The room was clean and spacious, giving me plenty of room to relax after a day at the beach. The beds were especially soft and comfortable—I slept great every night! Everything in the room was well-maintained and made for a very comfortable stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay near the beach.

We would stay here again, but the room tub, computer desk chair and sofa needed more cleaning. The front desk staff was all friendly especially Desiree and Bill. The breakfast was okay, there was two ladies working. The snaller lady was very professional amd went out her way to assist her, while the other women more heavier was rude at all times and watched you like a hawk. She didn't want to help with anything. But the other women was so accomodating.

Floors could have been cleaner in my room. An old tooth brush was laying on bathroom floor. Nice place good location.

The thermostat was old and not able to be set on a specific temperature. Around 72 degrees outside and falling had to switch back and forth from Cool to Heat.

Breakfast seemed reheated and weird. But was other options. Wish there was a better fresh breakfast. Very let down but was still food!

The property is beautifully kept, rooms are spotless, and it is advertised as it truly is. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciated there was always hot coffee and hot water provided in the lobby along with creamers and hot cocoa mix for anyone staying there. There is even a mini market available in the lobby. Great workout room with many machines and equipment to get workouts in - especially last weekend in November, it was too cold outside to walk. But when the sun is out, there are many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings. There’s a convenient and very clean laundry room on the second floor too. This was my first visit to Residence Inn and I enjoyed my stay very much.

The staff were super nice and helpful, have only nice things to say! The room, however, was not clean. Carpet was visibly dirty, the bathroom had visible mildew and mold, and the pull out bed was very dirty.

Clean and great customer service only problem it had one king bed and hideabeds I prefer two queens. Office said they don’t have rooms with two queens other than that excellent service nice staff very helpful and breakfast was wonderful it had everything from waffles to yogurt . Pool was sparkling and refreshing! They provided towels at pool area

However, the cleaning staff could not speak English at all which made it difficult to communicate. We have been visiting this hotel most years for the past 25 years and this year was a disappointment. The hotel has become tired and in need of updates and modernisation. And not always clean in all areas. The pool in particular was extremely dirty until we specifically asked at Reception for it to be cleaned. It needs substantial updates to make it look appealing to get into and instill trust that it is a hygienic pool to be swimming in. Some refurb updates were taking place over several days during our stay which were very noisy and disrupted any peace and quiet that we were trying to enjoy. The breakfast provision was of a good level and the breakfast area was clean. We were disappointed on arrival at the cleanliness of the room from every aspect. We expressed this to the guest services night man. The sliding doors to the wardrobe did not function properly until we cleaned the track ourselves which improved the situation. The bathroom was reasonably clean. However, we had to ask most days for the floors to be hoovered and cleaned. The room was most often not serviced until late afternoon. The building needs attention.

Breakfast was good. Rooms not so much. All the cabinets squeaked and the refrigerator compressor makes a lot of noise. Rooms need a refresh!

The location was great Our suite was not very clean. The shower liner in the barhroom had mold on it and the bath tub did not drain. I informed housekeeping, but no one came to address it. We ended up getting Drano and did it ourselves. The shower liner remained dirty as shown in the photo

The staff was very nice and helpful! There were restaurants within walking distance. I would stay again with an updated shower.

Property smelled like garbage. Reported several tumes

Let me tell you! Housekeeping went above and beyond for my family!!! Our daughter had an accident in bed during nap time and they were so quick to help! I can’t even say how thankful we are. The housekeeping manager literally helped me calm down from embarrassment and was so sweet. Everyone from check-in to just walking in the hall was amazing!

My stay was very nice. I did have a problem with a noisy Heat/AC unit. It was very loud. Front desk was notified but not enough time to fix the unit.

Residence Inn is one of my favorite hotels. I love the home away from home aspect. I liked that all the rooms were spacious and not cramped for it to be a two bedroom suite. The amenities were great and the bed was very comfortable.

The bar was less than desirable. They didn’t have any vodka! Very strange item to be out of at a bar. Would have spent more time there if available. Food at breakfast had a nice variety. Loved the vegetarian options.

Great to have a kitchen and even better to be a pet friendly facility. Great location. Not too far from the beach, 7 min drive.

The staff was nice and friendly, but the color decor seemed too dark and dreary to me, especially the hallways, which were dark brown. In our room, the bath area sink, had no cold water. Also, the ceiling in the sitting area of our room must have had a bad leak because the repairs made to it was an eye sore. The breakfast was good, though, and parking was convenient. So, 3 stars at the most.

Booked here on Expedia and upon checking out found out that Expedia charges a fee per night for the room. Hotel bill was actually $170 less, the additional $170 went to Expedia, this was NEVER shown on the breakdown upon booking. Had I not complained to the hotel manager I would've never seen this additional monies taken by Expedia, they charge a fee like an Airbnb & VRBO does. Do yourself a favor and book directly through the hotel, DO NOT USE EXPEDIA when booking a hotel room

Not too far from the beach , 10 min drive

It was close to the ocean and close to shopping, love the pickle ball court and the breakfast! We hope to use the pool, but it was closed for cleaning each time we went to use it. There was a heavyset guy that spent a good two hours cleaning it. It probably was the cleanest pool in the county, it just wasn't ever open for us to use in the morning!

No USB connections in the room. There should be several, at the least. Why is there no bread for toast at breakfast? Should have some half and half for the coffee. These things are not that hard.

The staff is very friendly and pleasant, and the hotel was clean. It is one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed at in the Wrightsville Beach área. It feels like a hotel that is around 30 years old, but has recently been given a nice lipstick renovation. The bathroom felt more modern than the rest of the room. My main complaints are with the thermostat and the bed. The bed and pillows were too soft for me. The thermostat is still one of those old school sliding thermostats and there is less than 1/2 inch between 70 and 80 degrees. I had a hard time finding that sweet spot between too hot and too cold. Other than that, our stay was great.

The property looked nice and well maintained. However they have strange rules about check in times. We were on the road and couldn't come to the hotel before 6 am, I got charged for no show. Also I booked hotel through Expedia, where I specifically looked for pet friendly hotels. It was a total shock that I had to pay additional $100 for a dog. It was not expected.

The best part of the hotel was front desk crew. Dee, Lexi and Tyler were great. Everything else was way below standard. Our bathroom light made noise, the toilet water ran all night, the breakfast sucked and the bed was uncomfortable....and the hotel was a poo hole. Old and smelly.

I really enjoyed my stay here. A very clean, well run, and appealing property that values their patrons. I stayed here from 06/20 to 06/26 and was always greeted each morning by various staff which made me feel welcome and appreciated. The housekeeping staff and Jimmy the maintenance man were always willing to stop and ask how my day was. Outstanding service all around! I enjoyed my stay so much I already booked myself for another trip for late August 👍

Woke up at three am to my wife’s screaming. There was a three inch cockroach crawling on the wall next to my kid’s bed. I brought it down to the night manager. He was very apologetic. He was uncomfortable with “the financials “ and suggested I talk to the day manager. The day manager thanked me for bringing this to her attention and was very apologetic. That’s it. Needless to say that I won’t be staying there again. It seems like everywhere you go these hotels are skimping on services, falling behind on maintenance and serving crappy breakfast all in the name of Covid. They collect full price though. I’m going to be using air b&b from now on.

Extremely disappointed in the continental breakfast, for the price that we paid for the room I thought we would at least get a hot cooked breakfast, however everything was in prepackaged wrappings and microwaved.(hard) No fresh waffles, or cooked oatmeal, no actual cooked eggs sausage or bacon.. much like a convenience store breakfast.. very disappointing- we choose our hotels by the type of breakfast they have..

My son liked the basketball court and we all enjoyed the pool. The covered patio with ceiling fans was a nice place to escape the heat and still be outside.

I loved all of the amenities for this hotel. I didn't bring my pet but I'm so glad they allow for pets. There was only one thing that holds me back on total top rating. I could small cigarette smoke every evening. I DID NOT report this--because I really didn't want to pack up my things and move rooms. The hotel is smoke free however, the outside smoking area was just below my window. This experience will not deter me from staying again however, I will just be a bit more choosy about my room location. I let them know before I left--there may be some better insulation needed.

Hotel was excellent. The staff were all extremely nice, hotel and grounds kept clean, quiet and safe place to stay. Will definitely make this my go to when I visit the Wilmington area.

Except for the curt staff all was wonderful. The chef was more than helpful and very kind.

Caitlin at the front desk made us feel very welcomed after a very long drive (CA to NC). She pointed out restaurants for us, and was very quick with the check-in process. Once we got to the room, my name was on the tv screen & the room was so nice and clean, which was a welcome change from some of the other hotels we stayed at on the road.

The staff was very nice. The room was comfortable, however it could have been cleaner. The front of the refrigerator was noticeably dirty, when I went to clean it with a alcohol wipe what came off was brown. I had to wash the whole front of the refrigerator with soap and water to get it clean. The floors in the kitchen had not been swept as their were crumbs all over the floor, so I’m pretty sure the floors have not been mopped either. To much overlooked during Covid.

When booked the trip, it did say that it was a pet friendly hotel, and took my money for the reservation. Upon arrival I was not aware that there would be an additional fee of $75 for a pet that was traveling with me. The cost should have been known upfront.

We needed a getaway and picked this place because it was close to beach and rated as a nice place. It was very nice. We didn’t go on the beach due to crowdedness. However the hotel was still nice and roomy. The full kitchen was nice. We also brought our dog and they accommodate pets so that was a plus. I would stay there again.

Overall a very nice stay

This was excellent for our family of four with a disabled 3yr old and a busy 1yr old. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff was always always sweet and friendly. Kids loved the pool (although there was always pollen floating on the surface, more frequent cleaning would be nice), and a short walk to delicious ice cream (Boombalatti's), Mexican food (Que Bueno), and Food Lion. Beach was a short drive, which is why we were there.

The staff at this hotel is amazing, and that’s what would make us return. Our 2 suites were not together as requested. They did their best to accommodate us and upgraded one room to a 2 bedroom. The rooms are not consistent in size, get one with a fireplace so you have some extra space! Beds are really comfortable.

I woke up to several cockroaches walking over my body! I am in Lee checked out and left I will never be back. When I told the clerk at the desk about the cockroaches she laughed as I asked for a refund so I just left

This is a nice hotel. The only minor issue was that they allow pets so barking noises can be a problem at night.

Hotel is very clean, staff was super nice and decor is updated and sophisticated. The room was spacious, great furniture and HVAC system worked well, as we needed both AC and heat during our stay. Location is awesome with many shops and restaurants very close by.Breakfast had a wide variety and was well stocked.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room upon arrival had a full garbage can in teh kitchen, I called to have it removed. Maid service did not come in each day to freshen room and the shower drain cover was removed and not preplaced when teh maids left the room the first day.

Large room with all the basics. The only problem was the dead cockroach we found in the kitchen.

The room was up-to-date, comfortable and clean. Everything was there to prepare my own meals. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent....except my one minor complaint - the sausage and eggs were not quite heated enough one day....but I'm sure they would have made it right, had I said something, but I was in a hurry to start my trip home. Plenty of parking and well kept grounds. It's in a great location, and easy to get to/from the highway and beaches. I would definitely stay here again.

Within the first hour of being there, I killed a roach crawling across the stove in the kitchen area. I went and told the front desk associate, she apologized and claimed she was going to move us to a “suite.” The new room was actually smaller, with a much smaller couch also. And on our way up to the new room, we killed another roach in the hallway. Nothing else was offered to us for our inconvenience. Overall, we were very upset about our stay and experience.

My husband and I had an amazing time. We met with a little problem at check in, but the staff was very helpful and went over and beyond to make things right! Friendly staff! Clean! Loved the room! Breakfast was delicious! Overall, I give them 5 Stars!

this time we brought our small dog and I saw dogs were allowed, but at checkin they said it was a $75 fee. We had a reservation we couldn't cancel and the dog with us- bummer. Nice breakfast with large dining area and great coffee bar. we would come again without our dog.

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a suite, and it was a perfect setup for a quick weekend away with our daughter. Enough space for everyone.
