The unit was good. I was not a fan of the couch, as it took away from the room's unique touch. Other than that, everything was great. The staff was helpful and diligent. The unit was clean.
- 1/5
It is very old and it is very dirty .l like it because is had a lot of restaurants
- 3/5
Basic property. You get what you pay for. Staff was not attentive. Complain about people above us assembling something all night but all we got was a grunt. Walls are thin.

The rooms are very modern and clean. The shower was hot. The fact that there's a fridge and microwave is great. TV worked fine and there was a good strong deadbolt on the door. There were lots of hangers . I wish the bathroom window had a curtain but it's not that big of a deal.

Loved this motel. For the first time ever, I booked our room for a day later than we needed it at the end of our road trip. The staff member on duty was very gracious, helpful and he sorted it out - lucky for us, there was a room available. Our room was spacious, had great WIFI, a great bed, desk, sofa and a coffee table. The AC was a bit loud, but no worse than the other motels on this trip, and it worked well in this large space. Parking was right in front of our room, and the motel and neighborhood was very quiet. We left very early the next morning so I can't speak to the morning refreshments. We will remember to stay here the next time we are in the area.

Clean room, quiet and comfortable. AC worked fine, Comfortable bed, good shower too. Over all… comfortable stay.

Big, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower. Good location and great price!
- 1.5/5
Facility was close to airport which was ideal for a one night rest before driving to final destination the next morning I got TWO rooms; 111 and 211 (one on top of the other). Room 111 was as expected, except for noise (for both) from landscapers early in the morning. Room 211 had a used towel with makeup and hair, plus large bugs crawling.

I wish they would offer a pro-rata. We wanted to extend 4 hours and was told we had to pay the full rate of another night.
- 3/5
It was fine for a one night stay. Furniture was dated, outlets were not easily accessible, one of the lamps didn't work. Bathroom/shower was fine. Room seemed a bit run down, but the rate was very reasonable.
- 3/5
The building was fair but aged. The Jacuzzi in my room was not usable. I’m pretty sure there are a code issues with this room with electrical outlets and that’s why the Jacuzzi was not available. Also, I have never seen a shower built a shower tile directly to the drywall. I am a contractor myself so for the most part it was a mediocre experience, but the people at the red shirt were accommodating
- 4/5
Good for a 1 night stay near airport. A little dayed, but clean.
- 5/5
Lovely and perfect. Will definitely keep coming back
- 5/5
It was very clean and well maintained. For the price it was the best complex we have stayed in. Loved our stay will be back on
- 4/5
The place needs a little love, room was clean, but hallway and stairs were not cleaned. It was very quiet. Price was good and the room was big.
- 2/5
The front disk clerk it was very good and tryed to accommodate us from non cleaned room into a room he himself believed it was clean. It certainly appeared. The house cleaning staff. Really didn't care if they did their Efficiently or not. My wife was extremely upset and vowed not to return. It should be noted that we had stayed there one time previously and returned because we were very pleased. This time not so much.

beds were uncomfortable and there was a huge light shined bright into our window all night even with curtains closed. It was okay for one night but not somewhere i would stay more than one night. It was loud though and its hard to eep when u need to get back on the road the night day early.
- 4/5
Checkin/out was easy. Location was great, parking easy. Cons- some stains on the couch and someone's food left in the fridge. The front window was great for a breeze when awake, but too close to door lock to leave unattended. Would stay here again if other rooms similar!
- 4/5
Small property nice people and rooms clean ac works well very loud but cools room quickly
- 4/5
Clean. Comfortable. Close to Starbucks and airport.
- 1/5
The entire room and bathroom was dirty, roaches crawling around, curtain in bathroom wasn’t staying up, left dirty soap bars in bathroom, was a complete disaster n disappointment.

- 2/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean.
- 4/5
Clean room, i like the hardwood / laminate floor especially. Will stay again in future.
- 4/5
The room was clean and very spacious. Most of the staff was very friendly, and it was nice to have a fridge in the room. We did have an issue with the toilet clogging. We called the front desk to have someone come plunge it, they said they would send housekeeping, and we left for the day. When we got back late at night we noticed that no one had come to unclog it. I called the front desk again and the giy told me to go to the office and he would give me a plunger. Very unfriendly and uncaring that no one had bothered to deal with it when we called earlier in the day. Overall, our stay was good besides that situation.
- 4/5
This is an old motel, but my room was very clean, and neighborhood was generally quiet. I would stay here again.

This Journey Inn was a great place to stay at and it was very convenient since it was walking distance from a lot of restaurants and quick eats. I highly recommend the Journey Inn if you want a cheap and affordable hotel to stay at when traveling to Sacramento. I’d definitely come back again.
- 1/5
Mold in bathroom and living areas Not notified of $50 deposit charged Police outside front arresting a man banging on doors No deadbolt lock on door Netflix paused all the time - poor connection
- 4/5
Room was quite large and very clean. Staff was very pleasant and quick with checkin
- 5/5
Perfect for what I needed
- 3/5
Rooms were clean enough, but walls are paper Thin could hear people snoring sleeping in the room next to us and stompers upstairs. Check-in was smooth. Staff were courteous. Very affordable for a super quick overnight stay before catching an early morning flight.
- 5/5
The location was great! It was next to the eating establishments. The cleanliness was average. The staff at the reception was very friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Rom was very clea, check in and out easy. Coffe provided in the lobby. Floors were laminate, not dirty carpet. Facility very well maintained.

Nice place to stay. Reasonable and clean.
- 5/5
Very reasonable price, older motel, not next to the highway, in town, but worth the drive. The place has been renovated, the room is spotless, and the bed was comfortable. Well worth the price.

Terrific economy inn.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Excellent goods for the price, only improvement would be in room coffee maker.
- 4/5
No latch to double lock the door during the night. People in other hotel rooms were up probably past 3am banging around. Couple things weren’t cleaned fully (around the toilet on the floor there was pee), no shampoo/conditioner so a little inconvenient when you’re traveling and they don’t provide that like other places. Other than that it was a decent place to stay I wouldn’t hate staying there again because it’s so cheap.
- 5/5
Older property, but remodeled and spotless. About 2 miles from I 5, downtown Woodland. Large room, bed a bit firm for my personal taste, but I know everybody is different. Overall, a good night.
- 2/5
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a motel or hotel that didn’t use a top sheet. I was genuinely shocked by this.
- 5/5
Easy check-in, clean room, helpful staff. Located within walking distance of many amenities.
- 4/5
It was our first time staying at The Journey Inn. With prices as high as they are in California we are in need of affordability. We had family events in Davis but those accommodations are overpriced. The Journey Inn cam through for us. The rooms are spacious, newly renovated, with a large refrigerator and great A/C! There aren’t to many amenities, but it was a bargain. The area is quiet and is near the historic downtown. My only issue was with the shower. There was some mildew on the shower head and it looks like the renovators could have spent a bit more money on the shower head itself. Looked very old and used!
- 2/5
Seven stars? I don't think so! One of the two bed covers was clean, the other either worn out or not cleaned well, otherwise clean enough to make it comfortable. A/C made a really annoying high pitched whine, had to park on the street next to motel, windows don't open, microwave looked like a refugee from the 90's, pretty much just an older motel with a little paint to make it look not so aged. For a basic, no frills, inexpensive place to stay for a night, it's kay.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, and simple
- 1/5
Booked two rooms (online said 8 available) at 4am. We had a baby with us and needed a last minute stay. Upon arrival the front desk man did not come to the door but tapped a little window to the side and when i informed him we had rooms booked he said there were no open rooms and walked away. Do not recommend
- 5/5
It is in a quiet area and the dining is abundant
- 4/5
Just needed somewhere for a shower, sleep, and prep for the following days for a couple of nights during a local event. First two night were peaceful, but third night was noisy above me for a couple of hours starting at midnight (lots of walking, moving stuff, clunking and tv), previous two nights I didn't even need ear plugs. If like me your just looking for a shower, battery recharge and a night or two of sleep, it's worth the price.
- 3/5
Good and clean
- 5/5
Good place to stay but noisey.
- 4/5
I recommended this place
- 5/5
Great place. Great staff. Love the rooms.
- 5/5
Room and property are clean and well kept. Located close to a variety of eating and shopping places.
- 3/5
Stayed on my way to another destination. It was average accommodation.
- 5/5
Nice big parking places. I like that the refrigerator also had a separate freezer.
- 5/5
We had a large, comfortable room. The front office was helpful. The area was a bit noisy on Friday evening but only early and not enough to bother us.
- 5/5
Nice place, clean, people and staff were mostly friendly. Great stay for the price
- 3/5
The room waa accommendating for 1 night... however the noise from both "neighbor's was a bit much 😳... people knocking on neighbors door at 3 am and holding conversations 😳
- 5/5
Very good customer service
- 3/5
In serious need of deep cleaning. There was leftover food in one of the drawers. Lots of pillows, firmish mattress, semi updated decor. Next yo zero amenities. No shampoo or conditioner, the bars of soap were teeny tiny, no lotion, no coffee machine. Dirty microwave and exterior fridge.
- 5/5
Very nice room with plenty of space for luggage
- 5/5
Best staff
- 4/5
Good location convenient to everything. Property looked clean in photos but sofa in room, microwave, lamp bases, were not cleaned or vacuumed well enuf for me. TV, wifi were fine. Owner/manager was pleasant, friendly & responsive to requests.
- 5/5
nice big room
- 4/5
I very much appreciated the "no noise after 9pm" rule which was strongly enforced. Price was very good.
- 4/5
it was a lower cost place. was what i needed. i mean this in the best way, "you get what you pay for" nowadays more than ever. the desk person was super kind. honest evalutations by others. positive experience and worth the price given the options. only thing i would say - unless i missed something, the initial online low rate was smoking room. i did not know that or see that on the website. consequently, when i arrived, i had to pay an additional $25 to get a non-smoking room. was worth it, however, the added cost was not expected (again, might have been my fault for not seeing, or, i wish the rate would show that more clearly...........i did not notice when booking
- 4/5
The room was bigger than expected and the staff were great!
- 2/5
The toilet seat was broken.
- 3/5
Easy to access
- 4/5
Nice hotel for overnight stay on roadtrip. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Nice to have mini-fridge with freezer compartment. Microwave worked well. No coffee brewer in room, however in lobby/office, there was free Keurig coffee. Soda machine out of order, ice bucket had a crack and leaked melting ice water onto floor, however the flooring looked to be like luxury vinyl plank. Room was clean, updated with granite bathroom countertop, and bed was comfortable. AC was noisy, but worked well to keep room cool. No toiletries except a bar of soap, and no hair dryer. All in all, a pleasant quick stay.
- 2/5
Too bad it's on the neglected side. The price was right
- 5/5
In spite of there being a phone in the room, it didn’t work. So calling for a third set of towels was out of the question.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly environment
- 1/5
Management needs to learn how to properly run their business
- 5/5
Clean and reasonable
- 4/5
Limited parking
- 4/5
Loved that there was no carpet in the rooms and they were clean. Awesome that tv had the ability to get Netflix and YouTube. Beds were clean and comfortable. Small parking lot with parking “not guaranteed” for guests. We had reserved a room for 4 and only had 1 towel set. Toilet seat and lid completely detached from the toilet.
- 4/5
Overall very nice and clean
- 4/5
Good choice for an overnight stay. Provided all the basics needed at a reasonable price.
- 3/5
Turning off, on!y 19 channels while connected to their provider, dish network, and the TV not working at all for 3-4 hours or so. Also,im deaf/hearing impaired and made that clear many times to the coup!e that owns or manages the place. THEY only wrote once to me, and didnt listen to my needs in this area, to communicate by writing WHENEVER WE NEEDED TO SPEAK. OTHER THAN THESE THINGS IT WAS NICE.
- 3/5
It is on a busy street but was very quiet. The lady at the front desk was quick & efficient. She was friendly & appreciative to hat we picked the property for our one night stay After being up since 5:30am, we were tired & didn’t feel much like exploring so we didn’t see much of the surrounding area. It was a comfortable one night stay. I’d stay here again.
- 1/5
It was very disappointing to say the least
- 5/5
My stay was great, I have no problems or complaints whatsoever. I enjoyed my stay,
- 4/5
Shower was a little dirty but wearing shower shoes nullifies that issue. For the price it was worth it
- 5/5
I didn't have any problems, or misunderstood, everything went well. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
I always stop here when ever I am traveling that way. Decent place to stay for the price.
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
Mold on the shower head. No pool, it’s been filled in for years, the pictures are a lie. The area is very loud and busy. The room was okay, the mold and sticky floor were a turn off.
- 5/5
Hairs in the shower. Otherwise it was a great stay
- 1/5
This property was one of the most dirty properties we have ever stayed. The floor was filthy. The couch and chairs were riddled with stains. The bed was disgusting, and the bathroom was unclean. Everything had a film to it and reeked of cigarettes. We did not feel safe.
- 5/5
Nice location, hot weather in summer, AC worked good
- 3/5
Average will not return again
- 3/5
I feel the hotel needs an update, within the hotel rooms, their were plugs hanging, from the wall, there were places the paint has peeled, you need bath mats in the shower, also the room should have grab bars in the shower, Could you put in a small Coffee Pot.
- 4/5
Everything was fine. A tired motel with updating. Bed was comfortable, outside traffic was noisy, walkable fast food available. Room was boiling upon arrival but the AC eventually made it tolerable. Check-in was fast. A decent place with a good price for a road trip stopover.
- 5/5
We needed a place to stay before an early morning flight and didn’t want to pay a ton of money. This facility was quiet, clean, and safe. We weren’t looking for lots of amenities- just something that was reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Stay was fine. It was only for one night. Close to food and airport. Room was pretty clean but hair on bathroom floor.
- 5/5
Very clean and cozy! Great for weekend trips
- 4/5
Price was reasonable
- 4/5
spacious with couch, coffee table, and desk. AC was having issues.
- 5/5
Quiet neighborhood, staff is very nice
- 5/5
Family owned and very welcoming
- 1/5
Had bugs in the room thank God they weren't bed bugs but still nasty absolutely horrible noisy neighbors front desk did nothing about it several lights and things were broken or not working in the room just overall not a comfortable feeling anywhere would not suggest staying even with the lower price
- 2/5
I was treated very nicely by staff. Other occupants on top floor were scary and stomping on the floor. Bedspreads are old and didn’t seem clean. The smell in the room was strong of awful cleaning agents. I left after an hour and changed hotels.
- 4/5
Excellent choice for the price. Not far from the airport.
- 4/5
I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel because the reviews were very mixed. I booked this room as a last resort option for a friend’s wedding that I was working and attending, due to the other options being fully booked or over $300 a night. We ended up getting this room for $70 a night. For the price, it was great. The room was pretty clean and smelled clean, AC worked wonderfully. We always do a very thorough bedbug check in any hotel. The mattress was a bit dirty (food crumbs) but sheets & pillows were very clean and no bedbugs. Shower pressure and temperature were good. My only complaint was there was some hair left around the room and in the bed. The front desk manager’s English is a bit hard to understand, but he is nice and was accommodating. The room can be loud since you are right on the road, but white noise and the AC unit drowned it out well enough to sleep soundly. Overall, it was an affordable, good & clean place to rest our heads during a busy weekend.
- 1/5
There was bugs in the restroom don’t know what kind the chairs where gross they had stains look like prostetudes worked out of the rooms with their pimps
- 5/5
It was a comforable room with a location conveniently close to a lot of stores and restaurants.
- 2/5
Smoking room was all that was available when i arrived. Smelled bad. Some light fixtures didn't work. Furniture was old and shabby. Couch was visibly old, stained and dirty. Bathroom was ok. A sign at the office said, "Parking is first-come-first-served." There wasn't enough parking.
- 5/5
Nice and relaxing no loud noises clean and friendly staff
- 3/5
Towels were old with threads showing. Some unknown things on the wall in bathroom. TV didn’t work as it stopped changing channels. Had to disconnect it as it was the only way to turn it off.
- 5/5
Clean overnight stay
- 1/5
There was a language barrier with the staff at the front desk which made checking in a challenge. This property was run down. The furniture was very old, stained and beat up. The duvet on the bed had burn marks in it and appeared to be grey
- 4/5
Always a good experience staying at the Journey inn. However there was a miscommunication among staff and I arrived back to my room on the second day of my three day trip to find my room completely cleaned out and all my belongings tossed. Thankfully I was able to find the maid and get most of my stuff back.
- 5/5
The Journey Inn was surprisingly spacious, clean and conveniently located to the establishment I had to be at in Woodland. I was there for 5 nights... the daily housekeeping was great, the surrounding area was nice and quiet, lots of food options in the immediate area, and tons of shopping close by. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to Woodland.
- 5/5
Three staff are great here. The atmosphere is very homey. A great home away from home. I will start again
- 2/5
I did not realize there wasn't someone present at the property 24/7. Ibarrived quite late in the evening and after ringing the night bell several timas and attempting to call, I ended up paying to spend the first night in my car in the motel parking lot. I was finally able to raise someone very sleepy looking and in pajamas around 730 (office hours are listed as starting at 7). Everything was fine after that.
- 2/5
Stayed here for out of town work more times than I’d wish to. You definitely get what you pay for. old building. Facing a shady back alleyway. Mold in showers and showerhead. Old flimsy towels, bedding and mattress stains. Surprisingly I haven’t encountered bugs here.
- 5/5
The employees were very nice, room was clean, and the right price.
- 5/5
We stayed a night in a two double bed room. It was quite a big room.It had a small fridge and a small microwave which was very convenient. The room had wood floor which made me feel sorry for the people downstairs since we moved into the room at 1 AM in the morning. Hopefully they were not woken up by all the noise our moving around the room made. The bed was firm and the sheets comfy. The room was clean and neat. Considering that most hotels were full that Friday evening, we were thankful we got such a good place.
- 3/5
Good stop over for the price. Make sure you request a downstairs room. Shower good, bed good. Walls thin, could hear shower/talking in next room. A REAL downside, some folks came by with a large noisy truck, repairing something at 2:30 am. Lord knows what they were doing, but the noise went on until after 3 am!
- 1/5
I got a smoking room but the guy at front said I can’t smoke in it makes no sense it smells like an ash trey so I don’t get way not they have meth heads on the stairs in the middle of the night it’s disgusting
- 1/5
Paper thin walls, loud neighbors all around until 1am.

- 5/5
Thanks again. I will be back next year
- 2/5
It was affordable but not worth the inconvenience. There was no breakfast or anything offered, except for coffee in the room,
- 5/5
This hidden gem hotel is a great value for great rooms and great staff.
- 5/5
This is a wonderful hotel with great rooms and a wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Great place to stay while working out of town.
- 5/5
Kind staff and reliably clean, quiet rooms. The location is also located close to shopping, dining, and entertainment.
- 4/5
Really nice room for the price, I been here a couple times 😊
- 5/5
That was good experience
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed, quiet room and reasonably priced. Great spot to stay when on the road for work.
- 2/5
There was hair that looks like dog hair on the bed, there was hair in the tub from previous customer. No shampoo or body wash for us to use. Stairs were next to our room so people were going up and down the stairs, more like stomping. Wasn’t a pleasant stay, don’t plan on staying there again next time we pass through
- 4/5
It was very quiet! I was a solo traveler…wish they had those latches on the door for a little more safety. Clean. Microwave and fridge. No coffee. Fine for a quick overnight. Could use updating but I’m glad it was clean!
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
Clean room, no frills. Very basic but price reflects that. Easy checkin, staff friendly. Negatives, the wall mount heater/Air con very noisy. Walls thin and recommend staying on 2nd floor due to noise from hardwood floors upstairs. TV had 4 or 5 basic channels. No pool, although photos showed otherwise. Would stay again, only if 2nd floor room available. Limited parking spaces.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and big spacious clean rooms
- 4/5
the office staff are always friendly and polite. the rooms are clean. The furniture are older units that could use paint touch ups. The bed and bedding have always been clean and comfortable. I would recommend visiting here. Very reasonable rates.
- 4/5
Does the job..
- 5/5
Good price and enjoyable stay. The one thing though is the heater didn't heat up, it acted like air conditioning instead of heating.
