Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodstock/Atlanta North

Although I was eventually moved to a different room, the fact remains that I was initially assigned a room containing blood-stained bedding and pillows. This created serious concerns regarding the property's housekeeping standards, room inspection procedures, and commitment to guest safety and cleanliness. I attempted to speak with the General Manager on the evening of the incident but was informed that he was unavailable. I attempted again the following day and was initially unable to reach him. When I eventually spoke with the General Manager the following morning, I requested that the first night's stay be refunded due to the unacceptable condition of the room. He declined and instead offered 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points. What concerned me most, however, was the manner in which the complaint was handled. During our discussion, I advised him that I intended to report the matter to Wyndham Corporate and, if necessary, to Expedia. He responded that doing so would not solve anything, that the hotel would continue operating, and that the matter would eventually disapp

Great location. Breakfast is simple. It's worth the money I paid It's great that facilities had laundry. Nice Hotel for Baseball tournaments. Near East Cobb Baseball Complex Would definitely stay again. Beds were squeaky Found a small roach in the bathroom

The room had a horrible smell. Everything needed to be updated. No fridge or microwave as shown in website. Shower knob turned round and round. Location to E Cobb ballpark was excellent but that was the only upside. Would not book here again.

Our stay was for granddaughter’s high school graduation. Location was perfect for dining, shopping and attendance to the auditorium.

Just the wall are real hollow. Some couple above me was walking around all night & kids jumping around made it a lil difficult to sleep.

Traveled with family for ball tournament. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and clean. My only wish would have been a mini fridge and a hair dryer. Breakfast was okay—grab and go style.

I didnt like the fact that you can hear ever thing in the next room and people trying to vape or smoke in there rooms at 5 am and setting off the alarms.

I paid more for 2 nights c here than I did at a Wyndham in Gatlinburg. Ridiculous

The front desk staff during check in and out were great. The bed i was sleeping in wasnt to bad. It wasnt the most comfortable bed I have been on but it definitely wasnt the worst. The rooms had a bit of a smell to them, the floors felt sticky, maybe a little more lighting would be great. Our biggest issues is we didnt realize they only giving us a quarter roll of toilet with no extra roll. We found that out at 3am when I used the restroom. Someome did knock on our door 30mins before check out wanting to know if we were leaving yet. That was very weird. I never had that happen to us. Also the hallways were way hotter then our room. Our friends rent the room two doors down from us and their room was very hot. So it might be time to have someone like at all that

We drove from West Arkansas and brought things to drive for our 12 hour drive with ice packs and when we checked into our room with no refrigerator the ice packs thawed. We had no way to preserve our leftover food from dinner that night as well so that was also a waste of money. Not sure we will stay there again for any other business trips to Georgia coming from Arkansas.

Room 227 has a broken bed. The box spring was broken on one side so that side of the bed sank down so there was a lean to it. I had to call the desk twice from 11 pm to 11:50 pm bc the people above me were so loud stomping around. Then a fire alarm went off after midnight bc people were vaping. It was a rough night. There wasn’t much to the breakfast.

The lady that checked us in was super friendly. There were kids pulling the fire alarm half the night at 2am, noone did anything. They were banging doors and running up the hallways at all hours of the night. The bed was AWFUL!! There was a dip in the center of the bed and my back hurts from sleeping on it. I slept on the floor the last night.

Room was so noisy and doors slamming all night long.! Couldn’t get the shower to turn on.. just a terrible experience.!

The beds were lumpy, the carpet in the room was dirty and needed to be cleaned. It flared-up my allergies. The room needs updating, some of the paint on the shower wall was chipping and missing. The stopper for the sink was missing. The tissue dispenser on the wall has rust stains on it. The room above was very noisy until about 2:00AM.

Everything was great except for the shower curtain was very moldy and there was what looked like a bloody handprint on the wall which I cleaned off. The carpet could have probably been vacuumed a bit better. I would recommend and rebook for this place because for the price it’s a great deal.

The price was right and the bed was comfortable, but there were a number of things that did not work. For example, the remote control for the television, the hairdryer and the telephone. Also housekeeping was somewhat lacking, and when I arrived, I saw that there were some leftovers still in the refrigerator from the prior guests.

Neighbor was up til midnight watching TV and then was up early because they’re old and couldn’t sleep apparently. Walls were too thin and had the doorways between them which allow the sound to just transmit easily.

Breakfast was cereal and processed muffins. Micro must mean no amenities! No coffee in room!

The water for the shower was not hot, couldn't keep a good temp in the room, kept going from hot cold hot cold. The beds were okay. The breakfast was not the greatest.

Room and beds clean - staff friendly, did NOT feel that cleaning room the night before we checked out was appropriate as we were there 5 nights. They should have waited til we checked out to clean the room. That was annoying felt like they were "asking" for tip, versus always i give a tip at end.

This is where "booking dot com" asks what you liked, but they don't tell you it's the review part ?. The staff tried their best. It would do, in a pinch. Parking was good. It was pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. No Coffee maker OR mini-fridges in the rooms! Had to get moved to a different room because A.C. didn't work and some loud kids running above us at 11:30 p.m. Thankful to be moved and not staff's fault??‍♂️. One room had a microwave, one didn't. Breakfast was basic but "included".

Overall the stay was not very good. The lobby bathroom was pretty gross and everything had a wet dog smell to it and it's a pet free facility. The outlets in the room were all loose and barely held any electronics. We had to wear socks in our room because the floor in the room was making our feet dirty. To make an overall bad one night stay worse, someone set off the fire alarm at 1am and when I asked the front desk about it they made it seem like it happens not infrequently. Would not recommend staying there, definitely not the 8/10 stars that the reviews say.

The laundry room was pleasantly surprising; it was fairly clean and I was able to do a couple loads of laundry - cost was $2.50 total per load. The furniture in the lobby is worn out, stained and dirty. Parking was ample. Hotel was in a good location. I have stayed here twice. Will not be staying again! Neither time did I get the room I had reserved. Someone, maybe the manager, needs to take some responsibility for the needs - or lack there of - at this hotel.

There was a little mold above shower in my room. I informed staff by showing her a video on my way to ✔️ out and she immediately apologized. As I was leaving the manager ran up to me apologized and offered to take a day off for inconvenience. I truly appreciate the staff

The location was great for what we needed. There was plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. The beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. The bed skirt on one bed had several holes and rips in it. One of the pillowcases was extremely dirty. The tub had chips in the porcelain and the walls had chips out of the paint. The artwork on walls was extremely crooked.

The staff were literally so sweet, and the price was really good for the area. Room and facilities were clean and neat. Definitely a 'micro'tel! I was having dorm room flashbacks lol. But considering the price, not terrible.

It was cocroach in my room , in the bathroom, at 12 A.m in the morning. I didn’t like the place. Usually if it happens to someone, they have to return your money. Even they didn't offer to me, they told me either i can switch my room or leave the hotel , i didn't have a car. Where should i go at midnight.

Only reason I'm giving this place a hight review is for Tiffany, from the first encounter Tiffany made us feel comfortable she was very personable and she was hands on running back and forth making sure we were comfortable despite a few issues. The first issue was the remote was not in the room so we called Tiffany and she quickly gave us a new remote. Then the iron also did not work and again we called Tiffany not wanting to cause her inconvenience she ran and got us a new iron, wanted to air-dry my hair in the morning and the blue dryer did not work(not reported as we didn't want to bother any longer and it wasn't a big deal). She apologized and reminded us she would run to Cater to us for whatever we need it. She was really the highlight of this place. Thank you for your humor and for being so attentive. The place could use some upgrades to the equipment but the service we experienced was seamless.

Everything was good and accommodating. The beds are very "bouncy" you will disturb your partner if you move at all during the night. Other than that would recommend as its centrally located and clean.

Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. though I could not get rid of the urine smell in bathroom --- I tried applying alcohol around toilet area(?) Loved the Amana air/ heat conditioner!!! for temp and refreshing air flow. Would definitely stay again for the price---though they missed on a couple of points.

We normally stay at a different hotel chain but needed to be in this specific area where my preferred chain does not have a location. My husband wanted to keep it “budget”, so that’s what we did. The property is in a good location and is walkable to a sandwich shop and a Mexican restaurant. Other food options would need a car or an Uber. Upon arrival, check in was without problems. The reception area was clean. Our room was on the second floor away from the elevator. The room was quiet, and the AC was cold. Breakfast was continental but adequate. The gym had a treadmill, elliptical, and a bike but no weights. There was no used towel receptacle or trash can in the gym. Furnishings in our room could use an upgrade (couch had a large hole, hairdryer didn’t work, phone was non functioning and wiring pulled from the wall-all reported to management but not fixed during our stay). Management was polite but not friendly. All in all it was adequate for our needs but I would not stay here again.

Ran out of towels two days in a row, had to ask for soap and shampoo, fire alarms going off all times of the night, drink machines ripped me off three times, people in the halls having arguments at 200am, beds and pillows are completely worn out, breakfast was not as advertised, outside entry doors were not locked at night. A very bad experience. I will not stay at any Microtel again, even if was free. Stay away.

The rooms are pretty much soundproof. You do not hear all the other people staying in the hotel talking or walking above you. The beds are comfortable, but could be a little firmer. We had a queen bed in a handicap room and while the bathroom was spacious there was no vanity. I understand this is to accommodate for a wheelchair, but some type of shelf would be nice. Also, a coffeemaker and a mini fridge would make things easier. We stayed for two days and I always bring drinks and snacks such as string cheese and yogurt. We did not know there was not a fridge in the room. Other than that the employees are all very friendly. The manager is a very nice woman! Met her in the elevator and she was just so nice.

We did not know there was not a fridge in the room. Other than that the employees are all very friendly. The manager is a very nice woman! Met her in the elevator and she was just so nice.

Shower/bathroom was not clean and the lever was loose and in poor condition, the employee at check in was unprofessional, there was a drunk vagrant in the parking lot the night I checked in and when the desk attendant was informed she didn't seem concernened and spoke about it like it wasn't the first time.

The staff is extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Microtel properties are no-frill, basic rooms. They are clean, good, well lit and we felt safe there.

We stayed here for a nearby basketball tournament an I would eat this motel at the top of all we have stayed in while traveling. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The cleanliness and comfort was top notch. Will definitely stay here again if in this area.

The Heat didn’t work in our room, and the staff was fully aware of this before we checked in, because they weren’t surprised at all when we called down about it.

Cons: Elevator had missing signage with old glue/tape left. Drink machine out of order 3rd floor. Guest had dog on 3rd floor. Barked late several times in hallway disturbed us/our sleep-were told it was an alert dog. Affected our comfort. Hall doors to rooms slam VERY loudly. No smoking sign torn off our room door in hall. Bathroom sink no drain stopper, facial tissue cover rusted, hair dryer screen torn, door stop rubber torn off/stuffed with tissue, one window curtain closure rod missing, tv control box/ wires a mess hanging underneath, telephone no dial tone or instructions how to reach front desk, breakfast plates and bowls very flimsy, coffee cups ran out and trash can totally full at 8:00 am with only one guest there besides the two of us.

Well, I have stayed at two Microtel’s now and the rooms don’t have refrigerators so it’s definitely not my type of hotel

Rooms were basic but for the price of laying your head down for the night, it was exactly what I wanted. Bathroom was well supplied and lit. Staff was courteous. Lobby was well equipped. I’d stay here again.

Bare bones hotel. There was no refrigerator, microwave, or hair dryer in the room. Basically just a bed, shower and TV. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Not what I expect from a Marriot property.

The guy at the front desk who checked us in was super sweet and friendly. Overall the cleanliness of the place was very nice and clean. Although our room kind of smelt like cigarette smoke. We’d stay again though.

In fairness i should have complained sooner. I wasn't sure if housekeeping only cleaned every other day or on a schedule of some kind. Housekeeping came one throughout my stay, sat to fri. I asvised the management on my last day and id'd so.e other problems with the room. As significant advantage for me was its location.

The property is clear and well lit. No apprehension about the parking lot after dark.

The staff here go above and beyond and have some of the best customer service I have experienced at any place I’ve stayed, and I travel a lot. I don’t normally leave reviews but this place deserves it.

The front desk people are always nice. That’s about the only good thing about this place. It says no dogs but everytime I’ve stayed, I’ve heard dogs barking. People are up at all hours of the night being loud in the hallways. The cleaning is not so great. I’ve had pee left all over the seat, hair still all over the shower, I make sure to wipe with chlorox everything. You get what you pay for I guess. It’s a step above a motel 6.. if you can afford a little more, I’d pay the extra.

Wendy at the front desk was both professional and friendly. She did a great job checking me in and out with no wait. Gave top tier service! Room was perfectly clean and comfortable with the exception of some staining on the window seat cushions. Worth the rate l was charged. Will return there again. Thanks Wendy!

One of my locks on my door was broken and you can’t even use it. The shower facet was difficult too turn and the water never got hot enough. If these things are addressed, I would stay again.

The property was near 2 nice restaurants. The room was nice. Only issue was that the toilet ran after every flush.

Make sure your room is clean before you unpack check the whole room. We found a dead roach in our bathroom. Unfortunately we switched our room …. Our first room had queen size beds. Second room full size. Beds are comfortable. The night here was affordable.

Yes I have enjoyed my stay here. I’ve been coming to this location for a few months now and I’ve always had a good experience. The front staff is very friendly and helpful! House keepers are very friendly and helpful as well!! Ms. Felicia that works the front desk is so so helpful and sweet! You can’t go wrong renting a room here!

Decent stay for one night.

and the price. A couple challenges were: 1) Room TV had the wrong remote. However, the issue was rectified. Was provided one remote for sound and another remote for changing channels. Strange, but functional. 2) Room key/card kept having to be re-charged and established. That happened three times. I was on the third floor so definitely delayed eaxh time my arrival back into my room. The front desk service was always friendly and professional.

Woke up with a rash the next day due to bugs. The room was closed and fumigated after my stay

1st room(124), had bugs - 7 insects/bugs in my first hour. No bugs seen in 2nd room (201)! But, the conditions were disgusting & ultimately proved unhealthy, more on that later. Conditions: an overpowering musky chemical smell. Like moldy laundry. Carpet was stained (yellow-orangey-red almost brown) with matching wall stains. A filthy AC vent with equal amounts of debris-dirt-trash & guck as the NYC subway grates. Kept it off. The caked-in guck between the tv remote buttons took one pack of (9)Clorox wipes to get mostly off It. Pack two helped remove stains/hair/etc. from the toilet, sink,& shower. I began feeling upper respiratory symptoms night2 (Friday) scratchy/bumpy/red throat, cough, & headache. By Saturday morning I had an elevated temp & all symptoms worsened. Thankfully my friend offered me her home & helped me gather my things from the hotel. I checked out Saturday night. Today, I went to urgent care & was diagnosed with Influenza d. How are y’all part of the Wyndham chain?! Your Reviews & Ranking for Clean/Condition are straight lies.

There breakfast was terrible and tea and coffee tasted terrible as well as their juices.

Well to start no garbage can in bathroom ,no hairdryer, no fridge, no microwave… would HAVE to pay 10 bucks extra for those !!!! No night light by bed .. no decaf coffee downstairs..no coffee maker in room !!!! … toilet wouldn’t flush properly had to get plunger from desk .. I feel the price was too high for what I got .. one good thing bed was comfy.. but that’s it ! Would like a partial refund if possible..

We and four friends stayed here for a conference. The covers on our beds were not clean, when we flipped the sheets back, we found hair and the floor was not clean. The shower head barely worked and the water wasn’t hot.
