Very nice staff The only problem we have ever had at this hotel was this time. Their accounting system made multiple charges on our cards which were not authorized. It has taken over a week to get the charges cancelled. The staff cannot correct this type of problem manually, it has to go thru their system. It was frustrating and tied up a considerable sum of our money for many days.

All of the staff was so helpful amazing and welcoming. We stayed mothers day weekend and all the ladies were given flowers by the front desk associates. The rooms and entire hotel were kept very clean. My family and I enjoyed the working out together in the gym as well.

We like the simple breakfast, very informal but well maintained. Very friendly staff. Our small apartment was adequately equipped. We appreciate having a full size refrigerator. Our room was very quiet. Nothing.

Clean, facility offered a lot of amenities, also convenient to so many restaurants, the mall, and other big named stores. If one didn’t have a car, one could easily walk anywhere. Pet friendly!

HOWEVER on 2 separate occasions for our room and my in-laws whose rooms we booked - We were told that because we booked through Expedia "a third party" that our rooms may be cancelled or our check-in may be delayed "for regular" guests to complete their check-in. In the end we had wonderful stay and were treated well but this threat of losing our reservation because we booked with Expedia was unnerving and disappointing.

Minute, needed a pet friendly hotel and the price was kind of high but I was tired. I had stayed for long times at townplace suites before. This time I got charged some crazy pet fee, I’m pretty sure it was like 150.00 and at that point I had no choice but to stay there. Good. Very comfortable. Accommodating staff. Good location. Near major restaurants and shopping. We were there to save on staying in DC. Traffic is heavy getting in and out of DC so it’s a 45-60 minute commute.

Everything was amazing 👏. The crew was very nice and friendly. We also loved the breakfast. They have a large number of spots on the parking. The pool was cold unfortunately and there was a old sock in my room. The elevator was a little bit sticky.

I've worked in hotels before, so I know how the check-in process should go... the person who checked me in was not friendly and did not give me any information about my stay. I never ate the breakfast because it was so generic and unappealing. I wouldn't stay here again - it wasn't worth the price I paid.

It was not the best experience. The young lady who checked me in didn't greet me at all. She asked for my name only. Then asked me to insert my credit card. When I got checked into my room, I saw the notification of how much I'd been charged. I was very upset because I had booked through a third party and was still charged the full rate at the hotel as well. If the front desk worker had stated what the total was, I would've been able to correct her mistake before she charged my card. I travel A LOT and typically the person at the front desk will say something like, "we need put a temporary hold on your card in the amount of $50 (or whatever it is) for incidentals". She didn't say any of that. Asked my name, said insert your card, and here you go (as she handed me the keycard...didn't even tell me the room number or where to find the elevator!) I was very disappointed with the service AND won't be getting my refund of $180 for 7-10 business days for a mistake made by the property. What if I was depending on that money during my travels? As a Marriott Rewards member, I was thoroughly disappointed 😞

We enjoyed our stay at TownePlace Suites in Woodbridge. It is super convenient to where we planned to go. The staff is friendly. (Thank you, Walter.) And in spite of a room error, the staff were sorry and very attentive in correcting that. We felt welcomed, and liked our room (especially the big 'frig)!

We'll be sure to stay here when we're in the area again.

The place was perfect for our stop in with our 2 dogs. Everything was great other than the shower was full of hair. Very obvious that it was not cleaned.

My reservation was booked and paid for 39 days in advance on hotel.com. When I checked into the hotel, I was told I would be charged approximately $20 a day for incidentals. After swiping my card, I received an alert stating my card was charged/authorized $440 (which is close to the amount I paid in full at hotel.com) to the hotel. I spoke with Alicia (supervisor) and she kept talking over me telling me to contact my bank. This was a HOTEL error not a bank error. She assured me it would be corrected at check out (4 days later). Well, I have checked out and the $440 authorization is still sitting on my card 6 days later. Beware folks. The customer service is horrible. Instead of admitting the mistake, they told me to wait for it to fix itself after checkout. Also the front desk person had an attitude and acted like we were inconveniencing him by asking for towels. This is our second stay at this hotel. First trip was great and after this experience, we will never return.

I booked the suite for family who were in town. They arrived to the hotel after midnight to be told they didn’t have a reservation. They called me to let me know, because I reserved and paid for the room. Once I was on the phone, management then stated there was a room but it was it clean. The option given to then was to stay in a studio instead of the one bedroom suite I paid for. Horrible service.
