This hotel was given a 3 star when I looked at the reviews. I was shocked at how clean and up to date it was based on the 3 stars. The room was very clean , the bathroom

Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows! Hot water in the shower. We spent several hours at the pool one day, which was very nice because it was a beautiful day outside. We missed our chance for breakfast because the first time we overslept and the second time we left before they opened. I’d definitely stay again. No complaints.

My bathroom light fixture detached from the ceiling due to water damage. Breakfast was lack luster, not bad but not good. The facilities seemed very dated and they need maintenance or a remodel.

The hotel has an old feel to it. It is reasonably clean, the staff is sufficiently friendly and the rooms are fine. The breakfast is on the weaker side. If you want a reasonably priced accommodation near Potomac Mills, this is your place. Surprisingly, it does not have too many guests. There is plenty of space for parking.

We stayed at the BW for two nights while visiting family. We had a king room at the end of the building. I would recommend asking for this room because it’s bigger than the others. The outlets were older and did not support updated electronic charging cords unless you also had a wall plug. The hotel could use some updates but overall we had a very good stay

The sheets were disgusting & the accessible shower was anything but. Literally checked in & out all within 10 minutes.

Room was very spacious and clean. Front desk staff was good. Always check your refrigerators and such because apparently, according to the front desk, the rooms don’t always have enough outlets to keep everything running and housekeeping doesn’t check it all the time. Went to dinner the night before and couldn’t eat my seafood the next day because the refrigerator wasn’t plugged up but yet the microwave and coffee pot were.

There were two minor issues that I really didn't care for, First, the outside noise from other rooms and folks was higher that what I expected. Secondly, When I got up in the morning the first thing I did was to make a cup of coffee from the Keurig coffee maker. Well, it was unplugged which I didn't know at first (thought it was broken) but I then followed the cord and saw that it was not plugged in, the receptacle only had 2 outlets and one was in use for the microwave and the other was being used for the mini fridge which I unplugged as it wasn't in use so I did get to make a cup of coffee. I will say that after making the coffee, it was terrible (I didn't expect the best but this was not good, close to the worst,they may want to change brands? The sugar packet only contained 1 sugar and 1 creamer. I used 2 packets and it still didn't help! I do travel quite a bit and other chains beat this coffee, hands down, along with better packets!

Room 912 has extensive water damage in the closet other than that the room is well maintain an updated. There were a lot of options for breakfast. And it is family friendly.

The breakfast was delicious, the employee who checked us in was friendly and attentive. The room exactly what was needed for a quick respite while on the road and it was easy to hop back on the highway the next morning.

Room we had was 707. The good points were the bed was comfortable though the pillows were comfy they were small size decorating pillows but had 4. Staff were all excellent and the breakfasts were well stocked and several choices. The dinning staff attendant was organized and super friendly and inviting. The rooms have been updated at some point but was poorly done. Here are areas that made me give only 3 stars, Trim and walls needing attention. Corners need a good cleaning. (Drives me nuts when cleaning staff do not clean behind bathroom doors) our TV was pixelated and would glitch out. Was super annoying so we watched movie on ipad only to find out the internet password expired and had to call down to get new password. No big deal but just another inconvenience mounting. The microwave cart it dated and pretty beat up looking adding to the overall room look needing attention. Close to alot of things and metro super convenient to get to along with other transportation. The price was good and i wasn’t expecting 5star but i have paid the same for other hotels and had a better room condition. The friendly staff at least made up for some short falls

This has probably been my worst experience at any hotel. I was immediately harassed by an individual who was not even staying at the hotel upon arrival. I was also harassed by individuals on the outside of the hotel. As I was arriving back to the hotel one night, two people were having obvious intercourse in the parking lot. The way the bathroom was designed caused flooding. The room was obviously unclean with ants in the bathroom, the floors turned white socks black, and there were large brown stains on certain furniture. The hotel was also very loud both inside and outside throughout the night. While I was leaving, there were bloody clothes on the ground outside one of the side exits. Overall a terrible experience and it is unlikely I will be returning to any Best Western.

My trip was for pleasure. Primarily for relaxing and visiting extended family living in the surrounding area. I stayed 2 nights. I really like the extra security feature, key card required to enter the building,and access floors through the elevator. I appreciate the courtesy parking. The price was good. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. As I stated previously, I like everything about my stay. However, there were some minor inconveniences that I reported during check- out. The shower curtain wouldn't stay closed because there were rips within the top holes around the shower pole. This often resulted in water on the floor. Also, the Aircondition didn't work properly. During the whole stay, the cooling system remained on fan setting. The LCD only projected lines. There weren't any numbers noted on the cooling panel dashboard. However, the outside temps were similar to early Springtime during the day, and a little cooler at night , so having at least the fan blowing worked fine.

But a few notes: Front desk staff should never say a customer’s room number out loud when assigning, especially with other people in the lobby. Rooms and furniture very dated, and in need of replacement with modern sleek furnishings. It looks like someone’s grandmother’s house. Everything is bulky and just…NO. Hard floors need extra attention in terms of cleanliness. Also, I can’t stress enough: DUSTING and WIPING down surfaces better. Thank goodness I travel with cleaning products.

It was close to places with in a bit of walking. You had to use your hotel key to access anything. No microwave in the rooms. I had to go back over the bathroom with some cleaning tools because toilet seat was dirty. The price was a little high considering you had to pay for your night and leave it deposit.

The pillows SUCK, why are they small squares and have NO support!? Also, the bathrooms are literally 4’x3’, you can’t move while in there. The carpets were gross too, they show laminate floors, but nope, they’re old, raggedy ripped up carpets. Do not recommend.

Breakfast is the average best Western fair of Waffles, watery eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Or the usual stale pastries. Front desk staff could do a better job of unlocking the front door when the customer has their hands full of baggage or other each day. We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the business room, king size bed, fridge and microwave. The room was a nice size and clean. However, the toilet in our room was loose and the tv was not a clear picture if you swiveled it. The staff was kind.

While we acknowledge that the room furnishings are dated the room was clean a the linen white. The morning breakfast was descent. The choices were limited staples and typical of most hotels. I look forward to the Reno and the day that investment in the brand!

I really enjoyed my stay and would happily book again. We’re already planning our next visit back. The room was a great size and I loved the tub in the room. I could have stayed pool side the whole time! And the quick service restaurant in the lobby was so convenient.

So many bright security lights shining into the window overnight, and the curtains didn't block completely. So it was rough, and rather bare bones.

he said its no smoking in the hotel as if he knew i smoked his context behind the way he said it made me uncomfortable he didn’t smile whike greeting i . was traveling with my infant twins. my jewelry had for many years got stolen . As soon as i got into town i paid for my stay an unpacked i took my jewelry off changed my clothes an left back out we didnt come back too the hotel untill 10:30 pm the next day im repacking an organizing my jewelry was missing . common courtesy they still should have called to say they didn't find anything i had too keep calling, the house keeping manger was very rude as well she said if we didn’t call back that means we didn’t find nothing.. She also said it’s the guest responsibility to keep up with their stuff mind you I worked with hotel services and I know that most people don’t come back For jewelry that was so rude of her to say because people forget things I called and said something about my jewelry

They will charge you a $100.00 fee for a late checkout if your not out the room by 12 ..I was charged the late fee and was checked out by 11:55 trying to get them to dispute the charge was a hassle, some of the front desk staff were rude , the accountant never returned my calls nor has the GM this is unacceptable and I will not stay at this property again

The rooms was outdated and very dusty. You can see the dist on the walls, and their were mice droppings in the room. The bed was hard i actually hurt my leg on the side wire that holds the springs together because it was poking out. NEVER AGAIN

Check in took over 25min, I never had to wait that long. The hotel room was ok, the wallpaper was very loose in one corner. Overall the need some updating and way better customer service. They were quite rude!

Hotel was dated, bathroom appeared clean but the discoloration on the floor hid the actual lack of deep cleaning, especially around the shower and grout seals- which was easily overlooked at first from poor lighting. The lights had an extreme delay with turning on and the bed was not comfortable, so much so that we decided to end our trip early.

Room was filled with bugs. Got changed to another room, has been 3 weeks and no refund issued to me. I checked out a day earlier and the charge for two nights still remains in my bank account. Called back a week ago and the receptionist stated that there was an additional charge for my room…. I call back today, now a different receptionist says my reservation isn’t even in their system. Very unprofessional. Not very accommodating when I needed a room change either..

I called down to the front desk; the lady insults my intelligence and insists I'm hearing the luggage of the college students hit the floor. I asked her to move us to a different floor but of course, no rooms available. So I advised her if she didn't address the issue IMMEDIATELY I was going to open my door and it was NOT going to be good! I had my child with me crying from these college students bangin on our front door and "pissed" is an understatement! The students gave up trying to get into my room and after a few hours, the noise quiets and we're able to sleep. The next morning we get up and try to shower. The water isn't draining from the tub so after all we'd been through the night before, now we have to shower in a tub full of water. I couldn't wait to check out and will not visit this location in the future.

Did not like waiting 20 minutes for desk clerk to check me in because they were on a break. Need a better way to handle if staffing is short. Not the clerk fault but an apology for the long wait would have made better customer sense. Need to look into this process. A discount on next visit would be in order.

Overall the staff was really good too, except the one big black guy who speaks fluent spanish that was a complete jerk. I wanted to extend my stay and needed his help with some questions...he was simply too busy to give me 2 minutes of his time, and was very rude about it too. The only thing I absolutely do not like about this hotel is how long they take to refund security deposits. Gone are the days when hotel deposits don't get back onto customer's accounts for several days. These days some hotels are releasing it same day, and with my bank, I get the refund almost instantly. Not with this hotel. They're still stuck in the old ways... you have to wait several days before they release the funds to your bank.

My girls thoroughly enjoyed the suite. Especially the swan made from towels. I enjoyed the space and seeing my girls happy. I wish I would've taken photos.

This place looks nasty, stayed here just because i was on the road for 14 hour's. I am a diamond elite member with Holiday INN. I rarely ever see a location that charges a room deposit. When i do get charged a deposit its no more than $50.00. No wonder your parking lot is empty. You lose business because of your outrageous deposit.

A pit stop on my way home for a night's rest. Easy access to the interstate. Breakfast was really good. Staff was very nice and cordial. Customer service was excellent. Beds were comfortable, except the pillows. I really wish Best Westerns would get better pillows. But overall, they are still my hotel of choice.

Our room was perfect and the staff was GREAT!!! Breakfast was delicious!!!!!

I’m saddened to say that my experience was nothing of the patrons that has rated this establishment so high in the past. I will not be staying at this location again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. For the price you pay, the subpar breakfast and amenities are unacceptable.
