    The hotel was located close to the mall and a variety of restaurants! The room was kinda small but it was comfy! Very nice staff I would stay there again!

    When i was able to check out and get away from there. I paid for services that were offered online when i made my NON refundable reservation. Once i arrived the pool was not open, the reason, we just havent gotten around to it yet.. No hotub when i asked for a pool and hotub on my internet search. Also, they claimed a free continental breakfast but there was nothing besides a bistro with ridiculous prices. Everything, the staff was dismissive and just shrugged at my complaints like I didnt matter. Never again will I stay at one again. 151 dollars for one night that was not worth it. Also the shower had dort and hair everywhere when I went to take a shower before checking out. Disgusting, and I should have been refunded or at least let me cancel my reservation. When the pool wasn't open.

    It was clean, the staff were friendly... But the beds are SO uncomfortable. Every time I'm at a Marriott, the beds are old and lumpy. The pillows are too small, and the sheets are incredibly thin. For a place I book explicitly to sleep, I expect to sleep at least ok. Not a chance.

    The photos look like they remodeled it, but all they did really was slap some paint on stuff. Hallways have strong perfume smell, but as soon as you open your room you are hit with a musty odor which was unpleasant. It was pretty dirty, mold in the bathroom, dirty floors, old toilet seat, there was balled up toilet paper in the peep hole of the door, the WiFi didn’t work on my laptop so I was unable to work which caused frustration. I wouldn’t stay here again or really recommend it. If you aren’t as picky about cleanliness as I am, then perhaps this would be a good fit. Although the staff at the front desk was, wonderful, sweet, and kind!

    I didn’t get the middle room in the back overlooking the pool as I requested by phone when I booked the room over a month ago. The patio was very small and only had one chair. I asked the guy at the from desk about having just one chair and he told me that every room has one chair. Which he lied beacuse directly in the middle of the hotel which is what I requested when I booked the room was the patio, chairs and table (2 chairs) and the balcony was much bigger. Shame on you for lying. I will not rebook this hotel because of that reason. I trusted the person on the phone when she told me that she got me when I told her what I wanted.

    I reserved my room on Sunday July 20 to stay Tuesday July 22 for a king room. Upon check-in I was told no king bed was available and was offered a room with two double beds instead but was never offered any form of refund for the difference in price for the rooms, nor any other comps.

    The property is in desperate need of upgrades. I like the Courtyard by Marriot franchise, but this facility is a long way from the normal "Courtyard" standard. I originally booked the downtown location, but accidently for the wrong day. I lost those funds and then paid more for this location that I found substandard, and it was more expensive.

    The property itself was ticketed away you had to drive to go anywhere not convenient to walk to grab a bite somewhere. When I originally got there the light above the vanity did not work but a quick visit to the desk solved that. The phone in the room also did not work. Property was clean but the area by the mall just felt worn down and the mall itself was underwhelming. Probably would not stay in this area again in the future.     I spent seven nights here and didn't enjoy any of it. Not only did I not feel safe as a solo female traveler, but the hotel itself is dingy and musty. They try to cover up all the moldy smells with air fresheners, which makes it even worse. I was so disappointed in the hotel that I wanted to change halfway through but couldn't find availability. I never wanted to be in the lobby or common space due to the smelliness of the area. Nothing was fresh or clean smelling.

    I liked that the front desk receptionist who checked me in was amazing. I had her name, but I seem to have forgotten it. But if you look at the time I checked in, it shouldn’t be hard to find out. But I didn’t like when suspicious people were coming from behind the building after dark. They clearly didn’t stay there. That’s why I mentioned more lighting in the parking lot. Or at least security checks. And I still haven’t received my deposit back yet.

    I got in about 12:30 in the morning after a long flight and the front desk lady had the front door locked with no way to reach her. After enough knocking she finally came with an attitude like i was doing something wrong I had a reservation paid for already and did not appreciate that introduction. Then she followed up with some more very rude abrupt service i told her i didnt appreciate her service and she tried to explain by saying she got robbed the other night is which i continued to say if that was your problem for letting me in then maybe you should find another job instead of treating everybody criminal and locking the doors during business hours.

    Was in a jam late at night passing through Winston-Salem and this Courtyard location fit us in even though they were packed due to a convention in town. Everyone was very nice and the room was clean. Our room was very close to the kitchen, and we smelled food quite a bit during our stay. This can't be helped, just suggest booking second floor if smells bother you. It just made us hungry.

    The main thing I didn’t like was that our whole hallway smelled like weed. I don’t care to smell it or have my children smell it. There also is NO SMOKING rule, so I don’t understand how smoking weed is acceptable. I hope they have to pay the fine for smoking in their room. Also, it is NOT legal to smoke weed in NC!!

    When I went for my 'included breakfast' the next morning, the employee asked me to Zelle him money for cash he was giving me because he was having bank issues. After 10 minutes of back and forth, I no longer had time to get breakfast... I'll be back in the area a lot for work, and unfortunately would not recommend this hotel. I'll be looking elsewhere.

    The stay itself was OK. This was a trip booked for an employee of our company. She ended up having to leave early and at check out was told the last night of her stay would be refunded. When contacting the hotel to get said refund we were told it no. The GM said they would not stand by that promise. We literally spend thousands of dollars at this property every year. We will take our business to another property.

    Looking for a good nights stay in a clean quiet hotel, this one's for you. Hotel has been updated and has a very comfortable feel and nice decor. Not only does it look updated, the rooms have been updated as well. My room contained a balcony which was nice to sit out on even though the night was a little chilly. If you need a nice place to stay, look no further, well worth the cost!

    I requested a room with a balcony and was not given one at check in. I questioned the front desk about it after I moved all my luggage in and was told there are rooms with balconies available. I asked why did I not get one with a balcony. The clerk said it is upon request and is treated as an upgrade to dissatisfied guests. I would have liked receiving what I paid for. I requested a room with balcony during booking in the special needs section. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    Bathrooms weren’t clean, stains on walls, and toilet seat. Very loud customers, people hanging in the front.

    Nice looking hotel. Easy to find. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Bed was not very comfortable. The exterior window was cracked and the seal was hanging loose. The noise from the interstate was very loud.

    My stay was pleasant. The only slight issue was that my room would get slightly chilly each time the heating unit would go off. But once it turned back on the room would warm back up. Outside of that everything was fine.
