Staff, the kindness and caring we had just arrived from being on the road wet and tired we rode the auto train from Florida to Lorton Virginia rough night but we were late getting away from the train station it was raining thankfully the hotel was just a half hour away but we got soaked. Tired wet hungry from riding in on a motorcycle, staff did everything they could to accommodate us till check in they offered the laundry room they let us park under the overhang off to the side, offered coffee ECT. We got a bite to eat got back and our room was ready can't thank them enough for the amazing and wonderful customer service and him going the extra mile to do everything he could to help. We will be back to visit, not sure of his name it was an absolute wonderful black gentleman that checked us in on May 22,2026 about 3:00pm can't thank him enough for his warm hospitality. ❤️ No complaints, the staff, hotel spot on.

Only thing was barking dogs from kettle behind property was heard but not to the point that I wouldn't effect my staying there. Everything else was great.

The water was shut off to my room without notice. When I asked the front desk clerk, the maintenance worker was there and gave a dismissive answer when I asked when it would be restored. Overall the front desk clerk (Mike) and maintenance person were dismissive, if not curt about the incident. When the water was finally turned back on there was quite a bit of water - hammer causing debris to come from the faucett.

The hotel was very nice. The lobby was clean and bright. The room was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast in the morning was also nice considering we were up and early both days we stayed there. We would definitely stay again.

I love this hotel. It seems like every time I book a room I get presidential treatment. Rooms are always clean, breakfast is always tasty, customer service is amazing. The one time I had a problem with the room was a crack in the TV and it must’ve happened with the guest before me and they solve the problem with no problem. Move me to another room and accommodated me with an extra hour before checking out. I will recommend this hotel to any and everybody.

The location, the staff friendliness. They also provided good complimentary breakfast. Room was spacious. Cleanliness can be improved. The toilet bowl had some urine stains at the base. Sofa also had some stains on it.

We had to have our room cleaned twice when we got there because there was hair all over the beds, on the sheets, pillows and top of the bed. No compensation was offered at all. After driving for 7 hours, tired and just wanted to get settled…we had to wait another hour just to get the room cleaned. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The breakfast was good. There’s a nice variety of breakfast options available. The breads were fresh. The apples and oranges were nice looking and sweet. Hot and cold cereals were on the table. Hard boiled eggs and yogurt in the frig. It was a good meal!

The property is not kid friendly. The morning staff is very rude and would blame you on hearsay if you have kids under 10. Why pay extra for breakfast when you don't get it, why pay for pool when its too cold to get in, sure they heated it after we started swimming but then its already 10 pm.

This hotel is my go to when I’m am in town. My other favorite was sold out and this is my second favorite. I enjoy this place, I don’t enjoy the rude manger who is not patient and pretty much by force kicked me out and did not return my incidental fee because I wasn’t ready to leave at 11am check out with my toddler. I came back for a second visit and I had a terrible check in experience, I will be back for a third visit soon in the next six month and I hope this experience tops the last two. I do enjoy the convenience of this location so I’ll be back and on guard

The staff here are always wonderful! Diamond was a great help and super friendly. The shower could use some updating, new shower head and better shower curtain. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the room was great. Will definitely stay here again.

The water pressure and temperature were stellar. I really enjoyed the beach balls in the pool area, it was a nice touch and a lot of fun. The only negative was that one of the towels had threads off the sides and a couple of wash cloths were not completely clean. It was a bit humid in the room when we raised the temperature.

The property management needs to give close attention to the cleanness of the rooms. We spotted ants and roaches inside the room. The room was not cleaned the second day into our stay and when I requested the front desk to have it cleaned, I was told by the receptionist that the cleaning crew will be about to leave. However, I made sure to take the 'Don't disturb' door tag out before I left the room in the morning in the hope to be cleaned. So, we had to sleep in uncleaned room with no basics replenished.

The hotel is very nice and the staff only was very friendly the thing i woukd complain about was the shower did not have hot water we had to take a cold shower not super cold but the water did not get warm other than that is was fine and we would definitely stay there again

Hotel was pleasant enough with good breakfast options. Service and room was good and the area seemed fine with shops/food outlets nearby.

The Check in was fast and friendly, however when I got to my room I noticed the entry way floor was dirty, like it hadn’t been swept. The corner where my bed was looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum in years! Would not stay here again.

Shower head was extremely dirty and moldy, water flow was terrible although we didn’t use the shower due to the condition of the shower head. There was also the issue of dried blood yes dried blood on the pillow case. This was my second stay and it will be my last.

I loved how convenient the location of the hotel was, also found the Dining and Shopping options around the hotel to be very diverse and abundant. The property looked appealing and welcoming. What I did not like was that we found stains on the shams and sheets of the bed and that toothpaste had not been cleaned up in the bathroom around the sink area.

The hotel is average at best, bath towels are ripped and tattered. Bathroom floors are dirty, I wiped the wet floor in front of the shower and the towel had dirt on it.

What a great place to stay. The room had plenty of space, the hot breakfast was fantastic. Nice quiet place to get a nights sleep before getting on the Autotrain. We will definitely stay there again and maybe even spend 2 nights. The staff was pleasant and easy to deal with.

Everything was fine

The room was big enough and the beds were comfy. Air conditioner was great. The breakfast had multiple hot options and was above average. It was clean and stocked adequately

Family of five. The stay was excellent. Staff was great and they were always doing something, especially cleaning around. The only thing I would suggest, is to move the smoking area away from entrances, specifically the main entrance. It stunk up the entrance, plus it is not a good look at first glance.

Quiet, clean and in a great location

Hotel was nice, needs some updating. Try and stay on the top floor, sounded like a herd of elephants walking around above us. Also get a room next facing the highway, its very noisy. It was in a convenient spot and staff were great!

I don't know why I don't always choose Holiday Inn Express hotels....they are amazing! Super comfortable beds/sheets/pillows (soft & firm); full-size bottles of lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash (all brand name); front desk very helpful when checking in; food at breakfast had an impressive variety of hot & cold items.

We were in town visiting our son who is stationed at Quantico. so this hotel was a nice in between from base and then we could go visit DC easily. hotel was clean, staff very friendly. We LOVED the breakfast. was a great start to our day before we walked the miles around DC. Only a couple issues. 1, was that the pool was out of service while we were there. not a huge issue, but slightly disappointing. 2. the rooms are not really soundproof. we had a tour bus of young kids there a couple nights. they were being kids.. but it sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling above us.. bouncing balls, or something.. again. .kids being kids.. was only a night or 2 like that. nothing the hotel can be blamed for. would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great.

I wanted to leave after the first night but since it was after noon the front desk said they had to charge me for a second night. After I woke up the second day there was a nasty brown roach in the bathroom scurrying about. I took multiple photos and video so it could not be disputed. It made me feel disgusting. When I checked out they did not ask how my stay was or anything. I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate people.

Nice & clean. Newer rooms are very functional & well laid out. However, the total price (room, taxes, & fees) of a king bed room totalled $309 per night which is too expensive. Next time we'll shop around for sure.

The staff were so nice!! No matter the time of day, they met us with a cheerful hello! The breakfast also did not dissapoint, with on the spot pancakes, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, bagels, patries, yogurt and more, you definitely could not ask for more! Rooms were clean and well managed. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express

Your average hotel, no frills, but for the price it was cool. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. However, you could hear everything thru the thin walls. We were greeted with an attitude by the Front desk clerk (Toya), as a few of us waited 10/15 mins before she came down the elevator and proceeded on her personal call while checking us in. We weren’t sure if she was talking to us or them. Later in the evening and throughout our stay she was pleasant, but 1st impressions are everything and I’m really big on customer service. After all, I can get a bed anywhere, I choose to pay for service.

I have been staying at holiday inns since a child with family I always have a great stay now being a grandmother I stay with my grandsons this trip the only concern was pool it needed more attention, the air conditioner in room was very loud, staff was very friendly and professional

They had nice customer service, but my room smelled moldy, and you can hear the people above you. The elevator was very creepy. It’s definitely an older unkept building. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woodbridge VA. It was supposed to be for 2 queen size beds, but only realized the next morning that the reason we were so cramped, was because the beds were full size, not queens.

Clean beside the tube drain water will not go down while taking a shower I hated that other than that ok

Toya was so pleasant and she shared her love for purple along with my daughter. She made us feel welcomed and had a great sense of hospitality.

Our room was dirty and there was hair in the sink and tub. The hotel was very noisy and it was hard to het a good nights sleep.

I booked last minute for my husband. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

The staff was wonderful, engaging, polite, and very helpful. Unfortunately, we could hear everything through the walls around us and the floors above us. Also, the fan in the heating/cooling unit would kick in on high and make a really loud noise and wake us up. The bathroom fan worked well, but it also had a very high pitch screech when it was turned on. It’s an older building.

We had a horrible night here. Checked in at 7pm and our paperwork and check-in with Toya was amazing. Room was spacious and clean. Fell asleep at 10p. All was well until the fire alarm went off at midnight. We got dressed, ready to walk out door... it shut off. Undressed, had just fallen back to sleep and it went off again! We packed up and checked out. Afyer all, the point of getting a hotel room is to sleep. It was probably a fluke. Its a great hotel and deserves 5 stars.

Amazing, very clean, friendly staff, and the the breakfast always in Holiday Inn is good but here was really delicious. Definitely I recommend and we will come back and stay more days, because our stay was comfortable and safe.

It was a one night stay. We were very pleased with everything in the hotel. The room was very spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom very clean and with good amenities. The hotel surrounding and parking well lighted. We had stayed a couple of times in another hotel (we loved it)?in the same area and we just decided to try another one - the Holiday Inn was worth it.

All went well. The location is convenient and clean. It’s also around restaurants and the highway. This was our second stay in 4 days. The free breakfast was especially nice with the biscuits n gravy and the pancake maker was right on point. We may return in the near future. I recommend this place for a couple of nights on your journey south.

Staff were very nice. I was impress with the breakfast. I loved that the hotel provided disposable plastic gloves for guests to put on before they can get breakfast. Rooms were nice, beds were very comfortable. I liked that parking was provided free of charge. I also I liked that Microwave was in the room. We were able to bring leftovers from restaurants and eat them the next day, which saved us some money and time from. The only think I didn't like was the carpet in the room was very old and had a bad odor, but after we got over the smell after the first night.

The staff we're out of this world. They were all so friendly and accommodating and welcoming. We stayed for a week and felt right at home. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and spacious. I would highly recommend them and would go back to that location when traveling in the area.

We did not stay long. They had an indoor pool that we did not use, but it was nice to see several families enjoying their stay. Breakfast was good and the area was clean. The room looked like it had been recently updated except for the carpet. The newness of everything dated the carpet. The bed was comfortable.

What was very unfortunate, was the rug and tile floor were very dirty. My feet got dirty walking barefoot within my room. Unfortunately rug needs serious shampooing and tile floor needs a serious scrubbing with machine, mopping is not sufficient and one of the pillowcases was stained that looked like blood. We noticed that there were barely any housekeepers around so I'm guessing shortage of staff is an issue. Room pricing was a bit high for an average room and only for a 2night stay, but we cannot deny we were quite comfortable.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Cleaning needs a lot of improvement. Desk top and remote were visibly smudgy. Shower was dingy/old and had hair in it. Carpet was stained and there was pop bottle caps under one of the headboards on the floor. Not thorough cleaning at all. Beds were clean and comfy and air conditioning worked. We booked last minute, in town to visit someone in the hospital 5 mins away. It served it's purpose but wouldn't stay there again.

We always like everything about Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I love the large bathroom counters. The beds and linens are always so comfortable too. I really like the yogurts, fruit and cheese omelets at breakfast and the coffee is great too! Everything is placed logically and easy to navigate!

The guy at the desk was so friendly. Hotel was just what we needed.
