    Location was nice. Breakfast was warm and tasty with plenty of options. I had already contacted the hotel and asked for adjoining rooms. They confirmed they had a king that adjoins two queens. We get to check in and the employee stated that since it was a third party they didnt have communication. I pulled up my email between holiday inn, not booking.com and informed her that was incorrect. She never apologized, just said "this is what we have." Rude, and didnt offer to help solve the problem.

    Breakfast buffet was much better than others we've had. The shower nozzle was very loose and had to be held to use it. Room darkening shades would have been nice with the floodlights in the parking lot, but we didn't need a nightlight, LOL

    Showers was very cold ,water never change .Told the staff about showers & nothing happened .The lady at front desk said they will tell their manager. Like they didn’t charge 200 for last night. Wilmington was booked and this was last resort. Try elsewhere !!!!!!!!!!

    We stayed there for three days and did not have any hot water or decent water pressure. The front desk told us it was because “there was so many guests staying and using the water”, but this was three days straight.

    When I arrived they did not have a reservation for me. I called the holiday inn, university and they said there is nothing they can do, as I booked through Expedia. I had to book a weekend stay at the hotel I was, as I did not have transportation. They gave me the number for Expedia that I called once I was checked in. I called around 11:30-12:00 to file a claim with Expedia. They advised me it would take 72 hours or so to have a response. Imagine my surprise that my claim is not being honored. I purposefully purchased cancellation insurance, in case something happened. I wonder why I wasted my money when it cannot be used. This ended up not only being sad for the loss of my friend, but I also lost money I really could not afford to lose. I will never use Expedia nor will I ever use a holiday inn again. I remember a world that used to care about customer service. I’m guessing that you don’t belong to that world. Very disgruntled customer, Linda Cuzzi

    Room was clean, coffee is excellent and you can have some any time of the day - regular and decaf! Location is a bit noisy but we had zero bath towels and didn’t realize until getting out of the shower. Had to dry off with washcloths. Big miss on housekeepings work.

    The breakfast was good. I was expecting more options but what was available was sufficient and tasty. The location of the hotel was okay. We still had a 15 - 20 minute drive to visit with our son, daughter n law, and grandkids in Rocky Point. That wasn’t a deal breaker for us, though. It was our only option available. The hotel was quiet and the bed comfy. Parking was scarce after day light hours. Contractors took up much of the spaces.

    it was only good thing about the stay everything, from the beginning they gave us a room we could get in due to the key circle was missing from the door just a open hole. stayed in hallway over twenty minutes waiting for another room. OK WE GOT IN THIS ONE. the sound when you first go into the master bedroom almost make you cover your ears it was so loud like a small lawnmower going. i look out the window for the view of the pool and then notice by the bottom of the window and wall is mushy like paper mache and you could poke you finger through it. the bathroom door had no handle on the inside i vb4oke a nail trying to close it from the inside. willing to over look all this. I just wanted to enjoy a vacation no problems no work..lol.. we leave for the beach and dinner when we return and try to open the door to the room the handle comes flying off into the hallway. well to the front desk again. we get moved to 401 vent is leaking dripping on floor table and tv. notified front desk twice before anyone finally came to look. the light would not work in bedroom and in the kitchenette the light would flicker and glow bright then out. I cut it off afraid of afire. around 2am the fire alarms woke us up three different time from 2am thru 3pm the fire dept lights kiddos were scared omg this is a nightmare. The manager said she could not refund our money due to third party booking and promised to give us points as that was all she could do, surprise no points as promised. I am thinking about going to the news channels with this =. Absolutely unacceptable. I paid 404.00 to stay two nights and deal with this. wow.....

    The hotel was nice, room was clean but I suggested they put a mat or strips in the bathtub. Tub was slippery especially when body wash was applied. My sister-n-law fell, she was in another room. We had to take her to the hospital. Mgmt should really take care of this. An older person could really get hurt.

    A minor problem with bathroom faucet but we dealt with it. My major complaint is that the bed was very high. I am 5’2” and had trouble getting in and out of the bed. Was afraid I would fall especially going to bathroom in middle of the night.

She had her cart on the second floor and stated that she had just got there and she was stocked. Then why be on the floor if you are not ready to work? I ran into her on the first floor in front of the laundry and asked again for towels. She saId that I was not on her list. I went to the front desk and the blond woman gave me towels and asked how could she help.

He had all of our paperwork ready and knew we were coming told us where to park with our RV so the check-in was quick so that we can get to bed ASAP hit breakfast in the morning and be out the door. He had all of our paperwork ready and knew we were coming told us where to park with our RV so the check-in was quick so that we can get to bed ASAP hit breakfast in the morning and be out the door.     The stay there was great very relaxed and quiet.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because when booked and paid through Expedia but when we went to check in the hotel wanted to charge an additional $100 for "incidentals fee to be reimbursed after checking out ' I explained we didn't have an extra $100 on a card bc we had just gotten married and this hotel stay was our gift from a guest plus it's quite inconvenient to ask this when we've Already paid for our room, however the desk attendant was polite and accommodating so he charged a lesser amount for us,which was sent back to us once we checked out,but I still received an email saying they tried to charge my card the remaining $75 overnight but was declined.smh..other than that hiccup all was well

    The next night our room key wouldnt work. Steven sorted this out too. Holiday Inn hotels used to be impressive. Great breakfast, clean.cotton sheets and clean rooms. This is no longer the case. We will not be using this brand again. I wish every employee was like Steven.

    On another note loved the pool but it would have been nice to have cushions on chairs. Also we came down to use pool next more and pool was not open due to cleaning. I would say over an hour and half beyond when it was supposed to open. Cleaning techniques looked thorough but hindered the fact that the attendant lite cigarette after cigarette while vacuuming pool. Ummmm? No wonder it took so long. If you're posting an open time then cleaning should be done long before 9.

    Hotel needs work. Shower head was placed on the wrong wall so when you turn on it shoots the water out to the floor causing flooding every time. Checked in Friday checked out Sunday no house keeping services provided during this time. Pull out sofa mattress is wrapped in plastic makes for an uncomfortable sleep. The wood board at the bottom of the bed would creak anytime you moved. One of the remotes to the tv did not work. Manager was rude to guest when telling them the pull was closed due to storm. When I called to request more towels I was told that they only had 5 left for the rest of the night and I needed to come down to get them. The whole experience was disappointing especially for an IHG hotel. There was only one employee that was very helpful and caring that’s the gentlemen that cleans up around the property.

    It was a okay hotel. The breakfast was good and the room was nice but the service was poor and housekeeping disnt never come clean the room so the trash was bad. They kept closing the pool when it would drizzle with no lighting or thunder. The toilet seat was broken and clogged up the 1st night. When we reported it they just handed us a plunger to unclog it ourselves. Will not book there again.

    Bed was comfortable and room was fairly clean. New furniture...easy to see they are trying to update their spaces. Whoever is doing the renovations isn't taking rime to glue down carpet in places, or make even cuts. Our closet carpet wasn't glued down, the nightstands on either side of the bed were loose (just a little weight and they will come off the wall), and there was mildew on the shower floor. The drain in the shower was backed up, but they immediately fixes it. Breakfast was good - cheese omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Close enough to walk to restaurants and Walmart. Friendly and helpful staff, a list of nearby restaurants beyond walking distance, location all made for a positive experience.

    I was doubled booked and tried to cancel one of the reservations immediately. I went to the property and spoke with Regina (front desk clerk) she was unwilling to contact a manager or cancel one of the reservations. She told me that only Hotels.com could cancel the reservation and there was nothing at all that she could possibly do to help. Regina was very rude on the two occasions I spoke with her.

    We reserved this hotel specifically for the amenities of an outdoor pool and fitness space. I have been here for 5 days (4 nights) and the pool has been closed the entire time. This was not mentioned on the website when booking. Likewise the fitness center had three machines, one not functioning at all, and dismal set of weights where half or more were missing. I shared my displeasure with three different staff and none seemed to care. I came here for my son's college orientation and will be visiting often. I assure you I won't stay here again and I'll tell other parents the same. Truly a disappointment for the Holiday Inn chain...

    Mr. Stephan was just great checking us in and throughout our stay ! When we got tour room 122 it didn't have any Kleenex in it so i asked a person a Maintenance Person and he gladly got me some. The bathroom Tub had rust spots on it and the shower head was nasty but my Girlfriend had to clean it before we showered ! The clothes rod where the closet was and the shelf above it were dirty and had not been dusted it appeared for awhile ! The Ice Bucket had something in the bottom and Mr. Stephen had to hand wash it and give me some liners for it.None in the room. A HK worker came to clean the room & we weren't ready so I asked her to come back in about 20-25 minutes & be sure to put on clean linen.We left for the Wedding and returned at 5:30 and the room had not been cleaned at all.I went to see Mr. Stephen again and he apoligized and said HK was gone for the day ! He gave us some sheets & we had to change it ourselves. Not what we had planned ! This is totally unacceptable for a hotel stay and some price adjustments should be in place for all of my Service Troubles from House Keeping.

    I had requested adjoining rooms at the time of booking and noted this request in the comments section as well. Unfortunately, we did not receive adjoining rooms upon arrival. I was later informed that requests made through third-party apps may not always be communicated properly to the Holiday Inn system. In the future, I’ll be sure to call the hotel directly to confirm special requests. It would be helpful if this information were made clearer during the booking process so guests can avoid similar issues.

    The property and staff were fine. However, after leaving I received notice that my credit card was charged for $25 with no given reason. When I tried calling the front desk, no one answered. Last time I spent a night at a Holiday Inn they charged me $15 for a hair dryer we never used. I think I'm done with Holiday Inn and their associated hotels.

    The room was the size of a matchbox and the little closet area where you would normally hang your clothes had a self installed right in the middle with a coffee pot, so my blouses would hang onto the coffee pot. I had to hang them on the shower bar in the bathroom. On a good note, the brealfast was pretty good and the coffee in the breakfast area was good.

    The staff were kind and helpful. Our ac stopped working the first night which might’ve been user error, but they had someone in the room to fix it almost immediately. The breakfast is delicious and there’s plenty options. The rooms are so clean you couldn’t pick something to complain about if you wanted to. I would’ve just loved it the mini fridge had a freezer compartment. (We brought some ice cream back and couldn’t keep it once we noticed) 10/10 would come back!

    The hotel is right next to Walmart which is great if you need something. Also, the beach was 20 minutes away. Only issue was the carpets needed some vacuuming.

    Doors didn't lock properly. No hot water. Got moved twice due to room needing repairs. My daughter got locked in the bathroom because the door stuck. Then a shower door fell on me. They wanted to move me a third time instead of fixing it. Didn't ask me was i okay. Just wanted to threaten me if i didn't move again that they wouldn't be liable that i got hurt. Made no repairs to the room i was in. Go camping without a tent instead. You'd like it better than this hotel.

    This is just an OK place to stay. The King Suite we had was two cavernous rooms with really spartan (and not very comfortable) furniture. Nothing on the walls, so it was sort of bleak. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate. Again, just a place to stay... nothing special.

    It was under construction. A lot of material left in the walking area. Like wood, electric tools just unsafe. The room was good the service was good. Disappointed the pool was closed and I wasn’t told it was closed
