Staff was nice and professional, the room was clean, the water pressure in the shower if I could give it a minus 50 I would we pretty much had a little more than a trickle to shower with and lastly I chose not to indulge in the breakfast because another family member that was with us went and said it wasn't worth going downstairs for so I skipped it.

Comfortable beds nice Staff The rooms were not that clean one of the rooms had a bathroom with molding and loose tiles. There was also water damage and paint peeling in the main room.

Customer service was very accommodating and helpful.Latoya went way above expectations and my stay was awesome. Nothing it was perfect.

What did I like about the property? Very clean appearance upon entry. Very friendly staff at the desk. What I didn't like about the property? Shower door inexplicably wouldn't stay closed when taking a shower(repaired by maintenance staff), had a two night stay and received no housekeeping (desk staff said that we should have but we didn't), hotel occupants above us had some encounter at 3:30am which woke me up, and last, just when I was getting back to sleep, the fire alarm went off and all the occupants had to evacuate the building. Needless to say, it wasn't one of my best experiences. However, I can't make a full throated assessment on this property as this was my first stay. I could be willing to try again based on the friendliness and cleanliness of the place.

Once inside of the room, the television didn’t work. Someone came and attempted to connect it. After a third try, the staff member got it work. This hotel needs a true upgrade.

The pool was not in the hotel. You had to go to the Residence Inn, a neighboring hotel, and check in their front desk to get a card for their hotel access to use their pool and gym. The Courtyard Marriott did not have breakfast unless you bought it at the Bistro. The Bistro was out of what we asked to order 3 separate times and we even went so far as to go get the lemon juice from Walmart ourselves so that a single drink could be made. The Bistro also was closed the entire Saturday afternoon. Our 6 month old ended up getting her finger cut open and we went to the front desk for bandaids/first aid supplies. Even with us and the baby covered in blood standing in the lobby, the front desk could only find a few bandaids and some alcohol pads, as their first aid kits were not well stocked. This was after 15 minutes and two first aid kits, to receive that. The cut was no fault of the hotel, but the response time for supplies was astounding. Overall, we might as well have stayed at the neighboring Residence Inn so we were in the hotel with the shared amenities and would have had the continental breakfast as well.

Even when the power went...

The location of this facility is perfect because it is close to I-95 north and south. This visit was very uncomfortable because a few hours into my stay, I notice that the room was riddled with ants! The infestation was everywhere! They were crawling on the wall in the bathroom, crawling on the floor near the trash can in the bathroom, and on the desk with the TV. I didn't notice this until after I ate my dinner and decided to clean up. The ants were so bad that I felt uncomfortable and I left the property early. I was utterly disgusted and was uncomfortable, so I left the premises.

The location was right off I95 which made it very convenient. The facility was clean and fairly well kept. I did not like that they tried to charge me $125 (the cost of the stay) to register my dog. It was egregious. I had to negotiate the cost and then the person behind the desk seemed annoyed by it. Most places charge $50 at most.

The room was spotless when i got there and the bistro in house is amazing! Most hotels i have been to end their breakfast at about 8am. The earliest they close theirs is 9:30! Absolutely amazing. So much so that i decided to get another night with them just for the extra comfort they provide!

I was SHOCKED by the cost of having my dog stay with me. Expedia says there is a charge. They did not say that is was more that the cost of the room!

No soap in room. Took 45 minutes before front desk brought it. Sharp metal shower drain cover sat propped up in the shower. Realized, mid-shower, that there was conditioner and 2 body washes mounted to wall (no shampoo). Alarm clock went off at midnight. All the doors and drawers and cabinet doors were open when we entered the room.

Our stay was average. We had our dog, which is our baby. The grass was very long and there was trash everywhere, which is not pet friendly at all. The room was alright; could use a little upgrading. Honestly wouldn’t stay there again.

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed it as much as our first. The staff were super friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. We were next to the elevator and never heard it--amazing. Very convenient location also--close to highways and lots of delicious restaurants and stores that travelers might need.

It was okay. We ended up getting a handicap room which we weren’t happy with but took it anyway. Showering the water was running almost to the door of the bathroom so we had to put towels down to block the water from wetting the carpet. The handle fell off the shower. The toilet kept on sticking so we had to left the well to fix it from running.

Check in staff everything was great. I had to be changed rooms that was because of the heating issue the first room I had it smelled horrible. It smelled like someone smoked in that one and it got in my clothes. Second room was great overall it was an OK stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Charlene, Daniel and Mohammed were exceptionally pleasant, helpful and attentive. Hotel was easy to navigate with elderly and a dog. Nice cafeteria set up. Location is very convenient as well. Plenty of parking available.

At that point, I asked the front desk if it was possible to adjust my reservation and waive one of the three nights, given that I hadn’t even entered or used my room. Unfortunately, the manager informed me that there was nothing they could do, citing their policy that charges are non-refundable once a credit card is used to check in. While I understand policies are in place, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or effort to find a solution. The response felt dismissive, leaving me feeling like my concerns weren’t valued. I appreciate the otherwise smooth check-in process, but I do hope the management considers being more accommodating in unique situations like this. Noteworthy I had one additional room for two nights and actually came back to stay a fourth night.

Stayed here for the Christmas holiday week and I have to say, do not let the negative reviews deter you from staying at this hotel. I had two rooms, and they were both very clean, comfortable and very nice. I will definitely be coming back.

The staff was very nice. There was remodeling going on in the lobby which created some noise, but not unbearable. Overall the property was fine. My stay was pleasant.

My stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Woodbridge Potomac Mills, VA is my worst stay at any hotel. I unfortunately cannot include the 3 pages describing the incidents in your review. Their computer system, employees, breakfast service & management all failed at different points of our stay. The worst was losing 2 hours of visiting my Air Force brother's family on 11/29 by being asked to come back to the hotel because the staff was unable to find their mistake & accused of us of not paying for our last day. They refused Expedia confirmation, that previous staff on 2 separate occasions confirmed our stay until 11/30, that our prepaid breakfast card to the bistro was dated by the hotel staff for 11/30 and they failed to recognize that our room cards still worked on rooms meant we weren't check out on 11/29. Multiple times the computer system was hard for your staff to use. First, we did not receive our breakfast card at check-in & a clerk the next day had to search to find it (that should have never been missed). Then the clerk that checked us in accidentally checked us in for a day early which played a part in the later staff wrongly threatening to remove our stuff. One clerk figured it. Our last day the bistro was unable to serves us because they had run out of food. So 2 unpaid breakfasts, losing 2 hours with my family to come back to prove that we were right & having a traumatic experience with management was worth a soda pop each. AN IMPRESSIVELY BAD EXPERIENCE

Room looked nice, but on closer inspection, it was not very clean. Sheets were stained, bathroom had dark hair and dirt in shower. The bed was sunken in the middle and not comfortable.

3rd floor smelled of trash, and the vending, laundry room, and ice machine were the reasons why. Bad overflow of smelly trash

The room’s floor looked as if it was hardly vacuumed. Along the beds and furniture were clumps of hair and random bits of previous stuff previous guests left behind. No vending machines. Although there did have a little shop with about 10 different sizes of sour patch kids and a very sparse selection of sodas. Although they were having the lobby painted and redone, I feel as if attention to the guest rooms were neglected.

We had a very nice stay. The two downsides were: 1) the room smelled musty. And 2) we paid for breakfast but weren’t able to get it. The bistro attendant said it wasn’t in our reservation. I have the receipt that says it was. We didn’t have time to argue. So, we left.

I thought given its title of Fairfield Inn by Marriott that it would be up to date and clean and appealing to the eye. Imagine my surprise when I walk into my room to orange stinky carpet and a cracked bathtub…the bed’s cleanliness is also suspect considering the appearance of the rest of the room.

difficulty with WIFI ..had to get assistant manager to set it up...had paid for breakfast and that was not on our check in but fortunately I had a receipt and reservation ...room comfortable enough but really not made for meals...like buffets at other motels better...just moving through but expect more from Marriott...am a Bon Voy member as well

Well, I really dont like the fact that I was double charge, spoke to the manager who said it will be reimbursed in the next 15 days. Its been 45 days and still have not seen in. Since I booked through Expedia, they should have never charged me on my credit card, and they did. It really breaks the trust with customers.
