we have never used it.

Great location and reasonably priced, Oxford Suites is always a sure bet. The shower was 10 out of 10, water pressure excellent and water temperature steady. The included breakfast had the expected items and served our needs. We did use our evening social hour coupons which I love this amenity and so does everyone else because it was busy with activity. My only complaint is that there are not more Oxford Suites throughout the places I travel!

Great breakfast! Great walking/bike trail right behind the hotel with the river right behind that. Most of the rooms faced the river, away from the car traffic, which was nice. Very close to the freeway, making it very convenient. Bathroom fan ran 24/7 with no way to turn it off.

The view of the river was relaxing The room was gross and dirty. The water never got hot. Everything was outdated. For what we got, $300 foot one night is crazy. Breakfast was not great either.

Bathtub drain was clogged and every time we took a shower it will fill up with water. My son got a rash from being in their pool.

This is what happens when socialism takes over. They don't provide enough pillows, so you need to go check them out front from the front desk. There isn't daily service to your room. The pool and hot tub were constantly shallow, the included breakfast is the same food every time. I hope this place is better in the summer, but I doubt it honestly.

Front desk friendly, online check in easy, lovely room with view of the river. Complimentary beer and wine went great with our pizza and quesadilla in the bar (personal pizza could have been split between two). Excellent breakfast buffet. Loved the free parking, too.

This was a great property and great value. The check in process was quick and easy. Coffee selection in the lobby and nice lobby with area to sit. In the evening there is a small bar with snacks. Great breakfast in the morning. Clean hotel and comfortable clean rooms. Appreciates the night light by the door so we didn’t have to keep the bathroom light on. The fan/heat was also not too noisy and had a fan always on option which was nice. Overall a great place to stay. It will be my new place to book when coming to visit family. The pool was nice and warm for the kids and hot tub was great too.

Front desk staff is excellent. Rooms look out over the Yakima River. Wonderful footpath along River with benches, making it ideal for walking or running. Rooms are clean and quiet. This is our go to place when visiting Yakima.

My small suite was quiet, and the balcony overlooking the river was a nice place to sit. The complimentary drinks and breakfast buffet were a lovely and unexpected bonus. l've stayed in a number of hotels in Yakima and this was the best l've experienced. 10/10 would stay here again.

A few choices for the breakfast.

Lovely location by the Yakima River (the tribe says Yakama), with Walmart nearby and minimal dining in the neighborhood. Their tv service allowed me to find available sports fairly easily, certainly more easily than most hotels. Breakfast was typical.

The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. My room was super comfortable and I enjoyed the river view. My only complaint is I couldn't stay an additional night. It was a relaxing place to call home while in town on business.

Not a lot of healthy choices and no decaf coffee or tea. Free drink and soup at night but they limit your choice of liquor. Not bad for a 1 night stay. Our air conditioner didn't work properly. Not bad for 1 night.

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay at this property. I made a slight error with my reservation dates and arrived on a day when there was no availability. I understand this was partially my mistake, but I was hoping for some flexibility or assistance on a reservation that was made. I contacted Expedia, who helped connect me with the property manager, but unfortunately, I was denied any refund or alternative solution. I would have been open to rebooking or using the amount as credit toward a future stay, but no options were provided. I was genuinely looking forward to staying here however, due to the lack of understanding from the property manager and customer support I received, I will not be staying at this property in the future

Liked the way the hotel positioned all the room away from the elevator , liked the idea that breakfast had servers , serving the eggs , sausage etc rather then letting guest have their way with serving themselves it is food safety. Cause no one can mess with the food.

No soap in our room and it felt like we were going to fall through the shower. Squeaky and uneven surface in it. The hotel staff was friendly and fairly clean. Bed was comfortable.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and we were very happy with this Oxford hotel. The amenities cannot be beat, the bed was wonderful. The room was clean and quiet with the Riverview outside the room. So nice to take a quiet walk, It was just such a great surprise, what they call the “snack” in the evening is actually more like a light meal/dinner that is complementary, a free cocktail in the evening, the complementary breakfast, coffee in the lobby, water in your room, make up towel, new sets of earplugs, really really nice staff everyone was wonderful, especially Shane!!

Comfy bed, breakfast ok, clean, friendly staff. The only downside was the homeless couple on the trail behind the hotel that were screaming at each other. They were there for about 5 minutes then moved on.

Our biggest grip is the inadequate number of disabled parking spots. There are only two spots, and one is a bit of a walk from the main entrance.

Nice but older hotel. Provided the low ratings as I didn’t receive the type of room I reserved due to the number of guests in my party. Due to the insufficient space we ended up renting an additional room for the night. The night manager denied that they had double queen rooms with sofas, which I learned the next day was untrue. Additionally they would not refund me for at 4th adult. I have generally preferred the Oxford hotels, and have frequently stayed in them in other places, but this event has soured me.

Location is good. Room is nice and clean. We were given a room cross from the elevator. So it was less than desirable. People next door smoked weed on the balcony, we couldn’t enjoy our balcony. Breakfast was ok. Don’t know why we didn’t get daily house keeping services.

We had a nice stay. Room was okay. Clean but dated. We did have a nice balcony overlooking the river and we used it. Nice walk path for morning stroll. Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Don’t highly recommend the restaurant, but it’s close. Walmart directly across street. It was safe, clean, had walkable area. You will need to drive to historic downtown area. It’s walkable but I don’t suggest it. We were told to avoid certain areas of downtown. We walked all over and did not find it dangerous or scary as people made it sound. However, we grew up in huge metropolitan cities, so this was small and safe to walk in our opinion. Some homeless as most towns, but nothing threatening or too sketchy by this hotel or its surrounding area. It appeared Family friendly with lots of out of town baseball leagues and families staying there.

Love that the rooms have balconies that look out on the river. We have stayed here numerous times over the years. The evening reception is nice, the breakfast is good. However the rooms are tired and could use a deep cleaning—especially the carpet and areas near the pull out couch. The mattress was extremely soft and needs to be replaced. I did give this feedback to the staff upon checkout but they did not seem to be interested.

It was a nicer hotel but the elevator was pretty sketchy and the 2nd floor smelled like marijuana which was unpleasant. Besides that it was a good hotel and was a good room with a good view. Also the dining room was amazing.

If you are driving through Yakima this is a very easy place to stay at. It is one of several places to stay nearby, though. We only stayed one night. The breakfast was good, room clean and staff friendly.

Terrible stay in a “river view” room with no river view, instead we got a tree and some bushes in our face. The beds were insanely uncomfortable with some kind of mattress topper that made us all over heat. We lost a nights sleep and paid a premium for it!

Everything was great especially being so close to the river... however, a couple times we came back in the side door on the 1st floor is smelled like smoke

Felt like in China. Interrogation at check in. Breakfast with tickets ( like thief’s) and portion served in certain amount. Very insulting , not to mention the food- low quality. The comparison is not with a luxurious hotel but with what we’ve seen at our friends hotel Best Western. We needed one more night but we are getting another hotel. Also, elevator, ice mashine, treadmill, broken. Will not come back !

Good location comparing to other options. Love the patio and it was quite clean. Elevator on our side was under repair so we used the stairs instead. We felt safe inside and outside of the hotel. We updated to the top floor and it was pretty quiet. Not a fancy hotel but it everything was in good condition. Wish there was more fresh fruits available for breakfast though. We got canned peaches and a little bit of frozen blueberries.

They had open seating outside for breakfast but the doors were locked. THe area for breakfast was really hot with the food and people so sitting outside would have been nice.

Checked in late at 3:30 am, took a long time bc rez was deleted but we called twice saying it would be very, very late. The room card was keyed to wrong room #. It was very frustrating and we were already tired

The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, had to ask for room service, was good. water pressure was great. The hotel needs updating. The furniture was not the best. The bed was to firm for me, woke up with shoulder pain. The caulking on the tub/floor kids could have done a better job. The coffee pot was dirty inside it and the outside doors (east side) had leaves and dirt at the entrance that got tracked indoors. Carpet was dirty. I booked this hotel because it had a 9.2 rating. not so. I'll stay at a different hotel next trip.
