I was testing out this hotel to see if it would be a good place to recover after surgery. It was very clean, the staff was kind, and the amenities were nice. I would feel comfortable here.

Our room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in the area for a concert and a beach day, and I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay. I would stay again :)

Neat and clean property and staffs are good. Breakfast was good too. Had an itching after sleeping on the bed for Me and got rashes. And toilet was not Flushing properly.

The staff this stay were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms always clean and beds always comfortable. Much improved from my last stay here

The carpet in the room had a bad smell, like urine, and the hotel entrance smells only of dog urine.

The online experience was bad, I booked the room, but the dates got changed (somehow?), I needed to call to correct the dates and then the rates al.ost doubled. I will not ever be staying here again. The only disappointment is the breakfast doesn’t have much to choose. If I remember correctly it has less items then other Hampton I lived. Overall, a good place to stay for traveling Wilmington and Carolina Beach.

Clean room. Overall cleanliness excellent. Very friendly staff, especially Bruce the bartender. Lobby had orange fuzed water, peppermint candies, and treats for dog. Breakfast varied each day and had something for everyone's taste or diet. Excellent fitness facility with Peloton, treadmills, stair climber, bench, and weights. Nice location, only a short drive to restaurants and downtown Wilmington. Dog friendly. Would definitely stay again.

I had the most pleasant experience during my stay in Wilmington. Starting even before I arrived. I needed to change my room option from one bed to two and when I called, I spoke to someone who was very friendly during our call and was able to make that change. Upon arrival, another friendly front desk staff member greeted me. I checked in quickly and received two bottles of water. My room was large and nicely appointed. I did not lack anything. Breakfast was a wide variety and very tasty. The Dark Roast coffee, bless you, it was perfectly strong. I am picky and I find coffee can be hit or miss. Thank you for that. Bottled waters were offered at the ready. The water with orange slices at the front desk was a nice touch. Upon checking out, another friendly front desk person thanked me. I noticed that a lot of folks staying here were individuals that chose the Hampton because of its proximity to the hospital, and I feel that the staff, knowing this, were extremely compassionate in their interactions with the guests.

Room and bath were good. But during the night there was beeping that lasted until 5am. Not coming from my room. Front desk said they couldn't do any compensation because i booked 3rd party. Hilton should do better.

This is a reasonably priced hotel especially convenient to the nearby medical facilities. Because of its proximity there were occasional sirens but few. The room was spotless and appeared newly renovated. The hotel offered a small bar, open for a few hours in the evening plus there was items available in a snack shop in the lobby. There was a breakfast included with quite a few options. There are dining options within a mile or so but only one was within walking distance.

The staff was very unfriendly, with the exception of one clerk who checked us in, no one else spoke or greeted us coming in or going out. One guy just stood there behind the desk when we came in late night like a zombie. No greetings or acknowledgement at all. Same with lady the next morning as we were leaving out at front desk. I stopped to get water right where she was standing...never said a word. No Hi, GM, did you have a good night. have a great day...nothing. Just walked away like she never saw us. I am a regular and the lack of hospitality during this visit and the lack luster breakfast has ended that for me. I will not be coming back to this location.

Over all good price. Bathroom was large but space not utilized well: sink area small, shower cramped, short toilet. The room was very dark even with lights on. Broken elevator. Staff kind, breakfast smelt good but didn’t eat.

The area around the hotel felt safe. We were headed to a family memorial service so it was a rather somber occasion for us. The staff was friendly. The room was very nice and clean. The only very small complaints I have is that the sink stopper did not work and one of the electric window shades did not work.

The gentleman at check-in was exceptional and made it very quick and easy. The room was clean, large and comfortable. There were several places for good food in the area and it was very close to the dog show I was attending. They welcomed my dog too. Best hotel stay ever for me.

Everything was orderly but weird smellin hallway. Worse in room. Tried to spray cologne but made it worse. Smelled stale, musty, like dried sweat. Im thankful i didn't have to spend much time in the room. At breakfast, the coffee was good. Its okay for a short unexpected stay though. Not impressed, especially for the price. Staff were nice and helpful.

Looks like a fairly recent remodel and everything is done with the least expensive amenities that you could have. We reserved three rooms next to each other. We have requested them to clean the room. Even went to the front desk for request. No one cleaned the room during our three night stay

Check-in was seamless. Rooms and property is pristine and quiet. Breakfast is hot, abundant, and delicious. There’s a designated pet relief area that was really convenient to access. Parking is plentiful, particularly because I had a giant U-Haul to park!

The breakfast selections of different flavored waffles were a hit and the addition of turkey sausage was a major plus for those of us who do not eat pork. We plan to stay at the hotel on our next visit to the area.

The room was clean and spacious, there was a very useful tray table. I loved the bathrooms and the breakfast was great. The workout rooms were small but adequate and clean.

My room was in great condition and seemed like it was renovated recently. The bathroom was spacious and I liked the walk-in shower. Finding a parking space late at night was an issue because the hotel was occupied to capacity and there was also a truck taking multiple spaces.

We only stayed for 1 night. The property was nice and clean. The guest service rep was polite and friendly. The only issue was that the pool was "broken" and they couldn't send someone to fix it. It would have been nice to go swimming, as it was in the 80s that day.

The facility was very nice, updated and friendly staff. Unfortunately the groundskeepers were outside of our window with a gas powered blower at 8:15 am while I was still sleeping. Not what I would expect for a higher tier hotel.

We arrived at the hotel about 2:40 pm check in is 3:00pm room was not ready until 3:22 pm. Desk called house keeping to clean our room 115, got into the room at 3:30 pm.

This property was fantastic for a weekend getaway. When I walked in the door to check in I was meet by a lovely lady and gentleman they were both very welcoming. The check in process was smooth. As I looked around at the lobby and the eating area and the bar it was all very clean. When the hubby and I entered our room we were amazed at the size of the room the floor to ceiling windows allowed a good amount of natural light to come into the room and they also allowed a good view of your surroundings. The room was super clean the bathroom was super clean and omg the bed slept really good. I also loved the fact that when you walked into the room your name was displayed on the tv.That made me feel like I was at a really expensive hotel or resort without paying the high price. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The one lady working that area made sure items were replenished and the area was clean. She also made sure the dinning area was wiped down as soon as someone got up to leave so someone else could have a nice clean spot. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is my stay was to short. I wish I could have stayed a little longer to relax.

This was a clean hotel with all good accomodations. We enjoyed the pool, and all the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. My only complaint was the poorly stocked, breakfast buffet. We went to eat at 9:30 am and there was nothing to eat. I realize the buffet closes at 10:00am, but I was really surprised at how bad the few choices were.

Fast and easy check in

We were given a room backing to the elevator on the 2nd floor and the noise was terrible. Thank goodness we had earplugs with us. We discovered at checkout that we probably selected "accessible room" option when making our reservation. Will not make that mistake again.
