the room we stayed at was nice. dated but with character.

Gorgeous historical building in downtown Winnipeg. Room was great. The shower head height was wonderful. The room service food was exceptional. The bed was way too soft. Had to sleep in the middle of the bed. The right side sank too low. The bathroom was a bit dated. The tub should be replaced and the tiles in the bathroom are cracked in places. No blackout curtains.

Enjoyed the room service breakfasts. Homemade sourdough bread! Bed very comfortable. Didn’t eat in the Oval but the bar staff were exceptional!

My room was on the eighth floor. There’s a ballroom on the 7th floor. They had events in the ballroom on Friday and Saturday with very loud music playing till 12:30 am.

It was great to stay in one of Canada’s magnificent grand railway hotels. Beats the modern steel, marble and glass sterility of 5 star hotels. Noisy air conditioning

Walking distance to The Fork . Hotel is clean . Staff are nice . From our booking , room description says it has sofa bed but we never got it :( We were told that we have to ask for it :(

Everything was good with our room. Very comfortable. Parking was hard to figure out. The desk clerk told us we needed to enter from the side street. But she didn’t give us any information how to get there. For instance she should have told us if you’re parked in front go out onto the street make left turn and another left turn onto the street next to the building. We didn’t know that side street was one way. We went out of your driveway and made a right hand turn and another right hand turn which brought us behind the building and couldn’t enter the one way street.

Walkable to everywhere I was visiting. Shower/water pressure is amazing; friendly staff. Beautiful and comfortable room. Windows have pull down shades for complete darkness overnight. Quiet. Restaurants on-site! TV had some issues with signal, but this was insignificant comparatively.
