Reasonable priced rooms. Hotel has relatively easy access to the highway. Location is a 2.5 out of 5. Overall experience was a 2.7 out of 5 stars.

I always stay in this place because it's convenient. There are stores near by, restaurants and it's quiet. The last time I stayed in here, there were pee stains under the toilet sit. They moved me to a different room, but I can't believe that they were lacking on their cleaning.

Or room was clean ! We have our tub not drain properly the first morning when showering but we told them and then came and fix it right away!! We had a great stay. Loved the full-size fridge and the little cook top!

The bed was very comfortable. This hotel has no car available to transport luggage, bags etc. I had to make multiple trips up and down from the car to the room to get evetything to and from the car, that was very inconvenient.

My Place is a great place to stay. Nice and friendly staff. Pet friendly as well.

They do have laundry services which is a plus. They have a dog park which is really cool. My suggestion would be cleaning up the garbage outside. When we arrived, the garbage right by the front door, was overflowing to the point where it was flying around the whole parking lot. Also, get rid of the people sleeping in the parking lot at night and a lot of them hang around the building during the day too. It makes it a little uncomfortable going outside by myself to grab anything... The workers were all very kind and friendly. I have no complaints about the staff. Also the room was pretty nice. It was spacious. I had a wheel chair accessible room, just for the extra space for my mom my toddler son, myself and 2 dogs. It was good size. I wish there was a pool. That would make the rating go WAY up.

No dishes, utensils, pots or pans in the kitchen area.

The building was older but nice, loved the room, super comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

This hotel was amazing! It was clean, quiet, inexpensive, large room with full size fridge , microwave & had a wonderful staff! And free 24/7 coffee bar! And it is easy on and off the highway. We will definitely stay there again.

You advertise a full kitchen but don’t provide anything for it. No glassware, plates, utensils, bowls or pans. I travel extensively and rely on Marriott or Hilton properties that supply those items at their hotels that offer kitchen or kitchenette amenities. I won’t be staying at My Place properties in the future

Overall this is a great place to stay. This is a newer hotel but has not been maintained to a high standard. Not horrible but visible stains on the carpets in the general areas. Room was nice and clean.

The size of the Room Nothing

Clean, comfortable, affordable rooms. There were some homeless people in the parking lot, smoking, right by my car…? You need better security!

Shower drain is always locked you have to manually pull it down so the water can be drain. Bed sheets were a little dirty from the sides. And there is no toothpaste or hand wash in room you have to buy your own

I liked having a kitchenette with full size frig. Large recliner very comfy! Small kitchen table w/ 2 chairs just enough! I was surprised there were no dishes or utensils since it had a kitchenette! We were unprepared! Luckily we had most of what we needed except forks and spoons but the front desk had plastic utensils they gave us!

Clean, comfortable and a good value. Loved the full size fridge/freezer as I needed to keep some things with me frozen while traveling. Walls were a bit thin, so I heard lots of things from the room next door.

This is a solid well priced hotel to stay at. It’s clean, reasonably priced would recommend considering it.

Things were good

To make matters worse, before I even discovered that, I had already asked the front desk where to get ice and was told the ice maker in my room did not work. I was instructed to bring the tray down and they would fill it for me. Not a major issue on its own, but just one more sign that the room was not properly maintained. The most unbelievable part was the manager’s reaction the next day. She acted as though this was a minor inconvenience instead of a serious sanitation failure. She simply said she would not charge me, with very little urgency, concern, or real apology. The whole response was bizarre and far too casual for something this unacceptable. Dirty, unchanged sheets are not a small mistake. They are basic housekeeping. The condition of the room was bad enough, but the indifferent response from management made it even worse. The hotel was ok. I think the last people that stayed in the room stole everything. The batteries in the remote were gone, all the soap, shampoo, and conditioner were empty. There was a press on finger nail behind the bathroom door.

The hotel was fairly new, front counter staff nice. However it appears to possibly be a hotel that is used for low income housing or homeless, garbage everywhere outside, a homeless camp nearby, lots of sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot after dark.

Great fully equipped kitchen, attractive rooms, friendly front desk staff. Convenient location. No views or anything, but so much more than we expected for the price. We would absolutely stay there again.

Pleasantly surprised. The rooms seemed to have been designed by someone who'd spent a lot of time in hotel rooms. Things that you might need were just plain there already.

It was good. We enjoyed our stay. We just had a few, little issues along the way. We had a smoke detector that kept chirping/beeping due to the battery dying, the air conditioner smelt a little funny when we turned it on but the smell eventually went away. I was excited about the ice maker in our freezer, but after drinking my drink with the ice in it, it tasted horrible. So I never used the ice after that.

Kitchen was nice but unusable unless you provided your own dishes and flatware.

The room had some garbage like 2 empty beer cans under the sink 2 bottles under neath the bed dirty walls in shower but it was still better than most places here in Yakima

The beds were one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever stayed in! So so comfy!!!

Checking in was easy and the room was very nice. They were kind enough to tell me to turn on the ice maker in the refrigerator in my room if I needed ice. I will stay here again.

Enjoyed chatting with Seth at the front desk. Enjoyed the room. Nice size, comfortable. Only negative is that all outlets are electrical. Thankfully we had our plug ins with us, or else we wouldn’t have been able to charge our phones. We would stay here again in Yakima without hesitation. Positive stay. Breakfast provided would have been a plus. Only coffee was available. Everything else had to be purchased. Full size fridge, 2 burners, no pots, dishes or silverware though. Large microwave. Close to Walmart and the freeway.

Safety was a concern. Smelly, dirty, noisy

The beds were very low! Like the box springs were missing. The bedding was nice. We enjoyed having the refrigerator for medical needs and ice. Also used the coffee maker and microwave. Felt the drapes, bathroom walls and floor could use a good scrub.

Spacious, clean room. Very quiet at night. Fenced in large grassy area behind building where you can take your pet. Friendly, welcoming staff. Kitchenette does not have utensils, but those may be available upon request.

No dishes to use for the kitchenette, smoke alarm didn't have a battery in it. Dirty container from previous customers left in cabinet. Dried food in refrigerator on racks, they charge for a frozen food breakfast. BBQ grill was not for customer use to do propane tank being stolen!! Had to buy pans and dishes in order to use the kitchenette

Clean and felt safe, was kind of loud but as soon as I was asleep it was good.

No grab handles in or around the shower tub. VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE ELDERLY AND PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES. Other than that its a real nice place.

We got there late after a long day of hiking. Hotel is older, rooms are dated but ok. Our tub wouldn't drain, so they moved us to another room. But only after they made me show them a picture of the tub full of water. Second room smelled like a combination of cigarettes and barbecue sauce. The shower was terrible, I could barely rinse my hair clean. Would not stay there again. Between the inconvenience of moving to another room after settling in and the nauseating odor very unpleasant.

It’s a beautiful place but nowhere did they ask me if I was allergic or anything cause it’s a pet friendly place so I think they gave us a room that used to have pets in there so that was so stuffed up

Quiet and the bed is comfortable. Not the cleanest place. Crumbs on the bed, vents around the room and on the heating unit needed a cleaning, shampoo/conditioner was out, footprints and stains on the extra chair. Front desk staff was very nice and check in was easy. Homeless wandering the area and a few were hanging in the parking lot but they didn’t bother anyone.

The only issue i had is it felt like the walls were a bit thin. I could hear the peo0le n3xt door at night.

I have stayed here multiple times, and every time I stay here, I always have a pleasant stay. However, in my last stay, they informed me that any first time stays need to do a 200 dollar deposit. It is unfortunate that due to other people's awful actions, we all have to pay. The deposit can be done by card or cash. After the first time staying here, then you won't have to do it again.

Overall, the property was quite dirty with drips on the cabinet doors, greasy finger marks. The window was beyond dirty also. The bed appeared clean as did the bathroom. On the positive side, the coffee this morning was quite good and freshly brewed.

Great value for the cost. Will be my first choice when in yakima again.

Nice walking trail

Pros- -the employees. Front desk workers were friendly, helpful and just great people. -the cleaning staff. These ladies were so sweet and hardworking. And they definitely had their work cut out for them in some of the rooms. -each room has. Fridge, small cooktop and sink/cupboard area. Cons- -They provide government subsidized housing to the unhoused. Some of the people in the hotel and parking lot area were questionable at best. This prompted concern about the safety of our teens and vehicle. -the people staying in some of the rooms live there for weeks and leave behind absolute filth, garbage and smells. We happened to catch a glance of our room while we were waiting to check in. It was disgusting. The poor girl cleaning was hauling out bags and bags of garbage. The floor, counters and beds were littered in food and waste. And the room smelled like vomit. She did an amazing job but we had to air out the room quite a bit and it was hard to feel like it was truly clean. -there are no plates, silverware, pots n pans, etc. For the price of $225/night, I had higher expectations. The two hotels down the street we had friends staying in were much nicer and they paid less than we did. Will not stay again.

The walls are very thin and the first floor was really loud, people hanging out in the stair well at night. Walking back and forth at night from the homeless camp at the river behind the hotel.

Area is nice with Greenway and walking distance to restaurants and WalMart. The room had no towels or toilet paper when I arrived, the sheets have stains and ran out of conditioner when I took a shower. I can hear the sound from next room, so I did not have a restful night the entire stay. I will not stay at another MyPlace if I can help it.

My husband and I stayed a night while seeing family. We got in late and the hall floors by the far exit were pretty dirty, we ended up switching out the duvet cover which was a little dirty as well (they gave us a clean one), and there was a little dirt on the shower, but otherwise room was spotless, front desk accommodating and friendly. No free breakfast, pool or gym, but in room kitchenette and recliner. Very comfortable for the value

The staff were very kind. Incredibly helpful, the little shop they had was so cute, super stocked with so many different sodas and medicine, just awesome. The room didn't have bugs, was fun, loved that it was pretty much a studio with a bathroom. The utilities were perfect, the fridge was clean and so was the microwave. So wonderful. I hope the staff gets to see this review. Oh!!!! I forgot the safety!! They lock the second door at night and that's so awesome. You need your card. The neighborhood can be a little spooky, but so safe compared to all the other places I stayed on first Street (don't do those hotels. Red apple felt safer than the "red lion" that wasn't a real red lion, very danoand gross.) man...I could continue on and on about how wonderful your hotel is. But no more space. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable room We didn't expect the room to have so many amenities. It had a full size refrigerator, and even a cook top. Staff was very nice.

We love My Place hotels, but this one needed some maintenance. They don’t have ice machines because the rooms have kitchenettes with full size fridges equiped with ice makers, however our ice maker didn’t work. When flushed the toilet made a loud clunking sound causing us to wonder if it was really going to flush. I don’t like to ne bothered with maintenance people when I’m staying so I didn’t report the problems until we were checking out.
