Misleading I want my refund

Air conditioning was terrible. Couldn’t sleep all night because it was too hot and staff did not help when I called.

The staff were super nice and accommodating. The room we stayed in was an upgraded room as they are upgrading the motel. Good cheap prices as well. Would stay again!

The parking was great and sucre. Room was clean 👌 except for the door needs to be more sucre with a chain. Staff was friendly. Ac kept the room cold we loved the room hopefully we can get it again.

Don’t waste your time here, especially if you have kids. The first room we had was clearly recently smoked in. We told the front desk and they gave us another room that also smelled like smoke and had mold. The person at the front desk told us the only other option was a bed that would not accommodate our family. We were not refunded, and we had to drive down the road and pay for a different hotel.

The shower was not clean, the toilet had crystallized urine on it the lid of the toilet was unclean, there was mold in various places in the ceiling of the bathroom. I have photos. I woke up to finding a adult size roach crawling on my nightstand, the entire flooring was dirty. I purchased cleaning products to clean and disinfect the room. I informed the male front desk clerk and he had no response at all and offered no resolutions.

This has got to be the nastiest F##### place ive ever stayed, roaches are everywhere, i moved the mini fridge and those things ran like the scene in ratatouille when the grandma shot out the celling and they went running, i mean like a ice agent running after and illegal bad, please save your money and never come here, and plus, no refund lol

The original room I booked had roaches on the bed, on the wall and in the bathroom. I had to get another room which was ok but not clean enough. The floors were dirty, no chair for the table and no microwave in the room. I know cleaning have a lot to do but it's still not excuse for how the rooms were

I got charge a fee for damage just in case I guess but wen me and my kids got in that room fell asleep and got bit to death so I made the nicest front desk agent the got change my room and he did put us in a better room but the room I was in 44 I got bit to death I’m still itching the wouldn’t refund my money for that room or comp my night worst property on Harlem from Chicago to new York Harlem

This place is absolutely disgusting,there was 2 roaches in the bathroom and also bed bugs on the bed. They wouldnt refund us our money after we told them what we found and that we would not be staying in such a disgusting place,they said there was nothing they can do.Please dont stay at rhis disgusting place!!!!!!!!!!

This motel should be shut down! The place is falling apart, mattresses are brown & moldy, infested with bed bugs, once you turn on the shower-cockroaches come out of the drain, same with turning on the bathroom faucet-a bunch of cockroaches came out from the drain, the piping is old, rusted n falling apart, curtains are in shambles & an abominable odor reeks from inside. This place needs to be reported! I guess when you wanna make a quick buck, you don't care how your business is ran, or what repulsive conditions you are selling to the public. It's INHUMANE for anyone to live on a premises like that.

I just tried to cancel my stay case the last time I stayed I had roaches in my bag from the property so embarrassing like I stay here allot front desk wen I come is the nicest but the property is trash gang banging and roaches and mice they wouldn’t even let me cancel even tho I spend a lot of money in the hotel so they don’t care about u they jus want the money it’s filthy and unsafe pastime I stayed I tried to b nice and not complain about the Mexican that stayed next door to me screaming fck black people but the want cancel my reservation so I wouldn’t stay here it’s filthy

the bathroom smelled extremely weird, the wifi wasn't working and the remote didn't have the casing on it.

Room was dilapidated. No toilet paper hanger, no hand towels, tub had paint in it, boards on the floor were coming up and the sink kept backing up because there was no way to get the stopper to lift because it was broken. Had an old microwave dated back from 1980 and a fridge that couldn’t keep frozen foods cold plus couldn’t get the room cool enough so I sweated in the room all night. The tv kept stalling so several channels stopped in the middle of scenes and stayed for over two days til I called and asked them to reboot the tv. WiFi constantly keeps going out.

Room was not cleaned very well. Noticed a roach on the first day. They were unable to provide any washcloths the entire weekend. The maintenance man decided to be hammering something at 2 am and was very rude with another guest that asked him what had been going on so late. I will not be back at all and would not recommend anyone else to stay here

Our room was facing the main roads. No privacy at all. So noisy. Overall quality and cleanliness bad.

A lot of plastic bottles and cans thrown on the premises and aren’t cleaned up. If I ask for a towel because I check in late there shouldn’t be a problem but I have been told that I have to ask housekeeping for towels even though they weren’t there in the first place.

The room had the reek of cigarette smoking. Also the aroma of pot smoking was evident outside. The towels were very skimpy. It's just old and a bit worn out. Had to go up a flight of outside steps that were a bit tricky to walk on. Located on a main street so there was a lot of road noise. Luckily we only had to stay for one night.

It was awesome. The hotel was awesome. We parked the car right in front of us. The lady that checked us in was very nice. The air conditioning wasn’t put in right you could fill the cold air coming in.

This property which the exterior had been upgraded over the last few years wasn’t taken the same care inside the room. The curtain on the window was ripped off the rod so it didn’t close right, the light near the window was a tall light not a light near the bed with a low wattage bulb so you could hardly see, the flooring was vinyl so anything you had on your shoes got dragged through the room because of lack of area rugs, the refrigerator looked like it was ripped up in the front door and the shelving, the WiFi and the tv constantly went off over the three nights I was there so it was really hard to do the work I needed to do, room was missing hangers, no phone, and my cards to my room kept losing their code and they weren’t near my cell phone. For the kind of money they were charging I was expecting the basics like the correct amount of towels and wash rags. They didn’t know what those were. I asked if they had scissors I could borrow because I bought a small bag of veggies and needed something to cut it open and they couldn’t help with that even.

The entire staff was so nice! I could definitely tell there was a lot of love for the hotel. The mattress and pillow were the best feeling ones I have ever had at a hotel. This will be my first call for future trips to Chicago.

TV didn't work-turned on but nothing after that. Went to office 3 times-tried 2 more remotes. After third one, the office person came to my room. She tried a few things but was unsuccessful. She told me give her 10 minutes, she would call someone. This is now about an hour after check in. I hadn't unpacked. She said she could give me another room but said the other one wasn't "new". Not sure what that meant. This was now 11:14 pm. No one showed up or called me so I called the front desk a few minutes after midnight. It was a different person on a new shift. She had been told about the tv but said it was too late for someone to come out. Would have been helpful to know that. Before I would use the toilet I had to flush it twice to get rid of whatever matter was floating in it. In the morning, I took a shower. No tub, a small 2-3 inch "curb" along the shower. I was standing in water; I didn't think it went over the "curb" but the floor was covred with water. I did have the shower curtain properly placed. I had my shoes near the door, they were wet. The water went out into the are near the sink outside the bathroom. I dried my feet before getting out of the shower but had to step on the wet floor. When I got to the bed and took the towel to dry my feet, the bottom of my feet were black so I had to dirty the towel. There was no bathmat. There were 2 washclothes, 2 bath towels (I used one for my hair), and one hand towel. Not sure why 2 of the others and only one hand towel.

The staff was fine but the room itself was so dirty. What looked like either bed bugs or little roaches were crawling on the bed and then a spider came down from the ceiling and was just hanging, as someone who is terrified of spiders and bugs I had to check out immediately. Also the bedding had pubes in it, honestly just take your money elsewhere

Website said 'full size refrigerator/FREEZER'. NOT TRUE. Mini fridge only. Front desk apologized but said no rooms had a freezer. Couldn't keep medical insulin cold. Also air conditioner well out of reach. Needed to stand on a chair and never did feel cool air come out all night.

The room was NOT as pictured. It was old and dated. Raggedy furniture and paper thin walls. I was very uncomfortable with hearing neighbors having sex and being very loud. It was just not what i wxpected at all. Trashy hotel and clients. This was a great reminder to not wait because i settled for this trashy place.

We had a slight issue with theTV but Kate resolved in no time. She was very patience with the my questions, very friendly and helpful. Her demeanor is of great customer service

Very nice place to stay for one or two nights, probably not long term! If you book thru expedia they make you pay a refundable $100 deposit upon check in so be aware of that. Staff was very nice in the morning :)

The advertisement on the website and on hotels.com was not exactly what we ended up having. It did not feel or SMELL clean, and it definitely didn’t feel safe or welcome. The front desk receptionist was nice, but we didn’t feel safe in the environment.

It was a nasty place that didn't look like the pictures. I have a picture of one of the 3 roaches I killed in the room. It was dirty, the shower didn't drain the first morning, There was an old washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. It was noisy, all kinds of people walking around and going up and down the stairs which were right in front of my room. The trash can in front of the room was overflowing. I bought lysol and sprayed the whole room! The internet was out the first night. Never again!

Should not have dirty feet after taking a shower and walking across the floor my son also stayed there and had cockroaches in his room only good thing about the place was the staff in the office. Do yourself a favor and take a pass on the Stone Creek Inn.

The walls were dirty, the shower looked grimy, it smelled weird, there were weaker walking around and there were people being loud all night into the morning right outside my window. You know a hotel is when they have a vending machine with condoms. The place was super sketch

It’s a decent option if you just need a simple and affordable place to rest for the night.

Asked for Disabled access. The answer should have been no. However if there was a ramp available to get a wheelchair or scooter over the step then it was a useable room. Had a walk in shower which is great however could not get a wheelchair close to the toilet. So it comes close for an inexpensive and overnight stay. Fix the ramp access a movable wooden ramp works and get to the toilet and the stay would have been brilliant. Close but no cigar.

From the non refundable policy, the lack of professionalism from the evening desk staff & the overall atmosphere, id never recommend this place. The manager, Jordan, was nice, but that’s really where the good ended. From a leaky mini fridge, constant bugs in the room, THEY ONLY HAVE US TWO TOWELS FOR A 4 DAY STAY, I had to go buy my own towels because when I went to ask for new ones “they were out”. I got laughed at for asking a question about the WiFi by the evening lady, your feet were black after a shower from the dirty floor, just found it to be extremely unsatisfactory.

There was fight with ghetto people last night. The curtains were broken, and a shoe was left outside, batteries were dead in the remote, received new ones and remote still sucked. WiFi was terrible most of the night and then eventually worked. Room chair was stained and spotty.

The rooms are nasty. The bedding has stains reeks of weed. The bathtub and the shower is so old and molded. I wouldn’t dare step foot in it. They had bedbugs. I could feel things on me at night and then I woke up and went in the bathroom and had bite marks and foun little bugs crawling. It was absolutely disgusting. The whole place needs to be exterminating needs to be cleaned.

DONT GO HERE!! front desk staff was incredibly rude; seemed annoyed we were checking in at the posted check in time and did not create a welcome atmosphere in any way. we got to the room and it was covered in trash and dirt; bed was clearly unmade/unwashed and dirty blankets were on the floor. there were bags full of trash on every surface except the sink. we immediately left and weren't able to be refunded

This stay was the worst experience I’ve ever had. It says check in is a 3 but the room wasn’t ready until much later. I was in a hurry to get to my event and asked if I can leave some things in the room even tho the cleaners hadn’t been in and was told that’s fine and that they’d let the cleaners know but when I get back at night my stuff gone. Oh and not to mention the room smelled so bad of cigarettes it triggered an asthma attack. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. The floors were dirty. Walked bare foot from the bathroom to the bed and the bottom of my feet were black.

Bathrooms filled with mold rooms don’t look like picture at all floor was never cleaned in awhile bedding very nasty and yellow it’s a no smoke rooms but burn holes in blankets I checked in late so had no choice but to stay but I booked for two night they wouldn’t refund the other night back I will never stay or recommend to anyone ever in life.

Everything was good except the cable tv would go in and out and the floors were not swept and the water was way too hot when I was trying to take a shower.

Room was clean - I wore socks on the bare floor and they were clean!! Staff was helpful. Commercial location on busy street. Starbucks across the street, Walmart 1/2 mile away and the most amazing store next to Walmart - Pete’s fresh produce - a must see. Only problem was the WiFi that went on and off - a lot off - tv was a big problem and terrible selection of local stations. For the price, this was a nice deal but definitely not 5 star!!

The bed was clean, which is ok

The bathroom was just as bad. The toilet had not been cleaned properly, and there was mold growing in the shower tiles. The towels were stained and smelled like mildew, and the sink had toothpaste residue from the previous guest. I even found trash left in drawers and under the bed, which tells me the room wasn’t cleaned between guests. To make matters worse, the staff seemed either overwhelmed or indifferent when I brought up my concerns. I asked for a different room, and the second one was barely better. At that point, I just laid my own towel over the bed and hoped to make it through the night. This place should be inspected immediately, because no one should have to pay to sleep in filth. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Stay away unless you’re okay with sleeping in what felt like a forgotten, bacteria-filled time capsule.

There was a roach coming from The bathroom though

The floor was not cleaned at all in the bathroom. There was what looked like ash behind the door. It was nice of them to leave us at least 1 little bar of soap since we did forget to bring our own. The tub had wayy too many stains to feel like showering in it wouldnt leave you with an infection. The microwave in the room i believe should be classified as an antique. It worked fine but you can tell it was at least 20 years old. The bed was fine and the parking was fine. I didnt feel like i was going tk get mugged right away.

Street Noise and Neighboring Room Noise easily heard. Repeated keycard issues; needed to frequently enter keycard into door lock before it would finally work, if it worked at all. Needed key replaced twice in only a 3-day stay. Toilet paper needed on arrival.

Unfortunately the smoke smell in the room was ridiculously strong. My fiancé and I could barely sleep in there. The door didn’t properly lock. Other guests were loud and we could hear all movement in other rooms. We felt so unsafe and uncomfortable here.

Got the room for a yrip for an appointment we had close by. We got there late, but the office worker was friendly. One suprise was we had to pay 100 cash deposit for reserving an booking on Hotels.com app an I was confused on why. There were some guests or people outside in parking area. Some where loud at night thru the early morning. Parking was kind of hectic since we couldnt park near or room. Once in the room it was nice for a smaller hotel an very clean. One negative was not much water pressure in the shower. For a cheaper quick rest stay I highly recommended compared to other places.

Door didn’t have the security latch attached, so used a desk to block the door for the night. Car alarm went off on someone’s car at 2am, waking me up and had to make sure it wasn’t my car. Didn’t turn on the heat since the ac/heat window unit was filled with dirt and dust. Overall not a good experience, so will find another hotel to stay at in the future where I feel safer and can get some sleep.

The room was not clean. The floor was sticky. The shower was barely clean. It was hair and soap residue all over the shower. The shower pressure was horrible. The WiFi didn’t work at all. I guess you get what you pay for but I would not recommend this place unless you needed a quick stop and rest.

Very good for a no tell motel. Room was comfortable but seemed furnished at estate or garage sales. Could have been better maintained and cleaner. Literally saw a roach. Loud outside all the time but not too bad inside. Still slept fine. Ultimately if you have little self respect or financial trouble, it’ll do the job better than the average hourly rates motels.

The room itself was great but unfortunately the lock on the door was malfunctioning and had to be opened manual by mater key which meant I couldn't leave the room or would not be able to get back in. When booking my room the wrong date was put in was put in wrong when booking it with motel.com at night I had a little bit of a problem trying to get it fixed guy working said he couldn’t do nothing. I had to call the company the company call him and then I went back and talk to him and he said just come in and see the manager in the morning and they change the date. Everything went great thank you very much.

I couldn’t sleep the homeless kept knocking on the doors

Someone kept on hitting the walls like making sure I didn't get any sleep or felt safe enough to stay all I showered and then I lett because this crazy every where I go someone is following me like doing the most and I'm not bothering no one at all

I understand that this is a motel but they have no control over the behavior of tenants. They make a lot of noise they are drinking and smoking and screaming outside. It's not an environment that feels safe

They do have some new rooms which are nice. But they have not cleaned up the drug addicts that have rooms there and people are coming all hours of the night. Toilet was broke had to stay in for a day while fixed it. Then out of towels. You won't get any sleep till morning. I was supposed to get a one day refund and nothing

The property is full of homeless people that keeps coming and ask you for money or cigarettes and the staff is so mean
