I have stayed here before and the room was clean and I felt comfortable. Parking was great and I felt safe . There was A Bug this time however it was only 1 the room felt clean . When I was leaving the staff at front desk looked horrified when I shared . He said he would address it right away. Everything else was fine I recommend !!!!

Clean room and a nice size, staff was friendly and helpful. The price was very budget friendly! Especially for persons or families on the road! Parking is onsite and easy.

location Our door to our room would not lock. We notified the front desk and asked for a different room which they said wasn't available. Maintenance said they would replace the lock, but never did. Bed was horrible. Could not sleep hardly at all. Entire hotel smelled bad. Other guests were very noisy thru the night.

This stay was so much better. Housekeeping was in every day. The carpets in the hallway were vacuumed. I’m impressed with the changes.

My room was never cleaned while I was there. I got a clean set of towels on night 5. I asked the day staff for help. He had been sleeping and didn’t care. The new carpet is nice but isn’t being vacuum. Flossers lay in the hallway all week. If you want your trash taken you put it in the hallway because they don’t clean the rooms daily.

The location of this hotel is great! Across from the Potomac Mills Mall, around the corner from Sams Club, plenty of restaurants, movies and 10 minutes from Stonebridge. Overall great rest, an older hotel but well maintained, needs a little sprucing up in some areas but overall budget friendly and they serve breakfast.

We had an emergency (sick child on the drive from Pa to Florida and needed a place to clean up and get her in bed for the night instead of driving straight through). It was after midnight, most hotels wouldn't let us check in as the new day started. However, the night staff immediately jumped in to help us get a room. Room was clean, staff was great.

The front desk clerk would not let me check in early. The check in time on the website stated one time and the clerk pointed to a sign and told me to come back at the time on the sign no earlier.

Add a late arrival and booked the wrong date a week ahead. The staff worked with hotels.com to get me in that night. Great service and excellent room.

Parking was interesting, on a hill, so unique. Construction was being done at the facility, which was dusty. Noise was restricted to daylight hours, so that was ok. Rooms were clean and had pleasant smells. The breakfast was somewhat cold if you did not go first thing. Selection was good. Hard time opening the doors to rooms, had to switch room due to faulty fridge and the doors on both were a challenge. They appear to be older key models. Any questions or issues were handled right away by the staff. Stay was pleasant, noise was low and would stay again.

Walking into the lobby was okay, the staff okay and she apologized for our room. Where do I start… I wish I would have taken photos… walking into the hotel, smelled like marijuana. I don’t care what people do, but please not near the hotel doors or in the hotel. Once we checked in and got to our room, the carpet had a big patch in the middle of the floor, like they were trying to fix or cover up. Also, it looked so dirty we didn’t want to take our shoes off. There was a white powder substance on the floor. The beds looked okay at first when we saw them until we noticed white crusty substance on the bed skirts… Some of the drawers were broken, so we didn’t even bother touching them. The shower didn’t look clean and the security lock to our door didn’t work properly. If someone wanted to get in our room, they could easily break in. We decided on not staying there after 15-20 minutes after seeing the room. We didn’t feel safe staying and after seeing how gross the room looked we decided to leave and check out. The lady apologized, said they were fully booked and it was the only room they had left (the parking lot was not full). I didn’t even ask for a different room, I just simply said “sorry we are leaving and we are not staying here” we handed our key cards to the lady at the front desk and we left. I didn’t ask for a refund and we probably should have but we just didn’t feel safe and we just wanted to leave ASAP. I wish I would’ve taken photos so you could see what we saw…. Lesson learned.

Check in was easy. We had to leave before breakfast opened (at 6:30am). Only one bed had open outlets next to it, but on the opposite side of the night stand. The outlets for the other bed were being used by the lamp and alarm clock. In order to plug in my CPAP, I had to unplug something. It would have been much more convenient to have a lamp with plugs in it, or a power strip. In the morning, the shower was cold. Woke me up after the time change, but I would've preferred a warmer shower.

The location proximity to shopping was perfect! Strong smell of Marijuana all the way down the hall. Some of the people staying there were a little shady.

In the bathroom, the shower door did not latch properly, causing water to spill onto the floor. The shower stall itself needs a deep cleaning, as it appeared neglected. Overall, the hotel would greatly benefit from renovations and modern upgrades to improve the guest experience.

Check in was easy. Convenient to access second floor with stairway to upper floor in lobby. Close to shopping but you still need a car to get there. Rooms are modern. However cleanliness is off. Black curtain was dirty, "antibacterial" remote had ketchup on it, light switch plate in bathroom has smudges. One of my towels had a hair on it, but I was able to get more from the front desk quickly. Wifi is not work at all. I had to use the wifi from the TownePlace suites next door. Breakfast was lackluster but that's to be expected. Despite these issues, the value was good and I slept well. I can't say that I stay here again, but I must confess this would be the best option in the area if you need a place to sleep.

Check in was great! She was friendly and professional. There are three things that we were unhappy about! First, right outside our first floor handicap room was a bench where people were talking off and on ALL night long(smoking area). We had driven all day and were tired but they were loud! Second, we killed two bugs (looked like roaches) in our room. This also kept my wife awake! Third, the TV and remote were old and not working very good (need replacing maybe?). I did not take pics but now that I know you want pics, I will take them.

Three good things about this hotel was free parking with plenty of spots, friendly staff, and safe area. The room itself was the reason why I gave it three stars. The first room we received the carpet was wet and visibly dirty and the room smelled like mold and mildew. The second room we received had better looking carpet and wasn’t wet, but it still smelled like mold and mildew. Later in the night we found multiple surfaces with mold growing on it. The bathroom and bedding were clean though.

It was the worst I had in my life. We didn't have a working phone. We were told to bring cash for incidental and most crazy one. We were blame for a burn on the tables when we don't drink coffee. They took 60.00 out of our refund. We were told to get out and we were not allow to come back.

The lobby is very deceiving. It makes it look like the facility is a good place. I actually went and scoped the place out before I made the reservation. I wish I had gone beyond the lobby. The carpets look like they are from a car repair shop, straight up filthy. The bathroom door was off the track and not functioning and it had a ten inch oblong hole right through it in the first room we were given. The second room's AC sounded like a mack truck while it was running. The beds were so uncomfortable, I swear they were from the Flinstone's era and made out of bedrock! The shower pan was cracked, stained, and dirty. The interactions I had with the staff were pleasant. The parking was more than adequate. I know we live in the age of cannabis everywhere, but the smell of it at this facility was downright overwhelming. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The first room I was given had roaches, it was on the first floor. The second room on the second floor looked clean but had the smell of cigarettes.

Staff was not acting prophetically

The man at the front desk mumbled so bad you could not unferstsnd a single word he said and we do not have a hearing loss whatsoever. Other guests said the same thing. The keys did not work so had to return to the front desk was only given one key instead of two. Opened the door and it was 60 degrees inside and absolutely freezing. The bed size was not the size we reserved. The hsll and stairs were absolutely disgusting with wear and stains. The room itself was fine for the money spent and the bed was comfortable. We haven’t had breakfast yet.

The stay was good and value was very good for an overnight stay on our way up North! The room and bed were comfortable. The shower was great as far as working conditions but the walls could be cleaned. The floor of the room had some crumbs when we moved in. We will stay there again for same purpose. Felt safe and the hotel was quiet.

The rooms were old and the carpets not very clean. I suggest the rooms need remodelling and upgrading. Having a sliding door to a bathroom with a separate wash hand basin in the room is not a good idea. I would not rate it very high as a result. However the bed was good and the linen clean.

We were staying in the area for just one night and opted for the budget option. I’m glad it was only one night here… upon entering the room it smelled really musty and damp. We found mold on the ceiling and vents. The floor also had very suspicious looking stains that looked to be bodily fluids or solids… The sheets and linens were clean though, so at least we were able to sleep in spite of the extremely firm mattress. There also seemed to be some shady characters hanging out in the parking lot. I wouldn’t stay here again to say the least.

It was my first time staying at this hotel, and for the price we paid I thought, the room seemed unclean, bed was small and uncomfortable…

The employee that worked the breakfast area was hard working and lovely. She had to take care of a difficult situation a patron caused and she did really well. It was conveniently located near some shopping areas and to the family we were visiting.

The hotel staff was great. The room AC was not on so we walked into a room that was 82 degrees and musty. The carpet is a bit old but clean. The only thing I would say is that the bed is really firm. Overall clean, tidy and worth the cost.

Dislikes: carpet in the whole building was disgustingly dirty, room door stuck, had to use my hip or shoulder to open it, the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall, the air conditioner sounded like a freight train. Thankfully, maintenance was able to fix it, so we didn't have to change rooms. Veneer on the desk was loose, clothing got caught on it.

It was decent... noticed the rooms smoke detector was missing and immediately notified the front desk. They stated they would take care of it and no one did for our entire stay. Also, the inside door handle came off and again notified staff and they stated they would have it fixed... it never got looked at... I had to temporarily fix it for our stay. Overall, we felt okay b/c we were on a trip that was very active outside the hotel... but this felt more like a motel. It seemed clean and was cool... but that's why it was more affordable. You sometimes get what you pay for. Don't know if I would return to this hotel. Staff were okay... none of the house keeping staff spoke English that we came across so that created a language issues when just asking for extra towels or trying to explain our late checkout status we asked for... seems like a lack of communication with staff. Some of the front desk stafd would disappear and they seemed to have attitudes. Some were nice but ineffective with getting our room issues resolved.

I did like the room it was very clean and liked the bigger refrigerator. Many dining options close by. The only thing that could be improved was the options at breakfast. Nio fruit, oatmeal or milk available. Very limited with just eggs, sausage and carbs galore. The peanut butter were individual wrapped and they were mostly hard and hard to spread on the bagel or toast

Cleanliness could've been better.

Issue - this was on first floor, so anyone smoking outside, it brings that air in immediately. For example, there was someone who was smoking when I got there in the evening and they were smoking when I left in the morning. The unit would bring that air inside and then there was someone smoking weed outside --which also stank up the place. I had to change the settings on AC to fix. so be careful there on 1st floor. Bathroom door was broke and would never close. Bathroom did not have anything other than a shampoo and soap bar. No other things were provided. Breakfast was good.

Everything about my visit was excellent ...extremely clean room and common areas, friendly and attentive staff, and an unexpected hot breakfast. The bedding was perfect and very comfortable. Safety is always a concern when traveling alone, but the parking area was brightly lit, although a little trashy (being near a shopping area was partly to blame). I would stay here again.

The hotel could use some updates for sure. The water pressure was very weak. The rain probably puts more pressure than this shower. The mattress was rather uncomfortable and very worn. The shower stall was so dirty I put a towel down inside of the shower because I didnt want to stand in that shower pan. Carpet was dark but you can clearly see the dirt in the floors. All of the doors arent flush so theres this huge gap of light coming through and didnt feel safe.

The double bed room, though small, was functional. The Sleep Inn is showing it's age. LCD tvs appear to be more 15-18 yrs. old. Room carpet old. Morning breakfast is was low quality. No bacon, no biscuits or hot gravy, basic cereal and what appeared to be artificial eggs. And a cramped serving area, where people constantly waiting for someone to move. Worse, a man took a cell phone call right in front of the hot food section, talking nonchalant while people waiting behind were fuming. There is a reason the room rates are lower for this hotel. If you want to sleep fine, don't expect a spiffy hotel.

Had to wait long time for a front desk person to show up and get checked-in, too noisy, people hanging out in front of hotel drinking. People in and out of rooms ALL night long. Especially when someone would be by windows and whistle as a signal. Horrible place!

Great location and convenience! We stayed for one night and loved how close the hotel was to shopping centers, grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants. It was also just a 40-minute drive to D.C., making it a great spot for a quick trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The room was clean & spacious. Unfortunately they had no toilet paper in the room. Staff was pretty friendly.

I hated everything about my stay, from the beginning to end. The time I checked in, during and check out time. Not very nice people that work here including the manager i deserve my money back for this awful nightmare

I like the check in and out process was quick and painless. I will def stay here again.

You get what you paid for. Small, room with horribly uncomfortable bed.
