Love the staff, room size and the breakfast. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was well labeled and I especially loved the turkey sausage for non pork eaters. I love the new fresh pancake maker. Also very good variety. Time for new sheets and towels. They were good but I can tell a little worn. Sign where elevator is

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We needed extra towelings and desk clerk was not able to provide any at the time and promised to get us some which were never supplied.

The motel was very clean I love it because yall have dove soap. lol I really did and the water is jus right. It wasn’t the property the surrounding was awful we heard Gunsl shots couple of times. I really didn’t like tht . Other then tht we love the stay very comfortable.

The breakfast was good and had several options. Our room had a very distinct smell, and we stayed so our kids could swim in the pool and it was a dark green algae color and unable to swim.

Clean rooms and a nice breakfast Pool wasn't open. Staff told us they were waiting on the heath inspector who was delayed but the pool was dark green with tons of algee like they hadn't even attempted to open it for inspection. Also the bathroom door wouldn't close/latch for it to be able to lock. It was also very warm in the room. The thermostat went down to 68 but the room never made it lower then 71.

The Holiday Inn Express is cozy and the staff super friendly. We overslept and didn’t make breakfast but we had a glorious night of rest!

The property had a few items in my room that didn’t work like the phone the shades of the window didn’t open. I could never get connected to the WIFI, and the microwave didn’t heat food proper. Lamps in the room would not cut on. Was very disappointed from the previous time I stayed at the same hotel in February of 2026.

The hotel seemed fully booked, so it did get a bit noisy at times, as sound carried through the walls and doors. Breakfast was good and met our needs, although the buffet area was smaller than expected. The seating area, however, was spacious and comfortable. I also used the laundry facilities, which was convenient. My key card didn’t initially work for access, but Patricia at the front desk was extremely friendly and assisted right away, even propping the door open so I could easily go in and out. Patricia also greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service.

We loved our stay for the most part. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The reason why I rated it an 8 instead of a 10 is because on our last night we had very disruptive neighbors. That kept us up all night. They arrived late at night and were so loud that they woke us up. They continued to be loud and disruptive all night. I let staff know when we checked out. I didn’t call the front desk while it was happening because we didn’t want things to escalate.

The hotel was clean. The only issue was that the interstate is very loud and can hear inside of room. I was also awoken at 3am by a loud truck idling outside of my room. In which I called the front desk and made them aware and they left shortly after that.

This property was in a good location. My room 324 was horrible and the smell of mold and mildew was horrible. We couldn’t sleep in the room due to the smell. The hotel desk clerk said there was no where to move us because of being sold out. At the end, my daughter, 6mth old granddaughter, and myself all ended up being sick with RESPIRATORY INFECTION.

They had no spare bedding, like blankets.

Our room was on the side facing the interstate. It could be noisy at times. Once we went to sleep it didn't wake us up but it did take a little while to fall asleep. I dont think that would be a problem on other side of hotel and it wasn't a huge deal. All the positives outweighed this.

The staff Was on the first floor right next to the interstate, then the other guest kept slamming the doors, then college students came one night and was really loud.

No hot water on the 3rd floor. Was told a plumber was on the way to relight the pilot on their water heater. I continued to call the front desk and was told the same thing. When I went to check out the next morning, they said the plumber never showed up and they never called him. I reached out to the general manager of the location, multiple times and got no response.

Cons-the people above us were, seemingly, doing calisthenics. Typical hotel thin walls. Not the hotels fault, just something to know. 1# dislike-mold in the shower. There’s just no excuse for this. Spray it with something, recaulk, and move on.

We stayed just over an hour since the heat didn't work correctly. They "tried" to fix it by unplugging it and plugging it back in but unsurprisingly it didn't work and I will be cancelling the payment on it.

The staff is amazing. I choose this hotel every time when transporting my daughter back and to college because of the friendly staff. They always welcome you with a smile and always make you feel like you home. Being from down south I love the hospitality!!!!! The food is not great which is not the staff fault but that’s what restaurants are for and someone else may enjoy the breakfast. (I’m very picky eater)

It is conveniently located, the breakfast was good and the room was clean. The Wifi was nonexistant however and the windows do nothing to block the traffic noise from the highway. The walls seemed pretty thin too as one could hear just normal conversations in the next room. We will look for accommodations elsewhere on our next stay in the area.

Everything was really good till the last morning. Woke up to a sewer smell in our room. We were checking out that morning anyway so we went ahead and left.

This hotel was great. It’s in a quiet area. Check in was quick. I especially love their breakfast choices. The hotel is very clean. All the amenities were in the room. They have this little closet for the iron and iron board.

We were checking out and was a few minutes early for the continental breakfast, I asked the breakfast staff only for a cup of orange juice for my special needs son and we were waved away and pointed to the front desk. Upon telling the front desk attendant, what happened all they said was they would tell management.

The problem we had was no hot water for showers and the toilet wouldn’t flush. When informed the lady when we checked out and she said that there is only one hot water heater for the entire hotel so maybe too many people were using hot water. (We took showers at 6:30)

My stay at the Holiday was great. I had misplaced my confirmation and wasn't sure of the address and ended up at a different Holiday-Inn. Eventually found the information and returned safely. It felt good and safe. Enjoyed the breakfast and parking.

We had problem to sleep because of the traffic. Also the AC was too noisy.

Really comfortable stay in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast served daily was fresh and hot. Coffe was provided all day. Beds were extremely comfortable and room service was timely and efficient. The host Patricia and staff were especially accommodating of additional needs. It was an excellent day

Patricia working the front desk and the General Manager greeted warmly upon arriving and answered all questions and very helpful. Leaving the checkout was non interactive and not helpful or friendly with a different front desk associate.

We were parked in the back because we were pulling a U-Haul. It was very dark.

Clean and comfortable the beds were very high off the floor which was interesting. The only bad thing is our room faced the freeway and the noise was very apparent.

The refrigerator did not work, it was not clean.. front desk was rude

Expedia is misleading information about the hotel while booking. I booked hotel via Expedia for six guests but hotel room was reserved for only 4 guests. Terrible customer service. Don't book via Expedia.

Better than my expectations

The hotel was super clean. Our room, clean. Bathroom, clean. Bed, comfy. We slept well and didn't feel icky walking around. And b/f was pretty good too. I've paid more at other hotels and had it worse. For the price, this was a great option.

Staff and service were excellent! People were very friendly and helpful!

Overall my stay was incredible. However there some small issues that where not resolved when reported. The wifi didnt work in my room and after taking a shower the bathroom smelt of sewage. However, very clean room A/C kicked and Entertainment on the television was quite enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone to stay here, And will most likely be attending again.

The toiletries were excessively watered down.

The room was facing the interstate so you heard the road noise. Upon entry, you could smell the cleaning products and the water has been previously used, excessively. The shower had high pressure water, if you like that. the breakfast was good and was rotated out frequently. The location was near plenty of dining options and Hanes Mall was the next exit. I would stay here again.

Even had crispy bacon and biscuits and gravy. There was a little bit of noise from adjoining room, through locked connecting doors. Appreciated the convenience of being so close to I-40 but there was some highway noise throughout the night.

After driving from Washington DC to Winston Salem, NC. It was a long trip on the road. When I arrived at my destination the staff was professional and courteous in handling our needs and concerns. The room was wonderful and spacious, the beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was outstanding and soothing and in combination made my rest so recuperative. The breakfast was out of this world, the omelettes were scrumptious and the bacon was crisp. I had no complaints whatsoever, it was a very pleasant and positive experience. I will request Holiday Inn to all my family and friends. Thank you for your service and hospitality. All the staff was cordial and respectful.

Expedia TOTALLY MESSED UP our reservation, despite 3 calls we made before check-in. Your "offshore/remote" reservationist gave us the WRONG HOTEL... about THREE MILES AWAY from the hotel Expedia told us we were confirmed in... near the hospital we needed for my surgery an hour after arrival. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! DONE WITH EXPEDIA!!!

I can't express in words the staff were beautiful and just so pleasant and nice. Very welcoming. This was definitely a pleasure staying at your establishment.
