The room was good but it seemed like the hotel needed a little overall updating. Makayla, at the front desk, was fantastic! Very professional and kind, and helpful.

Breakfast was generous and varied.

Stayed here overnight on our way to the beach. It was the perfect overnight stop. Front desk was very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the pool was a nice bonus! This location is in a convenient spot as well. Close to stores, gas stations, and restaurants.

Tanya at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! The only small issue is that the woman working in the breakfast area was rude. Everything else was amazing.

We arrived late in the evening on Saturday and the front entrance was locked and no one was behind the front desk to let us in. We had to wait more than 10 minutes for someone to let us in. In our bathroom, the tub drain was clogged so the bathtub kept filling with water when we showered. When we reported it to the front desk, they said they didn’t have any maintenance people available to look into it until Monday. They did give us a plunger but we had to plunge it after each person showered to get the water to drain. The person behind the desk said she would try to get me some extra Hilton points for my trouble, but that hasn’t happed. Overall it could have been a far better experience.

I stayed there two nights with my husband and two adult children and a dog for my daughter’s graduation. As four of us need to stay in one room with a dog, I worried if it would be too crowded but the room was spacious and clean. The staff were so nice and friendly. We enjoyed a lot and strongly recommend anyone who wants to stay near Wake Forest University!

My mother transition(April 24 ,2026and I had to return home. When I contacted Booking .Com because I didn't remember my PIN number there was nothing they could do for me. I repeated told them that I had my confirmation number 6285307449.

Room was a bit beat up and the door was louder than usual when closing and didn’t latch. No decaf coffee ( that’s a really nice feature of Hampton inn I count on) and I asked for it. But it required making it and after 45 minutes it still wasn’t made.

Rooms are very nice. Could use a couple of towel racks and soap dish at the sink. Some Hampton Inns have these.

Front office staff was great! Asked a maid for extra towels on our first day and never received room service after that. The only other time we saw a maid was at 9:30 AM when she knocked on our door and told us it was time to checkout. Check-out time was supposed to be at 10! Breakfast was mid. Only one juice worked and the hot foot stayed empty both days. We were in a king suite and the air conditioner doesn’t reach the side of the room that has a bed so it was hot!

The room was ok for our very short stay. The blind was stuck down, but there was another building next to it, so the view was a brick wall.

We have stayed here twice now and have no complaints! Close to food, shopping, gas and their breakfast was delicious! Price-wise it is a little on the high side but it is a Hilton hotel!

Our room was perfect. The only issue we had was with the shower door. I’m surprised Hampton hasn’t replaced it.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious- - so many fresh choices.

Clean, comfortable room, and friendly staff. Stayed due to fumes associated with refinishing the hardwood floors at our nearby home. Thought the price was somewhat high for the room, but overall pleased with the facility. As mentioned above, I felt the price was a bit high for this room. A rate of 10-15% less would have felt more reasonable to me. Still, not a bad value for a short notice stay. Would stay here again if the need arose.

The staff was ok. The hotel appears old and is not clean. The beddings were not comfortable. You could hear the people in the next room using the bathroom as if they were in your room. They allowed a group of people to stand out front making noise until 2am. We had a very important meeting the next day and we were completely sleep deprived.

The employees were phenomenal. The room was clean, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. The room reeked of cigarette smoke.

I didn't mind the overall breakfast menu, but Hampton Inn needs to do something about those chicken sausages. I'm a sausage lover, but those are NOT great. The potatoes were an interesting texture as well. Frozen, I'm assuming, and not cooked well. Would definitely stay again.

the staff was friendly the facility was "tired" look like they tried to update it , but missed the mark-- our king size mattress was on the bed frame when it was clearly suppose to have a box spring on it-- we left a day early

The staff was truly wonderful and went above and beyond, even helping me secure a designated parking spot during a busy sports tournament weekend when parking was extremely challenging. Breakfast was solid and a nice way to start the day. Despite the packed weekend, the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again.

However, while attempting to open the closet, the entire door fell on my five-year-old grand child! She was able to hold up the door for a second while I rushed to grab it. But she could have been seriously injured. We let the staff know but have not heard a word back from management, even after calling to follow up.

A shower wand would of been a great added item in the bathtub. At checkin clerk was attempting to charge the 25.00 security deposit twice as on her end didnt show it as going thru on my end it did & I pulled up our bank acct to prove it had went thru. Needs charging station at bedside tables as no way to charge phones or watches. Overall need more outlets!

Front door to our suite was broken. Hinges in frame were damaged. Had to have someone come tighten the hinges up so we can get in multiple devices electric in the room like USB chargers did not work. The phone to contact the front desk did not work. Had to ask him to come replace the showerhead because it was so badly plugged up with calcium. It wouldn’t work. Contacted the front desk to reset the circuit breaker for one of the electrical devices. It was never done. So what was good about this?

Find out next morning it was actually 6 which we are early risers so would have been to no. Breakfast was just ok, but coffee was nasty. We booked this hotel on the way to beach and booked it for the pool for our two year old. The water was very cold and had worms all through it so we didn’t use it. Room was just ok. It was clean but it was a bit dirty under the bed. I only noticed because my daughter had thrown a toy under and I bent down to get it. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. My stay was amazing & the staff were awesome. There was a problem with the keys not cutting but the front desk team did everything to resolve the issue. Also they were able to get my aunts a room close to my parents & I. My only issue was my door not shutting all the way, but other than that, my stay was amazing & I'd definitely stay there again!!!

The smell in my room was almost like a strong old school stetson type cologne. It was really strong for about 3 hours until the air cycled with the AC

Didn't like that the doors slam very loud and could hearvother guest using the bathroom. 👎 I wasnt asked upon check-in if I would like to be a rewards customer, but I was asked at checkout. Not offered water because I wasn't a rewards customer until checkout.

I enjoy my staying at this hotel no complaints at all.

It was very comfortable.

Beds were small and low to the ground.

Breakfast wasn't too great but that wouldn't prevent us from returning.

When we arrived after putting deposit on our room over a month ago , they told us that it had been overbooked and that didn’t have a room. I want a fair discount for the inconvenience and terrible customer service of the hampton

The room was nice and the breakfast was great. The service was also great. The pool was cold and dirty, and the carpet in the hallway had bumps in it. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The hotel was poorly maintained and the room did not feel clean or up to date. The bathroom had visible mildew and floors were not clean from previous guest. Sheets had stains. Chair upholstery was stained. There was noise throughout the night. The breakfast was acceptable. Service was okay, but not overly hospitable or welcoming. Would not recommend.

When we checked in we were told no water after 8:00 am in the morning!

Great and clean hotel to stay at

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and great options. Coffee and hot water was available all day in the lobby. Resturants were very close and a small mall was across the street. We enjoyed everything and would stay here again.

Very clean and nice front desk staff

All the staff here are so extremely pleasant. Everyone seemed as if they had always known us. It was a great experience!

Watched the KC Chiefs game in the lobby. Desk clerk very helpful and kept an eye out for me when I walked across the parking lot to Zaxby's during halftime.

No hot water. Coat hangers falling off the wall. Vintage TV. Had to wait 45 minutes at check in (even though prepaid) because the front desk had internet problems. Electronic keys didn't work (two trips to front desk). Never again!!

Cons: NO HOT WATER!!! We were switched to another room and the water was still not hot. It was barely lukewarm. Moreso cool. We couldnt take a shower!!! Other guests complained about the water too. The room had HEAVY visible dust on the lamp switches, lamp base, tv stand. The phone to call the front desk was NASTY and it didnt work so I had to go downstairs. If there was no hot water that was definitely a sanitation issue.

Clean nice hotel

I came down to Winston Salem for a couple of days to escape the Virginia icy and snowy weather

My compliant was that on the first morning of showering the water was ice cold, finally after a few minutes it became warm, then cold after 3 minutes. The breakast could have been much better. There was no cheese for the eggs and no alternative to pork sausages.

Would have been better if I had hot water in my room

Actually it started off very bad. We had to change both rooms. Our room had never been clean and the other we had No Hot water. The phone did not work and the towels had not been replaced. Also there was dog cocky outside in the front that my husband stepped in. However I think his name was Bryant saved the day by upgrading our room and profusely apologizing and being kind helped. However those were things that should never happen. We have stayed there before with no problems.

I enjoyed the hot breakfast. The rooms are spacious and in nice condition.

Only thing that I didn't like was the pool was not open.

I booked this property by mistake, but it is a great place. I thought I was booking on Hanes Mall. Nevertheless, this is a great hotel. It seemed new although it’s been around for a while. The hotel is really nice. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Clean, friendly staff.

The hot water took 20 minutes to get to our room. We thought there wasn’t any left. We didn’t realize it was just taking a while so we gave our toddler a sponge bath by warming some water in the microwave.

Room was booked because kids wanted an pool, the indoor pool was closed and kids very unhappy , after taking hours to shop for swim wear paying over $100 including eye care, very disappointing

Off University Parkway in Winston-Salem, quite convenient to shops and easy to get to downtown Winston-Salem. Very clean, very comfortable beds, very quiet, updated finishes and furnishings.

Great ambiance and decor!

Very clean safe and perfectly located with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The lady in charge of the breakfast buffet was amazing even when there was no hot food due to an oven malfunction she made sure we had everything we needed to start our day with breakfast!

The staff was very helpful and courteous.
