I booked a stay at Quality Inn Woodbridge, VA from May 24–28, 2026, but was forced to check out after just one night due to extremely unacceptable conditions. During our stay, we saw both mice and roaches in the room. I personally saw a mouse with my own eyes, which made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable. As a result, I was unable to sleep and decided that my family and I could not remain at the property. After checking out, I contacted customer service and was on a call with Jahnav from Quality Inn and a representative from Booking.com. The Booking.com representative was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous throughout the process. During the call, I was initially informed that I would receive a refund for the remaining three nights of my reservation. However, when the Booking.com representative requested written confirmation via email or chat, we were placed on hold for a few minutes. When the call resumed, Jahnav reversed the previous statement and claimed that a refund could not be issued because their system did not show that I had checked out. This explanation is simply not accurate. I checked out after the first night and immediately booked another hotel through Booking.com for May 25–28, 2026. It is impossible for me to have stayed at two hotels at the same time. I was also told that the property does not have mice, despite the fact that I personally saw one in the room. The condition of the hotel and the handling of the refund request were both extremely disappointing. I expect a clean, safe environment when booking a hotel, and this property failed to provide that. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

Arrived there outside was dirty and very run down looking but we were tired from driving all day so thought well maybe the inside wouldn’t be so bad. I booked the hotel online and went in to check in and as soon as I walked up to the doors the stench of weed was incredibly overwhelming. I went inside to look around before actually checking in and decided this was not the place for us to stay. If your a smoker or someone travelling on there own who doesn’t care about that stuff I’m sure this place would suit you just fine however for me and my husband and our small children this was not the place for us. I talked to the guy at the counter and he was nice enough to give us refund which was great. As far as the rest of the hotel goes though I’d find somewhere else like we did.

I'm not sure what I expected since it was a last min booking but definitely fell far short of ok. Parking lot was a nice size before the big rigs that just stopped in the middle and took over the lot. Room was painted in the last few years but needs a refresh cause the walls and ceilings were peeling. Our beds baseboard looked like it was recently in a flood. I'm not sure who decided the torn furniture was ok, but its not. Carpets need to be replaced or a very serious steam cleaning. There was a hole in the wall that looked concerning, would another room look any better, most likely not. Breakfast attendant chatted with some people for about 45 mins ignoring the food and everyone else so we got prepackaged goods and left to go eat.

Shower did not work properly and sometimes no water came out when I turned it on, but sometimes it did flow out--had to keep moving it back and forth to make it work. Toilet seat was up, which should have been a red flag. Didn't notice until after I showered that there was poop under the seat and when I lowered the seat, there was urine and hair on the seat itself. Manager was not concerned when I called and asked him to verify the room had been cleaned. He assured me it was, but after I slept in the bed, I realized the cleaning crew should have seen that the sink didn't drain and the shower didn't work--so I'm hoping my sheets were clean. This room was right next to the front desk, so I wonder if the staff may have been using it as a restroom or something. Location is very convenient, right off the highway

I didn't like that I could smell cigarette everywhere in the hotel. In my room and in the hallway. The hall carpet is pretty nasty. But the room was clean and room service was good.

I give it a 4 because my room was clean. If you judged the place from the outside, and the hallways, you’d pass but the room was very clean and served my purpose.

So for starters I reserved the room for 9 days. Paid for all 9 days at check in. 8 days in a get a call stating I did not pay for the past 2 nights and my room keys are disabled. I let them know I have receipts and it was in facts paid. They called me back to say they were sorry. After that they called again and stated i had to pay a pet fee but my pet was not even there. The day before that I complained to the front desk because the housekeeper STOLE my prescription from my room and then all of that happened. Save your money

Parking felt safe. The food is very average (eggs, sausage, waffles, apples, coffee) but the staff is very friendly and polite.

Location & breakfast Hall rug was filthy. The room floor was dirty & my clean white Sox ended up black on the bottoms. We had 2 small Yorkies & had a room at the end of the hall across from an Exterior door with no latch or security. Dog area was tiny, grass overgrown with trash & cigarette butts.

AVOID THE QUALITY INN AT ALL COSTS! My weekend stay at this filthy so-called hotel was an absolute nightmare. Dust covered everything, and I encountered rat droppings in my room. How is that even acceptable? The shower was completely dysfunctional, and the tub didn't even have a stopper—what a joke! The sheets were never changed during my stay, making for a truly repulsive experience. The floors were disgusting, and to top it off, the microwave was corroded inside. The breakfast offerings included outdated muffins and rotten apples; it was clear no one cared about hygiene. And don't even get me started on the staff—they were downright rude and unhelpful. As soon as I drove into the parking lot, I was met with a putrid smell that made me question my life choices. The outside of the hotel was just as neglected as the inside. I was promised a refund due to the horrendous conditions, and surprise—I'm still waiting for it! This place is infested with rats and roaches and should be shut down immediately. I will make sure to warn everyone I know about the terrible experience I had at the Quality Inn. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else! Nothing

Parking lot had groups of people gathering and what appeared to be drug deals going on, made us as a family a little uncomfortable but then the doors would not close and lock which became a major safety concern. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly but not very helpful. This experience was so terrible we just canceled/checked out and went to a different hotel, was immensely disappointed and very confused about all these positive reviews. When we checked into the other hotel the clerk mentioned they had stayed there when they first moved to town and suffered from bed bugs and also had to check out early.

The hotel was not in an area where there were a lot of shopping or restaurants nearby. There were a few, but it was not in a metropolitan area - which was fine for us. We were going to visit friends nearby and then to Washington DC for a visit. The outdoor pool was closed, unfortunately. Breakfast was just okay. Processed eggs were fine, if you aren't picky. There was a DIY waffle maker. There were two sets of washer/dryers. Two ice machines and a couple vending machines located in a separate room away from hallway traffic. Parking was plentiful but not secured. Housekeeping was very accommodating to our request for additional coffee pods for our room. Linens and towels were good condition, cleanliness and quality.

Was called while on my way to say they gave our room away to a corporate event. No resolution was given, no apology, just a call to let us know we didn't have a room although paid for and booked months ago. I had to ask for a different class room. Went from 2 doubles to 1 queen. When arrived, they had a room with 2 doubles so unsure what the stress was about. Just annoyed that there was no empathy

The property was very neat and I could tell newly renovated, and the most inviting was front desk person Hassan he was professional and made me feel very welcome and safe. The only setback was there was a small odor in the non-smoking room on the first floor I believe it may have been coming from a plumbing problem as I did see mildew stains on the ceiling, but other than that the property was very clean and quiet, great parking and a great staff at the front desk!

Hotel was very noisy, room was very dated and somewhat unclean and breakfast was poor.

The bathroom was moldy and water was dripping from the ceiling from the room above ours. They were unable to give us a new room because we had been in 'possession' of the room during the day. We had arrived in the evening the prior night after driving hours went to the bathroom and immediately to bed. We did not inspect the room at that time. Lesson learned. There were no Maintenace people available and they would not get me in contact with a manager to speak with them regarding a refund for the room. I have both videos and photos. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Booked this stay last minute when I had a migraine on a road trip. Picked the lowest price hotel on the way home and this was it. Turned out it was 20 dollars less than even what the map said. Cheapest hotel I’ve ever booked and I’ve stayed in wayyyy worse hotels. Employees were nice and room was clean and felt like a steal. Only problem was that the vending machine didn’t have any water bottles so I had to get some elsewhere. Other than that it was perfect.

The room was ok, except the floors were dirty. Breakfast was good. But since we had dogs, we stayed on the end by the pet area. There are rats all over the dumpster next to the pet area. They weren’t inside, thank goodness, but who knows when it gets colder out.

My stay was good thanks to the service my daughter and I received. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The was an odor to the rooms, which was hard to get over. We changed rooms twice because of the smell. I did not like that there was a big gap between the floor and the door. I stuffed the gap with towels during the stay.

Check in was slow, ac was not working in room, was told to unplug and then plug up again, did not work, after 20 min had to be moved to another room. In new room phone did not work, tub was moldy, shower head was rusty, hair dryer was dirty, lamp was dented and broken

The stay was good for a short notice trip. The hotel was nice and pretty much kept clean. The room was nice. First floor and the breakfast was good. Hotel need a little upgrade but still nice to stay in.

Very positive experience. Especially the proper breakfast was a big plus for my stay as there was no need to stop after leaving.

Arrival and checkin were fine, but the problems were with the room. Our shower was absolutely coated in black mold and pink shower grime. We checked in very late and were exhausted from the trip so we cleaned it ourselves, but we felt this was unacceptable. The walls were very thin and the A/C had unit in our room barely worked…it made noise but did not cool the room at all. Overall a very poor experience. I would not stay here again.

The shower didn’t work I couldn’t take a shower and When I tried to call the front desk the didn’t even ring. How is a shower in a hotel is not working it doesn’t make any sense, people book hotel to rest and take shower but mine didn’t work at all.

Place smelt like weed and housekeepers skipped my room despite me not being in the room. Toilet got backed up and while in the bathroom you could hear the shower from next door and I also did smell like sewage.

The rooms were small and outdated. Our TV did not have any signal and the hotel staff could not fix it. So, we had no working tv during our stay. We had a sporting event to attend the next am. I asked the staff at the breakfast buffet if they could fill the pitcher of water at the breakfast buffet if we topped our two son's water bottles off (their water bottles were already 4/5ths full of ice and water). The lady at the breakfast buffet was rude about this as I guess it was an inconvenience to her to add more water. Which, we barley took any of the wtaer, so she didn't even need to add water to the pitcher at the buffet anyways. The staff at the front desk were kind and professional. We travel often. I am surprised at the price of this room considering how small and outdated it was. We do not recommend this hotel.

I was driving from VT to take the autotrain. It was a 10 hour drive and I just needed a place to sleep for the night. Between the yelling, noise, and sirens, that did not happen. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else! The room was filthy, stains on the floor, on the walls, in the bathroom, even on the remote for the tv. There was an awful smell in the hallways. The carpet on the stairs and in the hallways had debris everywhere...crumbs, paper, ashes. There was an altercation in the hallway by my door, I tried to call to the front desk, but the phone did not work. There was constant yelling outside all night. I made a mistake staying here, don't make the same mistake I made!!

Cheap hotel, clean, but other guests are very loud. Dogs barking all night. Slamming doors. Don’t recommend if you actually plan to get any sleep, have a dog yourself, or children.

Right off the bat, they allowed early check in which was a big plus Once in the room tv did not respond. Turns out that it had been unplugged. Easy fix. The refrigerator condenser was pretty loud at times, but not unbearable Overall, not a bad stay for the price.

The cleaner was very kind. There were roaches in the room though and when I mentioned it to the front desk she just said “oh, sorry about that.” It was cheaper than other hotel options but only by a small amount and I wouldn’t call it cheap.

Not the worst hotel I have been to, but you do get what you pay for.. I did find one bug while I was staying here for 2 nights. The room was a good size, but could use a new coat of paint as there were scuffs along the walls. There is a safe in the room, which was nice. Bathroom was fine, no issues. The breakfast was good, albeit smaller selection, but decent enough. For the most part, it was quiet; Occasionally there were noises we could hear from outside, so the walls are thin, but it never became a bother. Dogs are welcome, just be aware of the fees they charge you!! I was quoted around $200 for my stay and when I got there is went to over $300, but signage in the lobby says $25-50 for a pet... Due to the ridiculous charge for pets, I would probably not stay here again unless I had to.

The mattress was very firm, which I love. Sadly the pillows need to be replaced.

Bathroom door was out of square so you has to lift up on the handle to get the door to close. This was caused by top hing screws being pulled out of the door frame.

Very smooth check in and check out with friendly staff. Spacious and clean room, with a tall mini fridge convenient for my own food. Complimentary breakfast and coffee! Housekeeping did an amazing job making sure I had everything I needed. Great value for the expense.

The whole hotel needs to be refurbished. We stayed in room 119. I killed two large brown bugs on the floor. There were several ants in the bathroom area and there were other dead bugs in the corners of the room along the baseboard. If that wasn’t bad enough, I also killed a large brown bug in my bed!

I had a first floor room and my window was broken so I put some stuff near the window so if somebody opens it I can hear them and my personal belongings will fall. The mattress had stains all over it very disgusting. Didnt sleep much so I can leave first thing in the morning

I checked in late bby 7:00pm I would appreciate to check out late but I was not given that offer at 11:00am my room door was knocked waking us up we had to rush to shower and left.

Check in was okay they wanted a deposit after paying in full which was weird then we get into room 2nd floor no elevator upon checking into room the shower was digusting hair and soap scum on walls and tub itself and showerhead full of mold!!! I had to clean the shower before using it and the ac wasnt even working just blew hot outside air on ac mode it was late and i have kids and didnt want to change rooms that late when i informed them they literally said ill the the manager know !!! No help at all hotels.com gave me some compensation greatly appreciated to that but thats so wrong how they rent rooms like that bed was comfty thats it

What I didn't like there was a dealership across the parking lot it was too much noise but that didn't stop me enjoy the place I enjoyed everything I paid for I recommend everyone to go to that property very nice and well prepared

Nice staff and fine location. But some of the rooms are in better shape than others. We spent one night in one room that was OK. A few days later we spent the night in another room that was not OK. Overall musty smell in the rooms along with things not working.

We had to change our room 2 times! The AC was leaking in the first room when we entered it and there was a puddle on the floor. In the second room, my wife found roaches as she walked in! We informed the front desk person and he said they are aware of roach infestation in some of the rooms! And the pest control has been informed!?! He switched our room. The room we stayed at did not have conditioner, the towels were dirty, so we asked for two new clean towels. The breakfast was really cheap food. The carpet in the hall way, the front entrance door, the couch in the room were so dirty that we touched them with paper napkins! The door of our room had marks of broken lock. Bathtub had hair in it. Where do I stop? Definitely not worth $90 a night, and that too on a week night. Do not recommend anyone staying there ever!
