It’s been a very long time since I had to fill out paperwork info at a hotel. Old school for sure. 😊Clean room. Quiet area. Even though it was located near the interstate it wasn’t noisy.

The location is pretty good and there are no homeless people around. The pillow is not comfortable. Also people upstairs the kid keep running around and make stumps noises. I know it is not a Management problem but they should check them.

While it's not super close to any fast food or takeout places, there's a mini mart nearby, as well as a restaurant. And if you've gotta have your Ludy's, it's just a short drive down a back street. I've never brought a pet, but I believe they will take pets, probably with a fee. If you're looking for a friendly, affordable option, this is a great one for going to the airport, passing through, or even staying for a few days.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated and looks well kept. However there was no one at the front desk when we arrived and had to wait 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. Also, the shower in our room did not work and this was very disappointing.

Room smelled like dog n curry. They pleasently moved me. Room still smelled . Bad security for a woman travelling alone

It was easy to get in and out. The lobby was clean. There were nice oak trees on the edge of the property. The sheets and bedding were clean, as was the bathroom. The chair that was provided for seating was filthy. Needless to say we couldn’t sit on it.

When I seen it on the website it was going for $66 plus taxes. I did not see anything about a $15 charge per dog. It just said dog friendly. So it ended up being much more than what I had thought or it was worth. It was not homely. Feeling. I felt I was in a cheap one night hotel.

The check in was efficient. The beds were comfortable. The location was marginal at best. It was located under the 5 freeway and the surroundings were unkept and dirty. The TV in the room was tiny. I reserved a king bed room online with my booking, but upon arrival with our small dog, was told we could only have a room with two queens. I'm baffled by the rationale for that. The furniture looked very dated and used.

The price and freeway access drew me in. That it was as clean, comfortable, and as fully equipped as most hotels that cost twice as much was great. Despite being so close to I-5 in a ground-floor room facing the freeway, the road noise was not so bad (perhaps because the freeway is elevated above a tall berm). The laminate flooring had a few spots where a little tuft of flooring material was sticking up. It snagged my sock.

Nothing Rude counter person. Furniture was old and beat up. There were numerous stains on the fabric of chairs and benches. I found it pretty bad at best.

The front desk staff was incredibly rude.He asked a bunch of very personal invasive questions that made me feel uncomfortable. I stacked things in front of the door to ensure no one was able to come in while I was sleeping. If you are a female traveling alone, do not stay in this hotel. The bed was nice, but the room furniture was visibly dirty and there was clear signs of neglect.

That day when I arrived at the hotel very tired, when I opened the door I was welcomed by this cozy and super clean room, which looks more like a small apartment because it has all the comforts like TV, microwave, coffee maker that also leaves you with 2 packets of coffee, sugar and cream, iron and dryhair machine, a sofa, the best part it was the confortable bed and pillow's, the patio is also very, very clean and I felt very safe because they have pretty good lighting on the night outside I was able to park my car in front of the door of my room, it is a safe place to stay, you will not find luxury but a super clean place and cozy place. The room was fine. The fridge was so loud. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable. I did appreciate having the ev charging stations right there. Breakfast would have been nice.

The Valley Oaks is clean, kind of quiet, and has good amenities. It’s comfortable, and even a basic room is quite spacious and pleasant! Feels like a lot of great value for every dollar spent. Pet friendly which is very helpful for me, and definitely a pleasant check in experience.

The owners were kind. I'm not sure if they did have or not, but breakfast was something we were hoping for.

Me and my wife have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times and we will every rime we come to woodland. We've paid between $72-$82 and the rooms r great. Its apmost lime a quaint littls studio appartment. We call it our home away from home. I would recomend this motel to any1 staying n that area.

It was horrible. There was no AC the TV didn’t work. The room smelled like piss. I’ll make sure I never stay there again. Hotels.com is really failing me lately. I think it’s time to find a new app because they don’t tell you the prices nor do they have good motels.

While the office staff are pleasant the facilities are located next to the freeway and with the thin walls of the building it was incredibly difficult to sleep when they place you on the side of the onramp. The beds are hard and incredibly squeaky and there were cigarette burns in the thin blankets in our non smoking room. Other than that i have no complaints

Friendly staff, and the room was very clean and in great condition. Hard to imagine anything better for the very reasonable price. I would have appreciated some brewed coffee in the lobby. In-room coffee machines don’t make good coffee and generate disturbing amounts of packaging waste.

The room shows lack of maintenance. Sink faucet not attached to counter so I had to use two hands to use it; no no sink stopper. Furniture in poor condition, couldn't get curtains to completely close, hole in couch upholstery, bedside lamp flashed for a while then went out.

Our stay was really good, room very clean and the smell was fresh and clean. On the website part of their amenities it listed Continental Breakfast and when we went to get some breakfast in the morning, they informed us they had no continental breakfast since Covid, eve though is still listed on their site.

This was the perfect dog-friendly location to stay at while traveling Interstate 5. The staff was friendly and efficient. The grounds were well maintained and the room was well appointed and clean.

I left a magnetic money clip with id’s in the room inadvertently. An honest staff called me long distance to help to negotiate a retrieval. These are high quality attributes. Safe lodging is precious.

No pillows on bed, no TV controller.

The hotel lied about continental breakfast and nothing was served, my room was not clean until the morning of my check out when they came knocking on my door for checkout cleaning . Theres a big green flies in the room can you imagine. The air-conditioning system was just making noise i had to turn it off so i can sleep.

I like staying here and have in the past multiple times. It's on the outskirts of town so it is perfect for highway commuters but not great for extended stay since there are no real restaurants or grocery nearby
