Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests expressing satisfaction with the cleanliness of the rooms and linens, but dissatisfaction with the virtual check-in process and lack of live person at the front desk. Noise and comfort of the beds are also mentioned as issues in some reviews.
- Clean rooms and linens
- Safe and relatively quiet environment
- Virtual check-in process and lack of live person at front desk
- Noise and uncomfortable beds

The location is convenient. There were no curtains and a lot of light came into the room making it hard to sleep. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken. I also thought there was breakfast, but when we left at 6:30 there was nothing out to eat.

I was very pleased at how well maintained this property was. The carpets in the hallway were vacuumed daily. The inside smelled clean. The staff was very nice. The cost was reasonable. There were McD and Black Bear restaurants in the same parking lot and a few more within two blocks. The pet area was fully stocked with poop bags and there was a nice grass area for the dogs. My only concern was the amount of people all around the area who were homeless or on drugs. However, that seemed to be true for pretty much the entire area that I drove in. But I felt safe in my room with people all around and visible.
- 3.5/5
The room was big and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. It was a quiet location and we didn't feel uncomfortable or unsafe there at all. I want to also stress nothing got broken into or defaced and we stayed for almost a week. There was a lot of suspicious activity in the parking lot, a lot of homeless at certain times of the day. Either there is a out reach or a lot of dug deals. There was no elevator.
- 4/5
For the price it was well worth it. Room was clean and had everything I needed. TV wasn't working but I was only there for a night so I didn't worry about it. Within walking distance of a McDonald's, Sonic and a Black Bear diner which is convenient. Does not appear to have an elevator, at least not that I could find. Again, not a problem for me but might be tough if you have large luggage.
- 2.5/5
It was close to the freeway and clean. There is no elevator and I had a broken foot! Non existent breakfast.

This hotel is just in a convinet location, only about 11 miles from the Sacramento airport. It's not going to win any awards anytime soon, but overall, the rooms are very clean (including the bathroom), the bed is comfortable, the staff was super friendly, and it has breakfast included (even though I didn't try it). There's a McDonald's, a Denny's, and a Black Bear Diner right next to this hotel, so lots of options to grab some grub. But the downside of this hotel is that there's NO elevator! So if you're on the second or third floor and have a lot of (heavy) luggage, good luck! You'll have to haul your junk for two or three flights of stairs! And believe, that's not fun at all. Also, the property sits right by busy highways, so it's somewhat noisy. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the vecinity of the airport. However, if you're aiming for doing activities in "Sac", this hotel is quite a ways away from the city (about a 45-minute drive with light traffic).

Very good
- 3.5/5
The price. No breakfast. Housekeeping entered before check out.
- 5/5
Nice place, only stayed one night, but it was good. No elevator.
- 4/5
Room is clean and spacious. Staffs are very kind. Location is good and it is easy to find foods and go anywhere....
- 3/5
Room was clean and well maintained. Bed was a little hard for my liking but the room itself was very nice. There was no elevator for the second or third floor which was fine for me but might be difficult for others. You have to drive through the McDonald’s parking lot to get to the front entry, but this made it a little more private. Had to check out early and the staff were helpful and understanding.
- 3/5
Ok not great
- 3/5
Good location right off the I-5. There is a Mac Donald, Black bear dinner and Sonic’s near the hotel. The only downfall is there are no elevators. Other than that good location for the price.
- 3/5
Room was OK for cleanliness, was just there for a weekend business trip
- 5/5
HOTEL WAS NICE AND CLEAN. THE HOTEL WAS AT A GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO A LOT OF DIFFERENT FOOD AND SHOPPING OPTIONS. HOTEL WAS CLOSE TO THE BASE BALL FEILD WHERE WE HAD TO GO SO IT WAS A PRIME LOCATION. I HONESTLY HAVE TO REGRETS OR DISLIKES FOR THIS HOTEL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IF MY FAMILY IS IN THE AREA AGAIN WE WILL MOST DEF BE COMING BACK TO STAY

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Facility was very easy to get to. No elevator, squeaky floor on the left side of the bed. Carpet in the hallway was really dirty, probably should be replaced. A lot of noise during the night that made it hard to sleep.

The area did not seem as safe. I had to sign a paper about safety concerns about my car and items. They also charge $25 per pet. When checking in I was given a key card for a room. When my kids and I got to the room and used the card the door opened and a lock was on the door a lady came to the door mad stating this is her room. We had to walk back to the front office and notify the card is already occupied by a lady. They called her and apologized and compensated her while we were still standing there then they gave us another key card checked that room and sent us there. I also saw roach crawling on the floor on the other end of the hall when heading to my car.
- 5/5
Just what we needed before our early morning flight.
- 3/5
My review is a combination of 1 and 5 stars. We were initially placed in an awful room 106. I think in a hallway if long term tenants. It had a rotten smell plus cigarette smoke. We asked for another room and the front desk offered room 108! No we said someplace far from where we are. So we were given room 216 that was very nice. Front desk seemed put out by the whole process. We won’t be back. What was the push to put us in that hallway?
- 5/5
Bus system will bring me to SMF Sacramento Airport on bus 42A. If I need to go to Sacramento I could also ride bus 42B. Check Yolo Transit bus website. Black Bear diner and Mc Donald’s Nextdoor. Mexican restaurant very close by.
- 4/5
My spouse loves McDonald’s coffee and water. I enjoy Black Bear. Both are at the same location as the hotel. The entrance is a little tricky because the hotel is behind McDonald’s and Black Bear and the street is busy. The hotel is small and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Check in was easy! In fact I arrived 2 hours early and the room was ready for me. The room was spotless and we felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool area needs a little updating. The water was icy and the surface of the pool is peeling. But I was able to sit in the sun and read a book before the rest of the party arrived. It was nice after a long drive. I was concerned about noise since the hotel is right next to the freeway off ramp. But our room was on the other side of the building. And the noise from the McDonald's drive through was not an issue. Breakfast was just muffins and coffee. There is no elevator in this 3 story building. The bath towels are thin and small but this was remedied with an extra set. And another thing to know is the walls are very thin in the hotel. And during our stay guests were not respectful (not the hotel's fault). One night at 3 AM a father was yelling a crying child and at 6 AM someone let their dog run loose down the hallway barking all the way. Will I stay here again? Maybe. For this trip, cost was the deciding factor.
- 4/5
Easy to find and super close to Yolo County Fairgrounds!
- 3/5
Annoying that they didn’t provide housekeeping service for a two night stay
- 4/5
Room spacious and clean
- 3/5
yes
- 3/5
If you're relying on the breakfast served at the hotel, you will be very disappointed. Option is one package of muffins, that's it. Coffee and Tea available. There is a McDonalds right out front.
- 5/5
The hotel was very comfortable and the bed was very nicely made up with very good quality bedding. Bathroom was clean and well equipped with soap/shampoo etc. Parking was very handy with a door leading to the lot directly. Close to I-5 for travelers.
- 5/5
The parking was great, people had pets there and they had areas for which they coukd walk there dogs.
- 4/5
The room was clean, comfortable, though a bit noisy at night, up until midnight at least I could hear people at the front desk, my room, #113 was right there, and I could always hear the ice machine.
- 3/5
Our room smelt weird abd had water damage

- 2/5
Lamp shades were soiled. No king size beds left when we arrived, so had to accept a queen size. No elevators and made two trips to the parking lot and up the stairs. Very disappointed with the state of the motel.
- 2/5
There was a large stain
- 5/5
So pet friendly
- 5/5
Clean and affordable room with great walking options for food. Easy pit stop off the I5 corridor.
- 5/5
Nicest days inn ever!
- 5/5
Best Days Inn I have been to. Front Desk was very knowledgeable and helpful during my stay in Sacramento for work. Thank You! I will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Really I’m was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice and clean room.
- 3/5
Need an elevator. Thicker walls.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly people
- 5/5
Staff property rooms all Phenomenal condition. Amazing treatment and service thank you everyone
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean. Convenient location. Polite staff.
- 5/5
The heater was not working. Machine for drinks and snacks took my money and there is no phone number to call and report it. The front desk said they can't help. There was no breakfast as indicated on the website.... Very disappointing
- 3/5
Staff was courteous and friendly but hotel room wasnt super clean as we didnt even use the microwave and it had grease finger marks all over it. Also floor was messy, and tops of bed headboards had not been dusted as well. At night, beds were uncomfortable, it was loud and noisy from hearing the people above us, loudness out in the hallway, and sirens and alarms going off all night. Parking lot was also dirty with garbage, alcohol bottles, and people loitering around. Would not be back to this location again.
- 5/5
customer service great and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Enjoyed myself definitely would book again
- 2/5
Me hospedé 2 veces , la primera en la planta baja y todo estuvo muy bien, la segunda en planta alta y la habitación estaba sucia y se veía con poco mantenimiento.
- 2/5
Room was clean … bed was a queen when I specifically requested a king … gal upon check in was rude … didn’t want us to have 2 keys … didn’t help with a request to watch football game … it was pet friendly for my service dog.
- 4/5
The room was clean.
- 1/5
Staff lacking. Refrigerator never really worked. Staff was told but did nothing about it. Everytime staff cleaned my room they used the coffee machine in my room. The noise at all hours was horrible. I found an empty vodka bottle in the dresser. Stated they had laundry facilities but they never worked and when asked they had no clue when it would be running again. Continental breakfast was a joke.
- 3/5
Yes, just noisy.
- 5/5
GREAT LOCATION.
- 5/5
The service I received! All of the staff was amazing and cordial throughout my stay
- 5/5
Staff is quite courteous, room is clean, as expected. Close to dining, within walking distance. Beds are hard.
- 2/5
We in were overcharged! Charged 50.00over quoted price!!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Everything was fine, room was clean and quiet, only complaint I got is, that it says free breakfast and there is no breakfast at all. Coffee and itty bitty tiny muffins don’t count as breakfast at all.
- 5/5
Check in was simple, staff got us our room quickly and on the floor we requested. Room and premises are clean and in nice condition. I am expecting a restful evening.
- 5/5
Great location. Friendly staff
- 3/5
There was a lot of noise during the night that sounded like a clothes dryer running with tennis shoes in it.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the upgrades/clean room. I was happy to see an iron/board, hair dryer, shower amenities. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and made checking in so easy. There were no people loitering outside which puts me mind at ease. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Convenient to airportand restaurants but No elevator .
- 5/5
Nice room that was clean. Nice employees.
- 4/5
Room was easily accessible and parking was close. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Parking area seemed safe, but not away from property, due to homeless
- 5/5
Parking area was pretty safe as it was where nothing else was. The room was real clean. The staff accommodating in given us a bottom level room. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
Place was dairy clean the people was nice

- 5/5
…
- 3/5
Property istelf is fine, seems updated interiorly. 3 stories and no elevator. So pack light or be prepared to haul your crap up the stairs. Theres a decent amount of food options around the property but breakfast at the hotel is some muffins and coffee. Roaches on the outside but none inside we saw. The beds are literally like plywood, so if youre into that... thats good. But we were stiff every morning.
- 5/5
It was clean, easy to access
- 4/5
Check-in was done through a video monitor system, which was unique. The only drawback was that there was just one monitor, so I had to wait in line a bit, but otherwise the process went smoothly. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay, especially for being close to the Sacramento airport.
- 5/5
clean room, nice property, near airport, would stay here again.
- 5/5
Safe, quiet, easy parking
- 5/5
Staying here was a pleasant experience.
- 3/5
Lack of amenities like a front desk person, decent coffee, etc.
- 5/5
Me and my children stayed 3 nights we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
The hotel is next to Hwy 113 so is convenient but you hear the traffic noise. Beds and shower were great.
- 5/5
Friendly town.
- 3/5
There is no elevator. Although I requested a first floor room (pet and disabled veteran spouse), we were placed on the 2nd floor… we climbed two long flights of stairs more than once to get our effects and small dog to the room. The hotel housekeeping personnel were the only hotel employees we ever saw and they were gracious. Our room was clean, the bathroom was very very small, and the room was not well insulated for sound… the 3rd floor occupants were jarring in their excessive noise and we heard many, many door slams throughout the late night as more people arrived. Pet: plenty of parking but lots of used needles along one side of parking lot. The plus to this location is the Black Bear Diner in the parking lot. Excellent food, gracious wait staff, fast service to include take-out, and very affordable.
- 3/5
But overall was okay.
- 1/5
Very bad.
- 1/5
It said breakfast was included there was only coffee nothing else the still have not returned deposit an 3rd floor no elevator
- 4/5
I did not like the virtual check in and not having seen any staff at the property
- 2/5
The rooms look like 1970 with a fresh coat of paint. There is no receptionist
- 1/5
The walls were super thin I heard doors opening and slimming shut all night
- 1/5
This location lacked a proper staff. The check-in was performed by a kiosk that shutdown and quit working leading to a backup of other guests unable to check in. This meant no front desk guest service was available. The only staff I encountered were cleaning staff all of whom ignored my requests explaining that they didn’t and wouldn’t speak English.
- 2/5
Not worth the money.
- 5/5
The room is very clean and the price is very affordable
- 3/5
Inability to having a proper complementary breakfast had ( only bite size muffins) nothing else! No coffee No milk No juice. When I meant ONLY!!! is just that! When I meant Nothing Else just that NOTHING ELSE!
- 3/5
No employee at main desk. Check in via kiosk very hard to hear / communicate.
- 2/5
Floors throughout the hotel were dirty and stained. Walls in the room including windows, mirrors, etc, were dirty with mystery spots and splatters. Lots of road noise. There was some trash floating in the pool upon arrival. Rough looking neighborhood. Breakfast was a joke, a few tiny processes mini muffins. The hotel was very hot, hard to keep room temperature stable.
- 3/5
There was there was no to go breakfast. There was just coffee Internet access was good. The beds were OK. The virtual front desk was kind of offputting.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Pro: Nice comfortable bed. Overall clean room. Con: No elevators.
- 2/5
Breakfast area had hardly anything. Room was fine, but no elevator to get stuff up to second floor. No on site staff for check in or check out.
- 3/5
Disliked kiosk check-in and pretty much zero choice in breakfast.
- 2/5
The place is really run down. Needs work. No elevator, the carpet is dirty. All was a bad experience!
- 5/5
Location is very close to the I-5, good for the trevelers. Check in &out through screenscreen
- 2/5
No elevator, nobody at front desk, food bad, broken lights in room nobody to tell.
- 4/5
Great hotel!
- 4/5
Nice pool!
- 3/5
Unprofessional virtual check in person wjo was constantly laughkng and joking with someone else. Occasionally the back that was blurred, would drop out showing her friend laughing and such as well.
- 5/5
It was just an overnight stay but was very pleasant.
- 3/5
Check in was a nightmare. There is no staff at all anywhere. Check in is by a video machine link to a person in Columbia ! He had a strong accent and with the low volume and background noise it was almost impossible to complete the check in. Will never stay at a Wyndham hotel again !
- 4/5
Nice hotel .... I was a little put off by the lack of an actual person at the check-in (the remote kiosk was new to me). No issues, but curious/concerned about how to handle actual issues without a real person there..... Breakfast was severely lacking.... 2 cold cereals (which were mis-labeled), and only white bread for toast. Guess you get what you pay for..... good clean room for a good price....
- 5/5
There were all the ammenities needed for a great stay. The property has two pools with barbeques and tables for outdoor dining. The beach is very close. Great location.
- 3/5
This hotel is in a bad location, there's no desk clerk, only the kiosk in the lobby.. no elevator and a meager breakfast offered. The room was okay.
- 3/5
The check-in was easy, although I don't understand why the actual person can't be there instead of a kiosk. I was given room 113 directly across from the ice machine, which was noisy at times. I emailed twice for help and the response was quick and very polite. A guide for the tv channels would have been helpful. My main complaint was a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor, which let me know it hadn't been mopped. On further inspection, there was more hair and debris in the rest of the room. The continental breakfast was very "bare bones".
- 4/5
Good safe place to stay when tracing in and out of north central California.
- 5/5
Perfect stay ! Would recommend! Checking in was different but easy . Super clean comfy. Only thing if you don’t do stairs or handicap make sure before checking in or during checking in to ask if you can get first floor room . No elevator and three flights of stairs otherwise it was perfect place to stay at! Free parking and free breakfast!
- 2/5
Horrible. If you’re checking this place out because the low price caught your eye, please know that this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. No staff on site. Check in is done through a screen with a worker in another place. I knew I’d made a mistake when I drove up and saw the outside. It looks like a place in a movie where the cops go to investigate a drug deal gone bad homicide. There is no air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel. The rooms have a/c. The carpeting in the hallways is filthy. No amenities to speak of. There’s a McDonald’s in the parking lot. I wish I’d paid the additional $20 and stayed at another place down the street. 0 out of 10. Would NOT recommend. 👎
- 4/5
Checkin uses a kiosk. Never seen this type of check in before. Property is a bit run down.
- 4/5
The room was pretty good size for the reasonable price. It took awhile to get used to interacting with a person on the computer screen but worked okay and it eliminated a longer wait. Breakfast options were very limited. Wifi, refrigerator and microwave were good.
- 4/5
Clean, easy parking
- 5/5
The room was immaculate, the bedding was beautiful.
- 4/5
Check in is with a kiosk with a person working remotely. I was unfamiliar with this process and had it not been for a sympathetic housekeeper I would have stood at the desk for longer. There were young folks being loud in the hallway but who are you going to report them to? The kiosk?
- 2/5
Zero on site help zero customer service The room was clean and spacious… But I don’t understand when hotels were allowed to vacate staff and let customers check themselves in and out and seek out answers to questions about the room
- 3/5
It's ok for the price. Bunch of fast food nearby.
- 4/5
But really disliked the virtual desk clerk. I had difficulty understanding person on video, and he in turn me. Check in was a frustrating experience. Had occasion for another virtual interaction - again frustrating. Were it not for this I would feel no hesitation in another stay.
- 5/5
Very disappointing. If I was staying longer than a day would have asked for service. But overall, all was great.
- 3/5
Liked that dogs are allowed and the size and cleanliness of the room with nice bed and upgraded decor. The room did not have cups for drinking coffee or water. The free breakfast was very limited with just toast, butter, jelly plus 2 kinds of Cheerios and milk. No fruit or other offerings. Budget friendly and fine for just an overnight stay for long drives.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 2/5
Noisy at night and the breakfast was a joke
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
Great all around experience at a great price!
- 5/5
Breakfast not great
- 4/5
This is the second time staying here. We liked the convienence of the hotel to the freeway and dinner next door. The room was quiet and clean. Just wish the breakfast had more options, yougurt, fruits, and breads.
- 5/5
Convenient, clean and decent.
- 2/5
It was weird. While I appreciate the kind and courteous person on the screen greeting me when arrived, they were still on a screen. Not a person in sight except for the screen image. I will not stay there again. It was too sci-fi and just plain felt weird.
- 2/5
Check in procedure was unusual but managed to check in successfully, overall condition of the property is fair, staff, friendly enough, but not very good. Continental breakfast was advised that they were discontinuing altogether so coffee was not even palatable other than that not much else to choose from.
- 2/5
I’m assuming old people live there because we were getting told we were to loud right before noise curfew (10pm) on a Friday night. And someone called the cops on my kids in the pool stating that there were people yelling and fighting. The reason I picked this hotel was the location and the amenities. The room didn’t have the amenities that I paid for. Bad experience.
- 4/5
-The room itself was very nice and clean. It was nice to have the complimentary soaps, shampoo, and moisturizer. -It was nice to have a station to fill up water bottles with ice and water. The breakfast included was very limited to toast and cereal. I would have liked to at least have packaged muffins, yogurt or fruit. -Checking in/out was simple for us booking through Expedia, but the hotel did not have someone in person at the lobby desk. We had to wait about 20 min to check in while the zoom attendant assisted the person in front of us and required the help of the cleaning staff who was in person to complete their check in process. Not a fan of the virtual assistant instead of in person service.
- 5/5
Easy and accessable
- 3/5
We didn't care for the lack of staff or the virtual check in. Towels were small and very thin. Beds were horrible.
- 4/5
Very basic for a hundred bucks, but clean and solf pillows! We'd never used a kiosk check in, so that was kind of weird seeing the person on a screen instead of in person, I didn’t care for that. They were two fast food restaurants in the same parking lot, but we drove into the main town and found lots of choices. It felt safe, but again VERY basic.
- 5/5
The only downside was no elevator
- 5/5
Basic, but nice. Beds were comfortable and the room clean.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
While watching TV in the evening, we kept getting a screen that said "Programming Not Authorized." This message would stay on the screen for ten seconds or more, and then go back to the selected chanel program. This happened on all channels that we tried to watch. My wife counted the interruptions, and stopped counting at 25! I reported the problem to the front desk, but they had no idea how to fix.
- 5/5
Very nice, quiet, great for sleeping.
- 4/5
Other then that the room was very comfortable: very good bed & pillows, quiet, plenty of space decent breakfast with good coffee, tea, cereal, almond mill, fruit. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Miguel was Very helpful and respectful
- 3/5
Very odd zoom check-in and outside of hotel pretty low rent looking. But the rooms themselves were nicely remodeled and clean. Bed was hard as a rock but if you like that, this is a great bargain
- 2/5
It would be nice to have a desk person to talk to, not someone on a monitor.
- 4/5
Staff helpful. ‘Atbe not in a great Neighborhood.
- 5/5
Within walking distance to Black Bear Diner and Mc Donald’s.
- 4/5
Check in was strange with a remote person in a kiosk but it worked and was easy to navigate. The property is t fancy but served our needs. One negative comment - it’s a 3 story hotel with NO ELEVATOR.
- 5/5
Kiosk at check in no service at all but I would totally stay again.
- 4/5
Good but not perfect. Clean comfortable great bathroom good bed. No clock no table.
- 4/5
We were passing through and stayed for one night, the stay was ok. We paid an extra $25 for the dog. The room was clean. Convenient parking near the entrance.
- 4/5
My go to place to stay in woodland when catching a flight out the next day
- 1/5
First of all the pool was broken. Then there is like no staff. Theyre all portal. I asked for extra blankets & never recieved any. Didnt offer very much for breakfast. Cereal bread & apples. Coffee & oj. Only physical staff i saw around were the cleaners. It was really weird. People above us were so loud. Never again with this place.
- 5/5
Great location, just a short trip from downtown Woodland, which features plenty of great spots to dine and unwind.
- 1/5
Awful customer service
- 4/5
Person checking us in was a kiosk machine and the guy was real but in Columbia South America he was fine but the speaker on the kiosk not very clear and hard to understand. We were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator but the guy in Columbia said they down the hall on the right Little disappointing have a bad knee
- 5/5
Served its purpose. Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Impersonal check in via kiosk. Room overall nice, but TV channel controls not working. Coffeemaker not cleaned out and overfull of water.

I needed a ground floor room because I am disabled but they could not accommodate me. There are NO elevators in the building so my husband had to help me walk up the stairs! No front desk personnel so you talk into a kiosk and it’s impossible to understand the person speaking.

It’s ok for the price

Ok hotel for the price , a light breakfast (toast, cereal , coffee) is included. However, the hotel is close to other restaurants and fast food places.

Easy checkin, clean & comfortable room. Quick access to freeway.

Great value and very comfortable rooms.

Convenient and affordable, but noisy

The staff was excellent; however, I hated using the kiosk to speak with the front desk. Our world one day will become no human interaction. My room was on the side of the main street so in the morning it was really loud. But other than that, no issues. Thank you

Tip top as always

Days Inn used to be a higher standard of a hotel. Not this one. Poor "breakfast" availability, uncomfortable beds, pool is an oversized tub and was closed for 'winter' yet other hotels around were open. My mistake choosing to go here, not one I would make again.
